Secret Seduction

He drank heavy from her, pulling more, and she wanted him to take more. She held him to her.

Amanda moaned and cupped his head as he slowly began fucking her again. They were both slick with their juices, her need building again. How could she still be ready for more? Her body shook as he surged his hips forward. He began thrusting in and out of her again.

  More, Amanda! I want more.

Cage released her neck, grabbed her hips, and pounded his length harder. It hurt, but it hurt so good. He withdrew his cock, leaving only the head in before sliding balls deep back inside her.

Amanda shoved her hips up to meet his. She wanted to stop, but she also wanted more, craved more.

Cage thrust so hard one last time that she was sent flying into one of the most intense orgasms she’d ever experienced. She came so hard that she hadn’t noticed he had also cum also until he slumped against her body.

He gave her a swift kiss on the lips before slipping out of her and lying on his back. He grabbed her, pulling her into his arms so that her head lay on his shoulder.

Amanda looked down to his still-hard length covered with their juices.

“Thank you, Amanda,” he said after a couple of moments.

  “You are welcome.”

“I knew taking you out of there in spirit form was dangerous to do, but when I thought I’d lost you, I lost it.”

“Was that a form of affection from the great Cage?”

Cage snorted and smacked her butt.

  “Don’t push me.”

Amanda lifted her head and looked at him. “There is no need to be afraid of feeling love, Cage.”

  Cage sighed. “I apologize.”

  “For?”

“For leaving you before when you spoke of feelings. I am not afraid of them. I just never put myself in a situation where I needed to feel them…”

  “But…”

“Are you going to make me say it?”

  “Yes, I am.”

He snarled at her, which she was beginning to find sexy.

“Come on, you can say it, for me,” Amanda teased.

“Fine, I am having feelings for you,” he whispered.

  “I didn’t hear that.”

Cage shook his head. “I’m not saying it again. Don’t push me.”

“Fine, stubborn vampire,” she said, then dropped her head back to his shoulder. “Feelings are not anything to be ashamed of. Anyhow, do you know that woman?”

“Yes, and she is one dead vampire.”

“Who was she? I didn’t see her in the vision.”

“Her name is Meagan. Ian’s old girlfriend. I guess she’s not ready to give him up. If she wants to play with Kayla, fine, but the moment she crossed the line and tried to kill you, she fucked up. As soon as Kayla and Ian stop making love we are going out hunting.”

Amanda lifted her head again. “You can hear them?”

“Of course, just as they can hear us. Logan would be going crazy right now if he was here.”

  Amanda sighed.

  “What’s wrong, my lovely?”

“What are we going to do?”

  “What do you mean?”

“Well, you don’t live here. I know we are meant to be together, but where?”

“Hmmm, I haven’t thought about that. I’m not fond of Florida, but I’m damn glad I came, because I met you. But, I can’t just leave my post in South Carolina until they find someone to fill it.”

  “How long will that take?”

“I don’t know, my lovely. I have to stay there and protect humans until they find someone to take my place. How about we spend time there, and once they find someone, if you want to be near your friends, we can move here, but not in Logan’s home or your apartment.”

Amanda hadn’t thought about what they would do until this point. He had made a good point. Maybe she could go with him for a while, and once everything was handled, they could come back. Or she could stay here until he came back.

“No,” he snapped. “I’m not leaving you.”

  “Stop reading my mind.”

“I will not,” he told her, then pulled her to him and kissed her.

They kissed for so long and passionately, she thought they would end up making love again.

“I would love to, but we have to leave. Ian is ready.”

Amanda didn’t want him to go, but she knew the ring would protect them, just as it had protected her.

She moved over his body, letting her pussy press against his now semi-hard cock, kissing him deeply. His hands went to her waist and he ground his cock against her.

Cage pulled back. “My lovely, this is unfair. I can’t go out like this, and there is no time to make love to you again.”

He sat her up, his fingers playing with her nipples.

“I know, and I’m so sorry.” She said it, but she didn’t mean it.

He smacked her on her butt. “You lie. Off me, my lovely. I must dress, and you stay in the confines of this home until we return.”

Amanda pouted, then stood. She looked around for her clothes. They both dressed in silence. Cage grabbed her hand and led her upstairs.

Amanda snickered to herself, almost feeling like this was a relationship. Cage always seemed to back up when it came to showing emotions, except when they were having sex. She was going to have to work to get him to show that same emotion when there were out in public.

When they reached the living room, Ian and Kayla were making their way downstairs.

“You, stay inside,” Cage told her, then gave her a brief kiss.

  “Ditto, Kayla,” Ian said.

  Chapter Nine

Amanda waited until the door was closed before turning to Kayla.

“Julia is missing everything,” Kayla said with a giggle.

  “I know,” Amanda agreed.

  “Want some tea?”

  “Sure.”

Kayla waved her into the kitchen. As Kayla made the tea, she sat at the bar.

“I’m going to go with Cage back to South Carolina for a while.”

There was a small rattle of dishes as her words took an effect on Kayla.

  “You’re going to what?”

“Yes, I am going with him, but not for long. He wants to make sure his home town is secured before we come back.”

  “Do you know how long?”

“Maybe a couple of months. I have a lot to work on with him.”

Kayla placed the kittle on the stove.

  “Like what?”

“You can tell he’s not the best at showing emotions, and he’s very controlling. I doubt we’ll be standing at the next Christmas party hand-in-hand while sipping on drinks.”

Kayla snickered. “You are right. I don’t see that in Cage.”

“Yeah, so I want to be alone with him awhile.”

“Just for that, or is it because he has a wicked cock on him that makes it hard for you to be quiet?”

Amanda blushed. “What do you mean?”

Kayla placed her hand on her hips. “Girl, don’t give me that. I could hear you both from the upstairs.”

“Oh, my god. You could hear us, just as he could hear you guys.”

Kayla set a cup and a spoon in front of her. The spoon fell out of the cup and onto the floor. Amanda bent down to pick up the spoon.

  “Yeah, Logan didn’t set…”

“What was that, Kayla?” Amanda rose and saw Kayla against the cabinet, with what looked like an arrow through her shoulder.

She spun around in the chair to see the same crazy vampire woman standing at the door.

“How the hell did you get in here?”

“The witch still lives, I see.” Meagan sniffed the air. “I’m guessing you are Cage’s bitch.”

“Leave…leave her out of this,” Kayla spoke before blood spurted from her mouth.

“Shut up, whore. How the hell is she still living? That arrow is covered with poison and should have killed you by now.”

  “Who st
ill fights with an arrow in this day in age?” Amanda taunted, trying to get her attention off Kayla.

  “Don’t worry about that.”

Amanda tried to flee from the room, but she was too slow. The vampire shot her. The arrow went into her stomach. She instantly felt the poison move in her body. She went to the floor groaning in pain.

Meagan laughed. “He is mine, and you are dead.”

Amanda felt something pressed against the back of her head. She thought it might be an arrow or a gun. Either way, if she pulled that trigger, it was going to hurt like hell. She may not die but if she got shot in her brain, all her memories could be wiped.

“Pray to whoever you pray to, witch, and hope they bring you back again.”

Amanda closed her eyes, waiting for the pain. She jumped when Meagan’s body fell on the floor next to her. Strong arms helped her off the floor and into his arms.

Amanda tried to speak to help Kayla, but she was too weak. She knew she was dying. Again. Twice in one day.

Cage laid Amanda on the bed and ripped her shirt open, exposing the arrow. It looked to not be lodged into any of her organs.

“My lovely, I’m so sorry but this is going to hurt.”

He pressed down on Amanda’s chest to keep her still, then pulled the arrow out quickly.

Amanda screamed, blood pouring from her mouth. He took off her shirt and wiped her mouth.

  “Kayla…” she whispered.

“Is all right. Now get some sleep.”

  Chapter Ten

Amanda awakened to the feel of someone stroking her hair. She took in a deep breath before opening her eyes. The hand on her hair stilled for a moment, then began to move again.

  “How long was I out?”

  “Almost two days.”

“What? How did I stay out so long?”

“The poison in your blood must have taken longer to get out.”

“What about Kayla? Is she okay?”

“She’s just fine. She woke earlier today and Kayla and Ian have been rekindling since then, and it’s driving me wild.”

  Amanda laughed. “Why?”

“Because it just is. How are you feeling?”

“I’m ok. It feels like I have been asleep for a week. What happened to that Meagan vampire?”

“After Ian and I left, about five minutes into the drive looking for her, he said he didn’t feel right. He knew Meagan and he knew that she would be somewhere close. So, we decided to come back home.”

“How did she get inside the house without you knowing?”

“Powers—she had to have some powers over her to cloak her from us detecting her.” Cage let out a deep breath. “When we got back, we saw her standing over you, and Kayla curled up against the cabinet. Ian didn’t hesitate. He snapped her neck before I could say a word.”

  “Good, she was crazy.”

“More than you know. Now we are going to have to establish some rules here, my lovely.”

  “Like?”

“For one, no more dying on me. You are going to give me a heart attack.”

Amanda didn’t want to move, she wanted to lie in his arms and let him pamper her.

“That’s a deal if you promise me something.”

  “What’s that?”

“That wall you have built around that thing we call a heart, drop it just a tad. You don’t have to be a push-over to show feelings. No one would think less of you if you ask questions before kicking their ass. Also, no more erasing my friend’s memories of you.”

When he didn’t speak, she called his name. “Cage?”

“Fine. Only for you, Amanda. Geez I feel like such a pussy.”

Amanda laughed and lifted her head to look into his silver eyes. “You are not a pussy. You are in love. It’s emotions that everyone feels now and then. It’s nothing to be afraid of. I am going to say this and it’s from the heart. I think I’m falling in love with you, Cage.”

  Cage stiffened.

“I’m not expecting you to say them back to me—at least not yet—but sooner or later, I would like to hear them.”

She pressed a kiss on his lips.

“I will try. We leave in the morning to return to my home town. I have been gone long enough, and I don’t doubt that Kristian Morganti is tired of doing my job. He lives in North Carolina but is living in my home for the time being.”

“I am sure he is. Oh wait, what about my job? I need to let them know and give them a two-week notice. I need to pack and get some things.”

“No need to worry. I am capable of taking care of you until the end of times. You never have to work unless you want to. We can get Logan to make sure your place is secured, and get everything packed and stored so when we return it can be moved out of storage and into our new place. I will buy you any and everything you need to wear once we get there.”

  Amanda frowned at him.

“If that’s what you would like, Amanda.”

Amanda smiled—at least he was trying. “I would love that.”

“Then tomorrow is the start of our new life. You and I together. Forever.”

Amanda knew that for the first time in a very long time, she was making the right decision. They would be together for all eternity. This ring would keep her young forever. If she should ever lose it, which was impossible since it was fused to her finger, even though they hadn’t discussed it, Cage could turn her and make her into a vampire. That was something they would have to discuss later. Now, she only wanted to love and feel loved.

Today would be the start of a love made in heaven. She only hoped that the secret she was holding back would not ruin them in the long run.
