But in the car on the way home at two A.M., still reeking of imported essential oils, still throbbing from the poundings I’d taken, I started to giggle. And then Sam started to laugh out loud.

“Voice boxes removed,” he said, shaking his head as he drove along the empty highway.

  “Crazy.”

  “So much Armani,” he snorted.

  “And gold records.”

  “And cigars.”

  “And their view.”

  “And their money.”

And we didn’t see them again, even though they called for weeks afterward. Even though they fell a little bit in love with us, as had Pamela and Andy. Because Sam and I weren’t looking for love. We had plenty of that. We were looking for one thing only. And somehow I was sure that we’d find it again once I placed a personal ad of our own:

Happily married twosome seeks similar couple for debauchery. For intensity. For four on the floor.

  ABOUT THE AUTHORS

SYDNEY BEIER recently returned to Seattle after a two-and-a-half-year stint living in Germany with her husband. They now contemplate existence auf English from a little hill just northwest of the Space Needle. In addition to writing, Sydney dabbles in photography. Her images have been featured in Alaskan tourism publications and newspapers. Her fiction has been published at Erotica Readers and Writers Association, Clean Sheets, and in Logical Lust’s ebook, Eternally Erotic.

Originally from New Zealand, MAGENTA BROWN is based in London where she writes for newspapers and magazines, and for film and television—usually under her real name. Having also trained and worked as an actress, it’s to be expected that Magenta has also done time as a phone and text sex operator.

RACHEL KRAMER BUSSEL (www.rachelkramerbussel.com) is senior editor at Penthouse Variations and a contributing editor at Penthouse, where she writes the “Girl Talk” column. She is the editor of Up All Night: Adventures in Lesbian Sex and Naughty Spanking Stories from A to Z, Volumes 1 and 2; she writes the “Lusty Lady” column for the Village Voice; and she is an interviewer at Gothamist.com. Her writing has been published in over sixty erotic anthologies, including Best American Erotica 2004 and 2006, as well as AVN, Bust, Cleansheets.com, Curve, Diva, Girlfriends, Mediabistro.com, the New York Post, On Our Backs, Oxygen.com, Punk Planet, Rockrgrl, the San Francisco Chronicle, Time Out New York, and Velvetpark.

ELIZABETH COLDWELL has been writing and editing erotica for longer than she actually cares to remember. Her work has appeared in anthologies including Best S/M Erotica; Leather, Lace and Lust; and Sex at the Sports Club.

BONNIE DEE is a young fortysomething wife, mother, and secretary, who has discovered her inner writer over the past couple of years. As her fiction pieces grew racier, she discovered that her smutty stuff had a name—erotica. She’s had a piece accepted at Penthouse Variations and a story, “Sports Widow,” will appear in the upcoming anthology Sex at the Sports Club. Erotic writing is a great release and now that she’s “come out” to her immediate family, she’s even more comfortable with making it a part-time career.

EMERALD has been a writer since age seven, though her repertoire did not begin to include erotica until her early twenties. Originally from Iowa, she has studied creative writing at Eastern Washington University in Spokane and holds a master’s degree in political management from George Washington University in Washington, DC. She spends much of her time writing fiction (both erotic and not) and poetry, as well as working as an activist for reproductive rights and other socially progressive issues. Currently she resides with her cat in Rockville, Maryland, and makes her living in the nonprofit arena in Washington, DC.

Decadent, devilish, and delightful are three words that have been used to describe the work of K. L. GILLESPIE. She wrote her first story, at age seven, about a child-eating nun, and since then she has worked as a music journalist, art gallery curator, and screenwriter. Her work has appeared in several magazines, from TANK to Moist, and in Mitzi Szereto’s anthology Wicked. At the moment she is working night and day on her eagerly anticipated first novel, Jesus Loves Penge.

EVA HORE has been widely published on the Web and in many magazines, such as Hustler, Forum, and New Cummers, and in the anthologies The Mammoth Book of Erotic Fantasies, Skin Deep 2, Delicate Friction, Best Lesbian Fiction 2005, My Wife and Her Lovers, Erotica 5, and Bettina Can’t Help It. Her first novel, Sexual Deception, and two novellas are all due for release in 2005.

GENEVA KING is an active member of the Erotica Readers and Writers Association, and her work has been published in Erotic Fantasy: Tales of the Paranormal. She intends to publish a collection of her stories, if her professors ever give her enough time to do so. You can visit her website at www.angelfire.com/empire2/gking/index.html.

TERESA LAMAI lives in the Pacific Northwest. When she stopped dancing, she started writing fiction, and it swiftly became a full-blown obsession. Her writing can be found in Best Lesbian Erotica, and at CleanSheets.com and the website of the Erotica Readers and Writers Association. She is currently working on her first novel.

JEAN ROBERTA lives on the Canadian prairie, where she teaches mandatory first-year English classes at the local university and writes erotic stories, articles, reviews, and rants. Her monthly column, “In My Jeans,” can be found on the website Bluefood.com. Her stories have appeared in previous editions of Best Women’s Erotica (2000, 2003, 2005) and Best Lesbian Erotica (2000, 2001, 2004, 2005), as well as Best of Best Lesbian Erotica 2, Hot Lesbian Erotica, and The Merry XXXmas Book of Erotica.

After a long career as a teacher and as writer of a successful series of children’s books, CATE ROBERTSON recently turned her attention to erotica. Her fiction has been published online at CleanSheets.com and ScarlettLetters.com, as well as in print anthologies. Cate lives in Canada with her husband.

With a bit of talent, a fairly filthy mind, and a day job that brings her into contact with a vast array of potential characters, ADRIE SANTOS has been slowly turning her dream into her work, with several stories in print in Canada, the United States, and abroad. Though the erotica anthology market seems to have welcomed her with open arms (and legs!), Adrie is currently working on a book, and dabbling in other genres with hopes of being able to live her dream full-time in the near future.

LEE SKINNER’s alter ego is a mommy-track attorney who writes legal articles and police college textbooks. “He” idly wonders why “his” best erotica is always written in a first-person male voice, but as a freelancer, “he” can’t afford the psychotherapy needed to find out.

DONNA GEORGE STOREY finds writing to be the best therapy there is. Her fiction has appeared in The Gettysburg Review; AGNI.com; Clean Sheets; Scarlet Letters; Taboo: Forbidden Fantasies for Couples; Foreign Affairs: Erotic Travel Tales; The Mammoth Book of Best New Erotica 4; Best Women’s Erotica 2005; and Best American Erotica 2006. A story published in Prairie Schooner received special mention in Push-cart Prize Stories 2004. Visit her at www.DonnaGeorge-Storey.com.

ALISON TYLER has written more than fifteen explicit novels, including Learning to Love It, Strictly Confidential, Sweet Thing, Sticky Fingers, Something About Workmen, and Rumors. Her stories have appeared in anthologies including Sweet Life and Sweet Life 2; Taboo; Best Women’s Erotica 2002, 2003, and 2005; Best of Best Women’s Erotica; Best Fetish Erotica; Best Lesbian Erotica 1996; Wicked Words 4, 5, 6, 8, and 10; Sex at the Office; and Sex on Holiday, as well as in Playgirl magazine.   ALICIA WAG’s work has been published in newspapers, magazines, and literary journals across the country. She writes articles, nonfiction, and fiction, but enjoys creating erotica most of all. She lives in Massachusetts with her husband and children.

SASKIA WALKER (www.saskiawalker.co.uk) is a British author who has had short erotic fic
tion published on both sides of the pond. You can find her work in Seductions: Tales of Erotic Persuasion; Sugar and Spice; More Wicked Words; Wicked Words 5 and 8; Sextopia; Naughty Stories from A to Z, Volumes 3 and 4; Naked Erotica; Taboo: Forbidden Fantasies For Couples; Three-Way; Best Bondage Erotica 2; The Merry XXXmas Book of Erotica; Stolen Moments: Erotic Interludes; and Stirring Up a Storm. She also writes erotic romance, and her first novel, Along for the Ride, and a novella, Summer Lightning, will be published in 2005.

JORDANA WINTERS’s writing has appeared online at thermo-erotic. com, eXtasybooks.com, and free-sex-story.org. When not hiding behind her computer telling naughty tales, Jordana is a somewhat quiet and reserved white-collar worker. Her interests are reading, writing, and pissing people off. Currently she is working on completing her first novel, Bound, a BDSM love story. Visit her at http://jordanawinters.tripod.com.

  L. E. YATES is a twenty-three-year-old student, currently working on the side as a freelance journalist and writer in East Anglia in the United Kingdom. “Cruising” is her first foray into the dirty and demanding twilight world, or so she likes to imagine it, of women’s erotica. Yates is interested in the imaginative loophole sex creates out of the boring contract of everyday life. In her spare time she enjoys visiting urban woodlands and pretending to walk her dog.
