He leaned forward and put his lips against hers. She moaned softly and moved closer. The kiss rose to a feverish pitch quickly, causing her to lose hold of her wine glass. Before she could stop it, the contents spilled onto the robe.
She gasped. “Not again!”
He laughed, really laughed until his entire body shook. “Kamber, if I didn’t know better, I’d think your fantasy was really to get me out of clothes, not into a judge’s robe.”
Biting her lower lip, she looked away from him and heard him chuckle.
“Are you kidding me? That’s your fantasy?”
She grinned. “That’s part of it.”
He nodded once. “I see. And the other part?”
Decisions, decisions. How far should she take it? “It remains to be seen.”
Assuming a stern look, he raised his chin as if to say two could play this game. “Counselor, I’m waiting for your answer.”
“Your Honor, it seems your robe needs attention. If it please the court, shouldn’t we uncover the party?”
He arched one eyebrow. “I have no objection.”
Looking him in the eye, she raised her hands to the neck of the robe. With two fingers, she lowered the zipper until she could slide her hands onto his bare chest. He threaded his fingers in her hair, pulling her close for another one of his knee-melting kisses. She tasted the wine and him, wanting more and demanding he give it by exploring his mouth with her tongue.
Suddenly he pulled back, his blue eyes heavy with passion. “You do realize this is my perfect fantasy. Having you here, letting me love you. Is that a bad thing?”
She smiled and lowered the zipper all the way.
“Let me be the judge of that.”
