A Reckless Night
Page 14
She wrapped her legs around him, her arms around his neck and gave in to the passionate assault as he demanded her mouth. His steel hardness sliced through her folds as he rocked her against him triggering the spark for the ignition. She moaned throwing her head back when his lips slid to her jawline and along the length of her neck nipping and biting her delicate skin.
“Can’t wait,” she pleaded.
He rested her upper back against the shower wall as he lifted her to slip into her hot, throbbing sheath. She arched her back and opened up to let him stretch her as he filled her completely. Her breath caught in her throat every time he buried himself to the hilt.
She groaned in protest when he lifted her pulling out only to thrust in harder making her gasp for air. He rocked his tight shaft in and out of her over and over, each shove deliberately slow. She whimpered as each drive plunged deeper into her stroking her inner walls of pleasure.
She let out a scream when she felt his hardness gently scrape against her sensitive spot deep inside making her body shudder uncontrollably as her inner muscles clamped around him, trapping him inside her, her body aching for more. She got what she craved for as he continued to stroke her deeper spots until she cried out with pleasure.
He groaned joining her cry with his final thrust as he emptied himself into her. She collapsed on him, her cheek hitting his shoulder as her lungs fought for air. Electricity rippled through her bloodstream as she rode her orgasm with the water running down her body.
The sound of their strained breathing was smothered in the sound of the running water as he held her to him never wanting to let go. He held her securely with one hand and let her catch her breath.
“Oh my god!!” she rasped as he pulled out of her and set her feet back on the wet floor. He pulled her lips to his letting the warm water steam down their quivering bodies.
“Let’s get out of the shower,” he said as he bent down to take a quick suck on her hardened nipples making her yelp in sheer pleasure.
“I like it when you are wet.” She blushed unable to speak as he enjoyed the flushed look on her face.
He planted a kiss on her cheek before swooping her into his arms and carried her back to the bedroom. He dropped her on the bed as he went down on her, his lips finding hers.
She laughed as her back crashed into the mattress feeling his fingers on her sensitive skin. He trickled his fingertips along her waist making her twist as she laughed, throwing her head against the pillow.
“Kris, that’s enough. I can’t breathe,” she begged trying to push away his hands.
“I’ve never heard a laugh like that, it’s invigorating.”
“I haven’t laughed like this in years. I had forgotten how ticklish I was until tonight.”
“How did I not know this before?” He ran his fingers along her waist making her burst into laughter again.
They landed their heads on the pillow laughing. Kris pulled the sheets over their yearning naked bodies and took her into his arms.
“I used to have a lot of fun, Kris. I loved to laugh, and now I feel like I’ve forgotten how to laugh.” Her voice was soft, and the pain in her voice caused a deep ache in his chest.
“Time to sleep, sweetheart.”
“I’ve changed from an easy-going, fun-loving person to being a stuck up, and I don’t know what I will morph into in the future.”
“It’s a phase, you are still the same fun-loving person, and it’s just that you don’t make time to have fun.”
“How can you be so sure about that?”
“Because I know you.”
“How much do you know about me?”
“I know enough…”
“What if you find out I really am boring?”
“I’ll tickle you.”
“I’ll drive you nuts with my quirks.”
“That sounds like fun.”
“What if I am a bitch?”
“That’s hot.”
“What if I pissed you off?”
“Angry sex time.”
“What if I told you, you could never leave?”
“Not a problem.”
“What if you want to leave?”
“Not happening.”
“Why?”
“I love you, Varsha!! I love you for what you are, and I’ll love you for what you will be.”
She buried her face into the soft skin of his chest unable to speak and closed her eyes as the pounding in his heart lulled her to sleep.
Chapter Fourteen
“Hi, Meena!!” Varsha chirped on the phone on Saturday morning.
“Good morning, sis,” her sister yawned.
“What time will we see you guys?”
“After the boys’ soccer, around noon.”
“Okay see you then…oh, and I have a new code for my garage door.” She winked at Kris who lay in bed facing her.
“Why are you changing the passcode every week?” She couldn’t tell if her sister was concerned or suspicious.
“It’s just a good practice. Too many bad guys around.” She leaned in towards Kris to brush her lips to his. She had changed the passcode thrice in the past few weeks. Kris was practically living with her for almost two months, and she couldn’t be happier.
“Whatever!! I’ve asked Varun to take care of the kids because you and I need to talk,” her sister declared firmly.
“Meena, what’s going on?”
“You know what I want to talk about?”
“I will text you the garage door passcode.” She knew her sister was under a lot of pressure from her ex. He was a manipulative bastard and had her sister convinced he was reformed. She continued to talk to him hoping he would share his grand scheme with her. Varsha knew better.
She laughed after she hung up and rolled into him, her body hitting his body with high energy.
Kris pulled her to him, her back to his chest. “I am one of the ‘Too many bad guys’, huh?”
“No you’re not, but I’m changing the code so she doesn’t catch us when we are…you know…busy.”
“Right, busy doing what?”
She turned to face him and took her lips to his. She took his lower lip between her teeth and dug into it making him shudder. “Doing this.”
She let go of his lower lip but held it between her lips sucking it. His mouth was warm, and she took in his sweet taste and felt the fire build deep inside. She wanted more; she wanted to taste every inch of him and needed to feel the shudders fuel her arousal.
Twirling her knife-edged tongue, she ran it away from his full lips down to his jaw to trace the strong square jaw, his jaw that was finally covered in a well-trimmed beard. She wanted him to grow his beard just like he had it when she met him for the first time, and she had enjoyed having the extra prickle on her sensitive skin.
He was close to losing his control again just by the way she was working wonders with her tongue, and she made it lower to where his pulse was beating on his neck matching the riot in his chest and nipped on his skin. He reached for her hair clasping it as she scraped his skin with her teeth.
He groaned clenching his teeth when he felt her long fingers stroke his ever-hard shaft.
“I love you, baby!!”
She froze when she heard the words that she had heard a few times over the last few weeks but had chosen not to respond or talk about it. She couldn’t hold off her questions any more, and she felt the need to tell him how she felt about him.
“Kris, we barely spent a couple of months together, you can’t love me, and it’s more of a ‘you like me’.” Her voice was soft, her tone stern.
“Why not?”
“I—I thought I loved someone only to feel like I was stripped of all love. It’s too soon to have such strong feelings towards anyone.”
“I don’t expect you to reciprocate. I am just expressing my feelings.”
She pulled back to look into his eyes and saw what she recognized as pure admiration and concern for her, but she wasn’t convinced it was love.r />
“It’s called infatuation. We are attracted to each other and enjoy each other’s company.” She managed to stay calm.
“Are you saying that what we have is a casual fling?”
“I’ve never had one so I don’t know,” she retorted.
“I have, and I know how I feel about you, and I hope you will get there one day.”
She looked at him in silence as his eyes bored into hers.
“I won’t say it if it makes you uncomfortable, but there are times when I lose control over my tongue.”
“No, don’t.”
“Say it or don’t say it?” he chuckled running his fingers on her waist tickling her.
She gasped at the sudden shift and laughed kicking and screaming to free herself. She squealed when he pulled her back to him just when she thought she was getting away.
“Where do you think you’re going?”
“Myra may be up. I want to go check on her.”
“Nice try. She will call me when she is up.” He nuzzled her neck nipping on her delicate skin.
“When do I need to get out of the house?” he asked once their breathing was steady.
“I don’t want you to. I want to tell everyone about us but…”
“But?” he prompted.
“There’s some drama with my ex, and that bastard has pulled my sister into the mix and I don’t want to drop the ‘I am hanging out with this dude’ news yet,” she said feeling the sting of guilt about keeping their relationship a secret from her sister.
“I’m cool with that, sweetness.”
“I know…”
“Can I help with the drama?”
“No, you should stay out of it. That moron is very manipulative. So manipulative he got Meena convinced he is transformed when she was the one who got him out of my life.”
“What?”
“Yeah…crazy. How come you didn’t get all this information when you were stalking me?”
“Cyberstalking wasn’t what you wanted so I went all old school on the stalking.”
She laughed tipping her head backward at the comment about old-school stalking.
“Why is that funny?”
“For a guy who could have cracked into my computer within minutes, you went old school and spent two months finding out more about me?”
“That’s a tad bit silly but was fun.”
“How did your ex convince her when she doesn’t like him…what do you mean she got him out of your life?”
“Oh…well…long story short, in my hopes of saving my marriage, I bought a car for him, the hot red in my garage for his birthday. I was sure it would make him as happy as when I surprised him about paying off the house. I had it parked at Meena’s place and took him at midnight to show him the car.” A shiver ran through her body at the memory of the cold night, and she snuggled closer to Kris.
“You don’t need to talk about it if you don’t want to.” He left a flurry of kisses on her bare shoulder.
“It was a fun evening; we went for dinner, came home, watched a movie, and when it was almost midnight, I took him to Meena’s place. Everyone was asleep, and I handed the key fob to him and showed him the car that was on the driveway.”
She paused taking in a deep breath as he stroked her back.
“His expression was scary. He was furious and to this day, I still don’t know why he was so angry. He smashed the key fob on the cement driveway making the car alarm go off and that ticked him off further. He picked up the key fob and flung it at me and it missed my eye by a millimeter.
I tried to calm him down, but he kept saying ‘Why did you do this?’ over and over again and finally when I raised my voice asking him to calm down, he lost it. He pushed me away with so much force, I fell onto the car, smashed my nose, and lost consciousness.”
He gripped his arms around her and gritted his teeth. “Fuck him!!”
“Meena came outdoors and found me bleeding, laying on the driveway while this guy stood smoking a cigarette. I don’t know what he told Meena, but she went indoors and called the cops. The next day, I woke up in the emergency room, my lips bruised, nose tender, and an angry out-of-control sister.”
“What happened?”
“Kris, Meena was angry, angry at me for letting him hurt me. It took me a few minutes to remember what happened and looked around for my ex worried about what he would say.”
“I hope someone kicked his ass,” Kris growled.
“Meena got him arrested, and a few days later he was deported.” She took a deep breath as relief swept over her.
“Are you okay?”
“I’m okay, Kris. It’s just that I never talked to anyone about this and just talking about it makes me wonder why he reacted the way he did.”
“Because he is an asshole, and he didn’t deserve you.”
Never in her life had she felt as important as she did when she was in Kris’s arms. Her married life was all about how everything was her fault and how everything was because of how she was and the way she did stuff. She was walking on eggshells not knowing what would tick her ex off and had to figure out, within seconds, ways to pacify him. Spending the couple of months with Kris made her realize how distant she was with her ex, both physically and mentally.
In the seven years of marriage, they probably had sex a handful of times only to feel ashamed for wanting more. Her ex would make excuses about how he felt she was too tomboyish for him to have a sexual urge or was too trashy for him when she decked up for him. She had finally resigned to the fact that everyone’s married life was the same way.
She had finally lured him with porn as per a friend’s suggestion, and the night before his birthday was the only time he was somewhat interested in having sex with her as he drooled all over the blonde in the sex movie. She conceived that night, and Myra was the best thing that ever happened to her.
“Kris…I don’t…I can’t give you what you want.”
“I don’t need any more than this. I want to wake up every morning in your arms.”
“I am going to tell Meena about us today, but…”
“What’s the matter babe?”
“Meena is convinced I want to go back to my reformed ex.”
His body tightened, his breath quickened, but he did not utter a word.
“There is no friggin way I am going back. That asshole needed to look at a fudging blonde to have sex with me,” she snarled.
“Okay, that’s too much information for me but keep going,” Kris said sitting up in bed.
“The worst part is I was convinced I wasn’t…” She lost her voice when she looked into his eyes filled with questions.
“Sorry, I’ll stop,” she said her voice retreating.
“Sweetheart, I am listening. I am just so angry about what you had to go through, I…” It was his turn to be at a loss of words.
She leaned closer to him putting her arms around his neck. “The night I met you, the way you looked at me, the way my body reacted to your touch…it was the first time I felt alive. All my married life I was convinced something was wrong with me because my ex had no interest in me.”
“You have the hottest piece of ass,” he said squeezing her ass cheek sending jolts of aching pleasure through her body.
“How did you meet this guy and did you not date before you got married?”
“Seriously? In India? My family? My parents?” she mocked.
“People date in India,” he retorted.
“Well, I talked to him before the wedding was arranged, and I didn’t expect my sex life with him would be non-existent at that age. I wanted to get out of my parents’ watchful eyes and see Meena again.”
“See Meena?”
“Meena and Varun eloped and were disowned so they moved to California, and my ex was in the same city; that was one of the reasons I agreed to marry him and he seemed nice.”
“Where did it go wrong?”
“He was fine the first couple of years when I was in scho
ol. We practically lived like roommates except for the time we were on our honeymoon. It didn’t bother me that he didn’t want to touch me or hug me, and when I confronted him, he claimed he saw me as a friend and not a wife and other bull crap.”
“Limp dick?”
“Kris…baby sleeping next door, remember.”
“It doesn’t make sense. Did he have an affair?”
“No, he was too boring to have an affair. He pretty much played video games all the time he was at home.”
“Unbelievable.”
“I think something that I started doing or did after school turned him into an animal.” Her voice was soft with a touch of guilt.
“Are you kidding me?”
“What?”
“Classic case of gas lighting; he has you convinced that you were the reason for him being a fucking asshole.” His voice was rough with anger.
She took in a swift breath at the anger in Kris’s voice and also at the realization that he was right about her ex. Memories of her ex convincing and instilling into her that she was always at fault surfaced, making her body tremble with disgust.
“Kris…everything I did was bad, anything I did was wrong, he constantly tried to kill my confidence,” her voice wavered as she felt the lump in her throat constrict her breathing.
“Easy, easy.” He rocked her in his arms in an attempt to calm her down.
“He was so unpredictable. He was never happy with my accomplishments; he wasn’t even there for my graduation. The day I surprised him about paying off this house was the only time I felt he was genuinely happy. We did fine for a few months, and then he was back to being himself.” She sniffled from the suppressed sadness as he held her to him.
“You paid off the house?”
“Yes, the company I worked for right out of school was acquired, and I had a boatload of stock options. I had asked him about moving to a bigger house and starting a family, but he told me he loved this place and wouldn’t want to ever move.”
“He was an asshole, but you still wanted to start a family with him?”
“I was convinced a baby would solve all the problems and it would motivate him, but now it scares the shit out of me to think of him being in Myra’s life.”
“He is her father and nothing changes that,” his voice was calm but grim.
