  “Very well Barbara, I’ll see to it while you look for Lady Lucinda,” replied Archie.

  Outside, in the Dyavolt Inn, Corky sat with drivers of other noble families as they chatted about what they disliked most about their employers. The door swung open and the rain swept in, causing everyone to yell. A person wrapped in a green cloak walked in and slammed the door. They scanned the area and focused on Corky, walking straight to him.

  Back in the Twilight Vale, the group had arrived in the huge main foyer again after passing through many new and wondrous rooms; the large polished oak table in the centre of the white marble floor had the package on it. It was a present, a pink box tied with a purple silk bow.

  “Where did that come from?” asked Arthur.

  “No idea, I don’t know who delivered it,” she replied and looked at the label, and on it was a poem.

  ‘Just a present to you dear friend, who life very soon will come to an end. The time will come, and that is soon, when you and your friends, will all go boom…” read Archie.

  “Is that package supposed to be ticking?” asked Arthur.

  Archie picked up the package, and sure enough it was ticking. Archie listened to it, and then it suddenly stopped, then clicked. “Oh dear…”
