Kara warmed to hear him praise her. “Will you please spank my ass?” she asked wiggling her butt as she looked up at him. She noticed Joran was hard and ready to fuck her. She licked her lips, hoping she could taste him soon.

“Since you asked so nicely.” Joran sat up in the bed, then pulled her across his lap. He gently massaged her ass before bringing his arm up and then down to hit her ass with a loud whack.

Kara jumped and cried out at the searing pain. Joran pushed her legs apart and felt her clit, gently rubbing circles on it.

Kara panted, shaking her head back and forth. The heat in her core grew slowly. Kara groaned as zings of pleasure lanced out from Joran’s slow circles he drew over her sensitive bundle of nerves.

“Please, Joran,” Kara begged. She groaned and wiggled her hips. Whack. Kara jumped and screamed, but not in pain. He hit her again, over and over. One side of her ass, then the other, Kara’s face buried in the blankets, screaming out her pleasure as her orgasm built. Fire went from her ass to her clit as pleasure built until she could not contain it.

“I am going to come,” Kara panted.

“Not yet you are not. You do not have permission,” Joran commanded.

“Please. Joran. I need to.” She panted.

Joran hit her ass hard three more times, then moved her off of his lap. “Hands and knees.”

Kara moved into position. She grabbed a fistful of blankets as Joran lined up his cock with her pussy.

In one hard thrust, he was buried in her. Kara screamed her pleasure as tendrils of orgasm tried to claim her.

Joran took her hard and fast. Kara’s body shook with the violence of him pounding into her.

“Now, come now,” he told her between clinched teeth.

Kara screamed, her pussy contracting around Joran’s cock. Joran roared as his cock pulsed in her, filling her with his seed. Joran held her hips tightly to his groin until his hot seed stopped spilling into her. Then he fell to her side and pulled her into his arms.

Kara looked up at him with a dreamy, content smile. “Thank you.”

“Anything for you, my bonded. Whatever you want, simply ask me and I will move the heavens to give you whatever you wish. You are my life, my entire world.” He moved her blonde hair out of her face as he spoke.

Kara gulped hard to swallow the lump in her throat at the sincerity of his words. He really meant them. “I love you,” she whispered.

She leaned over and kissed him. “There is one thing I want right now. Well, two.”

Joran raised his eyebrows at her, wanting her to continue.

“I want Laura to be well. I want her back to how she used to be. Not this shell she is now.”

Joran nodded. “What else do you want? My precious bonded.”

“I want Nuvan to be okay. I could not live with myself if he dies because of me. It is all—”

Joran cut her off with a finger to her lips. “First, I must tell you, doctors on Dareen have started a new treatment on Karrina. She is responding well. She is traumatized, but no longer needing constant sedation. Doctor Legav believes Laura will respond just as well, if not better.”

Kara smiled, feeling relief flood her.

“Second, Nuvan will get the best treatment. If the doctor was doubtful of his recovery, he would not have put him in stasis. It is a very complicated procedure and takes a lot of power to run it. I am confident Nuvan will live.”

“Is there anything else you desire?” he asked, staring into her eyes. They were so intense, an emotion she had never seen before.

Kara thought hard about what she could possibly want. Love? She had it. She knew beyond a shadow of a doubt Joran loved her. Happiness? She was happy. Once Laura was well, she would be the happiest she had been since her dad was alive. A baby? She sighed. She never had been in a relationship where she could consider having a child. It would be unfair to bring a baby into an unhappy home.

Kara smiled. “How about kids? I want a baby.”

Joran beamed a smile at her that would make the sun seem dim. “Already done, my lovely, pregnant bonded.”

Kara’s smile fell off of her face. “Are you serious?”

Joran nodded, looking at her nervously. “You do not look happy. I thought you wanted a baby.”

“I do. Oh, I do. You are misunderstanding my fear. What about everything that happened? What if our baby was hurt and it is just a matter of time before I lose it?” She chewed her lower lip nervously.

Joran smiled at her. “Doctor Legav did some very intensive scanning when he found our child. He is sure the baby survived your attack unharmed. She is perfectly healthy.”

Kara’s eyes widened. “She? You already know it’s a girl.”

Joran nodded. “Yes, the intensive scans revealed the gender. Most times a child is not scanned that intensely, but if our baby was harmed and would not survive, we wanted to know early so we could prepare her to pass to our Great Mother.”

  Kara’s eyes filled with tears.

“Kara, my dear lenora, why are you crying?” Joran gently wiped her tears away.

“I am so happy. I never thought any of this would ever happen to me. I have love, and now a baby.”

Joran stared at her for a moment before pulling her into a kiss. “Yes I agree. I never saw myself ever loving, bonding, or creating children. You brought life back into my heart.”

Joran rolled over onto his back and pulled her down to rest her head on his chest. He reached over to a remote and clicked it. The film over the massive windows scrolled away, showing the beauty of outer space. Together they lay in the bed, watching the starlight through the window of the warship as they headed home to their new life together on Dareen.

  THE END

  ABOUT THE AUTHOR

I wrote my first story in the third grade. It was a homework assignment that was supposed to be just a couple of sentences for each picture, and I went a bit overboard. I can still remember that teacher calling me up front because she was so impressed with how I wrote the story. I followed that teacher’s advice and kept writing.

I had to set it aside for a while when I met Mr. Sara Anderson in 1991, and we had our first child. Eventually I was able to get a laptop and start writing again. Several unpublished stories and many half starts later I wrote Starlight.

I have always loved science fiction. From Star Trek to Star Wars and Babylon 5. Then as a young adult I started reading romance books. Eventually I started writing sci-fi romance. I love how the possibilities are almost endless with the science-fiction genre.

Today I live with my husband and children in a small farming town in Missouri.
