“I guess it’s because Latina pussy is much better than white girl pussy,” she purred. James smiled as he squeezed her ass cheeks.

“Fuck! I’m gonna nut!” he screamed.

“Oh gimme that cum, baby!” she cried out. James’ hips stopped thrusting as he began to empty the contents of his balls into her pussy. As he came, James looked up and finally saw Diana.

“Diana?!” he cried out. Mariza, who had a smile spread across her face, immediately dropped it as she stood stunned alongside James.

“Oh fuck!” she gasped, her body shuddering. Diana felt warms tears crawling down her face and realized that she had been so stunned that she didn’t quite realize how much she was crying. James pulled himself out of Mariza and stumbled off the bed to get to Diana; his limp cock bouncing as he ran.

“Baby, what are you doing here?” he asked. “You weren’t supposed to be back home until late like you normally are.”

Diana felt dizzy and out of breath, but she had enough sense to realize what James had just said.

“Are you… fucking kidding me?!” she exclaimed. “You’re fucking Mariza?!” James sighed and held up his hands in defense.

“Diana…baby, just listen,” he began, but he was stopped when she struck him across the face. Her blood was boiling and if she weren’t afraid to go to jail, she could have clawed his face right off.

“You are such an asshole,” she said coldly. “You’ve been fucking her? And every day?! How long has this shit been going on?”

Mariza was steadily trying to pull her g-string panties back on and that just made Diana even angrier. It was bad enough that this bitch had the audacity to get fucked in her bed, but that she had to look so damn attractive while she was trying hightail it out of there was enough to make Diana want to hurt her too.

“Diana, let’s just talk about this before someone says something they are going to regret,” said James. Diana’s eyes snapped back to James. She looked at him as if he were a stranger and in a sense, he was. She did not recognize this man that was before her. He was not the man who swept her off her feet in that club. He was not the man who helped nurse her back to health when she was sick, and he was definitely not the man who went down on her for a full year just because they had been dating for that long.

“I think one of us already has, sweetheart,” she said. “Get your shit and get out of this apartment.”

James rolled his eyes. “Really Diana?” he asked. “That’s a bit melodramatic isn’t it?”

Mariza had put on her bra and panties, but had stopped halfway through to watch what was happening.

Diana looked at her former boyfriend in the eyes. “Why?” she asked. “Why are you doing this to me?” James threw his hands in the air.

“Are you kidding me?!” he asked. “I have needs Diana. You weren’t taking care of them so what the hell was I supposed to do? And after last night? I’m surprised you didn’t get the hint that I’m not happy with…whatever this is that’s between us.” Diana’s head was spinning and if she wasn’t careful, she was going to pass out right then and there.

“You’re… you are such a dick, James,” she said pathetically. She didn’t know what else to do or say. Diana went over to their dresser. Her eyes slightly fell on Mariza who flinched and dropped her skirt. Diana was glad that at least one person seemed to be intimidated.

Diana grabbed a small tote bag and threw a few random clothes into it before walking for the door. James stood there holding the door open for her still naked. There was a time when the sight of James’ naked body would have set her pussy on fire. Now, all she could feel was shame for lusting over him and thinking that he could have ever been something she desired.

In an hour, Diana was at a new apartment: Courtney’s. Courtney opened the door to see her friend in tears. Diana had called her while she was en route and spent the entire hour on the phone with her listening to what happened.

“I can’t believe he actually said that!” said Courtney as she poured Diana a glass of chardonnay which she drank greedily. The pain was still so fresh that she just wanted to numb herself to it. Fortunately for her, Courtney’s cat Loki was nestled in her lap.

“Well believe it,” she said bitterly. “You should have seen how he looked at her. I swear, I think he’s in love with her.” Courtney sucked her teeth and shook her head.

“And what did she do? Just stand there looking stupid?” she asked.

Diana gave a slight smile. “She flinched when I looked at her by accident.”

Courtney roared with laughter. “Girl, you’re better than me! I would have beat her stupid ass!”

Diana shook her head. “Believe me, I wanted to,” she said. “But I couldn’t do something like that.”

Courtney contorted her face. “And why the hell not? You had every right to.”

“Because I wanted to get the hell out of there, Courtney!” she said as fresh tears began to fall. “I was…embarrassed. And he made me feel so small.” The women sat in silence, save for Diana’s sniffs. Courtney let her hand rest on Diana’s knee.

“Hey,” she said. “I get it. But you did nothing wrong; no matter what that son of a bitch says.” Diana looked at Courtney and forced herself to give a small smile for Courtney’s sake.

“Thanks Courtney,” she said. “And thank you again for letting me stay here. I promise it won’t be long.” Courtney playfully slapped her friend’s leg.

“Would you stop being so damn nice all the time,” she said. “You can stay here as long as you need to. Hell, if you want to live here you can. As long as you don’t mind Loki sleeping on your stomach.”

Diana chuckled as Loki yawned. “I’ll get to sleep next to one man at least.”

“Well, maybe tomorrow you can sleep with an actual man. I’m taking you out tomorrow night to forget about James and his whore,” she said.

Diana shook her head fervently. “Oh no!” she said. “I can’t… I mean we didn’t even really talk about breaking up. Is it really right for me to go out tomorrow?”

Courtney smirked. “Honey,” she said. “Who gives a shit?”

Diana did not sleep well that night. She kept waking up in the middle of the night from images of James and Mariza fucking on her bed. She imagined that rather than being shocked by her appearance, they kept having sex while she watched; taunting her the entire time.

Diana was glad that it was Friday and that she would get a few days off. The previous day had been such a whirlwind of emotion that she didn’t know how she would fare today. Still, it was nice to wake up to fresh coffee and bagels.

“I promise I’ll make you breakfast tomorrow morning,” she said. “You know, if you aren’t spending the night at some guy’s apartment.”

Diana groaned as she struggled to find a way out of the night’s festivities. Courtney was her best friend, but unfortunately that meant that she knew exactly how to get Diana to do what she wanted. Diana was a bit submissive towards people and while Courtney tried to get her to break from that, she also took advantage of it.

The two women ate their breakfast before heading to work. When they arrived, Diana was immediately stopped in the hallway by Meredith.

“Oh! Diana! Glad I caught you before you got set up,” she said beaming. “Is there any chance I can see you in my office? It won’t take long.” Diana’s heart stopped for a second. She had completely forgotten that she could potentially get a promotion after yesterday’s victory.

“Uhm, sure,” said Diana sheepishly. As Meredith walked away, Courtney nudged Diana in the shoulder.

“Well, well, well,” said Courtney. “Looks like your luck is turning around already. Think she’ll give you a bonus too? If so, ask for it in advance ‘cause you’re buying drinks tonight.”

Diana giggled. “Isn’t tonight about me?” she asked playfully.

Courtney beamed. “Yes the hell it is,” she said proudly. “And don’t you forget it.” Diana gave Courtney a hug before setting her
coat at her desk and making her way to Meredith’s office. Tamron, Meredith’s secretary, was not in her usual spot, so Diana pushed into her office. Meredith was on her phone speaking excitedly to someone on the other end.

“Uh huh…uh huh,” she said. She pointed at a chair on the other side of her desk and Diana promptly sat. “Yeah…listen, I need to call you back later, but seriously let’s have dinner tonight! I’ve been craving sushi.” Meredith laughed, but Diana could tell that it was put on. Despite being high in the company, Meredith was not very good at hiding her true intentions.

“Sorry, about that!” she said as she hung up the phone. “Old college girlfriend wants to hook up tonight, but honestly, I think I’m gonna get sick around lunch time.” Diana laughed politely even though she could not imagine doing something that mean to Courtney. “So, that was some win you had yesterday. Did you and the boyfriend go out and celebrate in the biblical sense?”

Diana blushed. “Uhm…no. We uh… he’s been busy lately at work.”

Meredith sighed. “Boys usually are,” she said. “But that handsome drink of water is going to go crazy when he hears it. This partnership is huge for us and with a win like this, some changes are going to happen.” Diana could not contain her excitement as a huge grin spread across her face. Meredith giggled. “You are too cute you know that? And a smart girl like you, must have realized what that means for you.”

Diana nodded. “Honestly, Meredith, this would really do a lot for me,” she said. “More than you would know.”

“There’s that sweetness again,” she cooed. “I’m going to be excited to see even more of that in the future because I’m taking you with me to the top.” Meredith stood up and walked to the other side of her desk and loomed over Diana. “Diana? I learned yesterday that I am in line for a big promotion which means the status quo at this level is going to change.” Diana couldn’t believe her ears. Was she about to get Meredith’s job? “They are making me COO of the company. It’s a big step for me and I want you to come aboard as my secretary.”

Diana felt like she was stabbed right in the heart. “I’m sorry…what?” she asked.

Meredith smiled sweetly. “My secretary, hon,” she said. “Look, I know it’s not glamorous, but you’ve got to understand that this is a huge opportunity. Plus, most positions like your current one are going to get broken down and absorbed into other jobs.” Meredith tried to make the title of secretary sound impressive, but Diana was still trying to catch her breath. She had a M.B.A and yet here she was being told that the highlight of her life was getting to be Meredith’s secretary.

“Uh…well…” she said still speechless. “What about Tamron?”

Meredith snorted. “Tamron? Please!” she laughed. “I’ve been waiting for the day to fire her and now it’s finally here. You’ll be much better at her job and you’ll still learn from me until the day I retire and you can push for my job.”

“Until you retire?” asked Diana. Meredith pouted sympathetically.

“Well, yeah, hon,” she said. “I’m sorry, but this business is a shark tank. And you? You’re like a little clown fish. Sure, you’re pretty and good at being you, but to be honest… you’re too busy hiding to be a big player. You need time to learn to be a shark.”

Diana’s heart sank so low that she thought it was contributing to her stomach ache. Just like last night, she wanted to claw at Meredith’s stupid face and make her regret her words, but instead she just took it like she normally did.

“Yeah,” she said. “I understand. Thanks Meredith.” Meredith beamed and returned to the other side of her desk.

“I knew you were a smart girl,” she said. “Things are going to happen pretty fast, but I assure you that you’ll love the ride. I’m letting everyone leave a little early today. Maybe you can get that man of yours to take you out to a nice dinner tonight to celebrate even more good news.”

Diana nodded. “That sounds good,” she said glumly. She tried to keep her spirits up, but there was no way she was going to be able to. Life had beat her down twice in 24 hours and it really sucked. When she made her way back to the corral, after crying in the bathroom stall, the news had already spread that they were being released early from work. Courtney looked at Diana and scurried towards her.

“She must be in a good mood!” said Courtney. “Letting us go early twice? What did you do, give her head in there?” Courtney laughed, but her laughter fizzled out when she saw Diana’s face. Courtney grabbed her friend’s arm and went to the emergency stairwell. The moment they were inside, Diana told her friend everything that happened. When she was done, Courtney was, for once, just as speechless as Diana.

“That stupid, fucking, dumb ass bitch!” Courtney hissed. “Who the fuck does she think she is? COO? She must have taken credit for all the work you helped orchestrate!” Diana had slumped on the ground while she cried and smoked a cigarette, a habit that she only occasionally joined Courtney in when they were in the stairwell. Today was definitely a day to take up smoking.

“She called me a damn clown fish,” she said, her voice sounding miles away.

Courtney took a long drag of her own cigarette as she walked back and forth. “That bitch does not get away with this,” she said. “I mean, come on Diana! I’m going to be out of a job and you’re going to be an indentured servant.”

“She said I wasn’t a shark,” said Diana, in her own little world.

Courtney looked at her friend and sighed. She sat down next to her and wrapped an arm around her. “It’s going to be ok, Diana,” she said. “Tonight, is about you and getting some temporary relief from this shit show of a day.”

Diana chuckled. “Yeah?” she said. “You think having sex can do that?”

Courtney snorted. “Girl, good dick can do wonders,” she said.

Diana broke out into a half crying and half laughing state which only made Courtney roar with laughter. Diana was blessed to have someone like Courtney in her life and tonight, she was going to be the perfect wing woman to get her life back on track.

  *****

Diana looked at herself in the mirror one last time as she shifted in the tight fitting blue dress that Courtney pulled out for her. All of Diana’s dresses were still at her apartment and she refused to go back there knowing full well that James was probably having sex with Mariza right then and there.

The strapless dress was tight, but she could not deny that it was sexy as hell. It showed off her body in the best ways and in turn, it made her feel powerful for once. Tonight was about more than just having a good time. It was about showing James and Meredith the type of person they just cast aside.

Courtney came out wearing a skirt that showed off the bottom of her ass and a top that tied up in the back and around the neck. Courtney smirked as she put her earrings in. “Damn girl!” she cried. “If I played for the other team, I’d fuck the shit out of you right now.”

Diana sucked her teeth as she poured herself a shot of cold vodka to fortify herself. She couldn’t help, but feel a little nervous. Though she looked like the type of girl who would go to a club all the time, she only started to go when she was 21 and that was usually to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Courtney came up and took a shot herself and began to shake violently.

“Woo!” she exclaimed. “Girl, we are going to have a good time tonight. I do not want you coming back here without making out with at least…five guys. Or one really hot one.” Diana sighed and grabbed another shot and her clutch.

“Fine,” she said. “At this rate I won’t be able to remember anyway so fuck it. Let’s get crazy.”

The girls took a train outside of the city into New Jersey. Diana wasn’t crazy about going to Jersey since, in her eyes, all the worst people lived in Jersey, but Courtney assured her that this was where all the real men were. They walked down the streets of Jersey to a place where a row of bars and clubs resided.

The streets were filled with people who all seemed to be looking for the same
thing: a good time. The girls walked to a bar where a line of motorcycles sat outside. A few were unoccupied, but Diana could see that the men who stayed wore matching leather vests: a club. Except for on TV, Diana had never seen a real biker club and her limited knowledge made her very cautious about going in.

Courtney continued to go in, but Diana stood outside and looked at the place that looked like a real dive. “What’s wrong?” asked Courtney when she realized Diana wasn’t coming with her.

“Isn’t there a better bar than this?” she asked. “I feel like I’m going to catch something just by staring at it.”

Courtney chuckled. “Yeah, that’s the truth,” she said. “But I promise, if you want to get yourself free drinks and not have to compete with random skanks, this is the place you want to go.”

Diana sighed. “Aren’t there random skanks here too?” she asked.

Courtney nodded. “Yes, but there are less of them ‘cause most of them want muscle bound Italians.”

Diana considered it a moment. “A nice Italian man would be nice to get my mojo back.”

Courtney sighed and grabbed her friends hand. “Take your damn ID out, get your free drinks from the bikers in there and try to refrain from saying things like mojo,” she said.

When they entered, Diana was a bit more impressed with the interior. It still looked like a dive, but she could tell that it was on purpose rather than accident.

Inside, she saw that even though there was a mixture of people, the bikers definitely stood out. Courtney took Diana’s hand as she danced her way across the room to the bar. A busty redhead in fishnets and a low cut shirt pointed at the two girls.

“Whatcha drinkin’ girls?” she asked. “The ID’s said they’re treating pretty girls for the next twenty minutes.”

Courtney looked at Diana and gave her a knowing smile before turning back to the bartender. “Two long island iced teas to start!” she called over the music. The bartender smiled as she went to fix their drinks.

Courtney and Diana turned back toward the dance floor. Despite not going to clubs, Diana loved to dance. Courtney told her that her dancing was hypnotizing to men on the dance floor. Diana didn’t know about all that, but her dancing was enough to get James interested.
