Justice for Leanne

Justice laughed at her antics. Sometimes she was still so human, and she filled his heart with joy. Watching her, he realized she was still in her dusa skala outfit. With a wave of his hands he outfitted her in a pink t-shirt, black jeans, and boots like she favored when they weren’t working. He laughed out loud when she turned and blew him a kiss. He shimmered them into the bakery just as she ran into the door and into him.

“Man that just isn’t fair.” Leanne was still laughing. “But thanks for the change.”

She again kissed his cheek and then turned towards the back of the bakery where she could hear Faith talking to someone. “Faith,” Leanne yelled as she opened the door, “I am starving, and you’ll never guess what just happened.” She trailed off when she saw the man standing in the kitchen with Faith. “Spero.”

Throwing herself at Faith, she wrapped her arms around her for a hug.

Faith just smiled at Leanne’s antics. Leanne knew that Faith was expecting the hug, Leanne always wanted food and hugs when she came back.

Hey, guess what I can do know?

Leanne knew that Faith was in shock over the voice in her head.

“When did that happen?” Faith questioned out loud.

“The Higher gods have deemed me worthy of being able to communicate that way. I think it’s cool. So… sandwich?”

Leanne watched Faith burst out laughing and grabbed the sandwiches she had made for them. “Are you guys going to tell me what happened?”

“Well, Justice went to visit the Higher gods, and they had to stop the elemental magick from ruining the forest. I spoke with Mammon,” Leanne noticed both Faith and Spero straighten and tense at the name. “The Higher gods are also fixing the gate since Mammon had managed to get to it before they cut off his magick, and they spoke directly to me.” Tilting her head and her pursing lips Leanne thought for a moment turning to Justice. “Anything else?”

“Well that is certainly the condensed version.” She watched as he turned back to the other man. “Spero, nice to see you. Thanks for coming.”

Leanne watched closely Spero shook the hand that Justice offered. “No problem. Faith kept bugging me, saying the dusa skala insisted that I be here. However, she doesn’t seem too interested now that I have actually made it.”

“Oh no.” Leanne protested, “You need to be here. Within the week we are going to fight Mammon, and you are going to have to sing his soul back to Hell. Without you, this would all be for naught. Besides, I think you are good for Faith.”

Faith blushed and spoke fiercely; this turned Spero’s focus back on her. “Hush girl. You don’t know anything.”

“Really, ya’ll just finished telling me I knew everything and now you tell me I know nothing, please.” Leanne grinned wickedly. “I know I get my time alone with Justice now, if I don’t fall asleep first. I love you, Faith. Nice to see you again, Spero. And don’t look so shocked. If Mammon is contained, you are very capable of making him go back to Hell.”

Leanne showed everyone realize that she was now a presence to be reckoned with.

Leanne saw the Spero was smiling wryly, “Nice to see you too, Leanne. We will have to continue this conversation again.”

“Yep, in the morning though. Be ready for a war meeting, you guys. We will be down about eleven.” Leanne grabbed Justice’s hand and tugged him towards the door. “Say goodbye now. We are off for that time to ourselves we deserve.”

Justice grinned at Faith and Spero. “Bye guys. This is an offer I just can’t refuse. See you in the morning, where I promise a more in depth discussion on what happened today. And as soon as I can get some answers out of the dusa skala, I’ll share those too.”

Back in her apartment, Leanne watched as Justice waved a hand to light the fire; wine and glasses floating out into the living room.

She was always awed by his powers, but now she was just amused. He was flirting in his own way, and she could see that now. He wasn’t flaunting his magick skills like she’d always thought before.

Sitting down on the couch, she waited for the filled glass to float to her. Justice poured himself a glass and settled in next to her. Leanne leaned against him and allowed herself the opportunity to relax. She sipped her wine and lazily watched the fire. Her eyes began to close. She nestled her head against Justice’s shoulder.

His hand slowly moved over her arm in leisurely swipes, and she could feel herself drift off. She fell into a light sleep all the while thinking that this was a much better way to end the day than usual.

  * * * *

Justice felt Leanne drift off. As much as he wanted to just gather her up, and carry her into the bedroom, he knew that what they’d gone through today had taken a lot out of her. He was glad for this time to think about what had happened on his own, despite his wants and needs.

As he lightly stroked her arm, he thought back to the way she’d handled herself. While he would always be concerned for her safety, he knew she would be able to take care of herself as well. He was so proud of her for standing up to Mammon.

She really felt that Brimstone was hers, and that no one would take it. That idea made him swell with pride; she had really settled in. Although she was still dealing with being the dusa skala, he knew that the edict of the Higher gods had made her feel better.

Justice thought about them. He recalled their indignation with Mammon and the gates of Brimstone. Perhaps they would get more involved than he originally thought. It was also curious they’d granted Leanne the ability to mind-speak.

He wasn’t sure what was coming, but Justice knew the mind-speak gift wasn’t given lightly. She now had a direct line to not only those around her, but the Higher gods themselves. One of the things about the gift is the person receiving the gift was always able to speak to the one who gave it to them. Something was shifting, and Justice wasn’t sure where they would all land.

Don’t worry yourself Justice. The voice in his head was that of the unified court. We are not here to make things more difficult. Take care of yourself and the dusa skala. While things may shift, it will not be for the worse for you or your friends. The voice faded on those last words, leaving Justice feeling slightly more at ease then before. It seemed the Higher gods were definitely paying more attention now than they had in the past. For them to be listening to his thoughts and then instigate a conversation was already a change. One Justice didn’t know if he liked, not that he had any say in what the Higher gods did.

Leanne shifted in his arms, stirring lightly. He was unable to wait any longer, he leaned over her face. He lightly nipped at her chin, causing her to stir and arch towards him. Justice moved up to her mouth and captured her lips in a firm kiss, forcing her lips to open to him.

Her tongue stroked with his own. He caught her moan when his hand stroked over the side of her breast. Moving even closer to the center, he continued to stroke in light circles until he reached the nipple, already peeking through the t-shirt for him.

He released her lips and bent even further over her. Grabbing the nipple through the t-shirt with his lips, he sucked hard. She arched into his mouth even further, showing him this was what she wanted.

Her hands crept up around his back, her nails lightly raked him through the material of his shirt. He got impatient with the clothes, and with a wave of his other hand, he made them all disappear.

“Justice,” Leanne gasped as he settled back to sucking on her nipple, his free hand landing on her other breast to pinch that one.

He noted her breathlessness and shifted so that she was in between his legs with his knees on either side of her. He kissed down her stomach, stopping to suckle in little patches of skin, leaving red marks on her belly.

He finally made his way to her mound. He stopped just short of her, when he felt her lips wrap around the tip of his cock. He jerked, but she’d moved her hands up to his buttocks, to hold him where she wanted him.

Knowing that he wasn’t going to be able to stop her, Justice decided to play also
. Moving down to her waiting lips, he felt her with his tongue. She was already wet for him. He could taste the evidence of her desire, and he felt himself harden even further in her mouth.

As he brought her higher to the point he realized her movements mimicked his. He paid attention when they both tensed up and brought them right up to the point of no return. He removed his fingers right before she would have exploded and he felt her cry of frustration reverberate on his cock.

Justice changed positions and turned so they were facing one another. He pushed deep inside. He leaned in and kissed her, letting her taste herself on his lips; the deep delicious taste that he knew was uniquely her. He knew they were both so close. He pumped in once, twice. He felt her legs wrap around his waist, and hold him to her.

Her body clenched around his cock as she came, milking him for all he was worth. He could feel it when he coated her, giving him a deep sense of satisfaction to mark her this way. Letting her up to breathe, still inside her, Justice wrapped Leanne up in his arms, and turned on his side.

“Hmmm…” she said lazily. “I could get used to waking up that way.” She drifted back to sleep by settling into the crook of his arm.

Justice had to smile at his love.

She was perfect. Waving a hand, he moved them into the bedroom, and covered them up. This was how it was going to be from now on. They would deal with the issue that had arisen, and then go back to doing what they were created to do. Only this time they would be even more of a team.

  Chapter Fourteen

Leanne woke up and stretched. She realized that she wasn’t in bed alone. Smiling, she saw the Justice was still asleep.

Thinking back to the evening before, she realized that she’d passed out on him. But that hadn’t stopped them from having some delicious times.

He had woken her twice after he moved them from the living room to make love to her. Each time there was something new. Wanting to wake him the same way, she moved slowly down his body and watched his reaction to her touch.

Watching his cock harden, she leaned down to take the whole thing at one time into her mouth. She cupped his balls and pulling lightly. His reaction was immediate.

His whole body jerked toward her, forcing her to take him even further in. She relished this feeling, the complete control. She let up lightly, stroking down with her tongue from the tip and then sliding back up. Justice was awake now, and had his fingers in her hair trying to control the pace, but she wasn’t going to give up control that easily.

With her own magick, she zapped his fingers, and made him remove his hand. She heard his chuckle until she deep throated him again and it turned into a moan. She moved slightly and contracted her throat and tongue simulating a swallow causing him to jerk and cum almost immediately. She had learned last night what tricks worked best.

“Leanne.” He moaned when he came down her throat. “Damn it, that was too quick.”

“We are going to be late if we don’t move quickly. Now come on, you can return the favor later,” Leanne snuck out of bed, and headed for the bathroom. Just as she’d opened the shower door, she ran into a body.

“No fair,” she laughed as he beat her into the shower.

“All is fair my love, and I think I’ll return the favor now.” With the help of the shower, Justice did just that and they were indeed late to their meeting.

  Chapter Fifteen

Down in the bakery, the four friends were discussing what the upcoming battle with Mammon might look like.

“So tell us more about what happened yesterday,” Faith said as she set out scones and coffee for everyone.

She was excited to see most of the tension had left her friends’ faces, and they were holding hands. She looked over at Spero and could see he watched Leanne. Faith wondered if there was going to be a problem; she certainly hoped not. Not only could she see that Leanne was in love with Justice, but she didn’t see Justice as being someone who would share well.

Spero needed to get over whatever fascination it was with the dusa skala and move forward with being a part of the group as a whole. Somewhere deep inside, she acknowledged that it hurt to see him watch her friend so closely.

“We are not able to use the gate as you know, Faith. We transported to the other side, to discover there was a deeper magick, an elemental magick being used.” Faith listened as Justice reported in a relaxed tone. She could see the difference that Leanne and Justice’s night had made to them.

Faith saw that Spero started at the idea of elemental magick. “Wait, you mean Mammon had been able to tap into the elemental magicks? How is that possible?”

“I’m not sure how he did it, but the Higher gods have managed to cut him off from the source. When we arrived, the trees were in pain and they fought the magick so we could get through the forest. After we were through to the portal, they thickened and died. When the Higher gods cut Mammon off from the magick, they were almost immediately restored. They have pledged to fight with us in any way they can help.” Justice answered Spero’s questions.

Faith, Leanne spoke in her head. Faith tipped her head to show she was listening without letting on the boys that they were talking. Why is Spero watching me like that? Have I changed so much? What is going on? He needs to be focusing on you. This is imperative to our success. You will have to join magicks and you can’t do that if he isn’t focused.

Faith realized there as a touch of panic to Leanne’s words. Spero was making her nervous enough that she doubted the outcome of the battle.

  They couldn’t have that.

Leanne, calm down, Faith spoke back. Remember when he last saw you, you were a soul going into a broken body. Now you are truly the dusa skala, a powerful being in your own right. You have spoken with the Higher gods and that alone is something of an awe factor. He will be fine.

Faith could see that Leanne was getting impatient. Whatever was going on with the dusa skala, she was not going to wait for everyone to be briefed on the day’s happenings.

As Faith listened Leanne spoke, “I understand that you want to know everything that happened, but I do not feel that we have the time for that right now. We have to come together as a united front to defeat Mammon. We will be sharing energies with our partners, and we will need each other to get through this. It will take Justice and me both to bind Mammon with our magicks and hold him. We will not be able to help you send him back. Faith will be the one to bolster your magick, Spero. You have to believe that. I do not know what is holding you back, but I can feel the resistance. You must believe or all is lost.”

Everyone just looked at Leanne. Faith saw that Spero’s intense gaze turned to a glare. “You do not know of what you speak.”

“I do, I am the dusa skala and you are afraid.” Faith heard the difference in Leanne’s voice, as it had reverted to the monotone she had when she was in dusa skala mode. “I can and have weighed your soul Spero, and you are found to be on the line. You will have to believe. For us to win, it will all rest with you in the end.” As she came back to herself Leanne shook her head and she returned Spero’s gaze second for second.

Faith could see Spero was spooked. “I need some air,” Spero tried to rise from chair, Leanne’s hand on his arm stopped him.

“You need to believe. Faith can help with that, if you will only let her in.” The gentle words seemed to do the trick and kept him glued to his seat.

“You are not who or what I thought you would be. I do not know if I can do as you ask.” Spero spoke quietly, his words broke Faith’s heart. “I know what you seek, and I am afraid that I’ve sung too many souls to the shades of Hell. When I touch the sand on the other side I bring a part back with me. What if I have too much of that Hell within me?”

“It will be fine, Spero. We have a week to get it all together. You and I will spend some time together, and you and Faith can spend some time together. We will see if we can’t get it all pieced together in time.”

Faith saw that Justice was re-evaluating
Spero and finding him worthy. Justice was someone who deserved to be called a true friend; someone who could admit his own doubts and allow those who could help him do so.

Faith saw Leanne stand up and put her hand on Justice.

“We will come back down this evening; spend some time with Faith in the bakery, learn the town of Brimstone, and know that we are all here to help with this.” Faith smiled at her friend and then laughed at Leanne’s next words. “Come love. It is time for the dusa skala to relax. I am thinking of a bath.”
