One Night In Vegas

“Why didn’t you say anything if it bothered you that much?” she asked, surprised.

Derrick tilted his head and grinned at her. “What could I have said? ‘Hey, Sean, I’m jealous of you. Can you go now?’”

“No, I mean, why didn’t you tell me you didn’t like him?” she asked.

“I thought it was obvious. Besides, I couldn’t just be nasty to one of your clients, one of our former contractors. It would have been childish and selfish, even if he was making me sick.”

“Aww, you mean you were willing to set aside your finer qualities for me?” she chided mercilessly.

He caught on immediately that she was making fun of him, and he reacted playfully. “Now you’re being a bad girl again.”

Very quickly, he spun her around so she was leaning over the length of his thigh, but instead of swatting her, he stroked her sensually.

“I’m beginning to detect a pattern here,” she said with a giggle.

“Me too,” he agreed. “And I kinda like it.”

He’d often fantasized about wild, wicked, freaky play in the bedroom. Now, with Corrine’s delicious, picture-perfect body draped across his knee, he had his chance, and she seemed happy to play along.

“Oh, please!” she said. “I’ll be good.”

“How good, little girl?” he asked.

“Sugar and spice and everything nice,” she answered.

It was a silly response, but it caused heat to swirl in his groin, and suddenly, his clothing felt too tight. He rested his palm on one of her firm, taut cheeks. It was a perfect fit for his hand. He leaned down, and she craned her neck to turn and look up at him. Then she rolled onto her back. He continued cupping her buttocks, supporting her as his tongue penetrated her sweet mouth. They inched up together, situating themselves on the mattress. He made himself comfortable, stretching out.

When his erection strained against his pants and pressed against her thigh, she reached over to fondle him. “Is this my reward?” she whispered.

“Yes, Corrine, because you’ve been very, very good,” he replied.

Corrine’s wig fell back against the bed. She tried to slip it off, but it was caught on something, so she hopped off the bed and into the bathroom.

“Time out,” she said over her shoulder. “Sorry! Wardrobe malfunction.”

He watched as she pulled the pins out then quickly rejoined him. Her natural hair spilled around her shoulders like a waterfall in a luscious dream. “Forget the wardrobe,” he said. “You’d be beautiful in a burlap sack. In fact, let’s put that on our bucket list.”

“So, you like this better?” she asked.

  “Yep.”

“Actually,” she said sensually. “This is better.” She stepped forward, arched her spine, and jutted her buttocks outward in a striking, dancer-like pose. Then she wound her arms around his neck.

Derrick pressed his torso into her to feel the softness of her body against his, and they smiled at one another with adoration. That was not usual for most affairs, but there was something deeper in their shared gaze than either of them wanted to admit, especially Corrine. Every time they kissed, it felt like the end of a drought.

Their contact ignited their erogenous zones and released a powerful flow that ran from him to her and back again. The taste of her mouth and the delicate, wet, warm surface of her cheeks as he swept every part of her made him moan, even whimper like a baby.

Without warning, Derrick dropped into a squat, took hold of the hem of her dress, and skimmed it up and over her head. She was long and lean, with wondrous curves. He did his best to show her, but there was no way she could truly know how beautiful a creature she was.

A devilish glint danced in her eye, and she twisted around. Straight-legged, with her hips up in the air, she picked the discarded wig up off the floor. In one quick move, she bunched her own hair into a knot and slipped the wig back on. She was the other woman again.

Spreading her fingers, she displayed her long nails that looked like knives, something he found different and strangely fascinating. They felt amazing as she ever-so-lightly raked them through his hair, so intense that shivers washed through him.

Corrine pushing her breasts into him, even as they were still encased in a very severe push-up bra, all the way up to his chin. She had amazing flexibility, and her back arched to nearly a perfect C, a position that caused the muscles in her buttocks and thighs to flex as hard as a rock.

He, too, had hardened. There were so many words to describe her, but one kept coming back to mind: beautiful. She parted her knees and straddled him easily, then reached around him and pulled on his shirt. He helped some, but it was she who removed it. Derrick dutifully raised his arms as she lifted the fabric off him. She stood, her tantalizing body grazing his face as she reached. She discarded the garment easily, then sat back down on him. He growled involuntarily. Corrine definitely brought out the alpha in him.

She pressed on his shoulders to encourage him to move back. They were in perfect sync, perfectly choreographed. She rocked her hips lasciviously back and forth while they were both still partially clothed. He reached between them and rubbed her through the silkiness of her underwear, pleased to feel that she was already damp.

He found her pleasure spot easily. He had come to know her well, yet he enjoyed the fact that there was always something more to learn. Every one of their encounters felt like a new adventure. He watched with delight as she rocked, writhed, and bounced up and down, performing a spontaneous lap dance.

His hands were huge and clumsy against her gracefulness, but Derrick couldn’t resist reaching up to touch her while she was turning him on. He easily unhooked her bra, and her breasts spilled out from their satin prison with a slight bounce. He slipped the straps off her, and as she had done with his shirt, he tossed the lingerie on the floor.

She was so irresistible that he had to interrupt the seduction. He craned upward and planted his hot mouth on one soft, supple breast. Her nipple pebbled as the tip of his tongue flicked against it, and she squirmed, completely at his mercy. Corrine was a bold, creative lover, but he liked that he could turn her on so much that it made her meek, at least temporarily. He loved to give her pleasure, and her body was incredibly responsive to almost everything he did for her and to her.

He moved his mouth from her and relaxed against the mattress so she could have her way with him. She rose and made quick work of removing the rest of his clothing. Then she shimmied out of her underwear until they were both completely naked.

Corrine dived onto the bed as if she were jumping into a rippling, refreshing pond on a hot summer day. The move was so unexpected and playful that Derrick bellowed with laughter. She smiled warmly, pleased that her silliness made such an impact. Then she extended her very long leg over his and invited him to her.

He was so hard for her, and the throbbing head of his cock found her wet, hot center easily. They were side by side, each with a full view of the other, both watching as he entered her. He rocked into her like that, with their torsos leaning away from one another but still within reach. Derrick reached to her, toyed with her, working his thumb back and forth as he moved into her.

Corrine lifted her knee and fanned her leg open and closed, a move that created delicious pressure on him. He moved in and out while she moved back and forth. The sensation was unearthly, and the vision was intensely erotic. He struggled to stay with her as he was so drugged with arousal that he was almost tipsy.

He was about to lose it, but he didn’t want the moment to come to an end so quickly. He rolled over so he was above her, driving all the way inside her. She lifted her legs up and over his shoulder to give him easier access. Each thrust pushed her lower body upward, rocking again her. He was such a big man, his frame large and muscular. As amazing as she felt, though, he didn’t want to overpower her, so he tried to take it easy.

Her body was like a hotbox, a tight, silken furnace he wished he could occupy forever. He wrapped his arm
around her thighs possessively, and she pointed her feet toward the ceiling, her legs straight up in the air as his thrusts picked up their pace.

Reality wavered, and he lifted his head to the ceiling as he let the amazing feeling of being inside Corrine consume him. Ecstasy surged through his veins, and it was all he could do to keep pushing his pelvis up against her. His position offered him an amazing view of her body. He always thought she was perfect, but with her legs in the air and her body lying flat against the bed, she could not have looked more exquisite.

She wriggled free of his grasp and scissored her legs wantonly. The movement teased his hard, sensitive length. Visually and sensually, it was more than he could bear. He tried to withstand the blissful torture, to make himself last, but his animal brain craved the climax, yearning to shatter inside her with the ultimate pleasure.

He steadied her legs firmly and reached for her hand. He placed it between her sculpted thighs, wanting her to bring herself to the level of pleasure he was experiencing. It was always an off-the-hook rush when they came together, but watching her touch herself only hastened his climb. He was in agony, unable to suppress his swift, strong reaction to the sight of her. She had reduced him to a blithering, praying idiot.

  “Damn,” Derrick managed.

His body stiffened, and his movements became jerkier as he struggled to think clearly. He lost touch with reality, and he only hoped she was having as good a time as he was as he spilled into her luscious tunnel and his body exploded with complete, total rapture. He felt her tight, pliant channel grip him in sugared spasms, and he smiled, glad she was coming with him. A wave of delight overcame him as he continued to seize. She moaned incoherently, and their cries filled the room.

In a brief moment of clarity, Derrick suddenly felt self-conscious that some passerby might hear their passionate chorus, but that worry was instantly stifled when he felt her rippling against his spent erection. He shoved in short little strokes, milking the last of their bliss before dropping next to her to bask in the wonder of their climax.

Corrine’s eyes were closed, a smile curling her lips as she enjoyed the aftershocks of her pleasure. He could not stop staring at her. It was the ultimate combination to feel the way he felt and to witness her feeling even better.

He drew the sheets up and around them. They had managed to unmake the bed in their heat, so he quickly pulled the linens back into place, maneuvered himself under the covers, and snuggled next to her. He had no idea what time it was, but he knew it was late. He looked over at her and started to say something, only to find that she was already asleep with a pleasant, satisfied look on her face. Pleased with himself, he smiled, put his head on a pillow, and joined her.

  Chapter 15

Corrine woke before sunup, and Derrick stirred to life, too, as if even unconscious, they were on the same wavelength. He knew she had to head home for work. As a freelancer, she could carry her work with her, but she had been heavily busy on a major project that required her attention, and it was one of those rare occasions when she simply had to work from home. Usually, she hung around for breakfast, but the deadline on her project was fast approaching, and while Derrick didn’t know a lot about the details of it, he understood that it was a big deal for her.

Besides the undeniably hot passion they shared, they only had a vague idea of one another’s daily routine. He knew she wasn’t married, and she knew he was recently divorced. Other than that, they didn’t even crack the surface of their histories and personal details. One thing he did know was that he didn’t really like her driving so early. Vegas was all glitz and glamour, but the streets could be downright cruel, with too many people in a hurry to get to too many places. Not only that, but they’d only dozed off a few short hours ago, so she wasn’t running on much sleep.

“You don’t have to get up,” Corrine purred, always thinking of him, which was yet another thing he liked about her. She leaned over and kissed him in the dark.

Derrick wanted so badly to pull her over him and ride her into a wild orgasm, but he knew she had to go. In lieu of a cold shower, he reached over to the bedside table and turned on the light, blinding them both.

“You bear,” she softly cursed, blinking helplessly until her eyes adjusted.

“I might as well get up,” he said. “I’ve got a meeting today, and I need to prepare for it. Besides, I’d have to be a fool not to spend every possible second with you that I can.”

Corrine smiled from ear to ear, charmed by his flattering words. She was so beautiful all the time, but first thing in the morning, she absolutely glowed, rivaling even the sun that was peeking so brilliantly over the clouds.

“Look at us, both bringing home the bacon,” she said. “What kind of meeting is it?”

“New business,” he said. “Gil’s always pummeled with pitches about building new properties. There’s a joint venture that wants him to put a hotel in Los Angeles.”

“As in, California?” she asked with some alarm.

Derrick laughed. Her voice was so dramatic yet comedic at the same time. Everything was so easygoing between the two of them, and she never seemed high-strung. “I think that’s the only one, at least as far as I know,” he teased.

“Does that mean you’ll be away?” she complained sweetly. “How long do these things usually take?”

“I’ll travel some, but first things first,” he counseled. “We haven’t even signed a contract yet. It may be nothing. I mean, we hear about a dozen of these proposals a month, and Gil only signs on with about one a year. If he agrees, though, it could mean about six months of flying back and forth, and I usually have to hang around for a while to oversee things till they take off.”

Corrine’s momentary silence was a clear indication that she was a bit uptight about changes in their lives, after all. “But you’ll come back to Vegas, right? I mean, you won’t just keep moving to wherever the latest hotel is.”

“Not always,” he said. “I’ve had a house here in Vegas before. Still, besides the fact that I didn’t like my wife very much, one of the things that drove my marriage into the ground was the traveling and the moving.”

Corrine just looked at him, her eyes wide, as if some sort of terror was overtaking her.

“Baby, are you worried this is gonna be a bad thing for our, uh, affair?” he asked sincerely.

“Well, it’s just a little shocking, something I didn’t expect,” she said quietly.

“Let’s not worry about something that hasn’t even happened yet. If anything changes with my job, we’ll handle it together.”

“You just called her your wife,” she pointed out. “Not your ex.”

Derrick paused, a bit surprised at himself. “I don’t think of her that way,” he said. “It’s just that she’s the only wife I’ve ever had. Maybe that’s it.”

It was an uneasy conversation all of a sudden, the closest they’d ever come to talking about their strange relationship possibly going beyond more than random hookups. She was exhibiting the same concern an actual girlfriend might, but she seemed to like his answer. Her body, stiff with tension, relaxed when he pulled her into an embrace, and that only made him want her more. Of course, everything about her made him want her.

“Do you have time for a cup of coffee before you leave?” he asked. “If not, can I at least buy you one to go?”

“To go sounds great,” she said sweetly.

Derrick slipped into his sweatpants and wrapped himself in a hotel robe. The twenty-four/seven nature of Las Vegas meant there was never an hour too early for a cuppa joe. The Tresor had a great coffee bar, and he had every intention of caffeinating his sweet Corrine with the most complicated, expensive, exquisite latte they offered.

While they waited for the barista to froth up their order, they eyeballed the sweets.

“How about a pastry for the road, too?” he asked.

“Nah.” She chuckled, shaking her head. “I’m watching my weight, and all this restaurant food a
nd booze lately hasn’t helped.”

“Booze?” he repeated, pretending to be offended. “You make us sound like alcoholics.”

“You gotta admit we can put it away,” she said slyly.

“And as for your weight, you don’t have to worry about that,” he said, snaking his arms around her from behind. “I’ve got no problem watching your figure for you.”

“Well, I’m starting to get fat,” she said, frowning down at her nonexistent belly.

“If you’re worried about it, I know a way we can burn some calories,” he murmured in her hair.

She reached around herself to grab him, but she missed her mark, and her fingers grazed his groin.

“Careful,” he warned. “I’m liable to pitch a tent.”

“You’re too easy,” she said sensually.

“Only because of you,” he said.

A quiet fell over them, as serene as new-fallen snow, and a warmth stoked his belly. His feelings for her were not just about sex anymore. It was a wonderful sensation, but it came over him so fast. Derrick immediately dismissed the good feelings as nothing more than a rebound phenomenon, even though he loved feeling that way about her, a way he’d never felt about anyone before.

“Well, if all goes well today,” she whispered, “I’ll be in the mood for a big-time workout.”

When she turned to face him, Derrick found her almost impossible to resist. He squirmed a little at the idea that they were becoming too affectionate in public, in the place where he worked. He kissed her quickly, saw her to the lobby doors, and waited with her for the valet to bring around her car. “Drive very safely,” he said firmly, swatting her buttocks lightly.

Corrine’s eyes sparkled with mischief. “Oh, my goodness,” she said. “You’re such a tease.”

A smile spread across his face. “More of a promise than a tease,” he said.

“Really now?” she questioned, her eyes gleaming.

“You know, if you want something from me, like those spankings that always seem to make you light up when I talk about them, all you have to do is say so.”
