Taming Casanova

When he saw Jena earlier, he knew he was in the ICU. He had no idea how long he had been there. He had sensed Andi by his side for a long time. Her body had warmed him. He had tried to put his arms around her but he couldn’t move. He remembered feeling like he was choking. He remembered a huge sense of pain that seemed to last forever. When things became unbearable and he had wanted to go to sleep, he always sensed her. He had heard muffled voices and a lot of them but they had silenced.
Things had been quiet. They weren’t now. His eyes shifted to Andi. She was curled into his side breathing softly. What was that sound? He tried to move his hand but it was pinned to the mattress. He turned his head to the right. Andi sighed and snuggled in closer, revealing the pain in the ass that had awakened him. Ryan West.
“Christ, West. You’re snoring loud enough to wake the dead. Or at least a man in a coma.” He wanted to laugh at the thought but his chest was on fire. His voice was raspy and they both jumped and stared at him.
Andi sat up sobbing. She covered her face with her hands and her body shook. She cried uncontrollably. Ryan attempted to console her without success. Jena heard the commotion and came in to check on the patient. She put her arm around Andi and tried to convince her everything would be ok. Nothing was working.
“I love you.” Kevin’s voice was weak.
When Andi didn’t respond, Ryan took Kevin’s hand. “You are a sight for sore eyes, my man. Pull a stunt like this again, I’ll kill you myself. Got it?” Kevin smiled. “Andi really hasn’t left your side. We’ve had to drag her out of here to shower. Layla brought her food everyday but I haven’t seen her eat anything.”
Jena gave Kevin a kiss on the forehead and looked back at Andi. “I’m going to give her a sedative. Try to get some rest.”
“Some rest? The lazy bum has been sleeping for two weeks. He needs to get his ass up and take a shower.” Ryan laughed as Kevin tried to raise his middle finger.
“Two weeks?” Kevin whispered.
“That’s not important. The doctor is on his way up. Rest until then.” Jena injected Andi with some Diazepam. “Ryan, pull her into your lap. She’ll be out for awhile.”
“I’d like to hold her.” Kevin reached for her.
Jena nodded. “Go ahead but stay alert, Ryan. I don’t want her rolling out of the bed.” She pointed at Kevin. “And you, Casanova. Keep your hands to yourself.”
Ryan laughed as Jena stepped into the hall. “Welcome back.”
Kevin held her close. Her silky hair fanned over his chest and she smelled of fresh fruit. Her lips were in a perfect pout and her tan skin was smooth and bright. God he loved this woman. She saved him and not just during the hospital stay. Her smart mouth challenged him, her mind intrigued him, her sassy attitude kept him coming back for more. He looked forward to their next fight. He looked forward to the next time he could get lost in her. He wanted to taste her, to breathe her in. He wanted to bury himself in her and never leave. He loved her. Never in a million years would he have imagined a life with one person. Hell, he didn’t even imagine a bed with just one person. But Andi Allen had changed him.
She stirred and he rubbed her back. Once she quieted down, he closed his eyes. “Thank you God.”
Andi’s head was pounding. Her brain was swimming in a fog. She remembered that Kevin had spoken and she couldn’t catch her breath. Jena had injected her with something.
She jolted upright and looked at Kevin. His eyes fluttered open. Her mouth was on his before he could blink. “Thank you for waking up. I love you so much.” She kissed his jaw and his neck. “Please be ok. Please.” Tears spilled from her eyes.
“Shhhh baby. It’s ok. I’m here. I’m not going anywhere.”
“You promise?” She kissed him again.
“They have big plans for me, doll. I get to start eating tomorrow. I’ll go to surgery in the next few days. I’ll be the bionic man by then. You won’t be able to get rid of me.”
“What do you mean surgery?” Andi panicked.
“They’re implanting some sort of defibrillator or something.” Kevin got quiet for a minute. “Do you think if I was balls deep and it shocked me that you’d feel it?”
Andi laughed and hit his arm. “It will be awhile before you’re balls deep, slick.”
Kevin reached up and rubbed her nipple. “Doll, I’ll be balls deep the second they give me a room with a door.”
Chapter 24
“There’s my champ.” Dr. Hartley shook Kevin’s hand and winked at the rest of the group. “This procedure is fairly routine. I’ve talked in length with Kevin but I want you all to know what’s going to happen. The defibrillator has wires that connect to his heart and they will monitor his heart rhythm and send the information back to the pulse generator. In a nutshell, it’s like a tiny battery operated computer that recognizes any abnormal heart activity. It will send out an electrical shock to send his heart back to normal rhythm if it senses any abnormalities. We’ll be able to monitor him closely and will be better able to determine what action needs to be taken to keep him healthy.”
“Will this fix his heart? Possibly prevent another attack?” Layla asked.
“It won’t fix anything but we feel that it gives him the best chance. He’s not healthy enough to undergo a more invasive procedure. In general, he’s healthy, eats a decent diet, exercises. The body and health issues we inherit from our parents aren’t always ideal and no matter how many changes we make, it isn’t enough. His heart has a great deal of damage, thirty one years to be exact. Both parents died of heart related issues at a young age. Kevin is lucky. His attack happened in a crowded place where action was taken right away. I won’t get on my soap box about how everyone should know CPR. Ryan and Liz quite possibly saved his life by responding so quickly.”
“What can we do to help him?” Layla had suddenly become the spokesperson for the group.
“Support him. He needs to change his diet. We have to shift out of fitness model mode and into a balanced diet. Fruits, vegetables, protein, low carb, low sugar, not a lot of processed foods. His diet now is good, we just need to add more variety to it. Eventually, He’ll be able to do everything he did before, with the exception of tackle football or any real aggressive sports.” Dr. Hartley looked at Kevin. “Start slowly in the gym. Take small trips for modeling. If they have to be a little longer, take someone with you. You need at least eight hours of sleep a night. No lifting over twenty pounds for the first few months. You’ll be on blood thinners from now on so be aware of things that may cut or injure you. Don’t do anything crazy for the next few months.”
Kevin laughed. “Deal. No base jumping or heliskiing.”
“We’re going to give you some medication to relax. Most patients fall asleep. We’ll numb the area so you don’t feel anything. I’ll thread the wires through a vein up to the heart. All of that will be done under x-ray guidance. Once I’m happy with the placement of the wires, we’ll make an incision in your abdomen and will place the pulse generator. We’ll test it. You’ll be back in your room in a few hours. You shouldn’t have much discomfort after the procedure. You may have some pain around the incision. We’ll give you something for that. Hopefully you will go home in three days or so.”
“Let’s do it, doc.” Kevin shook his hand once more. Andi leaned in and gave him a kiss before they took him to the operating room.
“Maybe we can get him some Versed. Wasn’t that then name of the shit they gave West before the bone marrow transplant?” Mark laughed remembering the few minutes in the surgery holding area. “He wouldn’t shut up. He spilled everyone’s secrets, slurred his words, Shit, he even hit on Caleb.”
Everyone laughed. Ryan just shook his head. “Caleb’s a good looking kid. And his feet are big. I couldn’t help myself.”
Even Kevin laughed as they wheeled him out of the room. “See you shortly.”
“Get your cameras ready. That’s exactly what he’s getting.” Jena whispered and they rolled him out.
> Kevin looked around the hospital room. After surgery he had been moved to a regular room without the restrictions that came with the ICU. He smiled when he saw the door. He felt on top of the world. Either that, or he had consumed an entire case of beer. His head felt heavy on the pillow and his arms each weighed a ton.
“Mr. Merck.” The blond nurse came in and smiled at him. “My name is Hannah. I’ll be your nurse for the next few hours. Victoria comes in at seven. If you need anything at all, just press the call button. Are you comfortable?”
“Hannah.” He slurred. “Hot Hannah. I have a secret. See that door right there?”
She smiled. She always had a laugh when patients came to them right out of surgery. “Yes, sir.”
“Sir. My friend has women call him sir in the bedroom. His cock is pierced. They like that. Andi has her nipple pierced. She likes it when I pull it.” Kevin looked around the room again. “See that door?”
Hannah laughed. “Yes, I see the door.”
“Shhhh. It’s our secret. I’m gonna shut it when Andi gets here. Ride it like I stole it. Oh yeah.”
“Holy shit.” Andi came through the door and turned bright red. “I am so sorry.”
“No problem. It’s the medicine. We hear all kinds of things.” Hannah shook her head. “If you need me, push that button in your right hand.”
‘Hey, there’s a button in my hand.” Kevin shook his head. “Andi, shut the door.”
She laughed. “The door stays open for now, slick. You need some rest. Maybe sleep off that medicine.”
He pushed the button, about a hundred times. When the nurse’s voice came over the speaker, he jumped. His eyes widened and he looked around the room for the nurse. He looked so confused as he pushed the button again. Andi had to sit down. Her stomach hurt from laughing so hard. She knew he would be embarrassed when he heard the stories tomorrow. For today, she was going to enjoy it. And record it.
“Can I help you?” Hannah stepped into the room and walked toward the bed.
“You know what?” Kevin stared at her until she responded. “See that girl right there?”
Caleb and Ryan stepped into the room and Kevin clapped his hands. They both looked at each other and started laughing. “This should be fun.” Caleb sat at the end of the bed.
“Hey guys.” Kevin yelled. “Hey. Do you see that girl over there?” He pointed to Andi. She covered her face with her hands. “I’m gonna marry her. Let me get a ring up in here. Hannah can you get me a ring? Do I need to push the button again? Can I get a ring up in here? Oh man, I can’t wait to marry her. I want to do it right now. Hey, what’s this button do?” He pressed it.
Laughter rolled through the room. Mark, Sophie, Steve and Layla had joined them and heard the tail end of the conversation that Kevin was having with himself. His words were slurred and he was almost yelling. It was déjà vu of Ryan’s outburst before his surgery. Kevin was funny on the average day. Add a ton of pain medication and Versed and he was beyond hysterical. Caleb wiped his eyes as Kevin continued to push the button and harass the nurse.
“I have a lot of hair on my balls. I need a razor up in here. Where’s Victoria? What time does she come in? Does she have a razor? I need some manscaping. Why’s everyone laughin? What’s happen? Happen. Happenin’. What’s the right word? Hey, does everyone see that door?”
“Kevin!” Andi yelled to try to quiet him. Tears of joy rolled down her face. “No one cares about the door honey.”
“Oh, I care about the door.” Ryan laughed.
“I’m gonna shut it and ride the shit out of Andi. She’s so good at fucking. I’m gonna marry her.” Kevin looked at Caleb. “Come on man, that’s not cool. Not cool, Caleb. Hey, Caleb’s listening. You shouldn’t listen.” He whisper yelled. “I’m talking about your sister. Stop listening. That’s just wrong, man.”
“I have to step out before I pee my pants.” Sophie could hardly catch her breath. Her family was back together again and for once, everyone was healthy and happy. The laughter had been contagious. Despite his heart break, even Steve had belly laughed. She glanced back through the room in time to see Andi launch herself on the bed and cover Kevin’s mouth. If they were fighting, the world was at peace.
The wheelchair, along with his favorite nurse from the ICU, had arrived to wheel him out. Kevin had just finished packing his small bag that Andi had brought him to the hospital. Three and a half weeks after the heart attack, he was finally going home. He missed his little place. He missed the gym. He missed pinning Andi to the seat of his motorcycle. His cock stirred in his pants. The last few days, every time Andi came to see him, he got hard enough to pound nails. Now all he wanted to do was get home and pound Andi.
“It’s not the legendary bike but it will take you out of this place.” Nickie smiled at him. “And at your suggestion, I gave my number to Steve.”
“Naughty Nickie and sex starved Steve. Sounds like a win win to me.” Kevin sat down in the chair and waved to the medical staff on the way out.
He watched as Andi drove the Audi around. Her grin said everything he needed to know. He leapt from the chair, pulling Andi into his arms. He couldn’t wait to get home and just hold her. He had so many plans for this second chance at life. He was determined to be exactly the man that Andi Allen deserved.
He would start with a ring. Was he rushing things? He didn’t think so. They’d known each other almost a year. He’d loved her just as long. He didn’t see the point in waiting. Next, he was going to build on that property in the hills. Driving Andi to the lot, he had gotten so much more than he’d bargained for. She had said she loved him. That had sealed their fates together. He had waited for what seemed like a life time to hear her say those words. He had felt them even longer. The sex that night had been the best of his life. Seeing her spread out over the seat of his bike, soaked and ready, had been the most erotic thing he had ever seen. He had made her come so hard that she had soaked them both, the bike seat, stop! If he didn’t stop, he’d be unable to walk when they got home.
The ride home was quiet. Kevin stared out the window. Everything was a little brighter than he remembered. He reached over and took Andi’s hand. Her tiny fingers wrapped around his. “I love you, Andrea Allen.”
She smiled. “You’ve been so quiet. What’s on your mind?”
He brought her hand down into his lap. His erection strained against his pants. “I was remembering our ride to the hills. You on the bike, grinding against me. I need you.”
She didn’t say anything until they arrived at his house. “I have an idea.”
He followed her. Motioning for him to stay put, she ran his suitcase up the stairs. When she returned, he nearly swallowed his tongue. She stood before him in a white lace thong and nothing else. Her perfectly round breasts begged to be touched. Her dark hair fell loosely around her shoulders. She was much thinner. First thing on the agenda tomorrow was to feed her. Tonight, she was his.
He stepped forward, the sexual tension sparking between them both. His lips fused to hers. His tongue found hers and he moaned. He couldn’t get close enough. He tugged her hips against his. Her warm skin ignited his whole body. “I need you. Let me love you.”
Andi led him to the couch. Before he sat, she unbuttoned his pants and pulled them down his legs. She took his hard length in her hands. She had missed this. She kissed the tip and he shivered. “Sit.”
He didn’t need to be told twice. She slipped out of her thong and sat in his lap. She centered him at her opening and slid down. Liquid heat surrounded him. He wanted to explode. He shut his eyes and leaned his head back against the couch cushions. “Fuck, I missed this.”
Andi leaned her forehead against his as she rode him slowly. With each stroke, he panted. She was so wet and the sound of him sliding into her was so erotic he wasn’t sure he’d last. She stared into his eyes, biting her lip. He knew her breathing. She was close. He angled his hips and that did it. She threw her head back and cried out his name. Her legs c
lamped around his waist as her pleasure soaked him. She was so responsive and he couldn’t hold back. He exploded into her, grabbing her perfect ass and pulling her into him over and over again.
He was exhausted. His arms fell back onto the couch and he smiled. Closing his eyes, he whispered. “You are my dream come true.”
Chapter 25
“Mr. Merck, it’s a pleasure to see you again. You look well.” Dr. Hartley took a seat at his desk and smiled at Kevin and Andi. “You’ve been home a month now. Tell me how everything has been going?”
“I feel great. I’m back at work. I’ve started driving again. I have the occasional chest pain but it’s minor. The diet has changed, my exercise routine isn’t as grueling. I’m the ideal patient, doc.”
“I wouldn’t say that. He whines every morning about taking his medication. He bitches every time he has to get an injection of anything. I’m looking forward to coming back to work.” Andi giggled when Kevin shot her the bird.
“I may need a nurse to come to the house to take care of me. I’m thinking blond, just out of school, former model wouldn’t hurt. Someone like Naughty Nickie from the ICU.” Kevin smiled at Dr. Hartley. He didn’t have to look at Andi to know she was shooting daggers at him.
Dr. Hartley laughed. “It’s good to see you both so happy. Your test results all came back perfectly. Blood work is exactly as it should be. I want to see you back in one month. Stay on the same medication routine and call me immediately if you have any problems.”
Kevin stood and shook his hand. “Thank you for everything you did for me. I wouldn’t be here without you. I know thank you isn’t enough but it’s all I’ve got.”
