Reawakened: The Unexpected Series Page 16

by Roberts, S. E.

She sets her glass down and then wraps her arms around me, pulling me into her mouth.

“Thank you for tonight,” she mumbles into my mouth. “I really needed that with you.”

I caress her arm, “You’ve made me a very happy man, Ms. Greene.”

A tinge of pink covers her cheeks.

“You make me happy too, Officer Harris.”

My dick feels like it’s going to jump out of my pants, clearly not getting the attention it’s needed lately.

I set my own glass down before lifting her under her arms and then lie her back on the couch. I hover over her, and I can see in her eyes that she wants this as much as I do. Her breathing is heavy, and her desire is palpable.

“What are you doing to me?” I mumble over her mouth.

“I don’t know, but you’re doing the same thing to me.”

“I love you so damn much, it hurts.” I lean into her, deciding to show her how much she means to me. I’ve always believed that actions speak louder than words.

She moans into my mouth, and I know that she can feel my shaft poking her in the leg. She doesn’t seem to mind though. If anything, it spurs her on further.

“Take me to bed,” she whispers up at me.

“Are you sure? We can just sleep if you want.” I’m hoping beyond hope that she doesn’t want that, but I have to do this at her pace. I’d never want to do anything that would cause her any kind of regret later.

She shakes her head. “I’m suddenly not tired. Not one bit.”

She doesn’t have to tell me twice. I jump up and lift her into my arms effortlessly, and her legs wrap around my body on their own accord. I love the feel of her on me like this. Her soft body melds perfectly with mine.

I get us to her room and set her on the bed.

“You’re sure about this?” I stroke her hair, looking for any signs of doubt in her eyes. Thank fuck I don’t find any.

  “I’m more than sure.”

She starts to pull her shirt over her head, but I stop her.

“Let me. The first time I see you naked, I want to be the one undressing you.”

The heat flares in her eyes, and I know that my words are affecting her.

I lift the thin material from her body, and my heart nearly stops when I see that she isn’t wearing anything under it. Her breasts are a perfect handful, so I grab both peaks.

I lean into her mouth, and she gasps as I twist her hard nipples. I have never seen a more perfect body in all my life, and I haven’t seen all of it yet.

She grabs for my shirt and starts to work the buttons, but when she can’t get them to cooperate, she yanks hard and several of them fly across the room. I pull it the rest of the way off for her.

“Shit. I hope you didn’t like this shirt.” She covers her mouth to smother her laugh.

“I hated it,” I murmur into her mouth, pushing her further back onto the bed, and she pulls me down with her.

“I’m sorry. You were just wearing too many clothes.” She rubs at my freshly shaven face.

“What are you going to do about it, Ms. Greene?” I grab her hand, kissing the inside of it. “You’re still not naked either. I want to see all of you.”

“So, finish what you started.” She folds her arms above her head, so I get the perfect view of her amazing tits.

I get to my feet and pull my dress pants off, leaving myself only in my boxer briefs. She’d have to be blind not to notice the bulge in my underwear. If the gasp that escapes her lips is any sign, I’d say she likes what she sees.

I pull her closer to me so her ass is on the edge of the bed and first rid her of the spandex she’s wearing.

“Holy fuck.” She’s wearing a barely-there black lacy thong that just hardly covers the slickness between her thighs. I can tell she’s already wet for me, as the material is doing a poor job of hiding it.

“I bought this for you.” She smiles up at me.

“I love it, but I’ll love it even more on the floor.”

Her breathing picks up, and I don’t know how much longer I can wait to have this woman.

She sits up and grabs the band of my boxers, pushing them over my hips. My dick springs free, and I don’t think he’s ever been so excited. I look at her face, and her eyes look like they are about to pop out of her head, but then she seems to quickly relax.

Sierra grabs me and at first doesn’t move her hand, but the simple touch has me wanting to come right on the spot. She then grips it with the other one and runs both hands from base all the way down to the tip, and I know she can feel the pre cum.

“Jesus.” I lean my head back as I run my hands through her hair. “I’ve waited so damn long for you to touch me like this, but if you keep it up, I’m going to come before I’m inside of you.”

“What are you waiting for?” She scoots back on the bed and grabs my hand. “Take my panties off.”

What the lady wants, the lady gets. I drag the thin string down her hips but stop mid-movement when I see what’s between her legs. Or should I say, what’s not between her legs.

“Fuck my life.” I finish dragging the thong down her body and toss it behind me, without taking my eyes off the prize.

“I waxed for you.” She turns away shyly, so I grab her chin.

“I know you’d look perfect no matter what, but it turns me the hell on knowing you did this for me.” I lean down on her now completely naked body, capturing one of her nipples into my mouth.

She groans as she throws her head back and pulls on my hair. The sensation turns me on even more, causing me to suck harder. I release it from my mouth and then run my tongue along it before giving the twin the same attention. I’m all for equal opportunity.

I drag my tongue between her breasts and then down her flat stomach, stopping right above her perfect mound, and I stare up at her.

“I just need a taste before I have you.”

  She nods. “Please do.”

As soon as the words are out of her mouth, my tongue finds her folds, and I have to grab her hips to keep her still. It’s obvious that she likes my mouth on her.

  “More, please!” she chants.

Who am I to deny her? I continue my feast on her lavish pussy and then enter a finger into her warmth.

“You like that, beautiful?” I run my finger up and down her opening, and she screams.

“Fuck, I’m coming!” Her orgasm spasms through her body, my face and fingers now covered in her juices.

I make my way up her body to cover my mouth with hers, to stifle her cries.

She stares up at the ceiling, her mouth wide open in the shape of an O.

“God, that was sexy as hell.”

She finally catches her breath and runs her hand through my hair.

  “I need you.”

“Not as much as I need you.”

I find my way between her legs, my dick only millimeters away from its destination. She’s on birth control and neither of us have been with anyone else in a long time, so I don’t have to worry about a condom.

“I love you,” she whispers up at me as our bodies finally become one.

“I love you, too. So fucking much.” I rest my forehead on hers, needing to calm myself. The feel of her warm pussy could very well be the death of me.

“I need you to move,” she pleads as she wiggles under my weight.

At her request, I pull out before plunging back into her.

“Oh, God!” She lifts her hips up, meeting me thrust for thrust. I don’t think I want to leave this bed ever again.

“You like that?” I reach my hand between our slick bodies, and my fingers find their way into her wet folds.

“So much,” she says into my mouth.

I peck her lips and then find her nipple with my mouth before licking along her luscious neck.

I pump in and out of her, my need for her increasing by the minute. I’m not going to last much longer, and I don’t think she is either. But I’ve got all night to wor
ship her body. The body of a goddess.

“I’m going to come again.” As soon as the words are out of her sweet mouth, her body starts to convulse as the waves rush through her, her warmth throbbing around my hardness.

With one final thrust into her hot little body, I find my release, and fuck if I’ve never come so hard in my life.

“Holy shit,” she says as her breath begins to regulate.

“Holy shit is right.” I rub her cheek before pulling her into a tender kiss. “I didn’t hurt you, did I?” I start to slide off her, but she pulls me back to her.

“Not at all, but I don’t want to move yet.”

I chuckle into her hair and then pull the sheet up over our bodies.

“Get some sleep because you’re going to need your energy later.”

She yawns into her hand. “Yes, sir.” I look down at her and her eyes are already starting to flutter shut, but my dick is starting to get hard again.

I wrap her in my arms, trying to think of anything to get myself to calm down. I finally fall asleep, but it’s not long before the little vixen wakes me up with my dick between her lips.

  Sierra

It’s been three weeks since Caden and I first slept together. Ever since, he can’t seem to keep his hands off me whenever we’re together. He’s stayed busy with work the last few nights, so we haven’t seen him, but Kenzie comes over for dinner even if he can’t. The boys and I have grown rather fond of having them around.

“What time are you off?” I ask as I yawn into my hand.

“Twelve. I’ll swing by and see you on my way home to sleep.” Poor guy sounds exhausted after nearly working a double shift.

“You don’t have to. I’m sure you’re ready to crash.”

“I am, but I miss you like crazy.”

“I miss you, too.” I smile even though he can’t see me. “Since you’re off tomorrow, why don’t you come by after you wake up tonight, and I’ll have dinner waiting for you?”

  “Sounds good. Love you, beautiful.”

“Love you too, handsome.” I pull into my spot at the bakery and shut the Explorer off. “I gotta head in, but have a good rest of your shift.”

I busy myself in the kitchen, preparing for our early-morning customers by starting a pot of coffee. I walk to the door to unlock it and then continue to work on my blueberry muffins that quickly became a favorite as soon as I opened.

This past weekend was Jayce’s birthday, so we were only open a couple hours each morning so we could prepare for his party. Everyone came over to Caden’s house so the kids could swim in his pool. I could tell that he was worried about me the entire day since it was also the fifth anniversary of losing Miles. But this was the first year that I was all right. It was the first year that I felt like I could smile on the day we celebrated my little man’s day.

That morning, I spent an hour or so visiting his grave. It was hard, as it was the first time I’d gone since I left for North Carolina. It felt odd talking to a headstone, but I told him about both boys and how big they’ve gotten and how they are both ornery like him. I also told him about Caden and how he loves us and takes good care of us. It felt like the exact closure I needed. When I got home from the cemetery, Caden was waiting for me with open arms and let me have my meltdown, but then I was okay.

I hear the doorbell go off and assume it’s Claire since she told me she’d come in for a few hours this morning.

  “Hey, I’m back here!”

“Hello, darling.” Glenna. What the hell is she doing here? I haven’t seen her since she came in to get her cupcakes. I appreciated her business but still don’t care to have anything to do with her.

I wipe my hands on my apron and make my way out to the front.

“Hello, Glenna. What can I do for you?”

She sets a large cardboard box on the counter. “You know that the five-year anniversary just passed. I wanted you to have this.”

Of course, I know that. But why does she insist on doing this? This is the first year that I’ve been able to breathe since he died. Why can’t she just let me be happy again?

“I…um…thanks.” The words stumble out of my mouth.

“Did you forget?” she asks, appalled, her hands on her hips like she’s ready for a fight.

“Excuse me? Of course, I didn’t forget. I visited his grave on Saturday.”

She flips her hair and scoffs. “Oh, I don’t know. You’ve been busy playing house with that officer. I just assumed that you needed reminding.”

“How do you even know that I’m seeing someone?” It shouldn’t surprise me that she’d have this information.

“Darling, people talk. If you didn’t want me to know, you shouldn’t be flaunting yourself around town with him.”

I shake my head, “I’m not embarrassed of being seen with him.”

“Do you really think Miles would appreciate you moving on so fast?”

I gasp. “Glenna, he died five years ago. I’m just never supposed to be happy again?”

“Well, I guarantee he wouldn’t want that man stepping in trying to raise his kids.”

My heart nearly stops. That’s not what Caden is trying to do, is it?

“He’s not trying to replace Miles. He’d never do that.”

She pushes the box closer to me. “I’m sure my grandsons would like to have these.” She turns on her heels and is out the door in the next instant.

“Hey,” Claire says as soon as she comes in. “Was that…?” She throws her thumb over her shoulder toward the door, and I only nod in response. “What did the witch want?”

I stare at the box, unsure of what’s inside.

“She brought this by. Said she wanted the boys to have it. I don’t know if it’s pictures or what.”

“Jesus,” she mutters. “Did you ask for that?”

I blow out a breath. “No. I mean, I want them to have something to remember him by because we really don’t have much because of the fire, but she really won’t let me be happy. What did I do to deserve this?”

She comes around the counter and pulls me into a hug. “Absolutely nothing. She’s a bitch. Just ignore her though. You deserve everything you’ve gotten lately.” She looks toward the still closed box. “Do you want me to take it somewhere?”

I rub my hands up and down my face and sigh in frustration. “No. I’ll just take it home with me.”

“Why don’t you go home and relax until you have to get Auggie and Jayce from school? I’ll be fine on my own.”

I really hate leaving her here all day by herself, but I don’t know how useful I’d be if I stayed.

  “Are you sure?”

She pulls me into another hug. This one tighter, almost suffocating. “Positive. Go home and watch some mindless TV and eat a carton of ice cream.” She rubs at my arm. “Do you want me to call Caden?”

“No. I’ll text him to let him know I went home, so he doesn’t come here once he’s off.”

I make the short drive home, but it’s a miracle I arrive in one piece, my mind far from the road the entire time. The box sitting on the passenger seat haunts me along with Glenna’s words.

“Well, I guarantee he wouldn’t want that man stepping in trying to raise his kids.”

I’m sure it’s only pictures in there, but I don’t know if I can stomach the thought of opening it.

As soon as I’m in the apartment I set the box on the coffee table and make my way to the kitchen for a drink of water, my throat suddenly dry. I quickly shoot a text off to Caden letting him know that I went home sick. I hate lying to him, but I really don’t feel like explaining to him or anyone else why I’m upset. I’m sure he doesn’t care to hear about me losing it over my dead husband again. I imagine there’s only so much leeway for that before he decides to hit the road for good.

Caden: Is there anything I can bring you?

His sweetness makes me feel like an even bigger bitch.

  Me: No, thank you. I’
m just going to rest until I have to get the boys.

Caden: Okay, well I love you. Call if you need me.

  Me: Love you, too.

I throw myself on my bed and that’s when the tears finally fall.

The rest of the day goes by in a blur. I mindlessly get myself up and ready to get the boys from school, although I’m not sure how I do it. My head feels like it’s in a vice and when I look in the mirror, I hardly recognize myself.

I get Jayce and then make it to Auggie’s school at the very last minute. His principal is a stickler about arriving on time and had I been a minute later, I would have probably received a nice phone call from her.

“Stay here. I’m gonna go get your brother.” I turn to the backseat when I pull up in front of the entrance.

I walk to the building and immediately see my son waiting inside the door for me.

“There’s my mom, Mrs. Clemson,” he declares as he pushes his way outside.

“Have a good night, Auggie. Don’t forget to read fifteen minutes tonight!”

“I’m so sorry I’m late. I’ll try to get here earlier tomorrow.”

“It’s no problem.” She gives me a small smile. At least someone at this school is friendly.

“How was your day, Augs?” I ask as I wrap my arm around him.

“It was okay. Oh look, there’s Kamden.”

He waves at the red-headed hellion of a child. I grew up with his mom, Kacee. She has a daughter named Kyrie and her husband is Kevin. They’re just the perfect little K family. Actually, she’s a bitch and always was in school too, but for some unknown reason, Auggie likes her snotty son.

“Well, hello Sierra,” her fake ass tone is like nails on a chalkboard. She never liked me in school. Why is she talking to me now?

  “Hi, Kacee. How are you?”

The boys are busy talking, so she moves closer to me. She tucks a strand of her golden locks behind her ear with her long, red manicured nails. She’s wearing a matching red pencil skirt suit with heels I’d break my neck in. Who wears that to pick their kids up from school? She doesn’t work outside the home because her husband is ridiculously wealthy, so basically she just wants to look like a bitch. She pulls it off well.
