[24] And in the year of release the land shall be restored to the man of whom the other bought it, whose the possession of the land was.
[25] καὶ πᾶσα τιμὴ ἔσται σταθμίοις ἁγίοις· εἴκοσι ὀβολοὶ ἔσται τὸ δίδραχμον.
[25] And every valuation shall be by holy weights: the didrachm shall be twenty oboli.
[26] Καὶ πᾶν πρωτότοκον, ὃ ἂν γένηται ἐν τοῖς κτήνεσίν σου, ἔσται τῷ κυρίῳ, καὶ οὐ καθαγιάσει οὐθεὶς αὐτό· ἐάν τε μόσχον ἐάν τε πρόβατον, τῷ κυρίῳ ἐστίν.
[26] And every first-born which shall be produced among thy cattle shall be the Lord’s, and no man shall sanctify it: whether calf or sheep, it is the Lord’s.
[27] ἐὰν δὲ τῶν τετραπόδων τῶν ἀκαθάρτων, ἀλλάξει κατὰ τὴν τιμὴν αὐτοῦ καὶ προσθήσει τὸ ἐπίπεμπτον πρὸς αὐτό, καὶ ἔσται αὐτῷ· ἐὰν δὲ μὴ λυτρῶται, πραθήσεται κατὰ τὸ τίμημα αὐτοῦ.
[27] But if he should redeem an unclean beast, according to its valuation, then he shall add the fifth part to it, and it shall be his; and if he redeem it not, it shall be sold according to its valuation.
[28] πᾶν δὲ ἀνάθεμα, ὃ ἐὰν ἀναθῇ ἄνθρωπος τῷ κυρίῳ ἀπὸ πάντων, ὅσα αὐτῷ ἐστιν, ἀπὸ ἀνθρώπου ἕως κτήνους καὶ ἀπὸ ἀγροῦ κατασχέσεως αὐτοῦ, οὐκ ἀποδώσεται οὐδὲ λυτρώσεται· πᾶν ἀνάθεμα ἅγιον ἁγίων ἔσται τῷ κυρίῳ.
[28] And every dedicated thing which a man shall dedicate to the Lord of all that he has, whether man or beast, or of the field of his possession, he shall not sell it, nor redeem it: every devoted thing shall be most holy to the Lord.
[29] καὶ πᾶν, ὃ ἐὰν ἀνατεθῇ ἀπὸ τῶν ἀνθρώπων, οὐ λυτρωθήσεται, ἀλλὰ θανάτῳ θανατωθήσεται.
[29] And whatever shall be dedicated of men, shall not be ransomed, but shall be surely put to death.
[30] Πᾶσα δεκάτη τῆς γῆς ἀπὸ τοῦ σπέρματος τῆς γῆς καὶ τοῦ καρποῦ τοῦ ξυλίνου τῷ κυρίῳ ἐστίν, ἅγιον τῷ κυρίῳ.
[30] Every tithe of the land, both of the seed of the land, and of the fruit of trees, is the Lord’s, holy to the Lord.
[31] ἐὰν δὲ λυτρῶται λύτρῳ ἄνθρωπος τὴν δεκάτην αὐτοῦ, τὸ ἐπίπεμπτον προσθήσει πρὸς αὐτό, καὶ ἔσται αὐτῷ.
[31] And if a man should at all redeem his tithe, he shall add the fifth part to it, and it shall be his.
[32] καὶ πᾶσα δεκάτη βοῶν καὶ προβάτων καὶ πᾶν, ὃ ἐὰν ἔλθῃ ἐν τῷ ἀριθμῷ ὑπὸ τὴν ῥάβδον, τὸ δέκατον ἔσται ἅγιον τῷ κυρίῳ.
[32] And every tithe of oxen, and of sheep, and whatsoever may come in numbering under the rod, the tenth shall be holy to the Lord.
[33] οὐκ ἀλλάξεις καλὸν πονηρῷ· ἐὰν δὲ ἀλλάσσων ἀλλάξῃς αὐτό, καὶ τὸ ἄλλαγμα αὐτοῦ ἔσται ἅγιον, οὐ λυτρωθήσεται.
[33] Thou shalt not change a good for a bad, or a bad for a good; and if thou shouldest at all change it, its equivalent also shall be holy, it shall not be redeemed.
[34] Αὗταί εἰσιν αἱ ἐντολαί, ἃς ἐνετείλατο κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ πρὸς τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ ἐν τῷ ὄρει Σινα.
[34] These are the commandments which the Lord commanded Moses for the sons of Israel in mount Sina.

CHAPTER 1
[1] Καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ τῇ Σινα ἐν τῇ σκηνῇ τοῦ μαρτυρίου ἐν μιᾷ τοῦ μηνὸς τοῦ δευτέρου ἔτους δευτέρου ἐξελθόντων αὐτῶν ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου λέγων
[1] And the Lord spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sina, in the tabernacle of witness, on the first day of the second month, in the second year of their departure from the land of Egypt, saying,
[2] Λάβετε ἀρχὴν πάσης συναγωγῆς υἱῶν Ισραηλ κατὰ συγγενείας αὐτῶν κατ’ οἴκους πατριῶν αὐτῶν κατὰ ἀριθμὸν ἐξ ὀνόματος αὐτῶν κατὰ κεφαλὴν αὐτῶν, πᾶς ἄρσην
[2] Take the sum of all the congregation of Israel according to their kindreds, according to the houses of their fathers’ families, according to their number by their names, according to their heads: every male
[3] ἀπὸ εἰκοσαετοῦς καὶ ἐπάνω, πᾶς ὁ ἐκπορευόμενος ἐν δυνάμει Ισραηλ, ἐπισκέψασθε αὐτοὺς σὺν δυνάμει αὐτῶν, σὺ καὶ Ααρων ἐπισκέψασθε αὐτούς.
[3] from twenty years old and upwards, every one that goes forth in the forces of Israel, take account of them with their strength; thou and Aaron take account of them.
[4] καὶ μεθ’ ὑμῶν ἔσονται ἕκαστος κατὰ φυλὴν ἑκάστου ἀρχόντων, κατ’ οἴκους πατριῶν ἔσονται.
[4] And with you there shall be each one of the rulers according to the tribe of each: they shall be according to the houses of their families.
[5] καὶ ταῦτα τὰ ὀνόματα τῶν ἀνδρῶν, οἵτινες παραστήσονται μεθ’ ὑμῶν· τῶν Ρουβην Ελισουρ υἱὸς Σεδιουρ·
[5] And these are the names of the men who shall be present with you; of the tribe of Ruben, Elisur the son of Sediur.
[6] τῶν Συμεων Σαλαμιηλ υἱὸς Σουρισαδαι·
[6] Of Symeon, Salamiel the son of Surisadai.
[7] τῶν Ιουδα Ναασσων υἱὸς Αμιναδαβ·
[7] Of Juda, Naasson the son of Aminadab.
[8] τῶν Ισσαχαρ Ναθαναηλ υἱὸς Σωγαρ·
[8] Of Issachar, Nathanael the son of Sogar.
[9] τῶν Ζαβουλων Ελιαβ υἱὸς Χαιλων·
[9] Of Zabulon, Eliab the son of Chaelon.
[10] τῶν υἱῶν Ιωσηφ, τῶν Εφραιμ Ελισαμα υἱὸς Εμιουδ, τῶν Μανασση Γαμαλιηλ υἱὸς Φαδασσουρ·
[10] Of the sons of Joseph, of Ephraim, Elisama the son of Emiud: of Manasses, Gamaliel the son of Phadasur.
[11] τῶν Βενιαμιν Αβιδαν υἱὸς Γαδεωνι·
[11] Of Benjamin, Abidan the son of Gadeoni.
[12] τῶν Δαν Αχιεζερ υἱὸς Αμισαδαι·
[12] Of Dan, Achiezer the son of Amisadai.
[13] τῶν Ασηρ Φαγαιηλ υἱὸς Εχραν·
[13] Of Aser, Phagaiel the son of Echran.
[14] τῶν Γαδ Ελισαφ υἱὸς Ραγουηλ·
[14] Of Gad, Elisaph the son of Raguel.
[15] τῶν Νεφθαλι Αχιρε υἱὸς Αιναν.
[15] Of Nephthali, Achire the son of Ænan.
[16] οὗτοι ἐπίκλητοι τῆς συναγωγῆς, ἄρχοντες τῶν φυλῶν κατὰ πατριάς, χιλίαρχοι Ισραηλ εἰσίν.
[16] These were famous men of the congregation, heads of the tribes according to their families: these are heads of thousands in Israel.
[17] καὶ ἔλαβεν Μωϋσῆς καὶ Ααρων τοὺς ἄνδρας τούτους τοὺς ἀνακληθέντας ἐξ ὀνόματος
[17] And Moses and Aaron took these men who
were called by name.
[18] καὶ πᾶσαν τὴν συναγωγὴν συνήγαγον ἐν μιᾷ τοῦ μηνὸς τοῦ δευτέρου ἔτους καὶ ἐπηξονοῦσαν κατὰ γενέσεις αὐτῶν κατὰ πατριὰς αὐτῶν κατὰ ἀριθμὸν ὀνομάτων αὐτῶν ἀπὸ εἰκοσαετοῦς καὶ ἐπάνω πᾶν ἀρσενικὸν κατὰ κεφαλὴν αὐτῶν,
[18] And they assembled all the congregation on the first day of the month in the second year; and they registered them after their lineage, after their families, after the number of their names, from twenty years old and upwards, every male according to their number:
[19] ὃν τρόπον συνέταξεν κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ· καὶ ἐπεσκέπησαν ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ τῇ Σινα.
[19] as the Lord commanded Moses, so they were numbered in the wilderness of Sina.
[20] Καὶ ἐγένοντο οἱ υἱοὶ Ρουβην πρωτοτόκου Ισραηλ κατὰ συγγενείας αὐτῶν κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν κατ’ οἴκους πατριῶν αὐτῶν κατὰ ἀριθμὸν ὀνομάτων αὐτῶν κατὰ κεφαλὴν αὐτῶν, πάντα ἀρσενικὰ ἀπὸ εἰκοσαετοῦς καὶ ἐπάνω, πᾶς ὁ ἐκπορευόμενος ἐν τῇ δυνάμει,
[20] And the sons of Ruben the first-born of Israel according to their kindreds, according to their divisions, according to the houses of their families, according to the number of their names, according to their heads, were — all males from twenty years old and upward, every one that went out with the host —
[21] ἡ ἐπίσκεψις αὐτῶν ἐκ τῆς φυλῆς Ρουβην ἓξ καὶ τεσσαράκοντα χιλιάδες καὶ πεντακόσιοι. –
[21] the numbering of them of the tribe of Ruben, was forty-six thousand and four hundred.
[22] τοῖς υἱοῖς Συμεων κατὰ συγγενείας αὐτῶν κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν κατ’ οἴκους πατριῶν αὐτῶν κατὰ ἀριθμὸν ὀνομάτων αὐτῶν κατὰ κεφαλὴν αὐτῶν, πάντα ἀρσενικὰ ἀπὸ εἰκοσαετοῦς καὶ ἐπάνω, πᾶς ὁ ἐκπορευόμενος ἐν τῇ δυνάμει,
[22] For the children of Symeon according to their kindreds, according to their divisions, according to the houses of their families, according to the number of their names, according to their polls, all males from twenty years old and upward, every one that goes out with the host,
[23] ἡ ἐπίσκεψις αὐτῶν ἐκ τῆς φυλῆς Συμεων ἐννέα καὶ πεντήκοντα χιλιάδες καὶ τριακόσιοι. –
[23] the numbering of them of the tribe of Symeon, was fifty-nine thousand and three hundred.
[24] τοῖς υἱοῖς Ιουδα κατὰ συγγενείας αὐτῶν κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν κατ’ οἴκους πατριῶν αὐτῶν κατὰ ἀριθμὸν ὀνομάτων αὐτῶν κατὰ κεφαλὴν αὐτῶν, πάντα ἀρσενικὰ ἀπὸ εἰκοσαετοῦς καὶ ἐπάνω, πᾶς ὁ ἐκπορευόμενος ἐν τῇ δυνάμει,
[24] For the sons of Juda according to their kindreds, according to their divisions, according to the houses of their families, according to the number of their names, according to their polls, all males from twenty years old and upward, every one that goes forth with the host,
[25] ἡ ἐπίσκεψις αὐτῶν ἐκ τῆς φυλῆς Ιουδα τέσσαρες καὶ ἑβδομήκοντα χιλιάδες καὶ ἑξακόσιοι. –
[25] the numbering of them of the tribe of Juda, was seventy-four thousand and six hundred.
[26] τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισσαχαρ κατὰ συγγενείας αὐτῶν κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν κατ’ οἴκους πατριῶν αὐτῶν κατὰ ἀριθμὸν ὀνομάτων αὐτῶν κατὰ κεφαλὴν αὐτῶν, πάντα ἀρσενικὰ ἀπὸ εἰκοσαετοῦς καὶ ἐπάνω, πᾶς ὁ ἐκπορευόμενος ἐν τῇ δυνάμει,
[26] For the sons of Issachar according to their kindreds, according to their divisions, according to the houses of their families, according to the number of their names, according to their polls, all males from twenty years old and upward, every one that goes forth with the host,
[27] ἡ ἐπίσκεψις αὐτῶν ἐκ τῆς φυλῆς Ισσαχαρ τέσσαρες καὶ πεντήκοντα χιλιάδες καὶ τετρακόσιοι. –
[27] the numbering of them of the tribe of Issachar, was fifty-four thousand and four hundred.
[28] τοῖς υἱοῖς Ζαβουλων κατὰ συγγενείας αὐτῶν κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν κατ’ οἴκους πατριῶν αὐτῶν κατὰ ἀριθμὸν ὀνομάτων αὐτῶν κατὰ κεφαλὴν αὐτῶν, πάντα ἀρσενικὰ ἀπὸ εἰκοσαετοῦς καὶ ἐπάνω, πᾶς ὁ ἐκπορευόμενος ἐν τῇ δυνάμει,
[28] For the sons of Zabulon according to their kindreds, according to their divisions, according to the houses of their families, according to the number of their names, according to their polls, all males from twenty years old and upward, every one that goes out with the host,
[29] ἡ ἐπίσκεψις αὐτῶν ἐκ τῆς φυλῆς Ζαβουλων ἑπτὰ καὶ πεντήκοντα χιλιάδες καὶ τετρακόσιοι. –
[29] the numbering of them of the tribe of Zabulon, was fifty-seven thousand and four hundred.
[30] τοῖς υἱοῖς Ιωσηφ υἱοῖς Εφραιμ κατὰ συγγενείας αὐτῶν κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν κατ’ οἴκους πατριῶν αὐτῶν κατὰ ἀριθμὸν ὀνομάτων αὐτῶν κατὰ κεφαλὴν αὐτῶν, πάντα ἀρσενικὰ ἀπὸ εἰκοσαετοῦς καὶ ἐπάνω, πᾶς ὁ ἐκπορευόμενος ἐν τῇ δυνάμει,
[30] For the sons of Joseph, the sons of Ephraim, according to their kindreds, according to their divisions, according to the houses of their families, according to the number of their names, according to their polls, all males from twenty years old and upward, every one that goes out with the host,
[31] ἡ ἐπίσκεψις αὐτῶν ἐκ τῆς φυλῆς Εφραιμ τεσσαράκοντα χιλιάδες καὶ πεντακόσιοι. –
[31] the numbering of them of the tribe of Ephraim, was forty thousand and five hundred.
[32] τοῖς υἱοῖς Μανασση κατὰ συγγενείας αὐτῶν κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν κατ’ οἴκους πατριῶν αὐτῶν κατὰ ἀριθμὸν ὀνομάτων αὐτῶν κατὰ κεφαλὴν αὐτῶν, πάντα ἀρσενικὰ ἀπὸ εἰκοσαετοῦς καὶ ἐπάνω, πᾶς ὁ ἐκπορευόμενος ἐν τῇ δυνάμει,
[32] For the sons of Manasse according to their kindreds, according to their divisions, according to the houses of their families, according to the number of their names, according to their polls, all males from twenty years old and upward, every one that goes out with the host,
[33] ἡ ἐπίσκεψις αὐτῶν ἐκ τῆς φυλῆς Μανασση δύο καὶ τριάκοντα χιλιάδες καὶ διακόσιοι. –
[33] the numbering of them of the tribe of Manasse, was thirty-two thousand and two hundred.
[34] τοῖς υἱοῖς Βενιαμιν κατὰ συγγενείας αὐτῶν κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν κατ’ οἴκους πατριῶν αὐτῶν κατὰ ἀριθμὸν ὀνομάτων αὐτῶν κατὰ κεφαλὴν αὐτῶν, πάντα ἀρσενικὰ ἀπὸ εἰκοσαετοῦς καὶ ἐπάνω, πᾶς ὁ ἐκπορευόμενος ἐν τῇ δυνάμει,
[34] For the sons of Benjamin
according to their kindreds, according to their divisions, according to the houses of their families, according to the number of their names, according to their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, every one that goes forth with the host,
[35] ἡ ἐπίσκεψις αὐτῶν ἐκ τῆς φυλῆς Βενιαμιν πέντε καὶ τριάκοντα χιλιάδες καὶ τετρακόσιοι. –
[35] the numbering of them of the tribe of Benjamin, was thirty-five thousand and four hundred.
[36] τοῖς υἱοῖς Γαδ κατὰ συγγενείας αὐτῶν κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν κατ’ οἴκους πατριῶν αὐτῶν κατὰ ἀριθμὸν ὀνομάτων αὐτῶν κατὰ κεφαλὴν αὐτῶν, πάντα ἀρσενικὰ ἀπὸ εἰκοσαετοῦς καὶ ἐπάνω, πᾶς ὁ ἐκπορευόμενος ἐν τῇ δυνάμει,

[37] ἡ ἐπίσκεψις αὐτῶν ἐκ τῆς φυλῆς Γαδ πέντε καὶ τεσσαράκοντα χιλιάδες καὶ ἑξακόσιοι καὶ πεντήκοντα. –
[37] the numbering of them of the tribe of Gad, was forty and five thousand and six hundred and fifty.
[38] τοῖς υἱοῖς Δαν κατὰ συγγενείας αὐτῶν κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν κατ’ οἴκους πατριῶν αὐτῶν κατὰ ἀριθμὸν ὀνομάτων αὐτῶν κατὰ κεφαλὴν αὐτῶν, πάντα ἀρσενικὰ ἀπὸ εἰκοσαετοῦς καὶ ἐπάνω, πᾶς ὁ ἐκπορευόμενος ἐν τῇ δυνάμει,
[38] For the sons of Dan according to their kindreds, according to their divisions, according to the houses of their families, according to the number of their names, according to their polls, all males from twenty years old and upward, every one that goes forth with the host,
