As always with ARISEN, the music was pretty critical to producing this book (and keeping me going). This time, I’m afraid the official theme song was very definitely “The Mountain” by Three Days Grace. Everything you’re reading into that is pretty much correct. (Also: AMAZING FREAKING SONG!) I’m not doing the complete writing playlist on Spotify this time, mainly because it duplicated a lot of what I used for Books Thirteen & Fourteen (which you can still listen to here and which is still amazing) – but I have done one with the new additions, plus some of the big standouts, that really helped me get this book written.

Most importantly, and once again: as you will know, there is no ARISEN without the real-life exploits of our heroes in the military, especially in the special operations community. (Plus no western civilization to have books in.) I also almost certainly wouldn’t have a writing career without their inspiration. I explain why in my short blog post “The Operators Saved My Life”. Thanks can never be enough.
