Ilana smiled, feral and fierce, “You’re welcome to try, Warrior.”

I hope you enjoyed For the King! If you did, please leave a review. Self-represented authors like me rely on your reviews to help us promote our books to other readers. If you’re one of those awesome people out there in the Land of the Internet sharing my release dates and letting others know when I’m running a promotion through Amazon or my own website, Thank You from the bottom of my heart.

I want to take a moment and touch on PTSD and sexual abuse. I know the way I present the healing process isn’t entirely accurate. Oftentimes, I expedite the stages of grief/recovery of self. There aren’t a lot of therapists out there in my post-apocalyptic universe. People don’t miraculously get their minds steady from the love of a good man (or two) in real life.

If only it were that simple, right? Instead, learning to process and live with pain is an ongoing effort. So, I just wanted to let you know: If this is you, I see you, I hear you and I’m with you. Don’t think for a moment that the tools I use to advance a story line are how I see the world. Squared up mental health is work. Period.

What’s next? Book 8: The Secrets You Keep is the story of Ilana (the Doranos spy on Opu from Book 1: Arianna’s Alien) and Warrior Skylan AKA The Ambassador.

I also have several short stories running through my head. So, I’m going to head back for some “Life Under the Dome” stories as ‘between’ book releases like I did with ENA 3.5: Building Bridges. The first of those is Penelope & Keble’s story (5.5 in the series). I hope to have it to you soon.

  Thanks for reading!

  Reagan
