Dane was all in and so was I. I finally realized, if this was going to work, I needed to let my heart get involved and while that scared me, it also excited me. Because Dane Sullivan, knew how to get my heart racing and I wondered. If I let him all in, would it work? Could we work?

Little did I know, that the decision I made in the dead of the night to give Dane a second go—would shape the rest of my life.

  Six Years Later

I never thought that when I left Europe six years ago, I would be leaving my modelling behind. I always knew it wouldn’t last. But I never thought that I was trade my modelling career for a family.

“Dane!” I sang out, as I rushed down the stair case. Daisy, our blue English Staffordshire was at my feet. I rushed into the lounge room, to see Dane on the couch, with his broken leg on the ottoman.

Dane had been stir crazy since he has been out on injury.

“I can’t find anything,” I huffed putting my hands on my hips. “You organised the kitchen drawers, again and now our wardrobe!”

Dane’s eyes flickered to me, while our son was sitting next to him, eating popcorn.

“You sure it isn’t pregnancy brain babe?” Dane had the stomach to say, and my eyes narrowed on him. His eyes widened slightly, as he realized he was in over his head. “Okay what are you looking for?” He said, just as Chase went to get up.

Still hard to believe Chase was five next week. I was eight months pregnant and my boys put everything down to the pregnancy. Chase poked his head out from around Dane.

“Is the baby making you cross again mom?” Chase asked with a small smile.

“No the baby isn’t making me mad. It’s your dad, who doesn’t know how to sit still.”

“Sitting is boring,” Chase said as he went back to leaning against the couch.

“What are you looking for anyway, Em?” Dane said, taking my attention off our son.

“I’m packing my hospital bag.” My eyes flickered to the television and when I see that it's Dane’s team playing. I go to sit beside him.

He lazily puts an arm along the couch behind me and I curl into him. Over the years, our marriage had been tested. From my father’s retirement to my modeling career ending and Dane having injuries from football.

But there was one decision I never regretted, and that was becoming Mrs. Sullivan and giving Dane Sullivan my heart.
