Vicious Knight: A Dark Mafia Romance

“Fight little brother,” I whispered.
Figuring the water wasn’t doing much of anything, I ended it. Getting him out of the wet clothes, and into fresh pyjamas bottoms, thoughts of us as children floated through my head.
It seemed as though it were yesterday, and I would get him up for school. Our mother would already be at work when the alarm clock would ring through my ears. It would rouse me and grumbling I would stumble over to Gabriel’s bed.
“Brother, it’s time for school,” I would say.
I would tousle his hair and he would ease one eye open. “Five more minutes, please brother.”
Every single morning, he would ask for five more minutes and I would relent as I went into the kitchen and fix the same breakfast. Two eggs, and oatmeal. I was eleven years old with the weight of the world on my shoulders, but we had survived.
We could survive anything. We were of Petrovich blood. We shouldn’t have been deprived of a father, of our birth right. But we had been and soon the man that had taken everything from us would pay with his life.
I swore it on my father’s name.
The knock from the Bratva’s doctor startled me. Checking through the peephole, I found him standing there looking patiently and dressed in black. Letting him in, he immediately began to assess the situation.
I watched with arms folded from a safe distance. He had a bag with him that he went to and pulled out a bottle of what looked like a nasal spray. Looking over his shoulder he spoke.
“Your brother is definitely suffering from an opioid overdose,” he stated with no emotion in his tone.
“Will that help?”
“Yes, it should reverse the symptoms,” he gave the bottle a slight shake and then began administering.
He stood once he was finished and began to pack his things.
“Is that it?”
“Unless you plan on getting him to the hospital,” the doctor shrugged. “I have a nurse who is on her way up. She will sit with him to monitor him throughout the rest of the day.”
A knock came on the door and I crossed to open it. To my shock and surprise, I found the nurse from the hospital. Surprise played out on her face as well.
“Mr. Petrovich?”
“Aah, yes,” I said and then remembered why she was here. “Please, come in.”
She entered and removed her coat. I took it from her and hung it up. Quietly she and the doctor discussed Gabriel and then he departed. She found a blanket on the back of the couch and gently covered Gabriel and then proceeded to sit down.
“I had no idea that you…”
“Freelance,” she offered.
“Oh,” I replied.
She took a seat on the recliner and I began to feel useless. Glancing at Gabriel, I noticed the purple tint from earlier had faded.
“He wasn’t always this way,” I told her.
“From our interactions at the hospital… he seems very sad,” she offered.
It was true. There had been some sort of sadness inside of my brother for a very long time and I wasn’t sure when it had happened. I couldn’t put my finger on the exact moment when Gabriel had turned to drugs and when our relationship had suffered for it.
I began to pull on my coat and then stopped to offer Carson my phone number. “Please let me know if anything changes.”
She pulled out a laptop, looked up, and gave a nod, and then I was gone. Checking the watch on my wrist …I realized the day was barely getting started. I needed to check back in with Liam and Valentin.
Chapter 14- Simone
Ms. Porter’s face looked extremely apprehensive at my words. Just a sliver of her white hair was out of place on her extremely neat head. Usually, her bun was tucked away at the nape of her neck. She was even wringing her hands.
“Master Lucien…he would be extremely angry,” she stated.
Her eyes darted past me and to my side. I had lured Fedor inside, thinking that it was too cold outside, even for a wolf. With plenty of beef jerky, he was now sitting by my side, stiff as a soldier. His quiet eyes had simply followed every move that Ms. Porter had made.
“Master Lucien will live,” I replied.
“And what about my job?”
“Don’t worry about it!”
“Ma’am, if I lose my job…”
My hand went to my hip and I titled my head. “Lucien isn’t going to fire you. They’re calling for a terrible winter mix outside. Go home. I’ll handle dinner for us.”
She turned and picked out the curtains. There was definitely ice beginning to fall. It seemed to click against the window like someone was throwing pebbles against it. The moment she relented, I knew. The tension in her shoulder slipped out.
“I’ll be back first thing in the morning,” she said sternly.
“And I’ll be waiting,” I grinned.
“Have a good evening dear,” she pulled on her coat.
Her kind eyes smiled in my direction but they darted to Fedor who had begun sniffing around the kitchen. She edged by and went out the side entrance of the kitchen. He looked up at the sound of the door slamming shut and then looked at me.
“Guess it's just us Fedor,” I stooped down and he came over.
Calmly, I scratched behind the wolf’s ears. He was in heaven and almost seemed to coo. It was strange because I had always wanted a dog but my mother had never let me have one. Now I had Fedor, a wolf to keep me company for as long as I occupied this place.
Standing up, I looked around the kitchen once more. After washing my hands I peered into the fridge and pulled out the vegetables and the meat. It had been ages since I had cooked for anyone. I myself lived on a diet of fast food. The greasier the better.
The knife moved mechanically in my hands as the carrots, onions, and celery were chopped into a colorful mixture. Gently, I scooped up the medley and dumped it into a pot of broth that was already simmering.
I cut off a small chunk of meat and tossed it to a waiting Fedor. “Don’t tell your master.”
“Don’t tell your master what?” Lucien’s dark and husky voice filled the room.
I didn’t’ want to look up, so I didn’t say anything. Heat was starting to fill my body and it wasn’t coming from the stove either.
He was suddenly behind me then. The smell of his cologne surrounded me. There was also the unmistakable smell of vodka. “I asked you a question.”
“I was being silly,” I replied.
He turned me then and forced me to look up into his eyes, my hand was still clutching the knife. Once again, the thought of stabbing him edged on the outer recesses of my mind.
“Little Angel,” he replied. “I can see where your thoughts go. There’s a little bit of darkness in you. I’m going to fuck it out you, I swear it on my life.”
His words sent a chill through me.
He had this effect on me.
I’d been celibate until….
Until he’d fucked you senseless ups against a glass window like a total slut, I thought.
“You should keep your dick to yourself…” I replied, still gripping the knife. “I’d hate for your appendage to wind up in the stew I’m making.”
He laughed and it rumbled through my stomach. I don’t think my words had turned him off in any capacity. In fact, if anything, they’d made him hard. Slowly, he began to grind into my stomach. He was thick and hard.
There was no exit I would get near and it didn’t matter.
Lucien grabbed my wrist and squeezed hard. The knife clattered onto the cutting board and my eyes went wide. My mouth parted and I waited.
“Such a pretty little mouth,” his fingers came up and teased along the edges.
I tried to bite him but I wasn’t quick enough. He grabbed my neck and only slightly squeezed. Lucien’s eyes had gone dark with desire. I hated that I wanted to know exactly what he was thinking.
Only, I did know what he was thinking.
“I’m going to make you gag, Little Angel. Put that pretty l
ittle mouth of yours to use. Finally, get you started on paying off your brother’s debt,” he spoke.
“I’ll bite your dick off before it I…”
“You’ll drink what I offer, Little Angel….and you’ll lick me from your lips like it’s ambrosia,” he stated.
With no warm he ripped the t-shirt I wore from my body. I could hear the soft snores of Fedor off in a corner somewhere. He wouldn’t be of any help, not that I thought he would stop his master. Lucien was determined.
His hands gripped my breast that were encased in the lace nude-colored bra I wore. It became shreds and an unexpected pile on the floor. He darted his head down and licked my exposed nipples.
Ice.
They turned as hard as ice, and all I could do was hiss in both pleasure and pain as he rolled my nipples in his hands.
“I think they look like perfect berries,” he admired them before sucking them into his mouth again.
My hand went to the back of his head to hold him them. He lifted only for a moment to take me in and then went back to suckling.
Fuck, I thought.
I wanted this to happen.
I was becoming desperate and needed to be fucked.
Hard.
“The food,” I found myself breathing out the words.
He stopped and stared down at me. His eyebrow was raised, and I took his eyes in. They were still dark with passion. Lucien was starving alright, but it wasn’t for a stew.
He pushed away from me and went to the stove. The distinctive click of the stove dial being turned hit my ears but before I could register he was back. His thick fingers undid the snap of my blue denim jeans within seconds.
“I’ve been thinking about this all day.”
He pulled his own pants down and his dick sprang into view. Hard and lined, thick with angry veins and tinted cherry. Lucien was ready to fuck my brains out. Before I could think much more, he had picked me up and pulled my legs around his waist. Gasping for air almost immediately, he entered my body over and over again.
All I could do was grip onto him.
Sweat began to slicken my body.
Suddenly, we were in the doorway of the kitchen and my back was braced against the wall; my legs were wound around his neck as he began to lick and kiss all over. He stopped for just a moment and I could see that his hand was wrapped around his member.
He was ever so slowly working himself up and down. It was slow and delicious. He slid back up the length of my body and once again entered into my pussy.
“You’re so fucking thick,” I moaned.
A small laugh escaped him.
“You’re tight...”
My hands danced from his muscled shoulders until they were gripping his neck, pulling him in as close as I could. My legs locked back into place, with the heels of my feet digging into his back. I couldn’t think. All I could do was feel.
With a roar, he exploded inside of my body.
The energy from Lucien’s final thrust, caused me to scream out and bite down on his shoulder. A tiny tinge of copper hit my tongue as white light exploded behind my eyes.
Our sweat slickened bodies almost seemed to pop apart. The smell of sex lingered on the air and Fedor’s soft snores continued.
“Don’t think this is going to keep happening,” I mumbled.
We began to hunt for our clothes. As I tried to find another piece of ruined clothing, he stopped me.
“No…”
“What?”
“I’m going to fuck you again once we head to our bedroom…walk there naked…and before you protest Simone. I won’t tell you twice.”
Any smartass comes backs that I was thinking of lighting him up with died on the spot. I rolled my eyes and turned to walk from the room.
“I think your men are walking around.” Looking back over my shoulder. “I guess I’ll let them see what you seem to have become so fond of and so quickly.”
Darting from the room, I decided to play a game of hide and seek.
Maybe I’d let him catch me.
And maybe, I wouldn’t.
It also hadn’t escaped me that he’d called it our bedroom. The Vicious Wolf was letting his guard down with me.
Chapter 15- Lucien
I had lost control.
I’d drank too much and the only thing I’d wanted was to fuck all my problems away. Simone was the only peace I found lately. Touching her made me weirdly calm.
Weirdly happy.
Walking into that kitchen and seeing her cooking…it had driven me mad. I’d had plans to simply come in and say hello but the urge to be inside of her had hit me out of nowhere.
“Little Angel!” I bellowed out rounding the corned.
I’d given my men the night off to go home to their families. I’d come to give Ms. Porter the night off and had found Simone instead. Her hands trimming meat that had never even gotten cooked.
A flash of bare skin caught my eye and I was sure that it was Simone. She was running naked as the day she was born throughout my house without a care. A smirk appeared on my face as I bellowed out her name again in a singsong way.
She never answered and as I rounded the corner, I found that I had two options. A door to the left and a door to the right. The door on the left would have been the better choice as the other room was a storage closet.
“Little Angel.”
Easing the wooden door open, I found her standing in the middle of a window. Bare assed and waiting for me. She glanced over her shoulder, the soft light from the hallway illuminating her.
“Took you long enough,” she chuckled.
I was already peeling my clothes from my body.
The need to have her again filled me. To have her pinned down on the floor of this empty bedroom while I fucked her into oblivion. This shit was dangerous, and I knew it.
But I had to do it.
It was as if some invisible hand was guiding me towards her. The moment I slipped into her waiting warm and felt how wet she was with me, I nearly came.
“I…oh my GOD!”
Her screams of passion filled my ears, and her fingers clawed at my back. We almost seemed to have become one body. Sweat one again began to bead off the both of us.
Simone’s eyes were closed and her mouth parted in a perfect, ‘O.’
My grunts filled the room until finally, I climaxed. This time I came inside of her.
“Fuckkk!!! I’m cum….”
I roared as I spilled into her waiting body. It occurred to me exactly what I’d just done the moment I’d just done it. Every time we’d been together, I’d tried to avoid possibly giving her a child.
Rolling away from Simone, I tried to catch my breath.
“Damn,” she said out of breath. “After years of not doing it with anyone…”
I looked over, biting my lip before turning my gaze to the ceiling. Shadows had begun to bend and twist on the ceiling from the lights outside. Somewhere inside of the house, Fedor had begun howling.
“Damn it,” she said getting to her feet. “I completely forgot about him….OMG and the food!!!”
Before I could call Simone back, she had already dashed from the room. I didn’t move to go after her but instead pulled my clothes back on a second time and headed to my office to drink. I had been drinking earlier, but now I had yet another reason to drink. Fathering a child at this moment in time had not been part of the plan.
Fiddling with my phone, I looked up the nearest pharmacy. Simone was going to require some Plan B.
A kid was out of the question.
Next time, use protection, a little voice declared inside of my head.
Chapter 16- Simone
Winter weather had decided to clear up. The sun was out and shining although, and the Windy City was living up to its name. I’d called a short staff meeting for Tainted Ink and wanted to meet up with the gang for a few reasons. Valentine’s Day was fast approaching, and I knew it could be a record-breaking month for us if we started advertis
ing and running deals immediately.
I needed to put my shop back into the forefront of my mind. Although, flashes of Lucien’s skin and the way his mouth had kissed all parts of my body were lingering on the fringes of my imagination.
With a Starbucks frappuccino in hand, I took a deep sip before stepping into the shop. The bell above the door announced my presence and everybody turned around. They were all here and waiting.
“Morning guys,” I smiled.
Everyone smiled and said hi back.
Hanging up my coat, I turned back to them and got right back to it. This month, I was going to be driving upselling like no one’s business. Mallory, ever prepared and with a new colorful hairdo started handing out sheets of paper.
“I’m not a good salesman,” Ax stated.
“Well, you better remedy that,” I replied. “If you need pointers guys, Miguel is second in command here. Take advantage of his knowledge. Anyway, that concludes the meeting and right on time.”
Glancing at the clock on the wall, I saw that it was time to open the door. The shiny black long hand had just landed on twelve. Mallory went over to unlock the door and in walked a customer. I was heading to the back when she called me.
“Boss.”
I turned to meet her gaze just in time to see that it was a delivery person already on their way out the door.
“Yeah?”
“These are for you.”
You could have heard a pin drop in the shop as all eyes turned on me. There was another bouquet of roses set waiting on the front desk where Mallory sat. Before I could get to her, Miguel was there with the other boys reading the card out loud.
“Little Angel… for behaving… You’re President Snow?” Miguel looked up with a quirked eyebrow.
“Oh, shit boss, you must be into something kinky,” Brandon replied.
He had his dreads pulled up into a man bun and the urge to knock them down left my palm itching.
