Life's Fare

She shook what might have been her head and sighed as She went around the break-out groups to facilitate in case there were any issues cropping up, or anything was unclear. It was obvious that none of the gods had come up with anything that looked remotely feasible to keep Umhlabathi sustained for another few weeks at the rate all the moving things were multiplying at down there; this was going to be a tough one. Maybe it might be best if She just left it to the creatures on Umhlabathi itself to sort this one out, She mused. Then She had An Idea.

“Or maybe it would be easier if I just squished it all up into a smaller, multi-coloured ball, rolled it out into a long sausage, then just joined the ends together to make a nice big ring?” She said out loud to Herself, once out of ear-shot of any of the break-out groups. “Trouble is, what would happen to all those moving things down there?” She paused in a thoughtful manner, then gave what could almost have been a shrug.

“Not to worry, I could always start again, after all, it only took me six days to create it all in the first place.”

She decided to put her latest proposition into the system to see what The Management would think of yet another CRAP idea. Who knows, She thought to Herself, they might like this idea best of all – it could mean a promotion for Her.
