“I love you, Simon.” She said the words as she sank her teeth into his bottom lip knowing full well it would make him lose control.
“Oh my Goddess, Kenzie. You are going to be the death of me.” He grabbed her hand and spun them around, all but dragging her from the room as Calder entered it. The man started to say something, but he must have clued into the idea that now was not the time for chit chat and instead chuckled as he turned to his son.
At the door to his office Simon pressed his thumb on the pad to unlock the door and nearly took the damn thing off its hinges trying to get in fast enough.
“What happened to ten minutes,” she teased, loving him more with need rigid in every muscle of his body.
He whirled and pressed her against the nearest wall. There were no more words as their hands ripped at each other’s clothing. In less time than it took her to take a deep breath, he had her in the air with her legs wrapped around his waist as he buried himself inside her in one demanding to be let in thrust.
Streaks of pleasure whipped through her as all thoughts of babies, research, and DNA fled from her mind as the pent up emotions from the long day broke free from her hold.
“Mine to love,” Simon snarled as he bit at her ear lobe, neck and shoulder. “Forever.”
“Yes,” she cried as he began pounding inside her. The sheer primal force of him taking her like this brought forth every wild instinct she often kept bound as she reveled in his possession.
Dizzying pleasure surged through her as he worked his magic with every rasp of his hard flesh against her sensitive bud. She wanted to speak, say something profound, but found she could barely breath as she instead scraped her nails at his shoulders to pull him closer.
The feel of his lips first nuzzling her bare breasts before his lips clamped down on a nipple sent her careening over the edge as pure heat surged through her. Hers. His. It didn’t matter. She only knew they were both falling together and it was the best feeling in the world.
If he ever asked her to give him a baby and he could actually make it happen, she would never say no. There was nothing in this world she wanted to refuse him. Not when he gave everything he had in this world to those who needed it. Especially her.
“Stop it, Kenzie,” he grumbled as his fingers ran lazily across her bare bottom as she laid sprawled on top of him on his office couch.
“I’m not doing anything.”
“Sure you are. You’re thinking so hard I can practically hear it.”
She hadn’t projected her thoughts into his mind, but he had a knack for knowing when her mind was working against her.
“Whatever it is we’ll figure it out together. No more secrets either, okay?”
She really liked the sound of that. Plus, she was getting sleepy and wanted nothing more right now than the heat of her mate at her chest and the sound of his heartbeat at her ear as she slept. Life didn’t always have to be complicated. Sometimes it was just meant to be about the little things.
“Okay, Simon. Whatever you say.”
