My smile widened and I accepted the hand offered to help me from the car.

Without bothering to gather my bags, I was led to an elevator in the center of the building, Gage maintaining distance between our bodies as we were whisked to the penthouse on the top floor. He was teasing me with secretive glances and by denying me his touch. I was desperate to go to him.
