  He sat down on the mattress, his fingers working her shoes free, his hand slipping her ankle from the heel, dropping the delicate shoes onto the floor. Then he climbed up her body, his hands on both sides of her, lingering but not touching.

  Eliza leaned up, her fingers caressing his chest, pulling the shirt from his trousers. "Will you undress for me?"

  He would grant her that one simple request. "Yes." He backed off her form, moving slightly away as he removed his shirt, not caring that his clothes hit the floor. His trousers followed before he returned to her. They were nowhere near finished. If he could spend all day and night curled in her embrace, he would never get up from the bed again.
