“I can’t believe we both fell asleep!” Tanya fumed. Her heart was pounding. There was nothing they could do to save her friend but the least they could have done was to be there for her.
Within minutes, they arrived outside the court and stormed in. “It’s through here,” Sanjay led the way through a corridor. Just then the door opened, and people started piling out.
“Oh no!”
They made their way inside and stopped at the sight of Aria being taken away.
On the opposite side of the city, Diaz opened her eyes.
“What! Where am I,” she looked around. There was total darkness.
“What the hell is this!” She tried to get up but fell down. Her legs were tied. No! she panicked. The room was completely dark. Her screams rang in the night, falling in deaf ears.
The Next Chapter: What Happens Next?
Already overwhelmed by the disappearance of Diaz, Aria is trying to tackle each day as it comes. The prison life keeps getting tough. Just when she thinks she got a hang of it, an enemy emerges. It feels like someone is hellbent on getting rid of her. A familiar face arrives, giving her a sense of hope. But she can’t possibly trust anyone, can she?
Detective Sanjay keeps going in circles. The case has been consuming him for months. Even with Tanya and Clark with him, things just keep on getting messier; making him wonder if those two are really helping him or misleading him. How can he help Aria when everyone seems to be a step ahead of him?
Clark is struggling to move on. He has a big decision to make. Will he make the right one?
