  About the Author

  Nikki Jacks has always been a reader. From Nancy Drew to The Baby Sitters Club, Nikki would never be seen without a book in hand. Finding her mom’s stash of romance novels at a very early (too early some would say) age, Nikki fell in love with stories where love conquered all.

  After completing her bachelor’s degree in history, Nikki’s husband and sons encouraged her to start telling her own stories.

  Thanks to the 13th Jewel Contest sponsored by the Silver Springs authors, Nikki got her chance to write her first book.

  Happily married with two sons, Nikki does many things by day. She is the registrar for a local middle school and an adjunct faculty member for a growing university.

  Evenings and weekends are spent plotting her next books and furiously reading all her favorite authors new releases.
