About the Author
Robin Elizabeth Kobayashi writes about love and the eccentricities of life in a historical context. She takes delight in the sublime and the ridiculous, the extraordinary and the everyday, the magical and the mystical, and the wisdom that can be extracted from it all. Her current passion is reimagining the lives and destinies of some of the peripheral characters from Jane Austen’s world, including here, the curiously evasive and opaque character of Colonel Fitzwilliam from Pride and Prejudice. During the day, in her more serious moments, she works as a senior legal writer and editor for a leading global publisher and provider of information and technology committed to advancing the rule of law around the world.
