Mick Sinatra: Ice Cold Love

by Mallory Monroe

But Mick didn’t have time for greetings. He hurried across that room to Uri and grabbed him up, then he took his fist and knocked him senseless.

Uri stumbled backwards when Mick hit him, but Mick didn’t let up. He beat the shit out of Uri. And although Uri had been smiling with Roz, he realized quickly that Mick was no joke. He was beating Uri harder than he thought a human being could hit. So hard that it was Uri, not Roz, who was screaming for help. And he was screaming from the top of his lungs. “Help me!” he screamed. “Somebody help me!”

But Mick wasn’t about to let up. He saw that man grab Rosalyn’s hair. He saw that man attempt to lay his filthy mouth on her mouth! He threw Uri across that dressing room again, and with such force that Uri ended up slamming against the couch. Mick hurried over, put one knee on that couch, and began beating Uri even harder. Even Roz was amazed at how hard he was hitting him. So hard that Mick’s licks sounded like a cleaver beating meat. That hard.

But Uri’s screams had gotten the attention of Security, and two guards ran into the room, along with some of the crew from the production team who was hanging out in the hallways.

But when both guards saw who was beating Uri down, they hesitated. Unlike Uri, they knew who Mick Sinatra was. Unlike Uri, they weren’t about to get in that mobster’s crosshairs. They backed up.

But the members of the production crew weren’t as verse in who was beating down the well-liked actor and was upset that the guards weren’t doing their jobs. But when Mick threw Uri off of the couch onto the floor, and began stomping him with his big, expensive-looking dress shoe, they were appalled. And they knew somebody had to act.

They were reluctant to get involved with any fight, but they ran to the aid of the now defenseless actor and tried to push Mick away from him.

“You can’t do that, sir,” one of the crewmembers said. “What’s wrong with you?”

But Roz took exception to their umbrage. “What’s wrong with him?” she asked. “That perv tried to rape me and you’re upset that my husband didn’t let him? Get out,” she angrily ordered, “and take that pile of shit with you!”

The crewmembers, who knew that Roz was still the star of their show, did as she said. With the help of the guards, they took a badly beaten Uri out of her dressing room.

When they were gone, Mick, breathing heavily after such an exhaustive beatdown, looked at his wife. “You okay?” he asked her between breaths.

“I am now,” she said and smiled. “That’s what I call a beat down,” she added as she moved toward him.

Mick gave her one of his rare smiles. Then she wrapped her arms around him, and looked up at him. “Thanks for coming,” she said. “You take no prisoners, do you?”

  “None,” Mick said.

“Thanks for dropping by,” she said. “Your timing was right on time.”

Mick pulled her to him and wrapped his arms around her too. “Anytime,” he said.

But inwardly he still wanted more of Uri. And if those witnesses would not have shown up, he would have finished the job. He would have killed his ass.

  CHAPTER NINE

Joey’s Charger flew through the streets of Philadelphia as if it had wings. Gloria, who sat on the front passenger seat, was holding onto the clothes handle and begging her younger brother to slow it down. “Don’t kill us, Joey!” she kept pleading with him.

“I got this,” Joey kept saying as he turned a corner so fast that both of them swerved with the car. “We need to catch him before he leaves the airfield.”

“We need to get there alive,” Gloria said. “That’s what we need!”

“Stop being such a baby,” Joey responded with a grin. “I got this, aw’ight?”

Gloria rolled her eyes the way she always did when her brother tried to speak in street vernacular. Even though their father had been an absent parent, he was not a financially neglectful one. Both of them, thanks to his largess, were born with silver spoons in their mouths.

“See,” Joey said when they finally arrived at the airstrip on the outskirts of Philadelphia. “Dad’s plane is here, so we made it on time. And guess what? We arrived alive.”

“No thanks to you,” Gloria said as she unbuckled her seatbelt.

She and Joey got out of the Charger and made their way to the idled plane. A black SUV was there for transport, but it wasn’t their father’s Escalade, which surprised them both. “Maybe it’s in the repair shop,” Gloria said.

“Don’t be stupid,” Joey said. “Escalades don’t need repairs. At least not the kind Pop drives.”

Gloria shook her head. “Now what you just said? That’s stupid!”

But their bickering didn’t negate the urgency of their mission. And before both of them knew it, they started thinking about why they were there again, and it made them run.

When they arrived on the plane, the crew chief was walking toward them. “Glo? Joey? Hello. Is everything okay?” he asked them.

  “Where’s Pop?” Joey asked him.

“He’s in the back,” the crew chief said. “But is everything alright?”

But Joey and Gloria both was already running toward the back of the plane before he even finished his question.

They knew what he meant by the back. Their father was in his bedroom. That was probably why the plane was still idling: he might have still been asleep.

“I didn’t even know he was out of town,” Gloria said.

“Me neither,” said Joey. But his phone was turned off and when they contacted the office, Blair Conyers told them that he had been out of town, but would be landing within a half hour. That was why they hurried to the airstrip.

But as soon as they made it up to the closed bedroom door, they heard noises. And they immediately stopped in their tracks. Not because those noises were snoring sounds. But because they were sex sounds. Undeniable sex sounds down to the moaning and groaning and the springs of the bed creaking.

Joey and Gloria looked at each other. “Now you believe me, though?” Joey asked.

“But it can’t be,” Gloria said.

“What do you mean it can’t be? Ma’s in New York rehearsing, so you know he’s not with her. And we can’t find Nikki.”

“What are we gonna do? He’ll never forgive us if we bust in on him. But we gotta tell him.”

“You gotta tell him,” Joey said. “He might beat your ass, but he’ll kick mine!”

Gloria was frustrated. Their father was on his plane making love to somebody in that bedroom. They knew it wasn’t Roz. As far as they knew, she was still in New York rehearsing. And Joey was right: Nikki was missing too. But Teddy!

She knocked on the door. Fuck it, she thought. They had to find their brother!

Joey, however, backed up and looked at his sister. He knew they had to do it, but he was startled that she did it.

Inside the bedroom, Mick was deep inside of Roz when the knocking first began. And he ignored the shit out of it. Because being with his wife felt too good. They were naked in bed, and he was on top of Roz grinding on her in such a slow, wonderful rhythm that he knew he couldn’t stop even if he wanted to.

But he didn’t want to. And she didn’t want him to, either. They were lost in each other. So much so that they were on the verge of cumming. But they wanted to string it out as long and as hard as they could. And Mick, to both of their undying gratefulness, was the master of the string.

He kept his dick moving in and almost out of her in such slow, steady strokes that they could hardly believe how good he could control it. And even as more knocks could be heard, they ignored those too. Because it felt too good. Because they were so close to the edge that they were just about to cum over. But Mick kept pulling them back. He didn’t want it to end.

But when he leaned down and began sucking Roz’s breasts, too, it was over for Roz. The sensations overtook her as his sucking and fucking intensified and she couldn’t wait another second.

She came. Hard. She was panting as she came.

  Mick watc
hed her cum. He watched her as if he was proud of his handiwork. But when she began biting her lower lip, and when a string of her hair flopped down over her gorgeous, dark face, he knew he couldn’t hold on another second either.

And he came. Harder than even Roz came. He strained his entire body cumming. That was how good it felt.

But as he poured into Roz, and as they took in the wonderful elation of being in love, and in bed with exactly the person they wanted to be with, the knocking became more desperate and his anger flared.

“I’ll be gotdamn!” he yelled loudly and rolled off of Roz. “Who the fuck is it?!”

There was a hesitation. The fear factor, Roz knew. Then the voice spoke up. “It’s us, Daddy.” Mick looked at Roz. Both were shocked that it was Gloria’s voice. And when she said, “it’s Teddy,” they both jumped out of bed.

Mick grabbed his pants and quickly began putting them on, while Roz grabbed the bedspread and wrapped it around her naked body. Mick hurried to the door and flung it open. They knew something was wrong if Gloria was on their plane. They knew something was wrong as soon as she notified them that she was there because of Teddy.

“What about Teddy?” Mick asked her. He was surprised that Joey was there too.

Joey, however, was surprised that Roz was Mick’s fuck partner. He just knew they had busted their father on one of his escapades. “Ma?” he asked with shock in his voice.

“What about Teddy?” Roz asked anxiously.

“We can’t find him,” Gloria said to both her father and stepmother.

  “What happened?” Mick asked.

“I was supposed to meet him at his house,” Joey said. “He sounded like he was real upset with me, so I asked Glo to go with me over there, to help keep him cool. But when we got there, his house was torn upside down, and there was blood on the floor, too. But no Teddy.”

Mick’s heart dropped. So did Roz’s. “Blood?” she asked.

“There was blood on the floor, yes, ma’am,” Joey said. “We tried to call Pop right away, but his phone wasn’t on.”

Mick knew that was true. He turned off his phone when he first got Roz naked.

“Blair told us where we could find you,” Gloria said.

“Did you contact the team?” Mick asked Joey as he hurried to put on his shirt and Roz grabbed her clothes and hurried to the bathroom.

“I alerted Tate and Pauley and all of’em,” Joey said. “I told them to hit the streets to find him. I told Intel to get on the phones too. Everybody’s working it,” he added.

“What about Nikki?” Mick asked as he dressed.

“We can’t find her either,” Gloria said.

“We thought she was with you,” said Joey.

“Why would she be with Mick?” Roz asked as she came out of the bathroom in her smock dress she had quickly put on.

Joey looked at Gloria, but Gloria only frowned. Why was he trying to rope her into his crazy conspiracy?

But Mick nor Roz were concerned about that. They wanted Teddy safe! “Did you trace his steps?” Mick asked Joey.

“Yes, sir,” said Joey. “Hector Morales arrived from Spain today, and he and Teddy apparently met.”

  “Without you?” Mick asked.

“Yes, sir. I don’t know why, since I run the docks, but that’s what happened. They met without me. Then Teddy calls all upset and says he wants to meet with me. I asked him what about, but he said he’ll tell me when I get there. So I picked up Glo and headed over there. I figure with Glo, he’ll stay calmed down. But he wasn’t there when we got there.”

“What about Morales?” Mick asked. “Where’s his ass?”

“I ordered them to pick him up and safe house him until we got some answers.”

Mick nodded. He was proud of Joey. “That was good thinking, Joe,” he said. But then the stress of the moment got to him and he let out a harsh exhale. He pulled out his cell phone and called his Security Chief.

“Joey told me,” his chief said as soon as he answered the phone. “I’ve got every man on it, Boss.”

“Have you heard anything?” Mick asked.

“Not a word,” said the chief. “This shit blindsided all of us.”

“I don’t want any fucking blindsides!” Mick yelled. “I want my son found, you understand me?”

  “Yes, sir.”

“And double security on the house. From the front gate to the farther perimeter. My children are there with their nanny and my household staff. Fortify that fucker.”

“I’ve already made that order, sir, as soon as Joey called me.”

“Send a detail to the airfield to escort my wife and daughter home. Joey will be with me.”

  “Yes, sir. Will do, sir.”

“And call me if your ass hears anything,” Mick ordered. “And I mean anything!” he added, and then ended the call.

Mick hurried to the back side of his bedroom, punched in a combination to open a safe, and Joey smiled. The safe was filled with guns and ammunition. Mick pulled out two already loaded: a magnum and a small J-Frame. He also pulled out a gun for Roz.

And then he looked at her. He hated that she had to be constantly put in harm’s way. “You’ll have security,” he said, “but I hold you responsible for keeping Gloria and our children alive.” Then he added: “And yourself.”

Roz nodded, accepting the weapon. “I’ll handle the home front,” she said. “Don’t you worry about that. I wish a fucker would try to harm our children. You just find Teddy and Nikki.”

Mick nodded. He knew there was no one else alive that he trusted more than Roz to man the home front. In his eyes, she was that strong. In Gloria and Joey’s eyes too. They were as afraid of Roz and her wrath as they were of their father’s.

Mick kissed Roz, pulled her into his arms despite the fact that his children were staring at him, and then he and Joey took off.

Roz looked at Gloria. They had time on their hands as they couldn’t deplane until security arrived. “Why would Joey think Nikki would be with your father?” she asked her.

When Gloria seemed too embarrass to answer, Roz knew why. And shook her head. “That boy,” she said with venom on her tongue.

Then she went back into the bathroom to go and take herself a shower.

And when Mick and Joey made it outside, Mick, for the first time that Joey could remember, got into Joey’s Charger. And Joey, happy beyond measure despite the circumstances, hurried behind the wheel of his car to be his father’s driver.

  CHAPTER TEN

Hector Morales was pacing the floor of the small house when Mick and Joey entered the front door. He attempted to hurry to Mick, to explain himself, but two guards put out their rifles and stopped him from going anywhere near their boss. So Hector pled his case from where he stood.

“I do nothing wrong, Boss,” he said in his heavily accented, very broken English. “I not know nothing!”

“Where’s my son?” Mick asked him.

  “I not know---”

“Cut the bullshit and tell me!” Mick ordered with fire in his voice. “Why did you meet with Teddy and not Joe?”

Hector swallowed hard. “That no my choice, senor.”

“Whose choice was it then?” Joey asked him.

“They say me to call Teddy. They say me to tell Teddy I have valuable information that I no can tell Joey.”

“Why couldn’t you tell me?” Joey asked.

“They say me tell Teddy it to be about you,” Hector said.

  “About me?” Joey was floored.

“They also the ones to take half of cargo, Boss,” Hector said to Mick. “I no took it. They took it.”

“And you let’em?” Mick asked with a frown on his face.

“They threaten me and my family. But I no do nothing wrong, Boss.”

Mick was tired of his innocent, I no speakie English act, but he needed the info. “Who are they?” Mick asked him.

“He gave no name,” Hector said. “But he and his gang Russian.”
>
Joey looked at Mick. “Russian? We got Russian enemies, Pop?”

But Mick didn’t answer questions. “What happened to Teddy?” he asked Hector. “What happened to my son?”

“I meet with him,” said Hector. “The Russian tell me give him bullshit intel that Joey hired gang to steal cargo.”

“And Teddy believed you?” Joey asked.

“Hell no,” said Mick for Teddy.

“No,” said Hector. “He no believe me. But then I show him proof.”

Joey frowned. “What proof? Ain’t no fucking proof!”

  “What proof?” Mick asked Hector.

“The video,” Hector said, “of Joey meeting with Russian.”

“That’s a gotdamn lie!” Joey yelled. “And you know it, Heck!”

“Shut the fuck up!” Mick said to Joey. “Where’s this video?” Mick asked Hector.

“I no have it,” Hector declared. “I give to Teddy. He call Joey. Say he want to meet with him. I see him no more.”

Mick exhaled. And looked at Joey.

“I swear on a stack of Bibles, Pop,” said Joey, “I never met with any Russian. Never!”

But Mick exhaled. And began to leave. “Keep him here,” he ordered the guards, “until I get more answers.”

“Yes, sir,” said the lead guard, and Mick and Joey left.

And to Joey’s surprise, Mick got behind the wheel of Joey’s car and drove them to Teddy’s house.

Although it was a tough time, and he wanted desperately for Teddy to be safe and sound, it still felt like manna from heaven for Joey.

  CHAPTER ELEVEN

When the Charger stopped at Teddy’s house, Joey wanted to ask his father how was his driving. But he didn’t. Mick looked so serious to him, and seemed so worried for Teddy, that it kind of bugged Joey. He wondered if his father would be that worried if he was missing. He wondered if his father would have rushed over to his house, if he was missing.

But then he realized this wasn’t about him, but Teddy, and dropped the self-pity. He hurried behind his father as Mick entered Teddy’s house.
