“I think that’s an excellent idea,” Blake voiced, followed by Cade and Luke. Good. Everyone was in agreement. No arguments here. That’s got to be a first. A meeting with the guys from Sutured Souls and we didn’t argue about donating all our proceeds to an animal shelter and they easily agreed to the play set for the show.

“Guys, one more thing,” I held up my finger. “I’m going to ask Trinity to help plan this event, being that it’s her specialty.”

“Good idea,” Cade said, twirling his drumstick. “What do you think about having it televised live? People could call in donations if they’re unable to attend the concert. And don’t worry about her salary, I’ll cover that myself,” I decided. All the guys applauded once everything was set in writing. We’d give this our all to help the pets at the shelter, and hopefully find some homes in the process. We were all in agreement. My phone vibrated in my back pocket. Patrick’s name flashed across the screen. I hope this means he has news. I waved over my shoulder to the guys as I stepped onto the elevator.

“Patrick, please give me some good news,” I urged.

“I have good news and bad news. The good news is the bank is now pressing charges of forgery against Keith Walsh, but Trinity’s car will need to be held as part of the evidence.”

“That’s not a problem. Damn! That’s great news. I can’t wait to tell Trinity.”

“Okay, now for the bad news. I have been unable to find Penny Simms, as of yet. I put some feelers out after she slipped through our fingers at the label party, and hope to hear something soon. I’ll let you know as soon as I do,” Patrick promised.

“Thanks, Patrick. I look forward to hearing from you soon,” I urged. I jumped in my car and headed for Trinity’s shop. I couldn’t wait to give her the news. I could see her through the front window of the shop. She was arranging different pieces of crystal. I let myself just soak her in. She was so focused on her task. She bit down on her bottom lip as she took a step back and looked at the arrangement. Her shiny blonde hair hung over her shoulders in waves. As if she sensed my presence, she lifted her head. A beautiful smile formed on her pink pouty lips. She opened the front door and stepped outside.

“How long have you been standing there stalking me?” She poked me in the side and giggled.

“Long enough.” I grinned and threw her a playful wink.

“Long enough for what exactly?” She smiled, revealing perfect white teeth.

“I have some news for you.” I placed my hands on her shoulders and guided her toward the door. “Let’s do this inside,” I urged her to office in the back of the shop. “I received a call from Patrick earlier.” Her eyes widened with hope. “Thanks to the information you gave to the bank, they are pressing charges against Keith for forgery. He’s going to go away for a long time.” Trinity gasped and threw her arms around my neck.

“Thank you! Thank you!” She bounced on her toes before placing a kiss on my lips. “What about Penny? Did he find her?” she asked anxiously.

“He hasn’t been so lucky with Penny yet. I have faith that he’ll find her though. She’ll surface again soon if she thinks she can get money out of me.”

Her shoulders slumped and she frowned. “I’m sorry they haven’t found her yet.”

“I have more good news for you.” I couldn’t contain the smile that spread across my face. “We’re playing at the amphitheater in three weeks to raise money for the animal shelter that Aubrey is involved with. They want you to plan everything as far as the food and tickets. We talked about having it televised so that people can phone in donations.” Her green eyes lit up with excitement.

“This is a dream come true! I can’t believe they want me to be in charge of something so large and important. I’m thrilled!” She cupped my face with her hands and smashed her lips against mine.

“What do you say we go home so we can celebrate?” I wiggled my brows playfully.

“I guess I should ask my place or yours?” She laughed.

“Mine. I’ll stop off for some wine and a few things. I’ll meet you there,” I promised.

  TRINITY

I went home and packed an overnight bag, making sure to pack a swimsuit, as requested by Tucker. As I stepped out of the car, the front door opened and Tucker appeared. His broad shoulders filled the door frame, and his blue eyes flickered with heat as he looked at me from head to toe. “Am I late?” A steady pulse began to build between my legs and soon became a constant throb. I needed him in every way possible.

“You’re not late. I’ve been anxious to get my hands on you all night.” His words made my heart flutter and my stomach flip with excitement. Before I knew what was happening, he hoisted me over his shoulder and headed down the hall toward his room.

“What are you doing?” I laughed and pinched his perfect backside.

“I’m taking you to bed so I can fuck your brains out,” he said, slapping me on the ass. He lowered me down his big body until my feet hit the floor. Strong arms wrapped around me as he buried his face in my hair. His warm breath against my neck made me shiver in a good way.

“You smell good enough to eat,” he grunted. He feathered soft, kisses beneath my ear and down to my collar bone. My breath caught in my throat when he bit down on the delicate skin there. I turned in his arms and tilted my face upward to his. His dark blue eyes burned into me with such intensity, I could feel it in my soul. He dropped to his knees and took my hand in his.

“What are you doing?” A nervous giggle escaped my lips. The look on his face was one that I’d never seen before. He almost looked nervous, and that’s just not like Tucker. He’s forever the jokester.

“Trinity Walsh, will you marry me?” His blue eyes met my green ones, full of love and passion as he waited for my answer. My heart thundered in my chest and a large lump formed in my throat as he reached in his pocket and pulled out a stunning pear-shaped diamond.

“Tucker, what are you doing?” I managed to say around the lump in my throat.

“I’m asking the woman I love to be my wife.” When I continued to stare at the ring, he interrupted my thoughts. “It’s okay. I know this is sudden. We haven’t known each other very long, and I understand if you need time to think. It’s okay.”

“No.” I shook my head nervously.

“No?” he questioned. His voice came out broken.

“No, I don’t need to think about it.” I was totally ruining this beautiful moment with my nervous babbling.

“I mean, yes! Yes, I’ll marry you.”

A look of relief washed over him as he slipped the ring on my finger and then kissed it.

“Cupcake, you had me worried there for a moment.” He stood and pulled me in for a kiss and devoured me with his soft lips.

“I can’t believe this is happening.” I held my hand out and stared at the ring that now sparkled on my finger. “This is beautiful,” I whispered. Tears began to stream down my face. “I can’t believe this. I can’t believe you’d want to spend the rest of your life with me, I’m nobody,” I whispered as self-doubt crept in. “You could have any woman in the world.”

He cupped my face in his big hands and said, “Trinity, you’re everything to me. Don’t ever forget that. I’m going to give you the wedding of your dreams, and I promise you we’ll go anywhere you want on our honeymoon, except Bali.” I couldn’t contain the smile that crept across my face.

“Oh yeah? Then what Mr. Rock star? You have this all planned out. What comes next?” I asked.

“You give me a house full of beautiful little Trinity babies.”

“You just put the ring on my finger and you’re talking about having babies,” I giggled. There was something about his words, the look on his face, and the promise of a happy life that pushed all of my self-doubt back out of my mind. He’s not like Keith.

“What do you say we practice making babies?” He took my mouth into a slow sensual kiss that quickly turned urgent. Tongue’s meeting, teeth nipping, a

I awoke the next morning to an empty bed and cool sheets. That told me that Trinity had been up for a while. The bold aroma of fresh coffee wafted up the hall and into the bedroom. I pulled on a pair of shorts and went in search of my fiancée. Damn, I loved the thought of Trinity becoming my wife. I was ready to give her my last name. I would love to fly her to Paris today and give her the wedding she deserves, but we have the fundraiser for the animal shelter the next day, so it would have to wait. My chest tightened and warmth spread through my body when I spotted her standing at the kitchen counter. She was wearing one of my old tour shirts that had seen better days. It fell just short enough to get a sneak peek of her firm cheeks and black thong. A cup of coffee in one hand and a smile on her full pink lips. She was wiggling her fingers out in front of her watching the diamond sparkle under the kitchen lighting.

“There she is, the future Mrs. James.” I wrapped my arms around her waist and buried my face in her hair, making her giggle.

“I woke up early and couldn’t go back to sleep. I convinced myself it was all a dream until I looked at the ring on my finger.” She looked up at me and smiled.

“Come back to bed and let me show you how much I love you.”

“Let me make love to you all day,” I said, shifting my hips from side to side making her squirm. I peppered kisses up her neck and grinned as her whole body shivered with pleasure. I nipped at her neck, and she rubbed me through my shorts. If she squeezed me any tighter, I would make a huge mess in my shorts like I did when I was a horny teenager. Her small hand dipped beneath the elastic waistband of my shorts and gripped my hard cock. She dropped to her knees and took me into her warm mouth. Her tongue licked a path up my dick and swirled around the crown of my dick.

“Ohh fuuuck,” I gasped when she sucked me to the back of her throat. “Cupcake, I’m gonna come.” I tugged at her hair, but she continued. When she picked up the pace, my balls drew tight against me, and that familiar tingle shot down my spine and I came with a deep moan. “I love you, Trin.” My chest heaved as I tried to catch my breath. She looked up at me with dark green eyes and licked along her bottom lip. Her lips curled into a pleased smile. I hoisted her up and took her mouth in a hungry kiss. “I want to fly you to Paris today and marry you,” I said, kissing just below her ear.

“Tucker, as much as I’d love to marry you today, there’s so much to do, and we have the fund raiser tomorrow night. I promise to go any time afterward. I have to tell my parents. We need to tell the band, and Willow would never forgive me if I ran off and got married without telling her.”

“You’re right. I want to make you mine as soon as possible.”

“I am yours, Tucker, and nothing is going to change that. I want to spend the rest of my life with you.”

She had a damn good point, but I gave it one more shot. “There’s always Vegas. We could leave today and be back by tomorrow.” I gave her ass a little squeeze. Just when I thought I’d won, she shot me down.

“Tucker, there’s just not enough time. I’m sorry, and besides, I want to find the perfect dress.” She was right, and it wasn’t fair that I kept pushing.

“Okay, babe. I understand.” I kissed the tip of her nose as she smiled back at me. For once in a long time, my heart was full, and I felt like my life had purpose. I’d finally met my soul mate. My heart was so full of happiness it felt like it would burst from my chest. I could hear my cell ringing from the bedroom. I took a step back.

“I better get that. Don’t move.” I kissed her again making her giggle. I scooped my phone from the charger and saw Elliott’s name on the screen. “What do you want asshole? I’m kind of busy right now,” I growled.

“Always the smartass,” Elliott shot back. “I need you guys in the studio in an hour to discuss some changes for the event tomorrow. It’s mandatory, and non-negotiable. I’ll see you in an hour,” he barked and ended the call. I stared down at my phone in disbelief. The fucker hung up on me.

I threw on some clothes and was on my way to the studio in a matter of minutes. The whole ride there was spent thinking about Trinity, and the look on her face last night when I proposed, and again this morning when I caught her admiring the ring. It’s as if she couldn’t believe it was really happening. I intended to steal her away once this weekend was over and make her Mrs. Tucker James. Damn, I loved the sound of that.

I stepped off the elevator and walked down the hall toward the conference room. The tension was so thick in the room you could cut it with a knife. Elliott was pacing the floor and Patrick, my PI of all people, were there. My gut told me this couldn’t be good. I wasn’t prepared for what hit me next. Patrick and Elliott stood side by side and informed me that Penny Simms has been spotted in Temecula. The guess is that she’ll make an appearance at the fundraiser tomorrow.

“If she’s been spotted, why hasn’t she been arrested? Tell me that! Who let her walk away?” I snapped.

“She was spotted by one of my men at the shops of Temecula. He tried to follow her, but she blended in with everyone else. He lost sight of her,” Patrick said.

“What makes you think she didn’t just up and leave? If she hasn’t contacted Tucker, maybe she left town,” Cade said.

“Penny Simms is a bitch who’s been looking to cause trouble for Tucker for the past year. She’s not going to give up that easily,” Blake explained.

“We called you here to make you aware of her presence,” Patrick explained, passing a picture of Penny around the table for the guys to see. It didn’t escape me that Luke just passed the picture along. If I’m not mistaken, he didn’t even look at the picture.

“So, what’s she done that’s got you guys on high alert?” Luke asked looking at Patrick.

“She tricked Tucker in to marrying her one drunken night in Vegas. As soon as Tucker figured out what was going on, he had the marriage dissolved. Penny hasn’t given up that easily. She wants money or she’ll go to the press and spread the story of how the Tucker James took advantage of her drunken state and married her in Vegas. It would kill his career, not to mention the bad press the band would get off of her story. She’s demanding that Tucker pay up. She says that’s the only way to keep the story from hitting the papers. I believe that’s what she’s here for. She’ll make her appearance at the fundraiser. We need everyone to be on high alert. If you see her, get word to one of us immediately,” Patrick declared.

“It could mean life or death. She knows about Trinity. We’ve got to keep her safe,” I demanded, pacing the room like a caged animal. “Penny has been a psycho stalker for over a year now. She knows Trinity is the way to get to me. I have no doubt she’d stop at nothing,” I explained. I’d warned this crazy bitch before to leave me alone, and she couldn’t seem to get it through her head. After more discussion, everyone knew their role for tomorrow. I left for home to explain this to Trinity. She knows about Penny and the games she’s been playing. She just doesn’t know she’s in town. I’ll do everything within my power to keep her safe.

When I arrived back home, there was a note on the counter from Trinity stating that she and Willow were meeting Aubrey at the animal shelter to go over a few things for the event tomorrow. At least she had Willow with her, and she wasn’t wandering around town alone. I pulled my phone from my pocket and shot Willow a quick text.

Me: Please keep a close eye on Trinity. A woman by the name of Penny Simms is in town and considered to be dangerous. She’s out to find any possible way to hurt me. I’ll explain in more detail later. Just watch my girl.

Willow: You know I’d cut a bitch for messing with my friend. Do you have a picture of this woman? Why is she looking for Trinity? What did you do?

Me: I’ll show you a picture at home. I can’t really get into details right now. Just don’t alarm Trinity that Penny is in town. I need to talk to her and break the news.

“How the hell are ya, Temecula?” I growled into the microphone. The sound of the crowd was deafening, to say the least. I glanced to my right and saw Trinity standing just out of sight with a big smile on her face. I made her promise to stay where I could see her while I was on stage. Damn I loved her. But, I wouldn’t have been surprised if Penny weren’t here in the crowd somewhere.

“I’ve got something I need to say before we get the show started. I want to say a big thank you to Aubrey and Trinity for organizing this fundraiser for the local animal shelter. Let’s give a voice to those who can’t speak. There are two tents at the entrance and exit of this event. Please donate whatever you can to help those pets in need. For every dollar you spend, they can feed a puppy for a day. For every five you donate, a dog can have a warm bed to sleep on rather than a cement floor. Thank you to WCDQ for televising this for us. If you are at home and would like to donate, the number is at the bottom of the screen. Now, let’s get this show on the road!” The crowd went wild. Cade counted down the first song as Luke’s guitar and Blake’s bass floated through the night air. Everyone played their heart out. When we were down to the last two songs, I signaled the guys to stop playing. I turned to the crowd and said “I’ve got someone special in my life and I’d like for all of you to meet her.” I glanced to my right and Trinity’s eyes were as big as the moon. “Come on out here, cupcake.” I motioned with my hand for her to come to me. She shook her head furiously, but I nodded and gave her my cocky grin. “Come on baby.” She crossed the stage and stopped at my side. I wrapped my arm around her and kissed her temple.

“I’m going to kill you Tucker James,” she whispered.
