The Reign of Rain Robinson

Jackie rose up and tried to get off a shot with her nine, but she was outgunned. She dropped back behind the car and looked over at Black. “They got a lotta fire power.”
“They do.” Black rose up and fired before returning to cover to reload. “And they ain’t Mobley’s people.”
Jackie opened fire, and quickly dropped for cover. “They aren’t?”
“No,” Black said as he reloaded.
“Who are they?” Jackie shouted as bullets bounced off of the car and the wall behind them.
“El Decreto de Guerra.”
As Black and Jackie shot it out with the ambushers, Rain pulled the driver out of the truck, shot him in the head to make sure he was dead and then she got in the truck and moved it out of the way.
“I’m gonna throw these grenades, when they detonate we rush them,” Black said.
“Right,” Jackie said and readied her weapon.
“You ready?” Black threw the M67’s.
“Let’s do it!” She shouted as the grenades exploded.
Jackie took a deep breath before she came up shooting with the AR15. She fired until the AR was empty; two men went down, and she took cover to reload. Black ran at the ambushers firing; hit one, but only in the shoulder and then turned quickly and dropped another. The man he hit in the shoulder raised his weapon and was about to fire when Rain shot him.
Black walked over to one of them and kicked over the body as Rain and Jackie joined him. He looked at Rain.
“What has Carter been doing?”
Chapter Seven
“Hey, Rain. What’s up?” Carter answered.
“Where are you?”
“J.R.'s.”
“Wait there for me.”
“I’ll be right here waiting for you,” Carter said and ended the call. He put the phone down on the desk, then put his hands back on Yarissa’s hips and squeezed her thighs before spreading them, entering her again with force and went back to pounding away.
“Fuck this pussy!” Yarissa demanded and started bucking her ass as he pounded away from behind. When she felt his body jerk, Yarissa’s muscles clutched and released around him.
“Take this dick,” Carter said and grabbed her shoulders and continued slamming that dick into Yarissa and she loved it.
“Yes! Fuck me harder!” she screamed.
There were times when Yarissa thought about the fact that she was fucking her best friend’s ex and how she felt about it. She was not the least bit conflicted about it and that was simply because Yarissa was too caught up in her lust for Carter to care. At times, it did really bother her that she was fucking him at J.R.'s while Mileena was in the club, but this wasn’t one of those times.
Because it feels so fucking good, Yarissa thought as she threw her hips into Carter’s back breaking thrusts.
Carter grabbed her bouncing titties as Yarrisa slammed her wet pussy into him, rocking her hips furiously until she could feel him all up in her stomach.
“Oh shit — damn! I’m gonna cum!” she screamed and pulled away from Carter, but not for long.
Yarissa quickly pulled Carter into her mouth, lavishing the head with kisses from her soft lips. As Yarrisa worked back and forth on his length, he reached out and grabbed her head and ran his fingers through her hair.
“Get up on the desk,” Carter instructed, and Yarissa quickly moved some things aside and hopped up on the desk.
Carter came to Yarissa and leaned forward, kissing her gently on her lips before plunging deep inside her. His thrusts were steady, hard, and deep. She moved her body back and forth on top of the desk as he held Yarissa’s hips in place, so she could feel each thrust.
“Fuck me!”
Carter just kept pummeling her spot; hitting it over and over and making Yarissa cum again and again. The sounds of sex filled the office; wet pussy popping, skin hitting skin and the desk rocking.
“Fuck!” Carter yelled and pulled out of her. Yarissa quickly leaned forward, took Carter to the back of her throat so he could cum in her mouth.
When Black, Rain and Jackie got to J.R.'s, Yarissa was seated at her desk outside Rain’s office with a thoroughly satisfied look on her face.
“Carter still here?” Rain asked.
“In the lounge,” Yarissa answered still feeling the aftereffects of being well fucked and back at her desk.
“Get him and bring him to the office,” Rain said as she went in her office and closed the door.
When Carter entered the office, he found Rain seated behind her desk while Jackie was sitting on the couch next to Black.
“We just got ambushed,” Jackie said, taking the lead.
“By who?”
“El Decreto de Guerra,” she said, and Carter dropped his head a little. “Can you think of any reason why they might have done that?”
“I got a tip from Carla on where I could find Damián Custodio. I went there, and I killed him and the woman he was with,” Carter said.
“Don’t you think that killing the head of El Decreto de Guerra was something I needed to know about?” Rain asked, no longer able to contain herself.
“Yes, I should have told you.”
“Yeah, Carter, you should have. If you had told me about it, maybe we wouldn’t have rolled out to Brooklyn …” Rain paused and thought for a second. “to a spot a couple of blocks from where you and I killed Herminio Leoncio.” Rain shook her head. “I should have known better.” She looked up at Carter. “You should have told me, Carter. You should have told me that you killed him.”
Carter looked at Black; the expression on his face told him nothing and that made him fear for his life.
“I’m sorry, Mike. This is on me. I should have said something … before I went and did it, I mean.”
“Damn right you should have,” Jackie said.
Black nodded at Rain. “That’s it, Carter, you can go,” Rain said.
Carter stood there for a second or two, and then he looked at Black trying to think if he should say something more in his defense. He decided against it and turned to leave the office.
Black stood up and walked toward the door with Carter. “I want you to know that I ain’t mad that you killed him. You did what you felt that you had to do. I get that.” Black put his arm around Carter. “If it was Bobby these fucks killed, I’da killed them all months ago. It’s just bad timing, that’s all.”
“I understand, Mike and I’m sorry,” Carter said as Black opened the door for him. “It won’t happen again.”
“I know it won’t,” Black said and closed the door.
When the door was shut, both Jackie and Rain covered their mouths to keep from laughing out loud.
“You know he’s wondering if you’re gonna have him killed over this,” Rain said.
“Probably thinking that Monika’s outside waiting for him to come out,” Jackie laughed.
“Good. He needs something to think about.”
“That Mileena shit got him fucked up,” Jackie said and stood up.
“Trust me, Jackie, that nigga got plenty of pussy to ease his pain,” Rain said.
“No doubt. Anyway, I’m out,” Jackie said, and she left the office.
Black looked at Rain. “What you gettin’ ready to do?”
Since the shooting began, each had been acting as the others bodyguard, so they were practically inseparable at this point.
“Nothing. Why?”
“Wanna fly to Freeport?”
“Now?”
“Yeah. Fuck else you gotta do?”
“Nothing.”
“Might as well fly to Freeport.”
“Might as well,” Rain said and followed Black out of the office.
It was a little after three when Rain touched down at the airport in Freeport to pick up Shy for the wedding. It was decided that because of everything that was going on in the family, that the children did not need to come to the wedding. The discussion was whether M should come or not. Black decided that he would leave it
up to her.
It was a little before four when Black got undressed and as quietly as he could, eased into the bed next to his wife.
“I don’t know why you bother,” Shy said before the sheets could settle against his skin. “I always know when you’re near me.” Shy rolled over slowly, and Black kissed her, enjoying the warmth of her body. Now that she was pregnant, she had become their own personal bed warmer which he loved since he hated being cold.
“What are you doing here? I thought you weren’t coming until morning.”
“I wanted to sleep with you.”
“So, you woke Jake up and made him fly you down here just to sleep with me?”
Black kissed her again, this time drawing it out because even with just the moonlight shining in the room, he could see the glow of her skin. She was so beautiful to him.
“No. Rain left Jake a message and we stole the jet.”
“You’re kidding?”
“Yes, I can’t steal the jet, it’s mine. But, yeah, Rain did leave Jake a message and she flew us down here,” Black said and moved in a little closer, being careful to not bump her now round belly.
“You two are funny,” Shy said and gave him a long passionate kiss, enjoying having him close to her again.
She had missed him.
“Mmmm. What was that for?”
“For wearing a vest like I asked you to,” she said and kissed him again.
“She told you, huh?”
“Sent me a text right away. I told her to take a picture, but she said I was pushin’ it,” Shy said, and they moaned a kiss into each other’s mouth. “It means a lot that you did that for me.”
Their lips met again; their tongues danced, and their lips separated only to breathe.
“That’s what you made Rain fly you down here for.”
“You know I can’t ever get enough of you,” Black said and began to kiss his way down her neck and over her chest, avoiding her very swollen and sore nipples.
His kisses over her bare skin excited her, when he reached her round stomach, he pressed a tender kiss against it before he peeled back the sheet, and it inflamed her. His smooth lips and his warm tongue felt wonderful against sensitive skin.
Shy spread her legs and Black moved gently between them. His fingers opened her moist lips before he pulled her into his mouth. The flicking of his tongue against her bud, made her hips come up off the bed. Black placed his hands under her to hold Shy in place as his lips sucked gently on her clit.
She lay there silent, unable to release the sound from the quake occurring in her womb. The intensity of the orgasm, the contraction that seized upon her, making her feel both pleasure and pain at once as her body twitched. She held his head to her as the feeling subsided and her body relaxed.
“Oh, Michael.”
Black eased in behind her, and then he slid into Shy slowly. Maybe it was because she was so swollen, and so moist at her core, but she could literally feel every inch of him inside of her. His thickness and the precision of his slow, but deep thrusts that joined him to her made her toes curl.
Tears welled up in her eyes as she felt the emotion of the life they shared being inside of her as they made love. Shy could feel him expanding inside her and then he tensed and jerked before collapsing against her back.
A few hours later, when Black and Shy rolled out of bed and drifted into the kitchen, they weren’t really all that surprised to find Rain seated at the table next to Joanne with an almost empty plate in front of her.
Shy laughed. “That’s how you convinced her to fly down here in the middle of the night. Food.”
“Morning, Ma.” Black kissed his mother. “Morning, Joanne,” he said and sat down next to her while Shy began to fix their plates.
“That’s her second plate,” M said and got up. “And you need to sit down and let me get that, Cassandra.”
Shy placed a plate in front of Black. “Thank you.”
“So, you need to wobble your ass over here and sit down,” Rain said with her mouth half-full.
Shy handed M the plate. “I do not wobble when I walk,” she said and sat down.
“Yes, you do, Sandy,” Joanne said.
When M finished with the plate, she placed it in front of Shy and went and sat down next to Rain.
“You decide what you’re gonna do, Ma?”
“I’ve known Nick a long time, Michael. It wouldn’t be right if I wasn’t there to see him and April get married. So, if it’s all right with you, I want to go.”
“That’s right. Wouldn’t be a family wedding without the matriarch of The Family being there,” Rain said.
Chapter Eight
It was a brand-new day. The sun was now rising not only on the morning hours, but on her upcoming nuptials. Today she would become Mrs. Nick Simmons; something she never imagined happening. Not with their start of barely knowing each other and having a one-night stand that resulted in her carrying and raising his son. No matter how she looked at it, her and Nick being about to tie the knot, seemed unbelievable.
But then she was reminded of how despite being opposite in so many ways, with her being orderly, organized, and always seeking structure, and him being the fly by the seat of his pants, loving wild and dangerous situations type of guy that Nick is, they complemented, maybe even completed each other. No one else had the ability to get her to see the excitement in the unknown the way that he did. And there were many times when Nick thanked and appreciated April for calming him down and getting him to see all the beauty that a life of love with her could be. Sometimes by pulling him into bed with her where she’d kiss and make love to him, or just by being there to lie against him and stroke his chest until their breathing became one.
It was cheesy when she thought of it, but it was them. Two halves, two separate halves of one whole, and now they were to be married. She was excited because most of all, Nick and April were at peace with each other.
It may have been a brand-new day, but nothing had changed in The Family. Although it had been quiet for the past two days, nobody expected that to last. In fact, Black expected either Barnes or Mobley, if not both to try something. And now thanks to Carter, there was El Decreto de Guerra to contend with as well. For that reason, security at Cuisine for Nick and April’s wedding was high.
The amount of security did not go unnoticed by April’s family. As far as they were concerned, April was marrying a nice man that owned a very successful international security consulting business, so even though April warned them in advance to expect it, the obvious security seemed over the top.
Nick and his best man, Marvin were wearing classic fit Neil Allyn Charleston black tuxedos as were Judah and Pills. They were charged with the responsibility of escorting the ladies without a plus one. Judah had the honor of escorting Monika to her table. she was a feast for his eyes in the Halston Heritage tie-back cut out gown that clung to her hips. Carla, in her Chiara Boni La Petite Robe faux wrap gown, was escorted by her husband Xavier.
The glowing Shy wore a lavish silk Valentino cape-like gown in light plum that accentuated the long lines of her body and her rounding curves courtesy of the baby. And of course, she was accompanied by her handsome husband wearing a Capstone Italian tuxedo. His mother, M was wearing a boat neck mermaid gown in blush. The bell sleeve and bow feature at her shoulder made the dress look matronly, but fashionable. Wanda surprised everybody when she was escorted in by James Austin, her so-called secret man that everybody knew about. She looked radiant in the navy Zac Posen off-the-shoulder silk midi dress she selected for the occasion. Her smile was wide as she took her seat at the table and introduced James to her family for the first time.
Looking very chic with her in an electric yellow Carolina Herrera off-the-shoulder dress, and him in a Kenneth Cole notch lapel tuxedo, Bobby and Pam arrived and were seated at what the staff had deemed the Bosses table. Seated at the table next to them were their children. Tenikka was there with her handsome date and she looked magnifice
nt in her Sachin & Babi gown. Looking dapper in a black Ermenegildo Zegna peak-lapel one-button wool tuxedo, was RJ with his arm around his dazzling date, Venus who was wearing a Carmen Marc Valvo sequin leather embellished gown. Barbara who looked elegant in the orchid Carmen Marc Valvo floral halter gown she wore, wanted Ram to come with her, but Tenikka told her that it was a bad idea. But Barbara had a plan.
Travis came in wearing a Versace tux with Jackie, wearing a black Michael Kors one shoulder gown with cutout front, on one arm, and Fiona in Dahlia Cushnie et Ochs off-the-shoulder gown, on his other.
In his Boss tux, Victor escorted Fantasy into Cuisine. She looked stunning on his arm wearing a black Elie Saab cut-out wrap-skirt gown. She was just happy to be there amongst those with so much power and influence and her wide smile showed that. There was one person that she was looking for, but she hadn’t seen him yet.
One of the last guests to arrive, because that was her style, was Jada. She was exquisitely dressed in a Pamella Roland printed mesh organza ball gown. Her escort for the night was Martin Marshall’s chief of staff, Clayton Edmonds.
Looking gorgeous in the Roberto Cavalli cross-front zebra print dress she was rocking, Rain sat next to M at the table with Black, Bobby, and Wanda. Even though she’d rather not be there, she knew well enough to know that at something so high profile, The Family was at a greater risk and in that cute dress, she was not ready for war.
“You look very nice in that dress, Loraine,” M commented when she sat down.
“Thank you, Miss Black,” Rain said with a frown on her face.
“Why do you look so mad?” M asked.
“She doesn’t have anywhere to hide her guns,” Shy laughed and then glanced at James because she had no idea what Wanda had told him about her family.
“You know me better than that, Shy,” Rain said knowing that her guns sat inside her cute, but functional bag that matched her dress at her feet.
Wanda leaned close to Shy. “He doesn’t know everything, but he does know who we are,” she said softly. “Seems that there aren’t too many people who haven’t heard of those two,” Wanda said of Black and Bobby who were talking quietly to each other.
