  “They did no such thing, child! What they did do though, was bring me back against my will! Although I can’t really complain, I’ll get a chance to get to know Zoya and my grandbabies,” Grams called from the doorway.

  Clambering out of bed she ripped the IV from her arm and engulfed her Grams in a hug. Aarik pulled her back to put pressure on the wound before pushing her back to the bed gingerly. Fussing like a mother hen at her actions. She let him pamper and call for the nurse as she eyed her Grams with undying love and said, “To whom do I owe my gratitude?”

  “Guess the two tadpoles you’re carrying are to blame. They didn’t like that I was leaving and reached out to their Yaya for assistance,” Grams replied as Zoya entered the room with Thad in tow. Chuckling to herself she joined Kiya and patted her flat belly lovingly before she sobered and said, “You two are going to have your hands full.”
