It felt so good to laugh! To know that they were still carrying on with the wedding despite the events that took place the night before, and the fact that neither of them had much sleep.

“No, you could never be late for your own wedding,” he chuckled through the door. “There is no wedding without the Princess.”

“You can come in,” Jasmine told him.

Jasmine had wanted to wait until her wedding night to give herself to Prince Chadwick… but that was taken away from her. She wished that she hadn’t been under a spell but figured Julia had helped her in some weird way, because now she was pregnant.

Everything happened for a reason. That was one positive thing that she could look at.

“You take your time and I will be waiting for you in the garden,” he promised her.

With that she heard his footsteps move away from the door. She pressed her ear against the door until she could no longer hear them.

She looked at herself in the mirror, wearing her white gown and her veil. Her hair was in a tight braid and her crown was on her head.

She was going to miss the days of walking around in the garden, of enjoying the little bit of freedom she did have.

Though the memories made her smile, she thought about how she had wanted to be a queen for so long. She knew it would take a special situation to make it happen.

  Now it was finally here.

She stepped out onto the balcony, ignoring the guards that were standing there and ready to pounce if any danger came their way.

Jasmine didn’t want to think of that. She wanted to think of harmony and how she wanted peace with everyone.

She knew that she couldn’t change everyone. She couldn’t change Julia and the things that she had done, but she could change the way she lived. She could change the way the kingdom lived.

If people saw that the Queen of all people could combine the two worlds together and see things the way she did, then that was all she could ever ask for.

Jasmine looked down at the crowd of people, realizing that she was the only one missing from the wedding.

It was a good start to a new beginning and it was something that she had waited so long for.

She knew when she was a little girl that she was going to change the world someday. Today was the day to make that happen.

There were so many times she dreamed about changing the world for the better. She now had all the power in the palm of her hand. She was doing it.

She was well on her way to making her dreams come true with the man that she loved standing by her side.

  Chapter 12

Jasmine looked down at her stomach and rubbed it. The only two who knew about the baby were her and Prince Chadwick, and she couldn’t wait to announce it! She couldn’t wait to tell everyone that they were carrying a child together. That their worlds would become one not just because of the wedding—but because of the family that they were creating.

“Are you ready, Princess Jasmine?” one of the guards asked her, stepping forward.

“I am, but I would like to walk down by myself. I am soon going to be Queen and I want nothing more than to walk myself down that aisle without you guys parading around me.” Jasmine told the guard as nicely as she could.

“I don’t know if that’s safe enough to do,” he didn’t like telling the Princess that. He didn’t like to go against her wishes, but she had to realize that right now anything could happen.

“Please, I don’t need a speech. I know what happened better than anyone else does,” she said, nodding her head at him. “I’m going to be fine. I want it this way.”

He reluctantly stepped aside and she headed out of the doors that were keeping her from her soon-to-be King.

She saw guards everywhere: along the walls of the palace, in the hallways… she nodded her head at them and smiled to let them know that everything was going to be okay.

She was going to be okay.

When Jasmine made it down to the garden she remembered being a little girl and planting the flowers. Her flowers.

  Roses.

Roses meant love to her and love she had found. Love was what was going to bring the kingdoms together and they would grow to love one another. She was sure of it; there was nothing that was going to keep her from her dreams.

She saw Prince Chadwick waiting for her at the end of the rose bushes that lined the aisle just like she had wanted them to.

As she smiled at him, she saw his smile grow wider when he noticed her beautiful dress. When he saw that his soon-to-be Queen was going to be taking his hand in just a matter of seconds.

“Are you ready for this?” he asked her, taking her hands in his.

“I’ve been ready,” she whispered back to him, bringing her face closer to his.

When it was time, the two held each other at arms-length and slowly brought their faces closer together.

The closer they got the tighter they held onto each other, making sure that they didn’t lose the connection that they were showing the kingdom.

Teaching them that no matter what, they were a unit. They would stand and fight side-by-side no matter what life brought to their kingdoms.

They were going to be on the battlefields together no matter what other kingdoms had to say about it.

This was what Jasmine had been waiting for her whole life.

When she pressed her lips against Prince Chadwick’s, everyone stood up, cheering and clapping. Jasmine knew that everything was going to be okay. She trusted her Prince. She trusted that love would save her… that love would save everyone.

  Well. Just about everyone.

“We are going to have such a great time together and that the only thing that will ever matter is love,” Chadwick told her softly. “The love that we create, the babies that we create. The worlds have become one.”

She hugged him tightly to her and cried as she wrapped her arms around his neck. Not sad tears, but the happy tears that she knew would come on her wedding day. The happy tears that reminded her that nothing could go wrong.

She wasn’t dumb. She knew that someday Julia would come back with another plan to kill them.

She also knew that her kingdom would be ready. The world would be ready for Julia and they would capture her.

She wasn’t sure if she was going to put Julia in jail for the rest of her life or kill her. But that wasn’t something to worry about at the moment.

“Are you happy? Are you happy that your dreams have come true?” Chadwick whispered against her ear.

“Yes, you have no idea how happy I am right this very second,” Jasmine whispered back to him, as she kissed his neck.

The longer they held each other, the louder people applauded for them.

Jasmine looked around. Everyone who wanted to celebrate with them was invited, and there was a huge crowd.

There were more people there than she could count.

“We are off to a good start if I do say so myself,” Jasmine told him, letting him go so that they could hold hands and face the people that were celebrating a new life. A new world.

It wasn’t just something new for Jasmine and Chadwick. It was new to the kingdom, and Jasmine silently swore that she wouldn’t let them down. As Queen she would not let down those who looked up to her.

Jasmine felt the tears streaming down her face. She felt her heart pounding so hard that she was sure that it was going to pound out of her chest… and she was happy to see that everyone felt the same way that she did.

“This is going to work.” she whispered to herself.

Jasmine thought that she had whispered so low that even Prince Chadwick couldn’t hear her, but she felt him squeeze her hand. She knew that he had heard her.

  The End.

  Tentacle Soldier Warriors

  Description

He was sent to Earth so that his mother, the Angry Queen, could destroy it. She wanted h
im to take what Earth had before she deleted Earth as if it had never existed.

When he arrived he believed every bad thing his mother told him about humans. Even he had a bad experience when first encountering them. He believed that humans were nothing but evil beings looking to destroy each other. That is, until one person came into his life.

Could one person make a difference, or is it too late for mankind?

  Chapter 1

X-Jorn watched his mother pace back and forth. She was angry—the Angry Queen of the beloved Zar-Kan planet. He continued to watch her pace back and forth.

“This is your mission: you are to go to Earth and see if there is anything worth taking before we destroy it,” his mother stated, staring at him with her four beady black eyes.

She wore the robe of a queen as well as a crown with pointed knives that could have killed just about anything—just by rearing her head!

X-Jorn knew not to argue with his mother so he just nodded his head; he knew better because he had seen her eliminate others and didn’t know if he would be the next one, despite being her own flesh and blood.

“You are to go tonight when it’s dark. The moon will be covered, it will be a cloudy night, and the stars won’t even be shining,” she said, and then pointed a finger at him. “Tonight is the night that we need to do this.”

He continued to nod his head.

There was a big difference between him and his mother: he wasn’t the type to cause violence, nor was he the type that wanted to destroy others.

There was one thing he had read up on and it was love. How he would like to know that feeling… to know what it meant to be in love with someone!

On Zar-Kan all he knew was hatred. All he saw was elimination. He knew that he’d been brought into this world only by tentacles and liquid. He didn’t know any other way of living.

Going down to Earth sounded like a treat to him. He wanted to know exactly how they lived, how they treated one another.

They had to treat each other better than his kind did on his planet. He had hope even though he didn’t truly know what it meant. He felt it.

X-Jorn had known he was different ever since he was a child. His mother was the Queen. Everyone bowed down to her.

When others tried to bow down to him he just shook his head, giving them a sincere look with his eyes—the two that looked normal, at least.

He would not have someone bow down to him. He would not carry the anger that his mother carried. He refused to be like her, refused to settle for the way she wanted to live.

It didn’t mean that he wouldn’t obey her like the rest. Whenever someone had to be eliminated and she called upon him, he would do it.

But how he didn’t like doing it!

He just had a feeling it was either him or them and he didn’t want to be the one to be eliminated… he didn’t want to be the one to lose his life because of not obeying.

“Are you listening?” his mother glared at him angrily.

He was caught off guard, he hadn’t been listening!

“Tonight is the night,” she stated. “You will be heading down in a few hours. Your bag is on your bed. It has everything you need in it.”

“Yes, thank you,” he nodded his head quickly.

He was glad she had repeated herself, though she wasn’t the type to do so.

He could hear the anger booming from her voice and could see the heat radiating off her blue skin; he felt himself starting to sweat.

“I want updates. If there is anything there that you need then let me know right away and we will take it,” she said, as she continued to give him instructions. “We will take everything that the earthlings have to give us before we destroy them. It could be that you’re down there just for tonight or a few nights. We will discuss that more when I hear an update from you.”

X-Jorn looked at her, licking his lips.

“Do you remember how to communicate?” she asked, glaring at him.

X-Jorn knew that it had been a while since he had been away from Zar-Kan, but he remembered quite well.

He put a finger to his temple and felt the thump, felt the vibration when he closed his eyes.

“Good,” she smiled at him. “I knew that you would remember.”

An angry smile to say the least, but it was a smile nonetheless. That was all he could ask for. It meant that everything was going to be just fine.

“Do you think that you can carry this mission out? Do you think that you can do this?” she asked him.

He wanted to roll his eyes and give her a dumb look.

How many times did she have to ask him this? How many times did he have to listen to her repeat herself before he drifted off again?

“I heard you, mother,” he responded, with a hint of irritation in his voice. “I heard you the first time.”

It wasn’t very often that he talked like that to his mother. She wasn’t the type to allow someone talk back to her.

“I’m just making sure that you understand what you’re doing,” said Angry Queen, as she placed a hand on her hip. “This is a big mission and if this is messed up—if anyone finds out that you are what you are—they will come after us instead of the other way around. They will eliminate our planet before we do theirs. Is that what you want?”

“No, no, that’s not what I want,” X-Jorn shook his head.

“You think that I’m being mean by doing this, don’t you?” She put both her hands on her hips this time.

She stared at him, expecting him to answer.

“I don’t think you are,” he said in a low voice.

“You want peace and harmony? I’m telling you that there’s no such thing!” she said. The Angry Queen then warned her son, “You can’t be found out while you’re down there.”

“I won’t be,” he shook his head firmly this time.

“Get ready to be sent down to Earth,” she nodded her head, bowing at her waist with her hands still on her hips.

He knew that it was time to leave. That was the sign that she was done speaking to him now that he had all the information that he needed.

  Chapter 2

X-Jorn was brought down to the beach and dropped off. He used his senses to look out over the water. He walked the beach; the shoes on his feet were a little heavy and they sank in the sand. The pants he was wearing were a little too tight— either because his mother couldn’t even remember his size or she didn’t care.

His tank-top was tight as well, however, he didn’t complain about that. Halfway down the beach he saw two men who were talking.

They were talking in jumbled words. They were walking funny… nothing like the way he was walking. They were staggering and though he found it weird, he didn’t say anything about it.

As hard as he tried to hear what they were saying he couldn’t hear them, but noticed they were looking back to see who was behind them.

When X-Jorn passed them he was caught off guard and felt two hands push him from behind. Soon his face was being ground into the sand.

He tasted sand in his mouth and he felt it in his eyes—how the grains of sand hurt his eyes!

He heard one of the men grunting behind him, “Let’s see what he has.”

His arms were held tightly behind his back. He felt them going into his pockets. They yanked the necklace off his neck so hard that it hurt him for a few seconds.

The chain was gold. It was of no power to him because it was something that his mother had him wear to fit in.

Earthlings loved jewelry. It was one thing that he remembered her saying. They liked the gleam of what they called “gold” down here and she was right.

Was she right about a lot of things? How they were all mean? He didn’t know, but right now he knew she was right about these men.

They brought him to his feet and started walking him towards the water. Both of them were wearing shorts but didn’t have shirts or shoes.

  Maybe th
at’s how they lived.

X-Jorn knew one thing—he was being robbed! He had seen it on his own planet. He had watched Angry Queen do it a time or two when they were all under her power.

She had to in order to survive, which is what she had told him back then. He was little at the time but remembered it like it was yesterday.

He felt his shoes and jeans getting wet; the water felt really cold on his skin through the clothing.

It was when they were getting ready to shove his head under the water that he felt the urge. He knew he had to do something… anything!

They were going to try to drown him or try to kill him some other way. He was going to die on Earth if he didn’t do something soon! The last thing he wanted to do was die. And if he were to die here then his mother would forget about taking anything of worth from this planet and probably just blow it all up on account that she had lost her one and only son.

No matter if it was his fault or not, he knew that she would protect her own. She had always done so before, even if he didn’t like the ways in which she did it.

His head was being pushed further and further under the water. He couldn’t talk, and even if he could he didn’t know their language. But he was learning fast and he figured out quickly that the men weren’t nice and were not his friends.

It was getting harder and harder to breathe.

  X-Jorn felt himself shifting.

If it was going to be him or them, it was going to be them!

He felt his ears go under the water.

He heard the men laughing even though the sound was muffled. Such a strange sound to his ears. His ears weren’t meant to be covered but at the same time there was nothing he could do about it.

  It was time.

X-Jorn figured the only one that was going to save him was himself. Something that he should’ve known all along without any help from his mother.

As he began to shift he felt his muscles clenching and his color beginning to change. He heard something else.

He heard a soft voice and soon he felt himself coming up out of the water. He felt himself getting back on his feet.
