Ensnare: The Librarian's Lover Box Set
Page 9
"You. . .you fell in love with me at first sight?" I guessed.
"Exactly. I harbored these emotions in private, understanding that a teacher couldn't have a relationship with a student. That changed on the last day of my time at the library. I made one last catalog of the books, but something happened when I touched this book." He tapped his finger on the open pages. "A bolt of electricity shot through me, and my-well, shall we say lust for you increased tenfold, and this book promised to fulfill my dream."
I inched myself away from him. "The book promised me to you?" I wondered.
"Yes. You see, this is an Ensnarement book. It helps humans find their one true love. All you have to do is bind your soul to it and it will find that person. I already knew who I wanted, so there was only a matter of convincing you I was the one."
"Binding your soul? Ensnarement?" I repeated. And I thought I'd gone mad.
"First, though, I had to be patient. It was only months later that I dared steal it from the library. Then I willingly bound my soul to it and dropped it in the drop slot. You found it pretty quick, and the rest is history."
I jumped up and took a couple steps back from him. "Are you mad? You bound your soul to this possessed thing so you could get me? You forced this thing on me and had it attack me-"
"Attack you?" he wondered. There was a wide grin on his lips. "Do you really believe that? Do you think all those times you made love were attacks?"
"The book drugged me! I didn't know what I was doing!" I protested.
"Of course you did. You were following your soul. That's the trick with this book." He picked it up and held it shut by the spine. "If the book doesn't believe you're worthy then nothing would have happened. But it did, and here we are." Me, stuck in a guy's house with his possessed-book cohort.
I slowly shook my head. "You can't be serious. This is some joke, isn't it? All of that story? That book? It's all just a prank, right?"
Jonathon stood and tossed the book on the couch. He held out his hands to me. "This isn't a joke. I do love you, and I know you love me. Why is that hard to believe?"
"Because after these last four days everything's hard to believe," I replied. I ran a shaking hand through my hair and tears of frustration spilled over my eyes. "I don't know what to believe or what I'm doing anymore, and I'm so tired." I burst out crying, and he stepped up and wrapped his arms around me.
"That's enough of that," he gently scolded me. "You don't have to doubt your sanity. You were right all along." He pulled me to arms' length and caught my eyes with his. "You're a beautiful, witty young woman, and you don't deserve the loneliness you've felt. I'm here to drive that away." He reached up and wiped a tear from my cheek.
I smiled at the gallant act. "You did everything just to get plain old me?"
He chuckled. "You're not plain anymore, not that you ever were. The book brings out the beauty inside a person and shows it in their physical form by changing their body." He looked me over and wagged his eyebrows. "I'd say it's changed you for the better." I blushed and covered my chest with my arms. He shook his head and pulled them away. "None of that. I won't have secrets between us."
I raised an eyebrow. "You mean not anymore?" I teased.
"No, and I don't think we need this book anymore, either." Jonathon turned around and paused. I turned back to me with a puzzled expression. "I did toss it on the couch, didn't I?"
"Yeah, why?" I looked past him and saw the couch was empty. The book had vanished. "Should we worry?" I asked him.
Jonathon smiled and shook his head. "No, I think we're done with it." He turned back to me. "After all, I have what I want. Are you happy?"
I admired his strong physique and looked over his handsome face. "No, I'm not," I replied.
He frowned. "What's wrong?"
I stepped up to him and drew a finger down his shirt. "You're dressed."
A grin slipped onto his lips. "So are you."
I reached up and unbuttoned the top button of my shirt. My thick, full breasts pushed out and were an appetizing sight to him. At least, I could tell that from the drool in his eyes. He clutched my upper arms and leaned forward to plant soft, hot kisses down my neck. My flesh quivered and I wrapped my arms around him. It felt good to feel my partner, my lover, my god.
He lowered me to the carpet and ground his hips against mine. I moaned when I felt his need push against me. He lifted his head and looked into my eyes with a wild, feral stare. "One other benefit from the book I forgot to mention," he spoke up.
I squirmed as my body ached for his touch. "What's that?" I whispered.
He leaned back his head and closed his eyes. Mine widened when I noticed his shirt bulge out in certain points, and in a moment his shirt burst open to reveal large, dark tendrils. They poured from his chest and back, and wrapped themselves around me. "It's made me one hell of a lover," he growled.
I gasped as the tendrils touched and glided over my tingling flesh. They tore at my clothes and tossed them aside. More tendrils broke from Jonathon's body, ripping his clothes apart and scattering them around the room. Jonathon leaned down and covered his shadowed body with mine. His lips suckled at my pert breasts while his tendrils covered me with their hot, hard bodies.
We rubbed our naked bodies against each other and I groaned when I felt him penetrate me. He thrust hard and fast into me while his other limbs penetrated every crevice and crease of my flesh. I was encased in a blanket of seduction and fell completely into the lustful desires stoked within me by the tendrils and their human master. Our heated bodies slid against each other. We were soaked by sweat and wrapped around each other so tight air couldn't have existed between us. My body tensed and shuddered with the pleasures caused by the tendrils. Jonathon held me tight in his arms and groaned in my ear.
I moaned and screamed with each thrust. The desire was maddening. I was awash in pleasure, but I craved satisfaction. I lusted for completion, for this bliss they promised.
"Take me harder," I whispered into his ear. "Oh god, please faster." He grunted and thrust faster into me. His thick, hard cock filled my body with pleasure. My swollen breasts rubbed against his tight, tense chest. I arched my back and allowed him a better angle and deeper penetration. "Yes! More!" I pleaded.
My lust brought out the shadows within me and they mingled with his. My eyes widened as I was thrust into higher world of pleasure. My senses felt, sensed, and experienced all of him at the same time. His strong muscles, his thrusting hips, his sweat-soaked thighs. I missed nothing. He grunted and pushed hard into me, penetrating me to the very tip of himself.
My eyes widened and I clung onto him as he sent me into a world of dizzying fulfillment. A blinding light filled my vision and I groped for his back, needing an anchor to keep me from floating away. He thrust into me again and again. Waves crashed against me, and I squirmed and screamed my delight. Our tendrils whipped into the air and slid against each other. They were a clinging mass of wild lovemaking.
I don't know how long I stayed in that bliss, but I collapsed back to earth in a mess of exhausted limbs and gasping breath. Jonathon collapsed on top of me, and we lay still for a very long time. Then Jonathon slowly rose onto his arms and smiled down at me. His face was aglow with our lovemaking and his hair stuck out in every direction. His body was covered in sweat, but the tendrils were gone, returned to our bodies. He'd never looked more handsome.
"Looks like both of us are good lovers," he commented.
I grinned. "You're not the only one still semi-possessed by a demonic book," I teased.
He chuckled. "No, and I wouldn't have it any other way."
I wrapped my arms around his neck and sighed. "Neither would I, but now what do we do?"
"We make love all night and get married in a couple of weeks. Just so people aren't too surprised," he told me.
"And then?"
"We live happily ever after. With the creature inside of us, of course."
I laughed and nodded. "Of course."
