Victor drummed his fingers on the table as his mind processed the information. “So, you’re going to take one of our most compliant citizens and turn them against us so that we can have a rebellion leader?”

Dr. Retta shrugged. “She has to be believable. The people need to believe they are victorious and that they have beat us.”

Victor interjected. “How are we going to shift her moral compass against the State?”

Dr. Rhetta’s eyes brightened. “As I said. She loves structure and rules, that is what we will tamper with. She has another trait which we can use to our advantage: she has a terrible temper. Once her world falls apart, her rage will guide her.”

It all started to come together. He could see the wisdom of her plan, and part of him even believed it would work.

“It sounds like fun.” He smiled and nodded. “So, what are we going to do to piss her off?”
