Agamon sensed the pieces sliding into place.

Still unable to fully reach this world, he could briefly touch the minds of those in the underworld and those who worshipped him.

The three had been disposable, but Mikel had been a loss. If he’d escaped with his life, he might have once again proved useful. It was a shame, but not worth dwelling on.

  He served his purpose.

From the way his prison flexed and shook, he knew the magic being wielded had been impressive. Powerful enough to create the tiniest crack between this world and another, darker world. That had been his true aim.

He would leave his prison, conquer this world, and seek vengeance on those who had locked him away. But first…

First, demons will come forth, wreaking their terror and destruction.

By the time Agamon arrived, this world would be begging for him.

  About the Author

Christina Garner began writing stories at the age of six. Her first—about a young girl who busted up a nefarious ring of furniture thieves—was a huge hit with her mother.

Since then she has written and directed 10 short films and penned several novels, including the completed Gateway Trilogy. She is currently working on her new series, The Witches of Coventry House.

Christina lives in Los Angeles and when she's not writing novels spends her time traveling, watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer reruns, and playing with her dog, Griffin.
