“I love you, too,” he said.
Tears sprung to Willow’s eyes. He had heard her this morning when she thought he was sleeping. He loved her too. His green eyes were looking at her with a love and devotion she had almost given up on. She was glad she didn’t. He meant this. He loved her.
“I want to keep you forever,” Derek continued, holding perfectly still. “I don’t want to live without you, and I want to please you for the rest of my life.”
“Derek,” Willow whispered, reaching her hands up and clasping them around the back of his neck. The reassuring buzz of energy from his Lunas Sigil spread through her fingertips, down her arms, and through her entire body.
“You’re mine,” she said, “and you always will be.”
Derek kissed her, and then he kissed her happy tears away from her cheeks. He even landed soft kisses on her eyelids. He made a few more shallow thrusts with his hips, pushing himself inside of her gently, allowing her to adjust to his size since she was so tight. He filled her up in a way nothing ever had. Right now, everything was perfect.
He thrust into her hard. He continued moving faster and harder. Willow’s hands clawed at his back as she screamed his name and how much she loved him. She came for the third time, and Derek jerked inside of her, filling her with what seemed like never ending waves of warmth. He kept thrusting into her in time with her aftershocks until he was finally spent.
He pulled out, and she guided him to lie on top of her, so she could feel their chests pressed together, their heartbeats synchronized. He kissed her gently.
“My mate,” Willow said between kisses as she wrapped her arms around him.
“Completely yours,” Derek agreed. “In every way.”
