  “Working order, huh?”

“Yep.” I glanced around the hallway before brushing my hand over his crotch. “I’m guessing yours just might pass inspection this time.”

We made into my room as our clothes came off, hitting the floor. I pushed him back against the bed, covering his mouth with mine. This was our first time together, and I needed it to be hard and fast.

Keeping my lips in place, I felt around with my hand for the box of condoms. Finding them, I was quick to rip the package open and had it over his long, thick member in a matter of seconds.

  “Roxie…” he started to protest.

“Shh. We can take it slow later. For now, I need you to fill me up, Kelly.”

“Yes, ma’am.” He grinned and thrust his hips upward, making me gasp with pleasure.

“More.” I braced my knees on the bed, giving him a little more room to pull out before he continued with long, agonizing strokes.

He found a rhythm of slowly thrusting, and then withdrawing that was making me wiggle on his cock, but seemed hesitant to do anything else.

I had to remember that although we’d been lovers, he didn’t really know my body or how to make me scream. So I took his hand and pulled it down between us, causing him to groan.

“Roxie, you’re so wet.” His finger slipped around my inner lips that were hugging his cock.

  “It’s because you’re so hard. Don’t stop.”

  “Is this right?”

“If I’m moaning, then you must be headed in the right direction.” I took my hands and gripped my breasts, tweaking my nipples as he found my nub.

“That’s it.” I was moving up and down, working my wet slit on his cock as he rubbed his thumb in a circle, building up the pressure.

I could feel it coming, and knew that I wanted him to come with me, so I started sliding up and down his cock, faster and faster.

“Ahh,” he groaned. “I’m gonna come.”

With an extra burst of speed, I clenched my inner walls and let the energy building up inside of me go just as he started to jerk. Each one sent me that much higher, and I gripped his arms, leaving little fingernail marks on his skin.

“Oh my God,” he gasped. “That was amazing.”

I collapsed onto his chest as tiny shudders continued to run through my body. “If that’s what we come up with on the first try, I can’t wait for the second round.”

Kelly chuckled, continuing to slowly thrust into me.

“Ah,” I groaned. “No fair. Your recovery time is much better than mine.”

With a kiss, he pulled out, rolling me onto my back. As he took the condom to the trash and washed off with a few paper towels, I watched his perfectly toned body.

If only I could have an ass like that, I thought with a twinge of jealousy.

“Why are you looking at me like that?” He’d caught me staring, which must have been a little more predatory than I’d intended.

“Because I plan to eat you up. Remember, I’ve learned a few tricks over the past semester.” I patted the bed next to me.

“Really? Well then, I might have to have a demonstration,” he challenged with a bounce onto the bed.

“First, we have to do an equipment check.” I ran my hand up and down his already firm member.

  “Uh-huh. Then what?”

“A taste test.” My tongue shot out to catch the drop of pre-cum on the tip of his cock. “Mmm…tasty.” I ran my tongue around the top as my hand cupped his balls, rolling them around gently with a slight amount of pressure.

My finger moved underneath to touch the sensitive area between his balls and cock, causing him to groan.

I squeezed a little harder as I took the entire tip inside my mouth and began to suck while my tongue swirled around the head.

“Roxie.” He clutched at the pillows under his head.

With a pop, I released him. “Yes?” I asked.

His eyes opened. “Don’t stop, for God’s sake. Don’t stop.”

“Yes, sir.” I grinned, licking my lips before I descended on my own personal lollypop.

The brief respite had brought him out of the moment, and I had to start all over again, which meant that he would last much longer this time.

When he came, it was with such force that I could feel it on the back of my throat.

His fingers brushed the stray hair that was covering my face as I licked my lips, making sure that I didn’t waste any.

“Roxie, you continue to amaze me. Now, come here.” He motioned to his mouth.

Kelly had been the first one to go down on me when all the others were with us, and I couldn’t wait for a repeat performance.

Straddling his face, I jumped when his tongue touched my already sensitive nub. His hands roamed up my legs as he pinned them to the bed so I didn’t knee him in the face.

“Relax, it’s time for me to return the favor. You can always scratch up the wall if you need to brace yourself.”

“Ha-ha, right. Are you going to pay for the repairs when I move out?”

“Flip around like we’re 69ing, and you can leave all the marks you want on my thighs.”

“You just worry about you, and I’ll worry about where I leave my marks.” I barely had the words out when he licked me.

I placed my palms flat against the wall as each time his tongue touched me, it sent tremors through my body. “Mmm,” I muttered, relishing in how wonderful it felt.

When I was with the guys, I wasn’t self-conscious. I was able to focus on the moment.

Kelly took his time sucking and licking, first around my inner lips, and then using his tongue to swirl around my nub.

“Agh!” I cried out, forgetting we were in the dorm. “Kelly.”

He cupped my ass, pushing his tongue deeper, increasing the heat gathering. Sensing that I was almost there, he nipped at my nub—not quite biting it, but grazing it with his teeth.

My nails dug into the wall as I tried not to scream again, letting the orgasm take over my body. As the waves slowed in intensity, I slid backward, completely limp.

“Yep, you were right. That was amazing.” I hardly even stirred when Kelly got up to clean me up.

He slipped his clothes on, leaving his pants on the floor nearby in case my roommate came back early. He joined me at the foot of the bed under the covers.

“Are you warm enough?” he asked, nuzzling my neck.

“Mmhmm,” I mumbled, too tired to really comment.

“So Carter gave all of this up for Texas, huh?” Kelly shook his head in wonder.

If he said anything else, I didn’t hear it because I was out.

  Chapter Three

  Kelly

The first few weeks flew by quickly with work and school. Before I knew it, Roxie was pulling up to my parent’s house to drop me off.

I stood there, a little hesitant to go inside. My parents weren’t ogres or anything, but I was going to have to be very careful while on spring break.

“Hey, honey, you made it.” My mom hugged me as I walked through the door.

“Mom, it’s so good to be home. What time is our flight out?”

She ignored my question as she looked out the window.

“Who picked you up from the airport? I don’t recognize the car.”

“It was Roxie. She got a new car last summer so that she’d be able to drive back and forth from school to home to check on her mom and aunt. Mr. Parks went with her to make sure it was a good buy.”

“Well, I’m glad that she had other plans for spring break because we’d already bought our tickets to the beach.”

“Yes, she’s going to hang with Wade and the band he’s managing for the week,” I informed her.

“It’s just as well. They’re better suited for each other since they both come from poor families.”

“Mom, Wade’s family isn’t poor. You play tennis with his mother on a regular basis.”

She waved off my comment. “That’s completely different, dea
r. You know when Wade got into all that trouble…well, sometimes you have to have a little tough love before your children can learn their lesson. Thank goodness you didn’t do anything like that.” She gave my hand a reassuring pat. “It’s just as well. These things tend to work themselves out anyway. You’ll find a girl more befitting your status as a college football player. In fact, I have a few possible prospects for you to meet while we’re at the beach.”

I wished I had the guts to speak up and tell my mother that I adored Roxie. If I did that, though, she would start questioning why Roxie would be going to hang out with Wade for a week. I loved my family, but I didn’t want to have to choose yet. I knew it was the coward’s way out, but nothing I could say would change my mother’s mind anyway, and there was no point in borrowing trouble.

I spent the next several days trying to keep up appearances for my family, giving them enough information about my classes and part-time job so that they didn’t ask for more than I was willing to tell them.

A few times, my dad or brother would ask about our chances for the next season, and I’d give a non-committal reply or answer with the rumors that had been in the locker room before I’d left.

A group text from the guys helped to lift my spirits.

Carter: Hey, guys. How is spring break going?

Kelly: I’m at the beach in Virginia with my parents.

Carter: That’s no fun, but at least you’re with them. I’m on a beach missing all of you here in Texas.

Jay: At least you get a vacation. I’m working extra hours at my internship, and spring break just means more people in the emergency room that need to be fixed. No rays of sunshine for me.

Carter: I’m having trouble with all these women who keep throwing themselves at me.

Kelly: Yeah, I’ll bet that’s real difficult. I’m having a hard time knowing that Roxie’s with Wade.

Jay: I’d invite her to come stay with me, but then all she’d be able to do is stay in the apartment with my roommates while I was at work. Not much fun for her.

Wade: We’re in L.A. right now, and have a concert on Friday and Saturday before she goes back. The band just loves hanging out with her and can’t believe that she won’t leave me to date them.

Carter: At least you’re with her to keep them away.

Kelly: My mom keeps trying to set me up with appropriate young ladies. They all wear pearls, cross their legs at the ankles, and bat their eyes, hoping I say more than two words to them.

Wade: At least your mom is there trying to fix you up. Mine doesn’t know where I’m at, much less what I’m doing from day to day.

Carter: Just keep an eye on her for us. I know I chose to go to school far away, but it’s hard when I got used to having her right there with me all the time.

Kelly: You had to share at some point. We just have to figure out where she’s going to live this summer.

Wade: I’ve got that covered. She’s going to stay in my apartment for the summer and on holidays. After Carter told me that her mother had put her room in the pantry, I knew we couldn’t let her go back. My landlord is paid to keep my stuff and doesn’t care who’s actually in the garage building. She’s promised to help cover the utilities while she’s there so she’s not mooching.

Jay: As if she could ever be considered a mooch when she’s so independent. I’m glad that you got her to agree to moving in, though.

Carter: Me too. My dad and Sophia would have been thrilled to have her, but that would mean she was next door to her mother, and she needs a little space.

Kelly: Our girl works almost as hard as Jay. She puts me to shame for sure.

Jay: I’m glad that Wade convinced her to take the week off. She’s never done any of the normal fun stuff because she was always taking care of her mom and aunt. Now it’s her turn.

Wade: And on that note, I’m going to take her to the beach because she’s never seen the ocean. Laters.

We’d been at the beach for a couple of days when my parents decided that we should eat at the country club where they kept a membership. I didn’t suspect anything until another family just happened to join us. They had a daughter about my age, Jessica, who was conveniently seated next to me.

I was polite and very careful as the parents asked about my future plans.

“Where do you see yourself landing after college is over?” Mr. Barrows turned his attention to me.

“Uh, well, it’s always been the goal to get into the NFL draft and go pro. The backup plan is to find a good school to coach at. So where I’ll land is still very much up in the air right now.”

“Are you taking any business courses? I could always use someone to learn the family business if football doesn’t work the way you want it to.” He looked meaningfully at his daughter.

“I appreciate the offer, sir, but I guess we’ll just have to see where the future takes us.” It was only the first course, so there was no way I could excuse myself.

Finally, the waiters brought dessert, but I wasn’t fast enough to escape completely.

“Kelly, be a dear and take Jessica out for a stroll through the gardens. Her mother and I were just saying that we don’t have enough time for a proper tour.” My mom raised a single eyebrow that let me know this wasn’t optional.

I turned to Jessica. “Would you do me the honor of a stroll through the gardens?”

“Thank you.” She waited until I had pulled out her chair before getting up.

As soon as we were out of hearing, her shoulders slumped.

“Oh, thank goodness. Do you have a smoke? Or better yet, a joint?”

When I shook my head no, she sighed and headed toward the back where the wait staff tended to hang out.

“I was told that Steven might have something for me?”

“I’m Steven. What is it you’re needing?”

“Something to take the edge off.” Jessica pulled a wad of money out of her small purse.

“I can do something with that. Follow me.”

Steven went back inside, but turned toward a stairwell that led to a much quieter area above the kitchen.

He gave three knocks, paused, and then two more before the door opened.

I’d heard about places like this, but I’d always been the kid who stayed away from drugs and alcohol parties. Being country club kids, wine was a part of our upbringing, but we were never to overdo it.

“I’ve got…” Steven paused to get our names.

“Jessica,” my companion answered happily, ignoring me.

  “Jessica is here to party.”

She held up her money and he took it, flipping through and adding it up quickly. “If you need more, we can use my credit card.”

“This should work for a couple of hours,” Steven assured us. He backed out of the room and the bouncers closed the doors behind him.

Now I was stuck in a room with people who were snorting coke and popping pills.

“Come on, baby. Give me a tour of the garden. My daddy’s paying.” Jessica pulled me over to the couch where someone had put out a line of coke for her to use.

I couldn’t believe this was who my parents wanted me to date and eventually marry.

Since I had walked out with her, I waited until she was completely out of it, and then I helped her outside. With her phone, I ordered us a car to take her back to her parents, and then to drop me off at the hotel with mine.

It was only midnight, and my parents were still up watching TV in the suite when I walked in.

“Well, how did it go?” My mother sat up hopefully.

“Great, Mom. It was just great, right up until the point where she found someone to sell her coke that she shot up. I waited until she needed a ride home and got her to the hotel she’s staying at.” I shook my head in disgust before going into the room I was sharing with my brother.

“Found out that she wasn’t what the parents thought she was, huh?” He chuckled softly because Mom had ears that could pick up anything.

&n
bsp; “I was under no illusions, but if taking a walk was what Mom wanted, then it didn’t hurt to try. I’ll ask more questions in the future.”

“She has dates planned for the next several days.”

I sank to the bed with my head in my hands. “How am I going to get through it?”

“One date at a time,” my brother snickered.

Throwing a pillow at him, I went to shower off the dirty feeling I had from being in that room full of people doing drugs.

Mom at least listened partly to what I’d said that night, and the next two dates went a little better.

There was Patricia, who was in her second year of Harvard, on the way to becoming a literary student. She was much nicer than Jessica had been, but she continued to talk in a condescending manner that was annoying. Whenever she would use a quote from some English book, I could only look at her blankly.

I was only a football student that was taking basic classes. I hadn’t even qualified for the waitlist at a school like Harvard. Thankfully, I bored her so much that she excused herself and went to find someone else to talk to.

Tracy was almost perfect, except for the fact that I was in love with someone else. We chatted for an hour, and then a friend came to meet her. As I said my goodbyes, her friend came up and greeted her with a kiss. I was happy to tell my mother that her interest was with someone else.

My mother would have had other people set up to meet me if she’d have had more time, but all I could do was sigh in relief.

My brother Jared and I snuck out of our hotel room early the next morning, conveniently forgetting our phones to lay out on the beach, working on our tans and far away from scheming parents.

On the way to the airport, my mother gave us the silent treatment, which she thought was a punishment, but was instead a blessing.

She relented when we got off the plane in time for our goodbyes.

“Take care of yourself and call home more often,” she admonished before placing a kiss on my cheek.

Dad held out his hand. “Kick some ass on the practice field, okay?”

I nodded and waved as I made the way toward a gate on the opposite side of the airport, waiting for Roxie to land so we could head back to school.
