  Chapter Eight

  Omega

  A Prince for Christmas

  December 16, 2019

  8:38 a.m.

I have never had so much fun with a woman. We end up playing spades until two a.m. and talking about life and philosophy. Conversation with Astalia is intriguing. She’s a deep thinker and cares immensely about the plight of other people. Some of the things that tug her heartstrings are homelessness, victims of sexual violence, and high murder rates. I have a theory this compassionate trait is the reason she cares so much about what others think of her. She cares so much she puts her own feelings last.

After we talk until we can’t keep our eyes open any longer, we fall asleep in the living room, her on the sofa and me on the recliner next to her.

I open my eyes when the sun peeps in so bright I know I overslept. The coffee table is clear of the playing cards, wine glasses and empty bowls from last night. The only sign that someone is in the house with me comes from the strong smell of coffee.

“You sleep pretty hard,” she says walking out of the kitchen, wearing pink leggings and a long sweater. “If I were a criminal, I could have robbed you blind by now.”

“But you’re not a criminal,” I say. However, it’s apparent she has what it takes to steal hearts. Mine is nearly gone just from simply seeing her standing in my living room this morning. “Did you shower already?” I ask, taking note of her change of clothes as I stretch my arms and yawn.

She sits down on the lounger beside the sofa, crosses her legs and takes a sip of her steaming coffee. “I’ve gone to the gym, showered, cleaned up our mess, and made a pot of coffee,” she says holding up a black mug. “Oh, and I hope you don’t mind, but I took your key off your chain so I could let myself back in without waking you.”

I sit up straight on the sofa and look at her. “It’s fine that you took the key, but I’m not okay with you going out so early in the morning by yourself?”

“I usually start my day at about six a.m., no matter what time I go to sleep, so I—”

“Listen, I don’t want anything to happen to you, so as long as you’re with me, don’t leave the house alone.” It comes out as a firm command because I don’t want anything to happen to her, and I don’t think she understands how vulnerable she is walking around in the darkness in Atlanta.

She shrugs and replies, “Why? I’ve been on my own for a while, so I can handle it. I’m a big girl.”

Astalia straddling me and moving on top of me as we kissed comes to mind. She is a full-grown woman, and this much I know. Still, the thought of something happening to her, and especially another man touching her, sends hot blood coursing through my veins.

“Oh, trust me, Astalia. I know you’re a big girl, but I just don’t want you to leave out before the sun is out without me watching you to your car, at least.”

“You don’t have to worry about me. I—”

I walk over to her and take her in my arms. “Did you at least leave a note in case something unexpected happened while you were out?”

  “No.”

I look down into her stern brown eyes. “Another no-no. I know you’re used to being on your own, but when you’re with me, I’m looking out for you, so don’t leave me without letting me know where you are please.”

Astalia steps out of my arms and walks over to put her coffee cup down onto the table. She sits on the sofa and stares at me until I come to sit beside her. She then runs her hand across my chest. This subtle move calms me instantly.

“Listen, I came back to hang out with you for a little while longer, not to get chastised.” She smiles brightly, and everything is alright in my world again.

“Let me be here for you, Astalia.” I stare into her eyes, trying to get her to understand the meaning of my words. I don’t want her trying to go out alone, not while I’m right here with her.

Her eyes soften after a few moments of reluctance. “I will let you know when I’m leaving out, okay?”

“Deal. So, you’re really leaving me again this morning?” I ask, already feeling the loss.

“Yes. Rena texted me while I was at the gym, and she wants to go Christmas shopping,” she says.

  “They’re back from their honeymoon?”

“They got back yesterday, and we have a lot of catching up to do. Plus, it’s a tradition for us to go Christmas shopping every year.”

“I guess I can handle you being gone for a little while,” I kid, and I’m rewarded with a small smile playing on her mouth. “While you’re out, I’ll grade finals then holler at Keith.”

“Do you still want me to come back tonight?”

Our eyes meet, and I see the uncertainty that was there the first time we met. I have a long way to go in showing her how much I want her here. “Of course, I want you to come back, Astalia. Actually, I don’t want you to leave, but you’re going to hook up with Rena, and I guess I will allow that.”

“Well, thank you, sir.” She laughs and pokes my shoulder. “I have a few hours before I meet up with her. We’re getting together around eleven, so in the meantime, I’m all yours.”

For a moment, I stare into her eyes intently. “All mine?” I ask, insinuating how dangerously serious those two words could be if I were left to interpret them myself.

“We can watch a movie, or I could whip you in spades again,” she says with a smile spreading across her angelic face.

“I should take you up on another game of cards so I can shut down your bragging rights, but let’s watch a movie. Pick something, and I’ll be right back.” I get up from the sofa and walk to the bathroom, but not before looking back at Astalia, who bends over in front of the TV right at that moment to pick up the remote. Her pink leggings grip her luscious thighs and sends blood rushing to my dick. I back out of the room and down the hallway. “Down boy,” I tell the bulge in my pants that’s dying to be buried inside of her.

“Do you want to watch a comedy or something romantic, or what?” she yells from the living room.

The sound of her voice makes my erection stiffen harder. I cuff it into my hand, in an attempt to control the throbbing, and walk into the bathroom. “Just choose something you want to see,” I say, not caring as long as she’s happy.

“Okay,” she says. “I’ll find a Christmas movie.”

  “Cool.”

I turn on the water and brush my teeth then take a quick shower. Images of Astalia straddling me, her tongue exploring my mouth, licking my lips and kissing me with the same passion we shared this morning come to mind. My hand instantly covers my dick. I begin to stroke it. I’m near the brink of release but don’t want to cum from just thinking about being with her. Oh no, I want my release to come when I’m deep inside of her. It’s not an option, so I shut off the water and get out. So much for a shower to cool me down.

After dressing in another pair of gray joggers and a white “No Boundaries” t-shirt, I go into the kitchen to get a cup of coffee and heat up a breakfast bowl. It’s not what I want to eat—I want to feast on Astalia Morgan—but this breakfast bowl will give me fuel for the day.

“Have you eaten?” I yell from the kitchen.

“Yes, I had some fruit at the gym.”

“Do you want some of this?” I offer when I sit down beside her on the couch with the breakfast bowl of grits, eggs, cheese, and bacon.

She gives it an inspection, then shakes her head. “No. I’m not really a breakfast person. Look, I found the perfect movie for us to watch.”

I chuckle at the title and can’t resist teasing her about it. “A Prince for Christmas? This is the Christmas movie you want to watch?”

“I want to watch it, yeah,” she counters with a mischievous grin playing on her mouth. It’s adorable she’s still a child at heart.

I lean forward to eat and she rubs my back. Simply her touch is enough to send my blood rushing south, so I abandon eating, lean back on the sofa and pull her into my arms.

An hour later, the credits begin
to roll for A Prince for Christmas. It’s actually not a bad movie, but I can’t help but take advantage of the situation. “You owe me another kiss for sitting through this mushy movie with you,” I whisper close to her ear as she cuddles in my arms.

She smiles as she looks at me. That’s when I notice she has tears in her eyes. “I thought you said I could watch whatever I wanted,” she says.

“I did, but you picked the mushiest movie on Netflix. I deserve a kiss for sitting through the entire thing, and you need this kiss because it made you cry.”

Astalia palms the sides of my face into her soft hands, pulling my lips to hers. I do what I have been wanting to do all morning; ease her down onto the sofa until I’m on top of her. A slow and sensual dance occurs between us. We’re body to body, once again, and the scalding heat from her pussy has my dick about to burst out of my pants. The thought of how hot and tight she will be makes me want to be inside of her right now. I run my hand down her taut thighs and back up to her breasts, never breaking our kiss. A low moan escapes her just as her phone rings causing her to go limp beneath me.

“Don’t answer it.” We are breath to breath, and I don’t want to lose this connection. “Whoever it is, you can call them back later.”

“But it’s Rena. I’m supposed to be meeting her right now.”

“You’re where you’re supposed to be right now. With me. Stay.”

  “But—”

I lower my lips onto hers, cutting her off. Once again, I claim her lips and bring us to a scorching moment of desire where the outside world doesn't matter. Her phone buzzes again, but I’m determined not to let her go.

She pulls back slightly. “Let me at least tell her I’m not coming.”

“Okay—” I give her only enough leeway to grab the buzzing phone off the coffee table so she can talk to Rena.

Astalia unlocks her phone and looks at me with her dark eyes slanted with want and desire. It takes everything in me not to ease her phone from her hand, take her clothes off, and make heated love to her.

“I have to go, Omega.” Astalia shows me a picture of Rena standing outside of the mall with a text that says ‘waiting on you.’

I back away from her and sit on the couch. “Go, but we’re picking up where we left off when you get back home,” I tell her, and I’m sure the look in my eyes tells her how much I don’t want her to leave. But, I’m willing to let her go for as long as she needs for this shopping trip with Rena.

Her eyes slant as she asks, “Get back home?”

“When you get back here,” I correct, realizing it hasn’t been a full day since she’s been here, but I already feel comfortable enough to call my apartment her home. Maybe I do need the time we’re about to spend apart so that I can regroup. I’m falling hard and fast for this beautiful woman. She has a story behind her eyes that makes me want to be there for her in ways I have never been for another woman.

She gets to her feet and announces, “I’ll come back tonight then.”

I frown, and I’m sure crease marks crumple my forehead. “Tonight?” It’s only eleven a.m. Tonight seems like an eternity away.

“Yes, I know it seems like a long time, but Christmas shopping with Rena is an all-day thing. We literally shop until we drop.” She smiles. “Do you still want me to spend the night if we get back late? ”

“I think you know the answer to that.” If she doesn’t, the bulge in my pants should tell her I don’t even want her to leave, so I definitely want her back here as soon as possible. “But in case you don’t.” I stand up and pull her into my arms, so she can feel what she has done to me. Palming the sides of her face, I crook my neck so that our lips touch. She tastes so sweet and tender; I could just stand here and kiss her all day long.

“I’ll be back,” she assures me when I let her go. She backs away from me, not breaking eye contact.

  “I’ll be waiting.”

  Chapter Nine

  Astalia

  Mesmerized by Him

  December 16, 2019

  6:51 p.m.

“Oh, Omega! Give me that big dick!” I scream from the pit of my soul. I have never had a man so deep inside of me that it felt as if he is extracting the breath from my body with each pump. “Don’t you fucking stop! Fuck me like I’m your little whore that I am. I will be whatever you want me to be!”

I’m sprawled across the back of my sofa. He’s standing behind me holding onto my waist and pounding into me from behind, growling out explicative after explicative. “Your pussy is so good. The best! Oh, shit, baby!”

“The best, huh? No, I’m the only pussy this dick can ever touch again. The only one! You hear me?” I yell at him as I begin to rub my clit and throw my ass back on him, catching his rhythm. “This feels so good… I’m about to explode, but I don’t want to stop. I want this feeling to last forever!”

“Give it to me, Astalia. Give daddy that good pussy! And I’ll give you this good dick, forever,” he growls out.

And I do, thrusting backwards into him, giving him all that I have to give, and he takes all that he can take.

“Cum inside of me,” I say when I feel like I’m about to release, and he is pumping in and out of me so hard and fast that I feel faint.

“Mmmmm!” he moans as his hot seed coats my inner walls and trembles ripple through me with the power of an earthquake.

“You’re mine,” I tell him. “I’m never letting you go. You are mine…you are mine… you are mine… you are mine…”

My eyes burst open. I wake up, screaming at the top of my lungs, “You are mine!”

I look around my living room, realizing I am, in fact, at my apartment, but I’m alone. There are no clothes on the floor. No lamp shades knocked over or pillows tossed from the sofa. No aftereffects of steamy sex between me and Omega. Most importantly, there is no Omega. However, the words I used to so possessively claim Omega in my dream continue to vibrate in my mind.

  You are mine.

Obviously, a part of me is using that dream to tell me something; something I’m not ready to face. A psychiatrist would have a field day with that… if I was willing to talk about it with anyone else. I must’ve fallen asleep after coming home to drop off the items I picked up while out shopping with Rena. The last thing I remember is sitting down on the sofa to rest for a minute. Then, I wake up proclaiming he’s mine.

  “Wow, what a dream!”

I hop up from the sofa and go into the bathroom to splash my face with cold water. Then, I head into the kitchen to get a bottle of water. I need to cool down, and this is the best way to do it. Next step is a cold shower.

The heated moments I’ve spent with Omega have led me to the point of seeing him in my dreams. It feels like we’re actually getting to know each other in the little time we have shared. I’m afraid of getting attached too fast. Now, he has followed me into my dreams.

Now that I’m awake, I can still feel him all over me. This is too much too fast for me. I am supposed to be going back to his house, but I need a moment to think.

Thinking of how Omega makes me feel wanted and desired, I feel I could actually let my guard down and depend on someone to be there for me. But I have only known him for one day. Well, technically one week, if I count meeting him at Rena’s wedding.

Rena swears Omega is a good man with a good heart. She says he has spent most of his time over the past few years focused on getting his doctorate degree. Admittedly, she has never seen him in a committed relationship but makes it clear her eyes have never seen him mistreat a woman. According to her, he operates with class, and I can believe that about him.

I lay on the sofa and turn on Netflix when I should be heading back to his house, but it’s safe to assume that I’m prolonging the inevitable. Is it nerves? Hell yeah, it’s nerves.

There has to be a good movie on that will distract me from my thoughts. While I search the lists of genres, I have to force myself to remember one very important detail; being with Omega is an arrangement
. At times like this, I wish college was in session. At least, then work would distract me.

I turn on the movie Holiday Rush, and in no time, I am laughing at this family who falls on misfortune right before Christmas. The rich kids are adjusting to living under the same roof as their auntie after their father is forced to sell their home to put up the money for his business. He just lost his high-paying job as a radio DJ, and now they have to learn how to live a regular life. It’s hilarious listening to their complaints, which are everyday living issues for most people, but to them, it’s devastating.

“These kids are hilarious!” I say, cuddling with the pink mink blanket on the sofa. It feels good to have a regular moment, not yearning to see Omega. Just when the movie gets to the part I’ve been waiting on—the single dad is about to kiss his production manager—my phone rings. It’s Mom, who’s likely about to undo my good mood.

“Hello,” I answer, still trying to catch some feels from the kiss happening on the TV screen. Shows like this remind me that I have never had a man of my own to look at me like that. The one time I was in a serious relationship, it was serious because my then-boyfriend manipulated me at every turn, and at times resorted to violence to keep me under his control. That experience turned me off from relationships. Seriously dating after that has been a no-go. Mom thinks I should bounce back already, but it’s easier said than done.

“Hey, Astalia, I was just calling to see what you were doing. I haven’t talked to you since last week. Are you okay?” I hear the concern in her voice.

“Yes, I’ve just been a little busy with Christmas parties at work and things like that. It seems every department head wants to throw a Christmas party.” Which is only more occasions I have to show up to watch everyone be with someone they love.
