Jace's Pet

He slammed his fists into the steering wheel, made a rapid U-turn in the middle of the vacant road, and headed back to the dumpy little farm house. He knew he shouldn't have left Rose alone, but he had gotten angry at the idea of her with someone else. He wasn't going to let that happen, he couldn't. She belonged to him. Sooner or later she would figure that out. When he pulled up to the house, he had barely parked before jumping out of the truck.
"The fuck is your problem? Lover's quarrel?" Axel rolled his eyes, a coil of rope in his hand.
"Shut the fuck up." He growled and stormed inside.
"Hey, you're alright. I've got you."
Jace paused in the middle of the hallway. That was Raiden's voice and there was only one other person he could be talking to. He gritted his teeth together, his hands curling into fists. He found Rose on the ground, tears in her eyes and a frantic expression on her face. Raiden was crouched down next to her, one arm draped over her shoulders and the other on her arm closest to him.
"What the fuck are you two doing?"
"Jace-" Raiden's jaw dropped, unsure of what to say.
"Ther-There are a ton of spiders in there!" Rose cried out and pointed a shaky finger into the tiny, dark space. "I walked right into a web!" Her voice a whimper as she scratched at her still crawling skin.
"Seriously?" The corner of Jace's mouth twitched into a smile. "You're much bigger than they are."
He stepped past the two, ignoring the fact that Raiden's hand remained on Rose, and peered into the room. He couldn't see much and brushed away the broken web to turn on the lights. The whole room began to move as soon as he did, millions of quarter-sized spiders fleeing into the corners and cracks. His jaw dropped for a moment, he wasn't sure he had ever seen that many spiders in one place before.
"Holy fuck!" He burst out and took a step back.
"I told you!" Rose sobbed. "And I walked through one!"
"Then they are probably all over you." Jace smirked as he glanced at her.
"Don't say that!" Rose screamed and scouted closer to Raiden. "I don't like spiders!"
Jace rolled his eyes and sighed. Spiders didn't bother him and he didn't fully understand why so many people feared them but he wasn't going to force her to clean out a room filled with them. He came back over to the two and scooped Rose off the floor, breaking Raiden's contact with her and let his eyes wonder over her small frame.
"I don't see any, you should be fine."
"I hope so." She murmured, unable to look at him.
"So, what are we going to do about the bathroom?" Raiden stood up and stretched out his back.
"No idea." Jace headed down the hall.
Jace peered down at Rose, her hands were folded over her stomach and her head was down. She was focusing on keeping as little contact with him as possible as well as refusing to look at him. It irritated him. Everything about today was irritating. He wanted to have some fun and get back at her a little.
"Spider!"
"Where?" Rose screamed and squirmed in his arms.
Jace easily held on to her and tickled under her knee. She screamed out again and clung onto his shoulders.
"Kill it! Kill it!" She dug her nails into his back.
"I'm kidding!" He chuckled, his head turning toward her and nipping at her ear. "Stop letting other guys touch you." He whispered.
"That- That's not fair." She breathed out, her nails digging deeper into him.
Jace groaned into her ear, she had no idea what she was doing to him. He could feel his member jumping to life, preparing itself for her. His mind played images of her naked, chained to a bed and moaning his name. Her pale skin covered in dark kiss marks. His marks. The smell of her skin filled his nose and his mouth was eager to be on hers. He let out another chuckle and wrapped his arms tighter around her.
"I'd stop if I were you."
"Stop what?" She hadn't recovered from her spider scare.
"Your nails."
"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you."
"You didn't." He mumbled and set her down.
She had a confused look on her face but he didn't want to address what was going on in his pants. He turned from her and noticed the empty room at the front of the house that was now clean.
"Looks good. We could set up some air mattresses in here."
"You have those?"
"We can't always find a place with beds, love." Raiden came up from behind Rose.
She craned her neck to peer up at him. Jace didn't even want her eyes on anyone else but held himself back. He tossed the truck keys to Raiden and told him to grab three of the beds and get them ready. When it was only him and Rose, he turned to her. Even though none of them had showered for a while, she was beautiful. Her long hair in a slight mess that hung well past her shoulder. Her dress, now dirty from cleaning, showed off every small curve she had. She definitely wasn't anything like Savannah, she was better. She would be the one to bring him back to reality, to save him. She had to.
"Did you clean any other rooms yet?"
"No. I wanted to get the bathroom done next. I need to shower."
"Yea, I need to, too." He scratched the back of his head, he was getting rather greasy.
Raiden came back in shortly after he left with three poorly re-packed air mattresses. He dropped all three of them in the center of the room and started pulling each one out. There was an electric pump crammed into one of the boxes that fell out as the plastic bed was being removed.
"Rose, clean one of the bedrooms. I'll work on the bathroom."
"You're really going to go in there?" Rose gawked at him.
"Spiders don't scare me, bunny." He winked at her, then went back to the bathroom to check things out.
From what he could tell, the bathroom was a perfect place for spiders. Dark, undisturbed by windows and tons of places to hide. The light was on and the spiders were hidden for the most part, a few remained in corners or half inside cracks with their legs sticking out. He pulled a lighter from his pocket and set flame to the big webs he could see and a couple smaller ones that he happened to come across. After that, he left the room and decided to head to the store for some insecticide. He poked his head into the room Rose was cleaning. She was on her toes and reaching as high as she could on the window. He laughed, making her spin around to glare at him. Her petite hands curled into fists and placed on her hips.
"Did you clean the bathroom already?"
"Yea, if you want to shower with spiders."
"No!" She shrieked.
"I'm heading to the store for something to kill them." He laughed at her again. "Stay out of trouble." His voice took on a more serious note with the second half.
She turned around and continued with what she was doing. Jace left her alone and found Raiden in the room by the front door. The mattresses were all inflated and Axel arguing with him about the sleeping arrangements.
"I'm not sleeping in a room filled with dudes." He scuffed.
"It'll only be Raiden." Jace butted in.
"I'm not sharing a room with him either." Axel turned to glare at Jace.
"Then go clean a room and throw one of the mattresses in there."
"I'm not cleaning anything, have your bitch do it." He crossed his arms and narrowed his eyes further.
Jace snapped, he had apologized for Morgan. It wasn't supposed to happen but she had crossed the line. They were all friends, or as much as they could be, but at the end of the day he was the leader. If you didn't follow the rules, you either leave or were taken out. They had even talked about how she needed to go sometime soon anyway. He was tired of this. His fist flew through the air and hit Axel square in the jaw. Axel took a step back, his hand on the side of his face.
"What the fuck?" He shouted.
"I'm done with the fucking disrespect."
"Disrespect? You shot my fucking girlfriend!"
"She wasn't a girlfriend! She was a whore who didn't wa
nt to be dropped off in the middle of nowhere."
"And you think that Rose is a girlfriend? She's someone you kidnapped and fucked. She doesn't even want to be here. You should have let her run and kept Morgan alive."
"Rose may not want to be here but she's not flirting with either of you. Morgan constantly tried to get me to fuck her. That's the only reason she was with you!"
"Shut your fucking mouth! You have no idea who the real Morgan was!"
"Really? Is that why she asked me for a quickie while you were downstairs and Rose was in my room at the last house?"
"You're a fucking liar! You were upset because she was happier with me than she was with you!"
"What the fuck are you talking about? You two fought all the time!"
"Whatever. You can't stand when someone else has a girl, can you?"
"We already went over this! I didn't care that you had my sloppy seconds, she was fucking annoying!"
The two lunged at each other, Axels fist connecting with Jace's stomach and Jace's hands grabbing Axel's shoulders. They rustled around for a bit until Jace pulled his gun out.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa. Guys, stop!" Raiden finally stepped in.

Rose quietly tip toed down the hall and poked her head around the wall to see Jace and Axel in each other's face. They were yelling and clearly furious. She gasped when she caught Axel's attention and pressed her back against the wall she standing next to. Everything went dead silent. Her heart began to pound and her breathing increased.
"Maybe I should shoot her." Axel finally spoke up.
"Don't you fucking go near her." Jace growled, his voice low and menacing.
"It's only fair."
Rose heard some shuffling and held her breathe until her lungs burned.
"Guys, calm down. No need to fight over some pussy. Axel, why don't you go into town and find a nice local girl."
More silence, then heavy footsteps and a door being whipped open. Rose bravely peeked into the front room again and saw the backs of Jace and Raiden. She could hear the truck start up, then fling gravel at the house as it turned around and sped off. She noticed a gun in Jace's hand, his knuckles white from the tight grip he had on it.
"You really think he's going to find someone in a town like this?"
"I don't know. Maybe he'll get lucky and find a chick whose looking for a change."
"Maybe." Jace turned to Raiden. "You think Rose is just some pussy?"
"Hey!" He held up his hands in defense. "I said what I had to. Didn't want her getting shot."
"I wouldn't let that happen." He mumbled, then place his gun back into the waist band of his pants.
Rose gained control of her breathing, her hand resting on her chest as she did. She snuck back into the room she was cleaning and pretended she didn't hear anything. Things with Axel were escalading way to quickly for her. It made her think for a second that she should take Jace up on his offer to take her away from all of this. He wasn't her idle man, but if he treated her right it would be better than living with chains around her ankles and a crazy man threatening to torture her. She took a deep breath, then bagged up all the dirty paper towels and knotted it close. Her eyes wondered outside to the expanse of long, wild grass. Her hand reached out and smudged the freshly cleaned glass. Her skin grimy and covered in dirt that stuck to her sweat. At 26, she had never expected things to turn out the way they had.

Jace stared out the window where the truck had been parked, he knew the whole Morgan thing wasn't over. He had a feeling, even though he was told it was fine. He reached into his pocket and pulled out his pack of smokes. He really needed on after what had happened. He stepped outside, mindful of Rose, and lit it. His first drag was a hard, long one. He was tired of this shit. Tired of moving every other week, of finding new places to live. He didn't want to run any more. He wanted a house and a family. A normal job in a good neighborhood. And he was going to have it with Rose, one way or another. Speaking of her, he needed to clean the bathroom so she could shower. He wasn't exactly sure how he was going to do that without insecticide or at least something for the spiders. He'd have to clean it as well as he could, then maybe shower with her to protect her. He liked that idea.
It took him about 45minutes to clean the bathroom as well as he could with what he had. He flushed quite a few spiders down the toilet and made sure the tub to the shower and scrubbed well. Out of instinct, he headed toward the truck to get their supply of shampoo and conditioner but remembered Axel had taken it. He groaned, then grabbed a bottle of dish soap. It would have to do. He went to the room Rose was cleaning but only found an air mattress. Through the window, he could see her standing next to Raiden. He wasn't touching her this time, but he was too close for his liking. He turned out of the room and headed to the back of the house.
"We should have a fire tonight." Raiden spoke as Jace came up behind them.
"That might be nice." Rose mumbled.
"We can if you want. There is plenty of wood around here to burn." Jace replied, making both of them look at him.
"Yea, let's do it!" Raiden started to get giddy and pick up sticks to burn.
Jace let his eyes wonder up and down Rose. Her eyes were on the grass, one arm crossed over her chest and holding onto her other arm. His eyes caught the chains on her ankles and he felt his heart sink. He didn't want her chained up anymore, unless it was in bed.
"Let's take a shower."
She turned to him, her eyes noticing the orange bottle of dish soap in his hand.
"No shampoo or conditioner?"
"It's all in the truck."
"Well, okay. I really need a shower."
She reached over for the bottle of soap, but Jace pulled his arm back.
"Shower with me." He meant for it to be a question but it came out as a command.
"Do- Do I have to?"
"Yes." He glared at her.
"And there are no spiders?"
"If there are, I'll take care of it." He mentally patted himself on the back for finally saying something positive.
"Fi-Fine." She lowered her head, her teeth biting into her pump bottom lip.
He sucked in a breath, she had no idea the effect she had on him. He reached out and gently grabbed the croak of her arm. Then silently walked back into the house and toward the bathroom.
"It looks really nice in here."
"Thanks." He chuckled, he'd never been complemented on his cleaning before.
Jace stepped over to the shower and started the water. He waited for it to be warm, then turned to Rose. He was shocked to find her naked already, her dress and bra in a pile at her feet. The sight couldn't have pleased him more, his cock jumping to life. The only thing on her was the clunky chains. Her arm was crossed over her chest to hide her breasts and her legs were pressed together. He could see the blush that spread across her face and she was avoiding eye contact at all cost.
"You look beautiful." He spoke softly.
She didn't respond, but her blush deepened. He moved closer to her, his arm wrapping around her and bringing her closer to him. He held her there for a moment, then took a step back and bent down to unlock the chains on her. He could see dirty lines and red marks from the cuffs and frowned. He straightened out and handed her the soap.
"Sorry I don't have something better. Go on in, I'll be right there.
Jace watched her move over to the shower, his eyes glued to her naked form. She lifted one leg over the edge of the tub, then the other and before he knew it, she disappeared behind the shower curtain. He tried to give her time to wash herself by taking his time removing his clothes. He glanced down and realized he was rock hard and ready to go. There was no way of hiding it, he'd have to deal with it. He took the couple of steps it took toward the shower and pulled back the curtain. Rose's back was facing him, a large amount of suds in her hairs. She took a small step back to douse her hair in water and wash away the bubble
s. His dick twitched and ached for her, but he managed to wait. He stepped inside and watched her rinse her hair. Such a simple act was more erotic than he imagined. When she stepped out of the stream and began to soap up her skin, he moved forward and wrapped his arms around her narrow waist. She froze for a moment, then continued to wash herself. Jace let the water pour over his back, enjoying the feeling of it.
