“I never thought I’d see a day you lose your mind over a woman.” Falcon snorts and I have half a mind to not punch him through the walls.
I counter back with a side glance, “Likewise, smartass.”
He stops for a couple of seconds and wisely seals his lips before he opens that wide ass mouth with another string of stupidity.
“You’re like a dog who just lost his favorite toy, or the moon never seeing the sun.”
I would roll my eyes back to my skull if I could, the idiocy that’s coming out of his mouth is beyond redemption.
I groaned as if I’m in physical agony, this is a form of torture and I don’t have the tolerance to understand what the hell is running through his pea-sized brain.
“What the fuck are you on about?” I exhale loudly.
He nods to himself like some proud achievement has been done, “I took up poetry.”
I can’t.
These are the times I seriously wish I’ve never met this moron. I don’t want these years of friendship because half of it was him getting in trouble and me bailing his ass out. And he says I’m the one who needs a leash. How can a man with years of fighting experience and street smart say things that make people extremely uncomfortable?
“It’s pretty good,” he whistles, folding his hands behind his head and rocks on his heels.
“You get to have a new perspective on things.”
Please shut up.
I close my eyes and inhale deeply.
“Love is like a pussy. It’s warm and beautiful like flower petals; once they spread, you can smell their fragrance.” Falcon chuckles and I do my best to pretend I did not just hear him describe a woman’s cunt like a gardener.
I should be grateful that the FBI fool and his minions stalk up to us like he’s the boss of this place and he probably thinks so, he demands I show him my floor.
The floor where my Chloe is and I am about to decline when Boris reminds me that the warrant covers all grounds. The piece of paper crushes under my hand as I formulate a plan in my mind when I turn to take them to the furthest elevator on the other side of the building.
The more time I waste the higher of a chance Falcon sends a message to my computer and I pray that the girls would be curious enough to go check what that the sound is. I want him to fire a bunch of emails so the girls can’t ignore it, my heart pace erratically against my ribs.
The large hall with the elevator comes to view, the number indicating the elevator is on the top floor and it buys me more time. I steal a glance back and meets Falcon’s eyes, he faintly nods back and I can finally breathe.
At least the girls are hidden now, it’s just the matter of getting this annoying man out of my hair faster.
My office is big and there are hiding spots that would take hours to find, and without special gadgets, it’s next to impossible to find concealed spaces.
The door opens with a ding and everyone steps in, the ride up is too quick, and I worry that Chloe isn’t well hidden yet. I can’t risk her being taken into custody; she might be arrested for underage gambling or some trumped up charge to fuck with me.
Seconds later, the door peels open to an empty office and I don’t let my guard down as other agents filter out to search every room I have.
Boris shoots me a smug expression and turns away before I could do anything. Falcon subtly nudges me to hand me his phone with a recorded video of my office elevator. Two videos playing side by side and I see the girls checking the computer for the noises, running to the elevator and leaving the metal box with Chloe pushing the top floor button to send the elevator back up to my floor without anyone.
I told her to stay put and she didn’t listen.
I intended to be gentle and patient with her, break her into my world and my dark obsession before I make her submit fully to me.
A cruel smile plays on my lips as the reflection of the window becomes a manifestation of the man she will meet once again.
“Falcon.” I get his attention immediately, but I don’t look at him. I opt to stare down into the highlighted city with people smaller than ants and car headlights become fireflies buzzing in lines.
“Do something for me and keep your woman away from us.” I laugh with a wicked and sinister chuckle.
My little Chloe.
My clover.
Her luck just ran out.
I’m coming for her.
Chapter Seven
Chloe
What a day.
I just want to go back to the hotel and sleep off the shock in me. After we left the casino through a series of turns down hallways and hiding in dark rooms to avoid FBI agents, Fawn and I hailed a cab back to our hotel where she decided that the time was right and she needed to tell me something.
The man I met was the casino boss.
I would have fainted if I didn’t already know but hearing it from her mouth doesn’t take the disbelief away.
I thought, from movie references, that the title ‘boss’ comes with the image of a man in a suit and is most likely corrupt. I wasn’t expecting the sexiest man I’ve ever seen, and I should’ve seen this coming. At first, I mistook his status for being a guard because of the red-hot rawness in everything he does. The red flag should’ve risen when we ended up at the top floor where the supposed boss works, I mean a mere guard can’t go up there without permission.
My mind is beginning to shut down from this absurdity, the chances of me actually meeting someone so important is basically nonexistent and yet, here we are, struggling to comprehend that yes, I did meet him.
I met Damon Landon. A man so wealthy that he can buy a trip to Mars and still have money to live comfortably for the rest of his life.
A wave of disappointment hits me when I realize that I would never see him again. This is a chance of a lifetime and fate doesn’t allow me to have good things, this brief meeting is all I get to remember him by when I go back to Fawn and I’s apartment for school.
As if that’s not enough interesting news for me, Fawn skips back to where I’m sitting on the waiting chairs when she gets back from the check-in desk.
“Good news! We’ve been officially upgraded to the penthouse suite!”
“What happened?” I ask, sitting at the edge of the seat as she hums happily.
It’s a tune I know and is accustomed to because she loves that old lullaby from her childhood.
“There are faulty wires in our room and they’re fully booked for the night. They accommodated our lost with this sweet, sweet new setting!” Fawn squeals loudly, gaining attention from people.
Nothing about faulty wires is good news, and a penthouse suite though? Isn’t that too suspicious? We had a normal room for the both of us, and now we’re being upgraded to one of the most expensive choices?
My heart bleeds on how much it costs, I don’t even want to see the price because we’re planned to stay for the entire spring break.
This sounds too good to be true, but I roll with it.
Since our belongings have already been taken care of, courtesy of the hotel employees, we were able to get to the other hotel through a taxi. It takes longer than I expected, it’s three in the morning and there isn’t much traffic on the streets, but it still takes us thirty minutes to get there.
I don’t normally stay up and the only time I do is when I study for exams, that’s when I have a cup of freshly brewed coffee and sugar snacks for that boost of energy.
“Oh, wow!” Fawn stares in approval as we come to the entrance of an extravagant hotel lobby door. A golden halo illuminates the gorgeous interior that I’m awestruck by the beauty of it.
This is the case of money does buy happiness. Fawn is embarrassingly loud with her shrill of excitement when she flies out the cab, she ushers me to hurry while I take my time to soak in the mind-blowing turn of event.
A concierge that goes by the name of Allen welcomes us and asks us if there is anything we would like to eat or drink when we get up to the fancy
suite. The only thing I want to do is sleep and wake up from this dream with me halfway off my bed and blanket kicked somewhere.
This has to be a dream, I chant to myself as the elevator takes us up to the top floor with a sense of déjà vu. Damon’s face keeps appearing in my head and I want to commit him to my memories before the details of his face fade away over time. I doubt I’ll forget him since he made an impact on my life that I can’t do anything other than to think of our time together.
The concierge leaves Fawn and I to ourselves when we first witness the magnificence of the view. It’s everything one would expect from the most expensive room to be, but I think this is more than I could imagine since I’ve never been to anything that’s worth more than my student tuition.
I’m frozen in my spot, debating whether how I can preserve this beauty while Fawn twirls and dances from room to room. She’s loving this and I smile at her excitement, she throws herself over the long sitting cushion with a loud puff of air.
I slowly explore every room and the level of detailedness in this suite could be a home for most people, I surely wouldn’t mind living here.
A yawn surprises me and I cup my mouth, I blink the moisture from my eyes and find the sharp edges of things are blurry. It’s time for a shower and bed, there’s one master room while the others are still spacious, but the master bedroom is the biggest.
“I’m going to shower, Fawn!” I call over my shoulders and drops to my knees for a shirt from the opened suitcase.
I dig around and notice that this is her clothes and I groan in tiredness. I don’t want to go to my suitcase and use what’s left of my energy to sift through clothes.
“Dumpling, I have a couple sets of unused bra and panties. Wear them!” Fawn’s voice is muffled with her face in the cushion, I just know that her makeup is smeared on the furniture but I’m too tired to care.
The first crinkle of plastic protector hits my ear and I don’t think about it as I pull the package out. I make a beeline to the enormous bathroom and shock hits me again with the unbelievable luck we’re having.
I strip down all my clothes and I let it pool on my feet and I kick them to the side, I’ll clean it up tomorrow. I would use the bubble bath, but my feet are sore so I hop into the shower and clean all the stress away.
I leave my hair dry as I just washed it before we boarded the plane. There’s no order as to how I shower, I do whatever I get my hands on. The bodywash is floral, it takes the stress out of my muscles as I rinse off with my hand going to the next product.
Toweling off the moisture droplets, I tear away the black packaging and pause at the set of lingerie.
I should’ve known. This is Fawn I’m talking about, she doesn’t wear anything that isn’t suggestive and alluring.
“Whatever,” I murmur to myself and pull both fabrics on my body.
I sluggishly trudge out the bathroom, screw the sexy walk when I can dive head first into a mass of pillows and silk comforters. That’s exactly what I do when the silkiness caresses my exposed limbs like a lure to dreamland.
I curl to the side and nuzzle into the heavenly soft pillow; the room doesn’t have a single source of light that isn’t from the little glowing dots from the city. It’s the perfect combination to make me sleep faster than I remember.
A stroke on my hip makes my lashes flutter, cloudiness in my brain chalks it up to Fawn sliding in bed with me. We share a bed for warmth because our cheap landlord won’t crank up the heat during winter, I’m used to her presence that I scoot back to her body when she wraps her arm around me.
It feels off and I can’t put my finger on it, I’m too deep into my sleep to hear a man’s deep voice right next to my ear.
I wake up with this weird feeling. It’s one of those nights of sleep that I don’t know if I slept for five minutes or five hours, my eyes are sewn shut and I’m even more tired than before.
My body is overheating from Fawn cuddling behind me as the sun is high in the sky.
I get into the bathroom and shut the door without looking back, I yawn and pick up a toothbrush and squirt a dollop of toothpaste on it. I start brushing my teeth when I see a red mark on my neck, my eyebrows furrow in confusion.
Did I get a bug bite?
I touch the redness and it doesn’t hurt like what I would expect from a swollen bug bite, I shrug it off and rinse my mouth. A set of expensive skincare lines up on the bathroom counter, I grin to myself as I pick up a cleanser.
It’d be a waste to not use them.
The skincare routine is quick and fresh, I like the brand and I mentally take note on the name.
My hair tie from yesterday is gone with my hair messily on my back, I brush out the tangles out and whimpers in pain when I pull too hard. I huff with a pout and shudders as a breezy caress to my belly when my body adjusts to the cool temperature.
I need something to cover up, Fawn would tease me for being so bold because I would never wear something like this at our apartment. When I’m tired and she asks me to eat a lemon, I probably would, and I wouldn’t even notice my behavior.
My hand opens the door and I call out to Fawn. That girl sleeps like a log, she also snores but denial is her middle name.
“Fawn—”
My eyes widen at the same pair of green eyes that ignites a fire in my tummy as my clit throbs painfully.
Damon.
He’s here, on the bed and slept with me for the entire night.
I knew something was off about ‘Fawn’s’ abnormal body heat, and her arm was way too heavy on my waist when I slept.
I blush darkly when he sits on the edge of the bed. He’s naked when he stands, and he has no qualms about me being here and staring at his big cock, very hard and leaking. I jerk my eyes away from a prominent throbbing vein and put my eyes on the vein in his neck.
It’s a safe spot to look, I shake with tiny trembles.
“How dare you, little girl.”
Yeah, this penthouse suite is too good to be true.
I plaster my eyes on the wall behind him as my hand covers my cheek, the same side where he bit, and I can still feel the ghostly aches from it.
Why is he here?
And why is he naked?
I want to scream from embarrassment and humiliation as the black panties are soaking through with my pussy tingling.
He takes three big steps and there isn’t time for me to process his fast movements, he has me thrown on the bed with my back bouncing up. I try to sit up but he’s on me with his lips taking my breath away.
A big hand clenches my throat, holding me in place with a fair warning through his dominance. I hiccup in protest when he clamps his teeth onto my bottom lip, tears spring from my eyes as he pulls away. That wild and animalistic snarl on his lips showcase a man on the edge of madness, my nipples tighten in want.
He drags me up to the pillows and leaves me there when he stretches over to the side and yanks my arms over my head, a smooth fabric brushes my heated skin and my hands are tied to the headboard in hurried and swift loops.
His hands tear away my bra as my breasts fall with a whine from my lips.
He doesn’t say anything as he tugs on my panties, blood rushes to my ears with a squeak from my lips when the thin fabric sticks to my pussy. I shut my legs, but he pries them open with his calloused hands on my thighs.
I turn away as his gaze burn into my cunt.
“I told you to stay, but you didn’t.” he rolls my clit in harsh circles, and stars burst behind my eyes.
“You leave me no choice but to fuck you until you crawl back to me.”
I moan wantonly.
Chapter Eight
Damon
Perfection.
Having my pretty little charm chained and spread before my eyes is such a satisfying scene. My tie looped around her small wrists above her head, she can’t stop me from taking what I want and I want her cunt soaking my cock while I feed her my cum.
Falcon had taken his woman a
way last night when Chloe was in the shower, she’s not that bright when it comes to her surroundings. I have been in her bed for the entire night and she assumed I was her friend. Another man would have taken advantage of a woman in seductive lingerie, another man would have forced himself on my Chloe and I would have to kill him.
I try to give her hints; the unlit room, my arms around her small body, and my voice whispering what I would do to her in the dead of the night.
My thumb pinches her clit, her back arches beautifully and I lean down to close my lips over a perky nipple. She peeps, shuddering from the heat of my tongue as I roll the bud between my teeth.
“W-wait—” Chloe stutters, her hands twisting above her. “Slow, go slow!”
I lock her in place with a good knot that won’t come loose until I untie it, I made sure she can’t run away without me noticing.
“Ah!” her hips buck, dragging her clit on my cock as I push down a growl.
I rock my hips forward, trapping her sodden clit in a limbo of pleasure while I put my face between her neck and bites down on her neck. The mark I put on her when she was sleeping is beginning to fade and that delicate skin is begging to be marred by me.
Chloe chokes a moan, tilting her head away to give me space, and I chuckle deeply. She wants me to mark her, to show everyone that she belongs to me. I give one hard thrust and her eyes fly open in tears, her thighs shake and mouth wide with soundless breaths.
I lick my lips and retreat to hover above her, she’s wracked with shivers while I toy with her tight opening. I spread her slits with my fingers and circle my middle finger on the pulsing hole.
She’s warm and tight when I slide the finger in, knuckle deep and thick enough for her to feel me breaching her most private secret. Pulling back, I thrust back in with a firm push that has her squirming at this new sensation, which I have no doubt that she doesn’t touch herself by the spontaneous reactions.
