“That you can,” he said as Braven Dunn cradled himself in the Mystics arms and fell asleep.
The Mystic rose with the boy in his arms and put him in a small bed with little pillows. He sat there and watched him sleep for a long time as Brea stood next to him.
“He is our son Dayven. Nothing will ever change that.”
The Mystic turned and looked her in the eyes and kissed her. Then she broke their embrace and blew out the candle. The full moon lit up the room as they laid down to rest.
All was right in the Kingdom of Shannon.
