He nodded and smiled. “Where’s Izzy?”
“Playing with her friends.”
My door burst open and Nat and Dani stood in my doorway. Nat wearing her designer jacket and boots with a dark pink shirt and black jeans and a white scarf around her neck. She had a white fuzzy hat on her head and her cheeks were tinted pink from the cold. Dani was wearing an orange tank-top and a pair of orange skinnies. On her feet was a pair of aqua converse that matched the baseball cap on her head.
They looked at me and the position I was in was probably bad. Dai was still holding my face and we weren’t far from each other. It probably looked like we were kissing. I pulled away.
“This isn’t what it looks like!” I stood up causing Dai to fall on the floor.
Dani smirked. “What’s it supposed to look like?”
Dai wrapped his arms around me and placed his chin on my shoulder.
“Hi, I’m Dai.”
“Hey, I’m Dani and this is Nat.” Dani replied smirking wider at our position.
“Dai moved in next door. He’s my neighbor. Nothing more, nothing less.”
“Not yet.” Dani snickered at Nat’s comment.
“Is there a reason you two are here?” I asked feeling slightly frustrated.
“Can we talk? Without your boyfriend present?” Nat asked smirking at the end of her sentence. Dani snickered again.
“I’ll see you later Rai.” Dai kissed my cheek and hopped out of the window.
After he left Dani walked over to me.
“Awww, little Rai is growing up. I’m so proud.”
“We have done well.” Nat replied and they both cracked up.
“Shut up.” I swatted at them feeling my cheeks turn warm. They noticed this and cracked up more.

Dai’s P.O.V
“So everything’s going according to plan?” Jake asked sitting on my beanbag.
“Yup. A lot better than you.” I smirked. Jake growled dangerously.
“So she hasn’t realized?” Max asked trying to keep the peace.
“Nope. And I don’t think she will any time soon.”

Erin’s P.O.V.
“Are you sure that’s what you heard?” I asked.
“Yup. I didn’t think that’s why he would suddenly move in next door.” Isabella replied. For a five year old girl, she knows a lot. She told me where she saw Dai before.
“He wants revenge on our clan because he thinks we’re the ones that killed his brother.”
I inhaled through my nose and stood up.
“We have to tell Nat so she can tell Rai.” Dai is going to kill Rai, Jake is going to break Dani’s wall; get inside of her heart and break up with her, so it would be easier to kill her. She would try to die after another bad break-up. And Nat…. Nat is really vulnerable already so it wouldn’t take a lot to kill her. I have to tell Logan so he would protect her more.
“For two little kids, you guys are pretty smart aren’t you?”
I looked up and gasped seeing Ethan and his sister standing behind me.
Isabella whimpered. She hasn’t found her powers yet so she needs me to protect her. I crouched in front of her making sure that they wouldn’t hurt her.
“We’re not going to hurt her.” Delia smiled.
“We’re going to hurt you.”
Chapter 7
Dani’s P.O.V.
Either it was my lack of good judgment or the sad way my life was turning out because halfway through our German class, I realized Jake was missing. I sighed. Do I always have to keep him in check?
The teacher stopped and looked at me and I nodded. He nodded back and continued with his lesson. I grabbed my stuff and walked out.
“Hey babe. Missed me?” Jake hopped down from wherever he was and landed in front of me. I glared.
“Stop skipping class.” I started to walk away.
“Or what?” He asked amusedly following my footsteps.
“I’ll stop kissing you.” I smirked at the sad look on his face. He then snorted.
“Please. You’d miss me too much.” I rolled my eyes and walked away.

Jake’s P.O.V
I watched in silence as Dani walked away. She didn’t mean that right?
I stuffed my hands in my pockets and followed her. It had been 5 months since I met Dani and 2 months since I asked her out. I stopped mid-step.
They wouldn’t do that. We already begged them to call off the plan. They wouldn’t. Wait... my eyes widened.
Oh god. I ran out through the school’s back doors. They could create back doors but no windows? Wow…

Dai’s P.O.V.
“Do you want that one?” Izzy shook her head and kept walking down the aisle filled with stuffed animals. I sighed and rubbed my temples. At this rate, we’ll never get out of here. I felt a hand on my shoulder followed by an amused chuckle. I looked up into the eyes of Rai.
“You should know what animal she likes by now.” I sighed and looked back at Izzy who was staring at a polar bear.
“You want that one?” Izzy looked at me and shook her head again. Rai snickered and grabbed a black cat with green eyes.
“You want this one?” Izzy nodded and ran up to Rai. She took the bear and said thank you and walked off. Ugh. Taking care of a child is hard work.
“Now you know how we mothers feel in labor.” Rai looked at me and followed Izzy. I walked after her.
“Did you just read my mind?” Rai smiled at me.
“That’s your power. You said it out loud.” I nodded and smirked. She caught on and smirked back and we started racing through the aisles.

Rai’s P.O.V.
I swear. We’re like little kids Izzy’s age. Izzy just sat on the cashier’s counter holding her new cat and licking a lollipop.
‘We shouldn’t do that.’ I stopped halfway through the race and looked around.
‘We can’t kill them.’ The voice continued. I looked at one of the empty shelves and then looked around making sure I was alone and then sat on the shelf. I closed my eyes, and started to whisper my chant.
“Succurro mihi audire, quod succurro mihi video vidi visum. Transfero mihi ut preteritus vel posterus. Qua illa vox vocis es, transporto mihi illic.”
I appeared in a place that looked kind of like a warehouse. I shivered. An extra cold warehouse. I stared walking around and checking out the scenery.
‘You can’t do this to them. We won’t let you.” There’s that voice again and they sound angry. I followed the voice and looked right into the face Dani’s boyfriend. Wait, why is he here? Nat’s boyfriend appeared next to him looking sad and depressed. Wait, this can’t be right. I saw the back of a familiar head looking at a cage holding three girls hostage. I stepped forward past Jake and Max. Good thing they can’t see me. I stood right next to the familiar boy and looked at his face. I gasped in shock and my eyes widened.
“Dai…” I trailed off when I heard my voice sync with another. Dai looked up at the cage and I did too. What I saw made me gasp again. Nat, Dani and I were in the cage. Held by our wrists and feet.
“Dai….” The me in the cage said, “You made me learn how to fight for myself and how to stop worrying about other people… Dai, I just have one wish for you…” The me in the cage eyes turned to slits and Dai winced,
“Rot in the hole you came from.” She then looked away as hundred of volts went through her body.
“No… no, no, no. That can’t be real.” I muttered and felt myself going through the tunnel. Back to the
present I guess.
“Rai!! Rai, wake up!! Rai!!” I opened my eyes to see Dai and Izzy’s concerned faces looking at me.
“Mommy?” Izzy asked and I got up and glared at Dai.
“Stay the hell away from us.” I held Izzy’s hand and started walking away.
“Rai! Rai, wait!!” He shouted and ran after me. “What do you mean?” I stopped walking and glared at him.
“Your plan. You, Max and Jake.” His eyes widened and I nodded.
“Never try to kill a girl when she can see the past… or the future.” I turned and walked away from him. He didn’t call my name or anything. He just stayed silent. A part of me actually wished he said something... or even denied it.
“Mommy.” Izzy started tugging on my hand and I looked down at her. She was taken from my grasp and I was held from behind.
“Be quiet and we won’t hurt you… much.” A voice said in my ear and I nodded at him and at Izzy too. Izzy eyes widened and we screamed at the top of our lungs.
“DAI!! HELP!!” I heard footsteps and the person behind me chuckled,
“Bad move.” He threw me across the store and I hit my head on a shelf. Oww, crap. That hurt. I held my head where I felt blood coming out. Geez, can’t go a day without bleeding can you Rai?
“RAI!!” Dai appeared next to me and started holding my head. I looked at him.
“I still hate you for what you did.” He sighed but nodded and turned his attention to the boy who threw me. My eyes widened. This is the boy who threw me? He’s ten times smaller than I am, probably about the same size as Izzy.
“Wow Dai. They said she was ugly but damn…” He walked over to Izzy and held her face.
“Get away from her.” Dai and I growled and turned to our vampire form. He smirked and turned to his too. He was the same height and weight as Dai then, and had brown hair and gray-silver eyes. He let go of Izzy’s face and looked over at me.
“I prefer you as a vampire… You’re hotter.” He appeared next to me and held one of my wrists with one hand and wrapped his arm around my waist. He smirked at Dai and leaned down to my ear.
“Our children will be best out there.” I froze and he smirked more if that was even possible. He then leaned down more and kissed my neck. I stiffened more and felt his weight removed from my body.
“I’M GONNA KILL YOU!!” I looked at Dai and the boy-whose name I didn’t get- and saw Dai had him pinned and was trying to punch him in his face. The boy who held Izzy came over to me.
“I’m Lance. I’m sorry about this.” He put Izzy to sleep and then walked out the store.
“NO!! COME BACK!!” I started to run after them but stopped when I felt weight on me from behind again. I slowly turned to come face-to-face with the same boy.
“Hi?” I asked uncertainly. He smirked at Dai and then looked back at me.
“Hey.” Dai then threw so much hate his way I felt it. “This won’t hurt a bit.” He then pulled me closer and kissed me. Full on the lips. I started struggling and looked at Dai pleadingly. The last thing I saw before I fell unconscious was Dai running after the boy who picked me up bridal style.

Max’s P.O.V
The look on Nat’s face was too hard to bear. I looked away and she took that the wrong way.
“And now you’re tired of me.” I looked up quickly.
“No, no, no, no Nat.” I grabbed her hands, “I could never get tired of you.” I pulled her into me and she cried on my chest. It was better for her to know the plan.
“Tsk, tsk, tsk. I knew you were soft but this is too much.” I looked up to see the eyes of…
“Mason. Why are you here?” Nat looked at him and held onto me. Mason looked down at Nat and grinned,
“To finish the job.” My eyes widened.

Dani’s P.O.V.
I rubbed my temples and sighed.
“Jake we talked about this.”
“Please?” He looked up at me from my lap. “Please….”
I sighed again and looked up at the sky,
“It just wouldn’t work.”
“Then we could get an apartment in the middle of the Burgandic and Brutanic territory.” I growled at the name of my section. I still hate that bastard so much.
“Or we could ask your mother.” Jake sat up and looked at my mother who was sitting on the other end of the bench.
“I’ll live with my sister in the Brutanic section, however you two love birds can get your own house.” My mother smiled and I threw my empty bag at her. She and Jake laughed.
“A house with Jake? Please, that’s as bad as it sounds.” Jake glared at me and I smiled back innocently.
“And besides we don’t have any money. Edward has all of ours. And Jake’s father has his.” My mother sighed and got up.
“That’s my problem to worry about. I’ll solve it.” She smiled, ruffled Jake’s hair, kissed my forehead and left.
“So you would move in with me?” I looked back at Jake and glared at him.
“That part of the conversation is over.” He nodded and held up his hands in surrender.
“Wow, I see who wears the pants in your relationship...” I looked around and saw a boy about the same height as Jake with golden blonde hair and dark blue eyes that you could just get lost in.
“Nate.” Jake growled, “Why are you here?” The boy- Nate- smirked and disappeared. I stood up and Jake stood in front of me. Nate appeared behind me. I turned and he took my hand and kissed it. I just stared at him blankly.
“My mother taught me to do that when I see an extremely beautiful girl.” I smirked and leaned in,
“Flattery gets you nowhere with this chick.” I stood up properly and Jake pulled me behind him.
“Why. Are. You. Here?” Jake hissed.
“You had a job. You didn’t finish it.” I looked at them curiously.
“What job?” Jake’s face pale and Nate smirked.
“What job Jake?” I hissed at him.
“You don’t know? Jake was sent by his father to get rid of the Burgandic princess by becoming her boyfriend and then killing her. It was his idea.” Nate said and I choked.
“What? No. Jake…” I looked at Jake and he looked away.
“I’m sorry.” He whispered.
“No. No, no, no, no, no, no. NO!! DAMMIT!! NO!! YOU KNEW ABOUT MY LIFE AND YOU DECIDED TO DO THAT TO ME??!!” Jake stepped in my direction and I stepped away from me.
“NO!! DON’T FRICKEN COME NEAR ME!!” I glared at him and then looked at Nate,
“You’re the one who’s supposed to kill me?” Nate looked at me sadly and then nodded. That’s when I realized I was crying.
“Don’t bother. I can kill myself.” I said and ran off.
“DANI!! NO!!” Jake shouted and started chasing me.
“LEAVE ME ALONE JAKE!! JUST LEAVE ME!!” I ran faster trying not to use my speed.
“NO, DANI LISTEN!! I LOVE YOU!! I TRIED TO CALL IT OFF!!” He sped up and I could see him start to blur. He’s using his powers…. I shook my head and sped up.
I saw a goldish blondish blur past me. Weird…
“THOSE ARE JUST WORDS!! THAT’S THE BIGGEST LIE YOU COULD EVER SAY!!” I wiped my eyes and turned and ran through the forest.
“DANI! NO! I MEAN IT!! I LOVE YOU!!” Jake appeared in front of me and grabbed my arms.
“LET GO! LET GO!! Let go of me…” I trailed off and broke down in sobs. He just held me his arms.
“I’m sorry… I called it off when we started dating…” He said and looked at me.
“The thought still hurts and it still makes me want to kill myself.” I swallowed and stepped away from him.
“No Dani.” I faked a smile and looked at him as I backed the edge of the cliff.

ife than someone else taking it.” At that same moment I felt a burning sensation in my stomach. I looked down and saw it covered in blood. My blood.
“Speak of the devil.” I muttered and fell forward right into Jake’s arms.

Jake’s P.O.V
I held Dani bridal style as she kept bleeding. I glared at Nate who held a bazooka in his hands.
“Limited Edition Vampire Slayer.” He smirked. My eye twitched with anger and he smirked wider.
“Aaaaw, is the prince sad that his princess is dead?”
“I’m not dead yet baka.” I looked down at Dani who was looking at me weakly.
“If you don’t kick his butt for me, I’ll haunt yours.” I smirked and glared back at Nate.
“Bring it.”
Chapter 8
Rai’s P.O.V
My visions aren’t always correct. They can change depending on what the people do. Like for instance, if a boy with brown hair and gray-silver eyes decide that instead of killing you, he wants to make you his mate and even take your child as his, that can change all my visions. My visions now show me getting married with Izzy as the flower girl but I can’t see the groom. All I know is he’s either Dai… or Tristian.
“Aaawww come on Rai. Don’t look so sad…” Tristian walked over to me and held my face.
“I still love you.” I looked away.
“You don’t know crap about me.”
“Not true. I know your favorite color is white cause it’s simple, your favorite place is the cemetery where your father’s family is buried, your uncle from your mother’s side is the one who raped you and gave you Isabella and now you think that she’s the best thing that ever happened to you. Your best friend, Daniella is the depressed one. Her mother is the one who has to take care of her now after her father cheated on her with her boyfriend’s mother. Your other best friend Natashia had a werewolf father and a Brutanic vampire mother who abandoned her and now she lives with her adopted human father with her older brother Shawn and older sister Rosalina and twin Logan.” My eyes were wide with shock and Dai growled from in the corner. Then I chuckled and shook my head to clear it.
“Either you’re a stalker or there’s a file on me.” Dai chuckled when Tristian looked defeated. The door opened and a girl with white hair and red eyes walked in behind a boy with white-blond hair and brown eyes.
