  “Your point?”

“And, I’d still have to leave because…”

Her kisses along my jawline coupled with her hands tracing my waist down to my dick pauses all verbal communication.

“Since I have a free and clear weekend, what if we make the run, go to the beach, grab dinner somewhere, then come back here for dessert?”

Her mouth teasingly touches mine, and for a moment, I allow the sensual feelings to take over and return her sweet kisses. The plan sounds amazing, but I need to know how one night turned into a weekend, and is this it, or does she want more?

Halting all affection, I ask the question I need answered. “Tessa, I’m all for hanging out, but I didn’t think you wanted anything past last night. Or does it all end on Monday morning like some weird-ass fairytale?”

She takes a few minutes to think, searching my face for my emotions. “I’ve wanted you since my pre-senior year in high school, maybe longer. Why would I want less than a chance to be yours forever?”

“Why didn’t you say anything before?”

“Uncertainty has kept me from a lot of things. It wasn’t until the other day when you took me home, I felt a connection. I told myself then, if you showed up, I’d make my feelings known.”

“Glad I bought you those gummy worms.” I reply.

“Yeah, those jitters weren’t for the show, they were because of you.”

“Liquid courage goes a long way, huh.”

“I was drinking water. No alcohol for me last night.”

“But you had an orange slice on the cup.”

“It was a ploy. I do it all the time.”

  “So, do you not drink?”

“I do. I didn’t want my attempt to be clouded. If you had rejected me, then alcohol would’ve definitely been in my cup.” She giggles, and her eyes twinkle with her laughter.

“You don’t have to worry about me turning you down,” I say, pulling her on top of me and carefully brushing her hair behind her ears.

“Oh yeah? So, like, are we making a go at a relationship?”

“Is that a problem for you?” I ask.

“No. That just means I have to tell my fantasies they are no longer needed since I have the real deal.”

“Wait, now. What kind of fantasies are we talking about?”

“Maybe we save that conversation for later.”

She presses her mouth to mine, and I engulf her lips, savoring every sweet morsel she returns.

“Damnit, guys. I was in there for like thirty minutes, and you two aren’t dressed yet?” Courtney says when she reenters the room.

“Okay, sis. We’re getting up. What did you want anyway?”

“To bring Tessa her car keys. I thought maybe we could go do something, but it looks like you guys have plans.”

“We’re going to the beach and grabbing dinner later. You’re welcome to join us.”

“Nah, that’s okay. I have some things to do before work on Monday, like laundry, meal prep, write in my diary.”

Her sarcasm isn’t lost on me, but at the same time, she could be telling the truth.

“The invitation is open if you change your mind,” I say.

She waves me off with her hand and an eye roll. “Tessa, are you going home tonight?” Courtney asks.

Tessa looks to me with the unspoken question on her lips, and I give her my smirkiest smile.

“That would be a no, and I probably won’t be home until late Sunday evening.”

“Y’all just nasty. Anyway, Miguel is downstairs waiting on me. I filled your car up. Oh, here is a change of clothes for the weekend. Or maybe your starter pack to moving in with my brother. Who knows? Later, you two.” She puts on her shades and tosses up the peace sign as she exits, not leaving us space for rebuttal.

We look at each other and share a big laugh at the wild and crazy antics of my baby sister. The laughter dies down, and reality sets back in.

“So, bath, store, beach, dinner, then back here, right?” Tessa asks.

“If you want. I feel like we jumped libido-first into this, and I didn’t even ask you if you were seeing anyone. Just went for it all.”

I take her hand into mine, interlocking our fingers before putting them behind my head. “I’m not seeing anyone, and I’m glad you did. Makes it easier being around you.”

“Yeah, I can breathe now. I was always afraid I’d suffer from foot-in-mouth-itis around you. So, I’d purposely not say anything requiring more than one syllable when you were near.”

“No words are required.” I nip at her bottom lip, inviting her into my space.

She accepts, using her tongue to open my mouth, sliding it in and out. The level of heat flowing between us is enough to stir my dick to full staff. She’s enticing me from all angles, and I find it difficult to control my urges. Things intensify between us near the point of no return. She slides her wet pussy lips just over the tip before sliding back off.

“That’s just a taste of what you can have when you’re ready.” She gets up and retreats to the bathroom.

The shower turns on as I lie on my back with a painful erection. Her smooth melodic tones seduce my ears and beckon me to her side. Following her voice, I enter the bathroom, pulling the shower glass door open. Soap slides off her body, and my arousal increases at the sight. She continues to sing like no one is here, her eyes closed, impaired to my presence.

I reach in and touch her slickened skin, my fingertips tingling at the electric pulses as I glide them over her warm skin.

“Austin? What are you doing in here?”

I pick her up, pressing against the cold panel, my body holding her in place. Eagerly taking her mouth into mine, while the water dances down my back, she tightens her grip around my waist.

I don’t waste the open invitation teasing my dick. I slam into her with great force, and she yelps in response. Her mouth finds my shoulder, and she bears down as I pound into her again. All doubt, uncertainty, and inhibitions are stripped away with each movement and response. Tessa pushes off the glass and moves in an up-and-down motion, our gazes locked on each other. I grip her ass tight, giving her the support she needs to bounce her way to a quick orgasm. My release is not far behind, and I pull out, allowing my seed to spill onto the floor of my shower. The shower and our heavy and labored breathing, are the only sounds audible.

“So, is the store trip out?” she asks with a smile on her beautiful plump lips.

I peck her mouth a few times before responding. “Let’s just say, we still need to get snacks for the beach.”

“Okay. I’ll get those things and sunblock, you can pay for dinner.”

  “Deal.”

Her being in my arms feels so right and I have a hard time figuring out why we hadn’t gotten to this point before now. This is weird but natural all at the same time.

“You can put me down now.” She smirks.

I relax my hold on her so she can return to her own free will. I grab my loofah and lather up while she reapplies her soap. After rinsing, we complete getting dressed and leave for our first date.

  “You can’t make that move.”

  “Why not?” She pouts.

“Because you can’t. There is no such thing as sideways swipe in checkers, Tessa.”

We picked up a few board games, kid-sized shovels and pails, beverages, snacks, and a huge blanket to take with us to the beach. So far, I’ve beaten her at each game. It’s been funny, too. She’s a bit of a sore loser.

“How about we call this one a tie and find something else to do?” I question.

“Okay, but I get to choose.”

“Seems fair. What’s it gonna be?” I ask while putting all the pieces back in the box.

She rifles through her duffle bag and pulls out a book. “Let me read to you and we relax a bit.”

I take the book from her hand and read the back cover for the blurb. “Southern Charm? Sounds like it’ll be a good read. But how about I read to
you?”

“Well, it’s kinda racy at parts, a lot of parts, but if you don’t mind reading an erotic novel?”

“Come on. We’ll nibble on our snacks while you lay out and I read you a bedtime story.”

She laughs while setting up our smorgasbord. “Okay. I’ve always wanted to have a male voice to match the character.”

“Do you want me to act it out?”

“Um, no. Don’t ruin the fantasy. Just be natural.”

She lays her head back against my chest, snuggling up under my neck as I begin to read from her bookmarked location. After a few chapters, I close the book, placing it on the towel next to us.

  “Why’d you stop?” she asks.

“I was just thinking about their relationship and how they were complete strangers but didn’t ignore the love that was obvious between them. Made me think of us.”

  “How do we compare?”

“Not compare so much as just ignoring what’s been obvious between us for a while. But neither of us wanted to act on those feelings.”

She turns over onto her front and glance up at me through her shades. “Don’t you think it’s just a bit weird, though? I mean, my best friend is your sister, and you’ve watched us grow up together.”

“Yeah, it did feel weird at first. But I don’t know. Something about the way we looked at each other the other day let me know you weren’t that little girl anymore. Seeing your act solidified it.” I chuckle at my last comment when I think of how hard I got watching her body writhe on stage in the thin material that seemed like a second skin on her. The risqué acts she performed with her male and female counterparts set a sequence of thoughts racing through my mind. I was pleased to feel her act them out hours later back at my place. How she easily transitioned from position to position as we went at it throughout the night. Our bodies intertwined into shapes pretzels would be jealous of.

“Austin? Did you hear me?” she calls, snapping me back to reality.

“Huh? Oh, no. I was deep in thought.”

She slowly raises into a straddle position, and my libido immediately reacts to her sensuality.

“What were you thinking about?” She purrs softly in my ear and trails her tongue down my neck to just under my jaw before racing to my mouth.

Her spontaneity is a delicious trait, and I don’t allow this moment to go to waste.

I’m just about to suggest we pack up and head back when she looks to me with a big smile and an agenda. She stands and takes my hand into hers, urging me to my feet. She starts walking away from the beach toward the area under the pier. Obscure from wandering eyes, but still out in public.

“What are we doing under here, Tessa?” I coyly ask but already know the answer.

  “I’ll give you one guess.”

She backs into the supporting beam and pulls me to her. My hands go to her hips and we embrace in a lover’s lip lock. Going at it hot and heavy, becoming more excited knowing that the public is a mere few feet away.

I slide the seat of her bikini to the side and my fingers play around in her wet spot. She slowly and sexily rides my fingers while untying my shorts and folding the waistband, letting the head of my dick to spring forth. I glance down, and see the excitement seeping out just a bit and making a trail on my head. She notices it, too, and licks her lips like a tiger seeing its prey.

She adjusts her position, allowing her pussy to sheath the tip for a few moments before I slide in, giving her the full shaft. She contracts and relaxes her muscles with each motion, stifling her moans so as to not alert the others on the beach.

I place my hands on the side of her face and kiss her deeply, taking a few quick thrusts, nearly spilling my seed within her sweet walls. I lift her, and my juices waste onto the ground. I insert my fingers back into her pussy, encouraging her to ride out the rhythm of her orgasm. Silent shudders rip through her body, and she closes her eyes in response to their quiet attack. When she opens her eyes, our gazes lock, and unspoken feelings of adoration abound. The once pigtailed, braces-wearing, goofy sidekick of my baby sister is now mine, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

  “Was that the correct guess?”

“No. But it was a good one.” She laughs.

Since the depths of the water are around us, I scoop her up, eliciting yelps of glee from her plump lips and run out into it, cleansing us of our dirty hidden deeds.

She leaps into my arms, my balance becomes unstable, and we both fall into the deep. We spring up from the cool waves and return to the shoreline where we sit and watch the sun take a turn to the west where it will rest for the evening.

“Ready to go grab something to eat?” I ask, looking over at Tessa as she admires the scenery.

“Sure. But how about we take it to-go? Maybe spend the night enjoying each other’s company instead of having boring table talk.”

“That’s good. You go to the shower stall and get changed. I’ll order us something to eat. I can change out at the truck.”

“Okay. Let me grab my bag. Do you know what you’re going to order?”

I think back to when they were in college and home on break. They would order Chinese food and binge-watch TV, crashing where they sat. Come to think of it, Tessa and I had a moment or two even then, but we were always interrupted.

“Hmm, I know you like sweet and sour chicken with fried rice and wonton soup.”

“Oh, he remembers my crash nights with Courtney. Can I ask you something?”

  “Sure.”

“Am I wrong to think we had a few close moments back then?”

“No. Not at all. I was just thinking the same.”

She smiles and kisses me on my cheek before going to change. I pull up the menu and place an online order then change my clothes right there in the car. When she returns, we head back to my place.

The sound of the movie playing on the TV is the only audible noise as we sit and watch with full attention. While we shared dinner, we discussed what we wanted to do, and watching a horror movie was top on the list. Yes, that outranked sex. We recline on the sofa with her finding comfort in resting on my chest.

A scream blasts my surround sound, and Tessa jumps in response. I pull her into my arms for comfort while she squints her lids closed to not see the bloody action on the screen.

“The whole point of watching a horror movie is to watch the killing parts,” I say while trying to move her hands away from her eyes.

“Fuck you. I’m not having nightmares.”

“Then why did you want to watch them?”

“’Cause they make the mood even more romantic. You know, all movie-like and shit.” She turns over, facing me, and our gazes meet.

“The guy always saves the girl in the end. Then they run off to a happy ever after,” I add.

“Unless the killer shows up before, during, or after the credits, hinting at a sequel. Then it becomes a happy for now.”

I can’t argue any point because I’ve never heard about a happy for now. I shrug instead and direct my attention back to the TV. I can feel her gaze still on me, and no matter how hard I try to resist, a smile makes an appearance on my lips.

“Why are you staring at me like that?” I ask.

  “Like what?”

“All creepy as fuck and shit.” I laugh as she takes a swing at me with my throw pillow. “Ouch. Oh, you wanna play?”

Grabbing the other extra cushion, I clobber her. An all-out pillow fight ensues, and we roll off the couch onto the floor where I pin her hands down by her sides.

“Austin, you are not playing fair. You’re stronger than me.”

“All’s fair in love and war, baby,” I retort.

She looks at me, wiggles her brows, and before I know it, wraps her legs, locking me in position, grabs my arm, and rolls me onto my back. I’d be lying my ass off if I didn’t say that was super-hot and I’m turned on as fuck.

“Whoa. Where did you learn to do that?”

“I took a defense class in co
llege after one of my roommates was attacked. We all did it as a show of solidarity. I also know how to do this.”

Placing her hands on either side of me, she lifts into a headstand with her face just inches above mine. I can’t fight the temptation and rise on my elbows to kiss her. Think Spider-Man, but I’m the girl and Tessa needs no mask. One peck has her attention. The second, brings her to her knees…literally. She loses her balance and comes crashing down on top of me.

“Oh my god. That moment was just ruined by my awkward fail.” She chortles, holding her stomach. It only gets worse when a snort comes out.

I lie on my side watching her have a giggle fit over her blunder. She wipes away the tears of laughter coming from her eyes before catching her breath and turning her head in my direction.

“Sorry about that. Did I hurt you?” she asks softly, rubbing the leg she tumbled down on.

“No. Not at all. I’d love to have you crashing into me every day.” I stroke the back of her hand while she continues to caress my thigh.

“How long are you usually off?”

“Um, I got an extra day this week because our schedules changed. Typically, it’s four, ten-hour shifts then home for two days. Why?”

“Um, I was thinking the next time you’re off, maybe come stay at my house? Let me play hostess.”

“Yay, I got an invite to the cool kids’ table. That must mean you like me.”

“I more than like you. I’m deeply in like with you. Maybe crushing real hard.” She uses her nail and traces the back of my hand, moving up my forearm then back down.

“Yeah, ’cause we can’t be in love, right? I mean, we just started this thing with no name.”

“It may have no name, Austin, but we know what this is. Maybe we just don’t want to admit or say it ’cause we think we’re confined to a timetable.”

“Maybe we just take things easy and let what happens happen. Not use labels so we don’t jinx this.”

“Keep our feelings secret? What’s the point in that? Austin, I know what I feel for you. But if you don’t share those feelings, then that’s fine. I just won’t expect anything more from you.” She gets up and stomps into the kitchen, taking the bowl that held our popcorn with her.
