  “Connor, please.”

I reached a hand between her legs and found her sweet spot and as she bounced on me, I rubbed her clit and seconds later, she tensed and then screamed out my name in a way that could only mean one thing.

Seeing her like that, with her head thrown back in wild abandon was more than I could take and I groaned out my release, feeling as if all of me was being emptied out.

I collapsed next to her and held her as our fast breaths filled the room. I’d had sex more times than I could count, but none of those instances had ever come close to what I’d felt with Bianca.

While it was exhilarating, it also left me confused and I couldn’t help but wonder if I had settled for less with Angie. There was a lot that had been wrong with that relationship, but I’d figured no relationship was perfect.

But sex was another beast all together. I loved intimacy with the woman I loved and I thought I had it with Angie. Clearly not.

I woke up the following morning spooning the soft body of a woman. At first, I thought it was Angie and I was preparing to inch back when the events of the previous night came to. I realized with relief that it was Bianca and I stayed put.

Angie hated physical contact the following morning before we had both showered and brushed our teeth. I’d always laughingly dismissed it as an adorable quirk but now, lying next to Bianca’s warm body, it hit me what I’d been missing. The physical affection in a relationship was very important to me but I’d pushed it to the back burner because Angie disliked it.

I reviewed the previous night and smiled. It would definitely go down in history as one of the hottest nights I’d ever experienced.

Bianca stirred and then stretched. She went still and I could easily imagine what was going on in her head. She was frantically searching her memory for who the guy behind her is. Then her muscles relaxed and she turned around.

Her beauty hit me afresh as she tossed her hair away from her face. I leaned forward to kiss her forehead.

  “Good morning,” I told her.

  “Morning,” she murmured.

“Did you know that you snore when you sleep?”

She glared at me which made me laugh. “I do not snore.”

“Just the slightest bit,” I said.

“I don’t believe you Connor Kennedy.”

She sounded so stinking cute when she used my full name like that. I touched her lightly on the chin and grew serious.

“Thank you for last night,” I told her. She had given me a gift and I didn’t want her to think it had been just another night for me.

She smiled almost shyly and unable to resist, I pulled her into my arms and kissed her. I waited for her to complain that we hadn’t showered but instead, she closed the distance between us and kissed me back fervently.

I was getting addicted to her minty scent. It was intoxicating and hot. I moved away from her mouth and trailed kisses down her body wanting to kiss every inch of her skin. She lay back as if offering herself to me like a gift.

I paused over her breasts which were even more beautiful under natural light, and teased her nipples with my tongue and fingers.

“That feels so good. More.” Bianca said, making me smile. There was nothing like a woman who knew what she wanted and was not afraid of voicing it.

I took a nipple between my teeth and grazed it softly. She cried out softly and I did it over and over again. I gave her nipples one more lick and then continued on my path down her body until I found myself between her legs.

I licked her sweetness and then clamped my mouth onto her clit. She let out a cry and exploded into an orgasm that rocked her whole body. I kept licking her until the vibrations ended and then I folded her into my arms.

Minutes later, Bianca’s breathing grew heavy, and I knew that she had fallen asleep. I gave her five minutes and extricated her gently from my arms and padded into the bathroom. I whistled as I went about getting ready for the day. I didn’t have a lot planned but that was the essence of a vacation, right?

The ladies were going dress shopping though. Bianca had made plans with my sister, mom and Aunt Catherine to go shopping. She needed a dress for the wedding rehearsal dinner.

I finished showering and dressing and stood over Bianca contemplating whether to wake her up or not. I glanced at the time. Half past eight. I made a snap decision to go to the kitchen and prepare a breakfast tray for her.

“Hey,” James said when I entered the kitchen. “Shouldn’t you still be in bed with your fiancé? You’re on vacation.”

I switched the topic. “Any coffee lying around that a thirsty man can drink?”

James laughed knowing that I’d changed the topic. He poured me some coffee and invited me to serve myself some breakfast. I heaped bacon and toast onto a plate and sat on one of the kitchen stools. James poured himself some coffee and joined me.

Ethan, one of the cooks passed by and clapped me on the back. In the far corner of the kitchen, Margaret Hayes was piling dirty dishes into the industrial sized dishwasher. She worked in the kitchen and was the gatekeeper’s wife.

It was funny but the kitchen had always been my favorite place to hang out. Unlike the other parts of the lodge, there were people always available to talk.

“Who is baking the wedding cake?” I asked James.

“That would be Macy,” he said.

“Keeping it in the family, eh?” I teased him.

His wife owned a bakery in town and she made most of the desserts and cakes that were eaten at the lodge.

“Of course,” James said grinning. “So tell me about the mysterious fiancée. Why are we only meeting her now? Not that we’re complaining especially because she’s super friendly. I’m impressed by your choice actually.”

I wasn’t sure whether to be pleased or uncomfortable. I felt both. I was glad that Bianca had received a lot of my friends and family’s stamp of approval but I had to wonder if they would have felt the same way about Angie who had been my real fiancée.

Something told me no. Angie was fun and good company once you got to know her. But she wasn’t very good with strangers and she liked to make fun of herself that way.

We chatted easily as we ate breakfast and when I was done, James prepared a tray for Bianca.

“How does she like her eggs,” James said.

I had no idea. “Scrambled.” My tone was as unsure as I felt and James gave me a funny look.

I knew so little about Bianca. She was a complete stranger. That fact hit me like a ton of bricks. There was nothing I could do to change that either. It didn’t matter how much preparation we did, we were still strangers.

“Thanks,” I said to James, taking the tray from him.

I carried it to our room and found Bianca awake and sitting up in bed. “Good morning beautiful.”

“Are you always this cheerful in the mornings?” she said, peering up at me.

The odd feelings I’d had earlier of Bianca and me being strangers evaporated as I looked at her. She was a lovely person and so fucking gorgeous. That’s all I needed to know. It didn’t matter whether she took her coffee black or with cream, neither did it matter if her eggs were scrambled or poached.

She had made what would have been a difficult time fun and sexy. I was going to focus on having a sizzling affair with a sexy, beautiful woman.

  Bianca

We piled into a van driven and headed to the nearest town. Sarah and I sat at the very back and the rest of the ladies including Connor’s aunt and some friends occupied the rest of the seats.

“I love your matching necklace and earrings,” Sarah commented as the van started moving.

  “Thank you.”

Our conversation caught Connor’s Aunt Catherine’s attention and she swirled around in her chair to look at my jewelry.

“I agree, it’s very pretty. Where did you buy it?” she asked bluntly.

“Aunt Catherine!” Sarah admonished, and sounded very much like her mom. “It’s rude to ask
that.”

  “Why?” her aunt countered.

I giggled. “It’s fine really and I don’t mind telling you. My sister and I run a jewelry company known as Biva. What I’m wearing are two of our pieces.”

After that, the questions came hard and fast, and I even got a few firm orders from a few of the women, including Sarah and her mom. That would please Eva. Before I knew it, we were in town and Sarah and I led the group to the main street.

“I’m so nervous about Saturday,” Sarah said. “Stupid, I know, considering I’ve known Brian forever and I definitely want to get married to him.”

“I guess it’s understandable. It’s a lifetime commitment you’re making, or at least it should be,” I said. “I think you’re doing great.” I meant it too. I was sure if it were me, I’d have been a bag of nerves.

“Thanks,” she said. “Have you guys talked wedding dates yet? It’s so less stressful to be a guest rather than the bride.”

  * * *

I laughed as we entered a dress store. “I’ll bet it is. To answer your question, we haven’t talked wedding dates.”

She linked her hand with mine and guilt ate me up.

“Hurry up and do it guys. I need a sister like yesterday.”

Dress shopping with a group of women turned out to be loads of fun. It was like a party in a store. There were six of us and we all tried on clothes and gave opinions on each other’s dresses.

“That one looks very hot on you,” Sarah commented as I twirled in front of the mirror and stared at my reflection.

The dress was red and a little risqué. I didn’t normally show so much cleavage.

“I think it’s gorgeous too,” Judy, Connor’s mom said, sidling up to me. “If you like it, I’d like to buy it for you.”

“Oh no I can’t accept that,” I said, startled by the generous offer.

She touched my arm and smiled. “I’d be honored if you did. It’s not fair for you to incur extra expenses that you had not budgeted on. Please.”

“Take the offer Bianca. Mom’s right. Connor didn’t tell you about the rehearsal dinner and it will be an added expense.”

“Okay,” I said and turned to Judy. “Thank you very much.”

She smiled warmly. “The pleasure is all mine”

We didn’t go straight back to the lodge after shopping. We decided to have lunch in one of the cozy cafes in town.

“This will be one of the most enjoyable weeks for me,” Judy said in between mouthfuls of salad. “I’m surrounded by my loved ones and friends and Connor brought Bianca to meet us. I’m glad he picked you. We think you’re wonderful.”

I blushed. “Thank you.” I wished it was real and that Judy, Sarah and their family were going to be my family.

That thought formed before I could arrest it. Usually I managed to control the child in me. The one who longed for a loving family. Like I always did, I reminded myself that I was an adult now and I didn’t need the happy family fairy- tale.

“If you and Connor wish, you can also have the wedding at the lodge,” Judy said and tears unexpectedly filled my eyes.

“That’s really kind of you,” I said, feeling like a complete fraud. They really were decent, kind people and Connor was lucky to have them as his family.

I couldn’t believe that Judy was the kind of parent to pester Connor regarding his single status. But then again, they were his family and he knew them better.

We returned to the lodge after a nice leisurely lunch and two glasses of wine which left most of us overly cheerful for a cold, snowy afternoon. Thick snowflakes fell from the sky as we drove back home. It was the perfect weather to ski but with the buzz in me created by the wine, the last thing I was thinking about was being outdoors.

I couldn’t wait to get back to the lodge and see Connor. The outing had been fun but I’d also missed him. It was stupid to miss him. Not to mention dangerous. Missing him implied that I was developing feelings for him.

Even if he never talked about it, I knew that he was hurting over Angie. She was the woman he planned on spending the rest of his life with. A woman he loved. He might have been attracted to me but I knew that his heart belonged to someone else.

At the lodge, I said thank you again to Judy for the dress and then to the other ladies for the company. I was itching to go to our room. I couldn’t believe how disloyal my body was being. My heart was pounding with excitement, as if I hadn’t seen Connor in weeks.

I pushed the door and entered. My breath hitched when I saw him lying on the bed reading the magazine I had brought with me. He lowered it and looked at me with those mesmerizing green eyes and my legs felt as if they were melting.

  “Hey there,” he said lazily.

“Hi,” I said, depositing the package on the floor and plopping down on the bed.

I was a pretty good actress and anyone looking at me would not have seen any signs of the turmoil going on inside me. It was too late to control my feelings for Connor. I was crazy, insanely attracted to him.

“How did the shopping go?” he said.

“It was great. It was fun bonding with Sarah and your mother insisted on buying me a dress.”

“I’m glad she did,” Connor said. “You’re a really good actress, getting along with everyone the way you are. Even James, the chef commented saying I proposed to the right person.”

I frowned. “I’m actually not acting. I’m a naturally friendly person and I love people. Your family is awesome and to be perfectly honest, if my own were like them, I would go home a lot more often.”

He cocked his head to one side. “You haven’t told me about your family.”

  I made a face. “That’s because I don’t have a lot to say.”

“You said that your parents used to take you girls skiing.”

He wasn’t giving up. How had we changed topics from my shopping trip to my family?

“That was before they separated and then divorced. Each went on to have a second, third and even fourth marriage for my dad.”

Connor was visibly shocked. I usually forgot that having more than two marriages was a shock to most normal people. When my parents had problems, instead of working through their problems, they bolted and found new partners.

“The family must be huge,” Connor commented.

“Yep.” I’d had enough of talking about my family. It was a conversation that usually left me feeling empty inside and sad and I didn’t want to feel that after such a wonderful day.

“Do you want to see the dress I got?” I asked Connor.

“Sure. I want to see you wearing it,” he said, his eyes gleaming with an emotion I couldn’t identify.

“Okay.” I grabbed the bag I’d dropped on the floor and headed to the bathroom.

I stripped off and then wore the dress. It was even sexier than I remembered from the afternoon. It hugged me like a second skin, exposing all my curves. I adjusted it and when I was ready, I left the bathroom and sashayed across the room.

  “You look beautiful,” he said.

I turned and struck a model pose with my hand on my hip. Connor’s gaze hungrily roved over my body. In the next second, he’d gotten up and strolling towards me.

My heart pounded hard as he came to a halt before me, inches from my face. “What do you think of the dress? Is it showing too much?”

“Let’s just say that if you were mine, I’d not let you go out in a dress like that,” he said, his voice low and strained with desire.

All air left my lungs at his words. I swallowed hard, my eyes glued to his. My chest rose up and down as if I’d been running. Wetness dampened my panties as Connor moved even closer.

His hands moved to my dress and without breaking his stare, he lifted it and caressed my thighs. A soft moan left my lips. Then he slipped a hand between my legs and hissed when he felt how wet I was for him.

He inserted a finger into my panties and gently caressed my achy clit. My legs almost buckled underneath me at the contact. I
looped my hands around his neck for support as he pushed two fingers inside me.

Agonizingly slowly, he pumped them in and out.

  “Faster,” I said. “Please.”

It was so hot to hold his gaze knowing that two of his fingers were in the most private part of me.

“Connor.” I moaned his name as sensations overwhelmed me.

His face was so close to mine that all I needed to do to kiss him was to open my mouth. But I couldn’t. His eyes held me captive and his fingers took me closer and closer to the edge. His thumb circled my clit in the most delicious way, applying pressure and then backing off with feather light strokes.

My nipples ached to be touched. I brought my hands from his neck and palmed my taut nipples through the material of my dress.

“Fucking hell, that’s so hot,” Connor said, his gaze dropping to my hands on my breasts.

I rocked myself on his fingers, completely unaware of anything else except the pleasure that Connor was giving me.

I clenched against his fingers and shuddered as a powerful orgasm rocked me. I cried out long and hard as my body trembled. Connor withdrew his hand and gently turned me around but not before I caught sight of the tent in front of his pants.

I palmed my hands against the wall as he pulled down my panties. I imagined him unzipping his pants and taking his steel hard cock out.

The next thing I felt was my dress being lifted and bunched up at the waist.

“Spread your legs,” Connor said gruffly.

I did as he asked and waited with abated breath for the feel of his cock in my entrance. Connor’s heavy breathing filled the room. I let out a groan when I felt it prodding my folds and then suddenly, Connor slammed it in me. I let out a mixture of a cry and a moan.

“Oh yes Connor.” I lost count of the number of times I screamed his name.

He gripped my hips and thrust into me, hard and deep. The second orgasm started in my core and pulsated through my core before spreading to the rest of my body.
