“You’ll be the only student in the history of Z University to be expelled after one day! Without a degree, your life is over.”

“Is that so?” Tang Hao chuckled nonchalantly.

He did not care for getting a degree. To him, going to college was just a dream, and the degree was not as important.

He was not going to bow to that spiteful pervert just to get a degree!

“Why are you all still standing there like idiots? Quickly go get the dean and the other higher-ups here!” Geo Wenqiang turned around and roared at the students.

A few people turned around and rushed out of the door.

The class instantly descended into chaos.

Some of the girls were angry. Tang Hao might have been impulsive and had gotten physical, but it was nevertheless Teacher Gao who instigated the incident.

The incident would not have devolved thus if not that Teacher Gao stepped out of line first.

It was wrong for a teacher to beat their students!

The faculty’s administrative office was in the same building. Very soon, hasty footsteps were heard on the corridor.

Then, a group of people rushed into the classroom.

The person in the lead was Dean Wu. He was a tall and big man of over fifty years of age. Behind him were a group of administrators and teachers.

“What’s going on?” Dean Wu asked sternly as he stepped into the classroom.

His eyes scanned around the classroom. His face darkened when he saw Gao Wenqiang with a swollen face.

Fights very rarely broke out in Z University because the punishment for fighting was very harsh. Furthermore, in the history of Z University, there had never been a case of a student beating up a teacher.

  Chapter 219 - Ruined Reputation

“You’re here, Dean Wu!” Gao Wenqiang shouted. Then, he pointed at Tang Hao and said viciously, “That’s him! He’s the student who beat me! This student is cruel and vicious. He doesn’t deserve to be in Z University.”

Dean Wu looked at Tang Hao and his face darkened.

He knew who Tang Hao was. Tang Hao got himself a spot in Z University because of his connection, which was apparently quite powerful. Otherwise, there was no way for him to get into Z University.

He had no opinion of the student. If upper management had allowed him entry to the university, then he had no say in it.

However, that kid had caused so much trouble on his second day in college!

  It was utterly ridiculous!

How could Z University harbor a student who beat up his teacher?

If news got out, that would utterly ruin the reputation of Z University.

“Are you the one who beat him up, Tang Hao?” Dean Wu asked sternly, suppressing his anger.

Tang Hao did not deny it. He nodded and said, “I’m the one who beat him up!”

Gao Wenqiang jumped. “Look at him! He isn’t remorseful at all! It’s probably not the first time that he did it. He must be a hooligan,” he yelled.

Dean Wu and the other administrators looked unpleasant.

  ‘This student’s behavior is unacceptable!’

A student beating up a teacher is an immoral act. Some might even say that it was heretical.

“We can’t let this slide, Dean! We’ll need to treat this matter strictly!”

“Right! It ought to be handled with the utmost strictness!”

The administrators and teachers weighed in with their opinions.

Gao Wenqiang was laughing up his sleeve. He tried not to display his glee as he looked at Tang Hao.

As long as he could get that student expelled from Z University, being beaten up was nothing at all!

He grinned wickedly at Tang Hao, then looked at Dean Wu. “Dean Wu, our Z University is a prestigious learning institution. He doesn’t belong here! We ought to expel him.

“Who knows what worse things he would do in the future? That’ll be a blemish on Z University’s reputation. It would be a disservice to our hallowed institution if he were allowed to stay.”

Dean Wu seemed convinced. He was not very fond of that student anyway.

However, he knew that the student had someone powerful backing him. He would probably need to fight for his expulsion.

He thought for a while, then displayed an expression of determination.

“Don’t worry, Wenqiang. I’ll make sure that justice will be restored. This student was enrolled under rather peculiar circumstances, but I will do my best to ensure that he is expelled.”

“Thank you, Dean Wu!” Gao Wenqiang became happier than ever.

“Don’t mention it,” Dean Wu said while waving his hand. “You’re a teacher of my faculty. I, as the leader, will back you up. We can’t accept a student who doesn’t show any respect to his teachers.”

Then, he looked at Tang Hao and said, “Tang Hao, you are suspended with immediate effect. You will receive the official notice soon.”

Tang Hao remained calm and nonchalant.

He was not perturbed by being expelled, though he felt a little sorry for Vice Governor He.

However, he would not forget that spiteful person named Gao Wenqiang. He would not let the matter slide!

As disinterested as he may be, some of the students, especially the girls, were worried about Tang Hao.

Liu Feifei stood up and said, “Dean Wu. It’s not Tang Hao’s fault! Teacher Gao was finding fault with him, and it was also Teacher Gao who struck first.”

Gao Wenqiang’s expression became unpleasant. “What are you saying, Liu Feifei? I wasn’t finding fault with him!” He said sternly.

“What’s going on?” Dean Wu furrowed his brows.

“Teacher Gao struck first!” Many girls shouted.

Teacher Gao was not popular among the students because of his unnerving disposition. Furthermore, the girls had witnessed the entire event and had no reason to speak up for their teacher.

“That is total nonsense!” Gao Wenqiang became angry and his face turned vicious.

The administrators and teachers had doubtful expressions on their faces.

They had assumed that the student named Tang Hao had beaten up the teacher perhaps because of an argument. It seemed that there was more to the situation.

Things would have been very different if Teacher Gao was the one who struck first.

“What actually happened, Wenqiang?” Dean Wu asked sternly.

“I didn’t lay a finger on him!” Gao Wenqiang argued, “I wasn’t happy that a transfer student is sitting in my class because of his connections, and I disciplined him with some harsh words. Who knew that the student was belligerent and talked back. I asked him to leave the classroom, but he became physical after that.

“Of course, I tried to pull him out of his seat, but he slapped me in return. Then, he continued to punch and kick me. Look at these injuries,” Gao Wenqiang said agitatedly while pointing at various parts on his body.

“Well, I can’t blame you for that!” Dean Wu said.

He was not too fond of the student who had exploited his connections. Gao Wenqiang was still young, and he might just be impulsive.

Gao Wenqiang was laughing up his sleeve. “The students have all misunderstood me, Dean.”

Dean Wu nodded. “That settles it!”

He then turned to Tang Hao and said, “You should leave immediately. You don’t have to come to any more classes.”

Tang Hao did not mind that. He picked up his backpack and prepared to leave.

Gao Wenqiang was even more gleeful.

Suddenly, everyone heard a feminine voice outside the classroom. “Wait!”

Then, Jiang Wanying appeared at the door and came in.

  Gao Wenqiang’s expression changed drastically.

“Why are you here, Teacher Jiang?” Dean Wu was surprised.

Jiang Wanying’s expression was icy. She glared at Gao Wenqiang, then said, “If I hadn’t made it in time, someone might have succeeded in his schemes.”

“What do you mean?” Dean Wu became more confused than ever.

“I want to file a complaint today, Dean,” Jiang Wanying said coldly.

“Who are you complaining about, Teacher Jiang? What’s going on?” Dean Wu said.

“I want to file a complaint against him, Gao Wenqiang!” Jiang Wanying said, spitting out each syllable, as she glared at Gao Wenqiang.

“What?” Everyone exclaimed in surprise. The students all displayed expressions of utter shock.

“What are you saying, Teacher Jiang?” Gao Wenqiang was beginning to panic.

“Why, are you feeling afraid now? Why aren’t you afraid when you harass me daily? If not that Tang Hao intervened last night, I don’t know if I’ll be standing here.

“Gao Wenqiang, you might look like a gentleman, but you’re actually a spiteful person, and even a pervert!” Jiang Wanying roared angrily.

“You were angry that Tang Hao stopped you in your evil deeds last now, and that’s why you’re finding fault with him today. Don’t tell me that it’s a coincidence!”

The classroom erupted noisily just as she finished speaking.

Not only the girls were shocked, even the boys displayed indignant expressions.

Dean Wu and the other administrators looked at each other awkwardly. His gaze toward Gao Wenqiang became sterner.

“That’s nonsense! I’ve never harassed you!” Gao Wenqiang was livid. “Do you have proof?”

“Proof? I have plenty!” Jiang Wanying laughed coldly. She took out her phone and gave it to Dean Wu. “You can look at the text messages he sent me.”

Dean Wu took the phone and checked the messages. His face instantly turned ashen from anger.

“This is outrageous!” Dean Wu chided.

The administrators crowded around behind him and looked at the phone, and soon they displayed expressions of incredulity. Their gaze toward Gao Wenqiang carried hints of disgust.

“The message at the top was what he sent me last night. That is proof enough that he intends to cause me harm. I think I should be able to go to the police with those messages alone!” Jiang Wanying said.

Gao Wenqiang trembled and his face turned pale.

“This is all false! This filthy whore is trying to frame me! Don’t believe her!” Gao Wenqiang’s expression was vicious.

“She is a salacious woman. Last night, she tried to flirt with me. Don’t believe what she says.”

Tang Hao rolled his eyes and said mockingly, “Please! How about you look at yourself in the mirror? Who would want to flirt with you?”

The people did not believe Gao Wenqiang’s claim either.

Teacher Jiang was Z University’s most beautiful female teacher. It was a big joke if she had flirted with Gao Wenqiang.

  Chapter 220 - Another Shocker

“This is outrageous!” Dean Wu was livid.

He regretted that he had supported Gao Wenqiang earlier. Who knew that Gao Wenqiang was a despicable, perverted, and spiteful person?

The messages on the phone were absolutely wretched!

“You disappoint me, Gao Wenqiang. What would your father think about you?” Dean Wu chided at him sternly.

“Don’t believe her, Dean!” Gao Wenqiang grasped at straws. “She’s trying to frame me.”

“That’s enough!” Dean Wu roared. “Aren’t these messages proof enough that you’re harassing her? The first few messages alone are enough to bring this case to the police. Do you want to get the police involved?

“You are suspended with immediate effect, Gao Wenqiang. We will give you an official notice about any further disciplinary actions.”

Gao Wenqiang trembled and his face turned pale as a sheet.

He knew that he was utterly ruined.

He was called out publicly, and he knew that he would lose his job.

He stumbled a few steps backward and nearly fell sitting. It was as though his soul had left his body.

Then, a seed of hatred sprouted in his heart and grew wildly.

‘It’s that whore and the filthy kid! If not for them, this wouldn’t have happened to me!’

He had blamed everything that happened to him on the two people.

“Class is dismissed! I will find a suitable replacement teacher soon!” Dean Wu told the students.

Then, he left the classroom with the other administrators and teachers. The classroom soon erupted noisily again.

  “I didn’t think he was a pervert!”

“Harassing Teacher Jiang? Teacher Gao is pure human scum!”

Everyone’s gaze toward Gao Wenqiang was full of disgust and disrespect.

Then, they stood one by one and went to the classroom door, where Teacher Jiang was standing.

“Are you OK, Teacher Jiang? Did he do anything to you?” The students asked Jiang Wanying as they crowded around her.

“I’m fine! It’s all thanks to Tang Hao!” Jiang Wanying said as she looked at Tang Hao gratefully.

Tang Hao picked up his backpack. Ignoring Gao Wenqiang, he left the classroom.

He had another class later in the morning. After class, Tang Hao went to the cafeteria with his classmates.

Z University’s cafeteria was huge. It could fit more than a thousand students at the same time.

The cafeteria was incredibly crowded at lunchtime. The students entered the cafeteria like the incoming tide and formed long queues. Tang Hao felt like he was back in high school.

Tang Hao finally bought his food after queueing for a while.

The taste of the food was average, though Tang Hao did not mind it too much.

Tang Hao eventually found an empty spot.

While he was eating, he heard a commotion at the entrance to the cafeteria.

“The beauty queen is here!” Someone shouted.

The commotion spread across the entire cafeteria like a wave.

The boys had excited and eager expressions on their faces. They either lifted their heads or stretched their necks toward the entrance. Some even stood on their seats.

Only one girl could have caused such a huge commotion in Z University. That person was none other than Liu Bingyao, the freshman beauty queen!

She had caused a huge uproar and even a massive traffic jam on enrollment day. Her beauty had surpassed all the beauty queens before her and had become the girl of dreams for many boys.

A wave of excitement swept past the entire cafeteria.

The boys sitting next to Tang Hao looked toward the entrance with eager faces.

“Liu the Beauty Queen is here!” They shouted excitedly.

Tang Hao was shocked. “Is it… her?” He lifted his head and looked toward the entrance.

He could see through the gaps in the mass of bodies that a beautiful figure had appeared at the cafeteria entrance.

That tall and slender body had all the appropriate curves. Her legs which were straight and long had caught the attention of many people.

Her face could launch a thousand ships.

As she walked, her jet-black hair bobbed like flowing water, and they reflected sunlight as though she was a fairy descended from the heavens, or a girl who had walked out of a dream.

The commotion ceased once she entered the cafeteria. All eyes were focused on her.

There were hints of passion and excitement in those gazes.

She paused at the entrance and scanned the entire cafeteria. She looked neutral as though she was used to such occurrences. Then, she walked toward the food line.

She received her food soon, then she turned around and surveyed the area.

It was the peak of the lunch hour, and there were no empty tables. She had to share a table with someone else.

Many boys displayed faces of eager hospitality. They hoped that they would be the lucky one that afternoon.

  “She’s looking at me!”

“Oh my god, she’s walking in this direction!”

Liu Bingyao walked over carrying her plate. She looked left and right to find an appro
priate seat.

However, she could not find one without a boy drooling next to her.

  “Over here, Bingyao!” Someone shouted.

Everyone turned to look at who he was. Then, they exclaimed in surprise.

“It’s the Adonis of the Art Faculty!”

The Adonis of the Art Faculty stood up from his seat and waved at Liu Bingyao. On his sculpted face was a charming, confident smile.

Liu Bingyao glanced at him, then looked elsewhere.

The Adonis of the Art Faculty was stunned.

Then, mocking laughter broke out all around him.

“Sit over here, Bingyao!” A few more boys found the courage to speak up, though none caught the beauty queen’s attention.

Soon, no one dared to make a sound at her.

Just when everyone had given up, a voice was heard from one corner of the cafeteria. “Bingyao!”

Everyone was stunned. Then, their faces displayed expressions of mockery as usual.

‘Wouldn’t that guy be humiliating himself?’

Then, they turned to look at who it was.

He was a somewhat good-looking boy in a white button-down shirt.

They looked even more mocking than ever.

They had not seen that guy before, which meant that he was a nobody. He must be dreaming to think that he could attract the beauty queen’s attention!

That boy was none other than Tang Hao.

He lifted his arm and waved it at Liu Bingyao.

Several of his classmates sat near him. They looked at him incredulously.

‘Didn’t he just join the university yesterday? He shouldn’t know who the beauty queen is, but he’s giving it a shot! He must be crazy! Doesn’t he know what he’s worth?’

The boys all displayed expressions of mockery.

“He’s mad! I can’t wait to see him embarrass himself!” Zhuo Hang’s face was full of mockery.

However, Cao Fei seemed awkward. He knew that Liu Bingyao, like Tang Hao, was from First High.

Then, he chuckled and displayed a look of disdain.

Even if Tang Hao was from First High, he was an expelled student, while the other was the school beauty queen. It was impossible that they knew each other.
