Their eyes lit up. They picked up their fishing rods in a hurry, walked to the edge of the pond, and sat down at their respective spots.

“Haha! You guys don’t know that I’m an expert in fishing, right? I’ll show you my skills today!”

Taoist Master Zhen Yang laughed out loud, feeling very pleased with himself.

“Hah! No one here is a better fisher than me. Whenever we go fishing, I’m always the one who catches the most fish. I even made it into the top three in the Huaxia Fishing Competition!”Taoist Master Qing Yun shouted.

“Heheh!” Taoist Master Qian Ji sneered with a disdainful expression.

That expression seemed to say, “All of you are trash compared to me.”

“F*ck! What kind of expression is that? You wanna fight?” Taoist Master Qing Yun said angrily.

“Alright, stop arguing. What’s there to argue about?” Taoist Master Qing Xu shouted loudly with a stern expression.

The group of Taoist masters immediately fell silent.

“I’m the real fishing champion here! Other people call me the Fishing God!”

Following that, Taoist Master Qing Xu grinned and stroked his long beard. He had the demeanor of an expert.

‘F*ck! How shameless!’ The Taoist masters cursed under their breaths.

However, no one dared to say these words. After all, he was their elder!

  “Way to go, Elder!”

  “You’re the best, Elder!”

  They began to flatter him.

Taoist Master Qing Xu was very pleased. He was about to burst into laughter.

“Here! I’ve prepared all kinds of bait. Take whichever you want. There’s fish, mutton, beef, and other types of meat and worms.”

He took out several plastic bags and put them on the ground.

The other Taoist masters came up, and each of them picked a bit. Then, they returned to their spots and cast their lines.

Tang Hao was the last to pick the bait. After pondering for a while, he picked some fish meat and put it on the hook. Then, he walked to the pondside, found a spot, and sat down.

  Then, he cast the line.

“Do you know how to fish, Brother Tang?”

Taoist Master Qian Ji, who was sitting not far from him, looked over and asked in a low voice.

Tang Hao shook his head. “This is my first time fishing!”

“Is that so? Don’t worry. Just enjoy and leave the work to us! You’ll get a share if we catch any!” Taoist Master Qian Ji thumped his chest and said enthusiastically.

  “Oh! Thanks!” Tang Hao said.

The other Taoist masters heaved a sigh of relief when they heard that.

Fellow Cultivator Tang was a freak to them. He was much younger, but his cultivation base was already so high. He even knew how to make pills and craft Artifacts, as if he knew everything. Now, there was finally something he did not know.

“Leave it to us, Fellow Cultivator Tang!”

They spoke enthusiastically but secretly rejoiced in their hearts.

Following that, the cavern quieted down.

The twelve people held their fishing rods and focused on fishing.

They were confident that they would be the first one to catch a spirit skate.

Five minutes passed, but there was no movement at all.

The people scratched their ears and cheeks in puzzlement.

“The bait must be wrong. Change the bait!”

They changed the bait and cast their lines once more.

However, there was still no movement.

Tang Hao also swapped several types of bait, but it was useless.

‘Maybe the bait isn’t high-grade enough!’ Tang Hao thought.

‘The spirit skate is an ancient species, and it should be considered an exotic beast like the sea dragon or the griffin. They might not be attracted by mundane bait.

  ‘Let’s use spiritual items then!’

He had a lot of spiritual items on him, such as the flesh, blood, and organs from the flying snakes and griffins.

He also had plenty of lingzhi and ginseng, which were also considered spiritual items.

He thought for a moment, then took out a lump of griffin meat, dipped it in some blood, put it on the hook, and cast the line.

After a while, the fishing line trembled.

Tang Hao’s eyes lit up. ‘I’ve got one!’ He thought.

He jerked the fishing rod. Splash! A colorful fish broke through the water surface and leaped into the air.

  Chapter 661 - What A Big Fish

The fish was the size of his forearm. Its scales were very shiny and reflected all colors of the rainbow.

As the fish leaped into the air, it sprayed water everywhere.

Tang Hao stretched out and caught it firmly in his hand.

The Taoist masters were scratching their heads in frustration when they heard the commotion. They all turned to look.

They immediately became stunned, and their eyes widened in disbelief.

Many of them even rubbed their eyes, thinking that they had seen an illusion.

They looked at the fish, then at their respective fishing rods, and lowered their heads in shame.

  ‘F*ck, this is too embarrassing!’

They had bragged about being fishing experts earlier, but Tang Hao, who had never fished before, caught a fish before them.

“Haha! It must have been a fluke!”

Taoist Master Qing Xu blushed. Then, he laughed and said, “You’re really lucky, Little Brother!”

“That’s right! That’s right! He only got lucky!”

  The Taoist masters laughed heartily.

Then, they returned to fishing, hoping to be the next one to catch a fish.

Tang Hao put the fish into the bucket and cast his line again.

After a short while, another fish jumped out of the water with a splash.

Hearing the noise, the Taoist masters looked up and were dumbfounded.

‘Another one? Is this even real?’

Then, they lowered their heads and looked at their fishing rods. Their faces gradually turned ashen.

This time, they were utterly humiliated.

Fellow Cultivator Tang must be secretly laughing at them!

“Haha! Your luck is really incredible, Little Brother!” Taoist Master Qing Xu laughed, but his confidence was wavering.

“Yeah! Thanks to you guys!” Tang Hao said seriously.

He cast his line again and caught another after a while. The fishes kept on biting.

The Taoist masters sat there in utter shock.

They could not close their mouths.

  “What the hell?”

They raised their heads to look at Tang Hao, then lowered their heads to look at their fishing lines that had not moved. They were losing their minds.

  ‘F*ck! This can’t be real!’

Their side of the pond had no movement at all. It seemed as though all the fish were queueing up to be caught by Tang Hao.

Their faces were ashen. They finally realized that it was not about luck at all!

Fellow Cultivator Tang was clearly a master fisher!

Tang Hao was having the time of his life, catching one fish after another.

It was exhilarating to be continuously reaping rewards.

He tried all types of bait and found that century-old ginseng and lingzhi were the best. Once he cast the line, the surface of the water boiled. It was a group of fish fighting.

The Taoist masters were dumbfounded again when they saw the scene.

  ‘Crazy! This is simply crazy!’

After filling up a bucket with fish, he retrieved another bucket. Soon, seven big buckets were filled.

Suddenly, the water in the center of the pond began to churn. It became more and more intense as if something huge was rushing toward the surface at high speed.

“It’s coming! The big fella is coming!”

Taoist Master Qing Xu stood up. His eyes were sparkling.

; The other Taoist masters also stood up and prepared for battle.

Tang Hao put down his fishing rod and stood up as well. He held a few jade talismans in each of his palms.

  Splash!

An enormous fish broke through the surface of the pond. Each scale was the size of a cattail leaf fan, and with a flick of its tail, a wave of water swept out.

As the water droplets splashed in the air, they turned into icicles and shot toward the crowd.

  “Attack!”

Taoist Master Qing Xu roared and struck first, and the other Taoist masters followed suit.

  Boom! Boom! Boom!

They shot out bolts of fire and lightning.

In just one exchange, the giant fish was heavily injured. It crashed to the ground.

“Quick! Continue! We can’t let it escape!” Taoist Master Qing Xu roared.

The water passages below the pond were numerous and complicated. Once it escaped, it would be difficult to catch it again.

Tang Hao rushed up and threw out a jade talisman.

After a few focused attacks, the fish drew its last breath and stopped moving.

Taoist Master Qing Xu went up and finished it with one sword strike.

  Then, he collected its soul.

“Wow! It’s so big! I can’t even finish it all by myself!”

Taoist Master Qian Ji walked up and touched the fish scales with a face full of admiration.

“This beast should be at the peak of the State of Qi Channeling!”

“More than that. It’s almost in the State of Foundation Establishment. If it were only the State of Qi Channeling, all of us would have been able to take it down in the first wave of attacks.”

The Taoist masters discussed among themselves.

“This soul is for you, Little Brother! I’ll give you some more meat as well. I’m going to give Qian Ji its qi core. He might be able to break through that way,” Taoist Master Qing Xu said as he handed a gourd to Tang Hao.

Tang Hao took it and nodded.

“Come here! Let’s quickly process this beast and roast the meat!” Taoist Master Qing Xu shouted.

The Taoist masters cheered and rushed forward. They removed the scales, cut open the belly, took out the internal organs, and cut the flesh into chunks.

Tang Hao took out pots, pans, bowls, portable gas stoves, dry wood, and other items.

They set up the stoves and spits so that they could roast, boil, or fry the fish.

The Taoist masters were extremely busy at work.

The fried fish was the fastest. The meat was thinly sliced and lightly seasoned. Its fragrance was intoxicating.

Tang Hao picked up a slice and stuffed it into his mouth.

The meat was as smooth as silk. As he bit gently into it, an incredibly delicious taste bloomed on the tip of his tongue.

At this moment, all the pores on his body seemed to have opened.

The meat of the giant serpent or sea dragon was nothing compared to this meat.

  “Delicious! It’s so delicious!”

Tang Hao could not help but exclaim.

The Taoist masters rushed up and fought for the meat with their chopsticks.

“It’s mine! Don’t fight for it!”

  “Damn! Save one for me!”

After taking a slice, they stuffed it into their mouths and tasted it. They were all amazed.

“This is indeed the most delicious meat! It’s no exaggeration!”

Soon, the people were full. They lay by the bonfire and closed their eyes.

“Eating meat and drinking divine liquor, what a carefree life!”

Taoist Master Qian Ji burped and lay down with a liquor jar in his arms.

After relaxing and chatting for a few hours, they sat up once more. Tang Hao gave them some of the special bait.

They almost ran out of containers for their haul.

Tang Hao began to ponder. ‘It’s not a good idea to store dead fish for too long. The longer they’re stored, the worse they taste.’

  “Should I… rear fish?”

Tang Hao arrived at that idea.

There was a small pond in the magatama pocket world, which could be used to rear fish.

Chapter 662 - An Intimate Night

When Tang Hao mentioned the idea of rearing fish, he immediately received the support of the Taoist masters.

Tang Hao opened the pocket world.

The Taoist masters followed him in. When they looked around, they exclaimed in surprise and amazement.

An expanse of verdant green stretched into a range of undulating mountains. It was a very beautiful scene.

“This must be lingzhi! Damn! Why Is it so big? It must be at least a hundred years old!”

“Oh my god! What is that thing? Why is it golden and shining? Wow! It smells so good! Why does it smell like divine liquor?”

The Taoist masters exclaimed from time to time as they walked.

When they came to the pond, the Taoist masters looked at it and shook their heads.

  “It’s too small!”

“That’s right! It needs to be at least several times bigger!”

“Also, the spirit skate needs a cold habitat. Your pond isn’t suitable!” Said Taoist Master Qing Xu.

After hearing that, Tang Hao pondered for a moment and said, “It’s simple. If it’s too small, we can enlarge it by digging. Then, we can set up a talisman formation around it to gather cold qi and solve the problem of habitat.”

  “Alright, let’s dig!”

Immediately, the Taoist masters rolled up their sleeves and began to work.

First, they used exploding jade talismans to create big holes. Then, they used shovels. The progress was very fast. Meanwhile, Tang Hao sat at the side and made jade talismans for the formation.

In just over an hour, the pond had expanded several times. They then dug holes around the pond and buried the talisman formation.

Next, they took buckets, returned to the icy cave, and filled them with water from the pond. They poured all the water into the pond in the pocket world and finally, poured the fish in.

After their work, they ate another meal, then packed up and left.

It was already noon when they returned to the village.

Taoist Master Qing Xu and Taoist Master Qian Ji stayed behind and prepared to continue their journey northward to the Greater and Lesser Khingan Ranges. Tang Hao and the others left by car and took a plane back to Province J before going back to Mao Mountain.

“Thank you, Taoist masters!” Before leaving, Tang Hao thanked the Taoist masters.

His trip to Changbai Mountain had yielded a lot. To him, it was a pleasant surprise.

“Ha! You’re too polite. No need to thank us!”

“That’s right! Take care, Fellow Cultivator Tang! Come again when you have time!”

The Taoist masters stood at the mountain gate and waved at him.

It was already four o’clock in the morning when he returned to Provincial City.

Tang Hao returned home and entered the magatama pocket world. He checked the condition of the fish, chopped up some ginseng and lingzhi, and scattered them into the pond.

In an instant, the fish swarmed over and fought over them.

“Don’t rush! There’s enough for everyone!”

  Tang Hao sprinkled another ladleful.

He was satisfied when he looked at the pond.

The spirit skates were not as big as the one they caught, but the meat was nonetheless extremely delicious. It was not hyperbole to call it the most delicious meat in the world. The fish in the pond was enough to last them a long time, but in the future, when the population multiplied, he could even start selling them.

‘How about… setting up a company for that?’ Tang Hao pondered.

‘There’s no rush. I’ll come back to the idea when there’s more fish.’

He sprinkled some fish food. Then, he tended to the Liquor Tree and the Tree of Youth before leaving.

  Outsi
de, the sky was already beginning to brighten.

Tang Hao took a hot shower and changed into a set of clean clothes. Then, he took his backpack and went out.

After going downstairs, he walked towards the exit.

Suddenly, he noticed someone standing there.

He stopped in his tracks and was stunned.

Thea was standing at the exit.

She wore a white shirt and a short skirt, which made her look fashionable and beautiful. Her golden hair was draped over her shoulders. Under the sunlight, it seemed to glow dazzlingly.

She looked at Tang Hao and smiled brightly. “Good morning!”

  Tang Hao was stunned again.

  “You’re… back!” Tang Hao muttered.

  “Yes!”

She nodded, walked over quickly, and held Tang Hao’s hand.

“Don’t forget that I’m still going after you! Of course I’ll come back!”

  “Ahem!” Tang Hao coughed lightly.

“However, I can’t stay here for too long, only a few days every month. I landed the day before yesterday, and I’ll have to go back in three days.”

She sighed and sounded somewhat regretful as she spoke.

  “Alright, enough talk. Let’s go!”

She took Tang Hao’s hand and walked out.

Everything was just like before. They rode on the bus, ate breakfast together, and went home together after class.

  “This is so nice!”

After getting off the bus, she strolled along the road outside the residential area. “It’s so much more fun here. If only… I could stay here for a few more days,” she sighed.

When they got home, Tang Hao made dinner.

“What fish is this? It’s so delicious!” She asked incredulously.

She almost swallowed her tongue while tasting the fish.

After dinner, they sat down in front of the television and watched a movie.

It was a comedy, which made her giggle uncontrollably. Then, she asked Tang Hao to play the piano while she sat next to him, resting her cheeks on her hands and watching attentively.

Her gaze was full of affection.

She would subconsciously smile as she looked.

“Continue playing! I’m going to take a shower!”

Suddenly, she stood up, walked up next to Tang Hao, pecked him on the cheek, and giggled before turning around and going to the bathroom.
