Billy the Barbarian 1: The Heights of Dread: An Isekai Sword and Sorcery Harem Lit Adventure Fantasy!

“Alright then,” Billy said. “Let's talk.”
They spoke then of great mountains and volcanoes with fiery calderas, of cursed plains and desolate lands rife with unholy beasts from an age that even the gods had forgotten. They spoke of destiny and desire, of doom and daring, and with each word that left Isandra's lips, another patch of goosebumps ignited on the barbarian's mostly exposed skin.
His destiny had become clear. Kinghood. Godhood. Heroism. These were the words that Isandra used to describe the journey to come, and Billy believed them. Perhaps it was his folly to do so, but he clung to each precious word and found an eagerness—no, a desperation—to see his quest done.
Back home, he had been no one. Here he would be something else. But even as he embraced his destiny, doubts lingered in his mind and the minds of the women that followed him.
He was sure the quest would be fraught with peril and pain. Sword and tooth would pierce his flesh, fire would burn him, and powerful nemeses would test him. That he could handle. But could he handle the loss of Audelia? Of Kaya? Or even Isandra?
It mattered not. His destiny did not involve loitering in taverns or crowding a bed at a murky inn each day of his life. His decision was made. All that was left was to risk everything for the cultivation of his own holy vocation. What nobler goal would he find, after all? He looked over the high priestess’s shoulder, and for the first time, he saw a world that he could learn to love—at least once he had forged it in his image.
