"It was steep as fuck, asshole." He stood up and slapped his hand across his chest. "And for this shit, pussy is still off the goddamn menu. Fuck."

  "You'll live."

  "Bet the fuck I won't!"

Xavier shook his head and hopped the sidewalk to reach one of the library windows. After taking a peek at the high-tech equipment and hordes of student's moving about the overly large space, he whistled. "Shit." He peeked over his shoulder to glance at Scooter and arched his brow. "These assholes got the kinda computers a motherfucker like Big Tech would give up his right nut for. Paper thin laptops -- printers that look like some of those receipt machines from the Quick Stop."

"Yeah? Lemme see that shit." Scooter moved next to him and peeked inside for himself. "Goddamn." He grinned while watching a slew of female students move between tables while tugging at their skirts and low hanging tank tops, and dropped his hand to his jeans, giving his cock a solid pat as it became stiff. "Just one good suck from a bitch with fat lips in there and I'd be al-fuckin'-right with this shit out here tonight."

"Would headin' back down the hill to stick your cock inside the hole of that tree trunk shut your ass up?"

"Might be a goddamn start, but unless you've got a bitch in there waitin' for me with an open mouth right after, the answer is a hard-ass, fuckin' no, brother."

Xavier grumbled. "I need to take a piss for myself. Wait your ass out here while I step inside this place and don't try some shit 'fore I get back."

"What the fuck am I gonna do but jack off to the tight pussy you'll be seein' up close and personal in there?"

Xavier pointed. "You try that shit and your ass gets arrested by whatever dipshit, cookie cuttin' cop might be walkin' 'round out here with a plastic badge. Like Prez said, keep your cock zipped. I'll be right fuckin' back."

After moving into the building, he stopped near the information desk to ask for the nearest men's room.

As the woman sitting behind it turned from her computer and looked into his crystal blue eyes, a fire built inside her own. "Hi." She smiled wide enough to light a dark room with the shine from her teeth and raised her hand to the back of her hair, twirling a thick blond strand around the tip of her finger. Her skin burned bright red as she gulped.

Xavier snickered in knowing his personal affect on women, realizing for the first time in ages how much was being used to a better advantage than being openly known for the club. "Bathroom, darlin'?"

"Um..." She lowered her voice and leaned across the desk to show off the size of her breasts, then lifted her other hand to point. "Take the stairs up and to the left," she told him. "At the end of the first hallway; it's isolated."

He nodded after taking a quick glance down her partially opened blouse, then winked and turned on his heel. "Thanks, darlin'."

After finishing in the bathroom, he returned to the stairs, but stopped at the sound of a familiar voice. His brow lifted as he strolled across the hallway and between rows of books in search of where it had come from, then lowered at the sight of a woman he hadn't seen since she bailed from his bed three years ago, as she stood before him laughing and talking with another man.

  It was Mariah Edwards.

And this motherfucker was in love with her all over again.

  "Fuck."

From head to goddamn toe, she remained the most beautiful woman on earth. The same sweet brown skin that seemed to shine brighter than the last time he remembered and dark brown hair that always tangled between his fingers as it curled under at her waist; she still had the body of a woman he knew he would crave long after his own death and the face of an angel given to her by God Himself.

The thought of tasting her again sent his mind into overdrive, forced his cock to harden and slam against the seam of his jeans.

The thought of who she tasted long after leaving the club fueled him with the rage of a man who only knew 'calm' at the warmth of her touch.

As her fat, heavy tits sat behind a tight brown blouse that matched the natural color of her eyes, he dragged his hand across his mouth and swallowed hard; he jerked his pants to hide that growing erection and cleared his throat loud enough to send the noise vibrating across the room.

When her gaze finally found his own, her mouth dropped; her breath caught as the corners of her lips twitched.

He waved and pointed toward a corner of the room.

"Excuse me." She flashed a quick smile at the man she had been speaking with before fixing her blouse and skirt, then made her way to Xavier and crossed her arms. He slid his tongue between his lips while looking into her face, then lowered his gaze to her breasts as they lifted with every intake of breath. "What the hell...?" she gasped, her pinched voice faded as a sudden warmth filled her cheeks, as a rush of tears soaked her eyes while searching for answers in the bright blue color of his own. "What are you doing here?" He dropped his hands alongside himself, remaining silent, unable to respond. She frowned. "Did you know that I was here?" He shook his head and grinded his teeth as her arms tightened. "What the hell are you doing here, Xavier?" She glanced at his hoodie and made a face. "Where is your cut?"

"Inside." He yanked the collar of his hood. "Prez doesn't want us out here lookin' like we don't belong."

"Us?" She looked aside and knit her brows with question. "The club is here with you?"

"Just Scooter. Asshole is waitin' for me outside this place."

"Oh..." Her voice softened; she took in a deep breath and swallowed it back as the air settled between them. "Why are you out here? What's going on?"

"Club shit," he said. "Our business is bein' usurped by some dick wavin' assholes out here."

Her head jerked. "What business does the club have going outside of the bar and garage since Rocka turned in his patches and took over ACE'S?" He pinched his brows and sniffed, then swiped his hand beneath his nose. "Oh..." She paused and thought for a moment, then rattled her head. "You think people are doing this on the school's campus?"

"Sellin' it on campus, yeah. Big Tech got proof on the shit 'bout a week ago. Orders for us had been dryin' up overtime and now they've come to a whole ass, goddamn halt 'cause of these fucks."

  "Is it the teachers, students?"

"Could be both -- we ain't too sure on that much yet. It's why I'm out here tonight; Prez wanted us goin' 'round to see what was up 'fore the club took action." He brought his hands to his waist and sighed. "You teachin' out here these days or some shit?"

"Going to school," she said. "I'm in my second year. After turning in my 'uniform' at ACE'S, I bounced between jobs before enrolling for a psych degree."

He snickered. "Guess that'd be about right since you were always good as fuck with analyzin' my shit."

She grinned up at him, admiring the growing beard and flash of lines in his face. "And you were terrible in taking my advice when needed."

"Yeah..." He nodded, doing his goddamn best to avoid the intensity of her gaze. "Maybe I shoulda for some of the shit you used to tell me 'bout... Maybe I'd have been better off than what the fuck I am right now."

"What are you right now, Xavier?"

He deeply exhaled as the question passed through him, as it rested beneath the surface of another he was certain to have for himself soon enough. "A lost motherfucker lookin' to be found," he said. "Maybe one tryin' to save what's left of his club from self-destruction; maybe save what's left of myself." His eyes returned to hers; he peered. "You got any insight on the shit goin' down out here?"

"Obviously none. I don't stay in the dorms or hang around too many parties on campus, but needed to read up on something for a class tonight."

  "A fuckin' Saturday?"

"What else do I have to do anymore?"

"I could think of a few goddamn things -- none of which include you bein' out here... You stayin' anywhere close by?"

"An apartment complex fifteen minutes north of here." She stepped closer to him and tugged at his hoodie. The air between them warmed as her fingers curled around the fabric
, as her lips parted and the memory of their last time together swept across the tip of her tongue. "What were you planning to do with whatever you found out here tonight, Xavier?"

"Take it back to the club."

"And then what?" she questioned. "If something were to go down, would you tell me about it?"

"Keep you outta harms way?" He bobbed his head. "But Prez ain't wantin' us to go through here guns a blazin'."

  "What does he want?"

"Me out here, scopin' shit from the inside."

"What do you mean? Beyond what you're doing tonight?"

He bobbed his head again and leaned away from her. "What do you know about... motherfuckers... teachin' up in here?"

She guffawed and lowered her hand from him. "What do you mean?"

"Teachin'. You know how that shit happens?"

"They apply on the school's website under 'careers' like everyone else. I've tried a few times to become a TA without so much as an interview to follow the application... Why?"

He sighed heavily and grimaced. "Coco's thinkin' in all this shit was that I could work here--?"

"As what?" She laughed aloud and threw her hand across her mouth, clamping her lips together before anyone else in the room could hear. "I'm sorry." She dropped her hand and shook her head. "I didn't meant to blurt it out like that, but work out here as what, exactly?"

"Teachin' some shit the pussy loves showing up for."

"Pussy?" She momentarily closed her eyes and winced. "How does pussy get you into finding out who's selling powder?"

"Pussy is the reason these small dicked assholes are sellin' it, or so we think."

"And you plan to do what as a result? Get close enough to a student in the hope she knows enough to tell you who the hell they might be?"

He looked aside and arched his brows as he shrugged. "Ain't like we got much else to work with out here, Mariah."

"Well, what you've already 'got' could get you a felony if the student you cozy up to turns out to be underage, Xavier."

A flash of uncertainty crossed his face; he scowled. "It's fuckin' college."

  "That doesn't matter."

  "Why the fuck wouldn't it?"

"Because not every student is over the age of eighteen, which is something I'm certain Coco didn't think about when he suggested this trash idea. Not to mention, becoming a teacher on campus is no guaranteed way of finding out which students or other teachers might've usurped the club's earnings."

"We're outta ideas, Mariah -- You wanna help a motherfucker out? Start comin' up with somethin' of your own."

"I don't know anything to help you."

"Then why the fuck are we still talkin' 'bout this shit, darlin'?"

"Because I could know someone who might."

  He eyed her, curious. "Yeah?"

She nodded. "My roommate Gabi works at the University Center three days a week. She knows the ins and outs of campus activities and various students -- she could know something about what's going down."

  "And she'd tell us?"

"For a price, sure." She refolded her arms and jerked her shoulders. "We met out here after I enrolled and buddied up to me after recognizing my face from the club."

  He chortled. "You're shittin' me."

"No. She was convinced we should be bonded from that alone."

"What the fuck made her ditch the club to come out here?"

"She never really ditched so much as she was kicked out after one of the brothers caught her going through his phone for other women. I think Pecker or Cheddar -- I'm not exactly sure which. But she claims that she left him with blue balls."

"Shit. What would she want from us now?"

"The hope for a way back in unless the rest of them don't remember her at all. And maybe a crack at Scooter, if he's willing."

"He'll be fuckin' willin' no matter what the fuck she's done or who the fuck she did it to -- long as his dick gets sucked the right way. She at home now?"

"She should be. I can take you to meet her for the price of a ride."

"All I've got is my bike, darlin'."

"I remember what it's like to sit behind you, even for a few seconds." She reached for a strand of his hair to tuck behind his ear and rolled her tongue between her lips while staring between his own. "Not exactly something that can be so easily forgotten, you know?"

The smell of her skin, a sweet honey flavor, forced that asshole to rethink his entire fuckin' life, and what the hell it meant now that she was no longer part of what he had become. "Thought you might've tried to forget that shit the minute you took off," he said.

"I wouldn't..." Her eyes narrowed as she brushed the bridge of his ear with the tip of her thumb. "I loved you and the club, Xavier, I still do. But me in it for as long as I had been--"

  "Fucked you up."

"No... I just needed something beyond being on my knees for your brothers and the shit that would sometimes come along with it, especially all that I ever got from Rocka."

"I offered you more than expected that night, babe -- more than whatever the fuck came outta my cock and you know that shit."

"You offered it with the chance of taking back every word the next morning."

"You wouldn't have known the shit either way with slinkin' outta my goddamn house after I took off to the club, Mariah."

Her eyes slipped from his as the heat from her cheeks ballooned to her lungs. She deeply inhaled and folded her hands as a question crossed her lips. "You're saying that had I stayed, the offer of making it real between us would've remained? The high of you being inside me again wouldn't have worn off the minute the sun came up?"

He parted his lips to respond, but pulled back at the sudden ringing of his cell. "Shit." He shut his eyes and reached into his pocket for it, then glanced at the calling number.

Mariah loosened her hands and smiled. "Saved by the bell?"

"Fuckin' hardly in this case, darlin'." He lifted the phone to his ear after pushing the button to answer, and shook his head. "What the fuck is it, asshole?"

"Where the fuck is your ass AT, motherfucker?" Scooter spat from the other end. "My cock is stiff as a block of goddamn concrete watchin' these bitches bounce around out here with tits I can't suck, asses I can't smack -- tongues that ain't ever gonna know the flavor of my balls. Like they're tauntin' me or some shit -- lookin' sexy as fuck in these tight assed clothes -- knowin' I can't have a piece of 'em. Fuck -- Are you in there takin' a goddamn dump or some shit? You find some bitch to suck you off instead?"

"I took a goddamn piss, asshole -- just like I fuckin' said I needed to do," he shot back. "But I ran into Mariah on the way back outside, and--"

"Mariah who? From the goddamn club?" Scooter paused to reflect on his own question and smirked. "Jesus Christ -- What the fuck is she doin' out here -- poppin' pussy for dime bags from these low-rent motherfuckers?"

She bent forward and glared. "I can hear him out here," she muttered.

"Shit." Xavier swiped his hand across his forehead and tapped his foot against the floor. "She needs a ride back to her apartment -- 'bout fifteen minutes from campus. Said she's got a roommate willin' to suck you off if--"

"Say no fuckin' more on that end, brother." He darted from the parking lot. "Bring her and let's roll the fuck out. I'm gonna get a head goddamn start."

After hanging up and dropping his cell back into his pocket, Xavier flicked his thumb and stepped back. "You still want me to give you that ride?"

Mariah rolled her bottom lip between her teeth and lowered her eyes until they reached the crease of his pants; she bit back a smile in noticing the thick bulge pushing against his zipper. "Yes." She needed that ride from him -- bitch was all too goddamn desperate for it. He could see that shit, feel it right down to the tip of his goddamn cock as it twitched for her.

Jesus, did he like having that feeling much more than he should've again, much more than he knew could be allowed.

  He didn't give a fuck.

  "Alright." He steppe
d aside as a full blown smile arched the corners of his mouth and showed her his hand. "Lead the goddamn way to paradise, darlin'."

She brushed her hand across his cheek, allowing her fingers to dip along the corner of his jaw. As it tightened at the softness of her touch, at the memory of how warm she felt against his skin, she leaned into him and slightly opened her mouth.

They stared into one another's eyes with an abundance of pain that nearly swallowed them whole for what felt like an eternity until she finally pulled back. "I'm sorry." She rested her hand across her chest and rolled her fingers atop her heart. "Xavier, I'm--"

  "Yeah, babe. I know."

  "No," she started, "you don't--"

  "We should head out."

As he turned from her and headed down the stairs without another word, the memory of leaving him behind flashing before her eyes, she dragged her hand past her breasts and to her stomach.

After watching him move outside, a lump settling in her throat with every passing second, she quickly glided down the stairs and caught up with him in the parking lot.

He peeked over at her as they shuffled between cars and tilted bicycles, and raised his brow. "You ain't got a purse or nothin' with you tonight?" She shook her head. He frowned. "Where the fuck do you keep your keys and shit? A goddamn wallet?"

She reached inside her blouse and yanked at her bra strap. The corners of his eyes crinkled at the bright red color of fabric. "Built in purse," she told him. "Remember?"

He snickered and bobbed his head. "Yeah, babe. I do."

She smiled in return, then shifted her gaze to avoid the rolling waves of tension growing within his own. "Where the hell did you and Scooter park?" Her eyes darted across the lot in question. When they finally reached the edge, he jerked his chin and pointed ahead. Her mouth dropped as she guffawed. "Why so far away instead of near the corner of campus? No one would've said anything when you look like a typical student out here."

"Babe." Genuine shock crossed his face as he stepped back from her and stared down at himself. "What the fuck about my ass looks like it belongs out here with you?" He opened his hands and wrinkled his nose. "I look like a motherfuckin' criminal despite this hood coverin' my shit."
