I put my pen down, and looked at the work I had just finished. I couldn't help but think that perhaps I was becoming a bit too close to my writing.
It really didn't help me in the least to have Twitter running in the background while I wrote. Damn that Wil Wheaton anyway, sometimes he had some of the most interesting things to say. It wasn't helping me either that these days he liked to portray an evil type character.
I think next time I am going to sit down and write a story, I will make a mental note to keep my Internet offline, and just write what is inside my head.
It is scary enough in there without any outside influences.
