Trading with the Boys: A Reverse Harem Romance Page 12

… when it came to the bedroom, I was a happy, happy girl.

Now that’s the understatement of the century.

Overall it had been a wild couple of weeks. Tate had been busier than ever at the garage, and Cole had been working ten-hour days to get the basement move-in ready. Even so, the four of us found time to hang out. There wasn’t a night where I wasn’t sprawled out in my living room with one or more of the guys. Usually relaxing with a few drinks, some good food, and a whole lot of mind-erasing, life-altering sex.

  “You ready to roll?”

It launched me into a daydream, every time I just thought about it. And I thought about it a lot.

“Yeah,” I said, snapping out of it. “Let’s go.”

Just then, Jacob’s roommates entered the hallway. They eyed the two of us over as we emerged from the bedroom, giving us a couple of smug ‘we know what you were doing’ looks. Jacob rolled his eyes at them — probably for my benefit. But I wasn’t beyond a little fun.

“Best study break ever,” I winked, pretending to fan myself as we passed them.

“So I’m gonna be out of town for a couple days,” Tate said. He picked up his fork and skewered another piece of fried calamari. “Finally convinced the stubborn old man to see an eye doctor.”

“You’re uncle’s a mule for sure” remarked Cole. “But why out of town?”

“The doc’s an AMD specialist. The best on this side of the country, apparently.”

Tucking my order pad into my pocket, I slid into the booth beside them. My legs instantly thanked me. “AMD?”

“Age-related macular degeneration,” Tate replied. He swore the words like they were a curse. “Bad stuff.”

I’d known his uncle had eye problems, but I figured at that age they were the same as everyone else’s. Tate’s expression said differently, however.

“Anyway, when I get back I’m hiring someone,” he went on. “I don’t care what the old man says. I can’t run the sales lot and fix the cars. Not anymore.”

The four of them had ordered the same thing: chicken parmesan. I’d tried talking them out of it, but they’d been adamant and stubborn. I brought them the calamari anyway.

“You said he’s been staying at his girlfriend’s house,” said Jacob. “So you’ve been running that place by yourself?”

“I’ve got two other mechanics,” said Tate. “And some guy who runs the books and does the appointments, too. But it’s not a huge shop, but we’ve got a lot of people coming through. When my unc was younger, he could juggle things. Now he can’t.”

“And the worst part is he doesn’t want to admit it,” I theorized. “Right?”

Tate dragged the piece of fried squid through our house marinara sauce and pointed it at me. “Spot on.”

“Alright,” said Cole. “Anything special you want us to do?”

“Just keep an eye on the place maybe,” Tate said. “Stop in. Ask for Max. See if Max needs anything, and if he does, see if you can help him with it.”

“Good enough,” Jacob nodded. “We can do that.”

Tate nodded, his expression much more relaxed. “I appreciate it.”

I watched him pop the calamari into his mouth and start chewing. A few moments later he shot me an approving look. “Alright, these little chicken rings aren’t bad,” he said.

I laughed on the inside, keeping the straightest face I could muster. “Glad you like em’.”

  “Serena!”

The shrill voice of my manager hit me from behind like a bucket of icy water. Twisting in the booth, I held up one finger suggesting I’d be right there.

“Uh oh,” smiled Cole. “Someone’s in trouble.”

“If anyone’s in trouble it’s him,” I said, jerking my head sideways. “Wait until he sees how much overtime I accumulated this week.”

Jacob nodded. “I’ve been swamped with lawns too,” he said. “And staying up late studying hasn’t helped productivity.”

“Studying, eh?” smirked Tate. He shot me a sideways glance before tearing into the calamari again. “Is that what we’re calling it?”

“Well that plus studying,” Jacob admitted.

“I could help you with that calculus if you want,” I told him. “It’s been a while, but it should come back to me quickly. I vaguely remember acing it in college.”

“Aced calculus,” Cole whistled admiringly. “Look at you.”

“I really loved college,” I said, losing myself in the nostalgia of thinking back. “I was a little bit of a nerd, actually.”

  “Did you finish?” asked Tate.

  “No.”

  “And why not?”

“I hated the degree I was going for,” I told them. “Business.”

  “Just business?” asked Tate.

I nodded regretfully. “Lots of economics. Boring as hell. By the time I decided to change, my parents weren’t supportive of it. They couldn’t see me majoring in the visual arts; everything was digital and confusing to them. I ended up getting a job to pay my own way, but I couldn’t afford all the credits.”

I thought back to that time in my life, trying hard to be independent. Paying for my own place, my own education, my own everything.

“Anyway I started taking more and more shifts at the local diner and less and less classes.” I shrugged. “You know how that slide goes.”

“Yeah,” nodded Tate. “Been there done that. One day you wake up and you’re not in college anymore. You’re just working.”

I smiled at him as he ate another ‘chicken ring.’ It was always good when someone else understood.

“In the end a friend of mine planned on traveling the country, and I thought that sounded like fun so I started saving. We took the summer off together, she and I. Halfway through the trip we stopped here and I met Eric. Six months later, we were married.”

  “Six months?” said Cole. “Damn.”

“Hey, what can I say? I fall hard,” I smiled demurely. “I mean… look at what happened with you boys.”

“Yeah… well that was us,” Jacob smiled proudly, flexing one arm.

  “Oh,” I laughed. “Okay.”

  “SERENA!”

I popped up, wincing as my knees popped and my arches felt that familiar ache.

“So which one of you is rubbing my feet tonight?” I asked nonchalantly.

Before they could figure it out I spun away and headed for my nearest assigned table. But not before winking over my shoulder.

“And not him,” I pointed to Tate. “He’s getting a special sendoff.”

  SERENA

  “You ready? No peeking.”

Cole’s big hands covered my eyes from behind, blocking my vision with the totality of a pitch black room. His fingers were warm, but then again his fingers were always warm. His whole body too, come to think of it.

“I’m more than ready!” I told him excitedly. The smell of fresh paint filled my nostrils. “No more suspense. No more keeping secr—”

He removed his hands, and my pupils dilated with the sudden influx of light. It streamed in through the high-set windows, and beamed down from fresh new high hats.

  “Oh my God, Cole!”

He hadn’t let me in the basement for a few days now, while he put the finishing touches on everything he was doing. The others had kept things secret too. But now…

  “It’s gorgeous!”

I glided slowly through the basement like a kid in a toy store, spinning to look at everything at the same time. The once-dingy walls were now bright and beautiful. The scratched, filthy floors had been refinished, stained, and sealed to perfection.

But it was the detail work that really stood out. Cole had installed wainscoting around the entire living area, and chair rails in the kitchen. The moldings were flawless. The fixtures he’d picked were clean, contemporary and beautiful.

“Come on,” he said, taking my hand. “Wait ti
ll’ you see the bathroom.”

I followed along in shock, still gaping at everything from the wrought-iron wine rack to the floating wood shelves where the old kitchen cabinets used to be. Everything looked sleeker and cleaner than it did before.

“Cole, this is unbelievable,” I swore. “Totally beyond expectations. It makes me want to live here!”

“Yeah, well you already promised it to me,” he chuckled. “But you can come by and visit anytime.”

He pulled me into the bathroom, which was an even bigger transformation. Instead of the prefab shower stall we’d originally talked about, Cole had knocked down a wall and absorbed an adjoining closet. This gave him enough room to put in a full-sized tile shower, with a beautiful glass door.

  “Check it out.”

Cole pushed a series of buttons, and the shower sprang to life. Hot water poured forth, as a digital readout showed the temperature right down to the half-degree.

“It’s a steam shower too,” he said, turning one of the other knobs. A red light inside the enclosure blinked on, as the little room began filling with steam. “Been waiting for you, though.”

“You’ve been waiting to show it to me?”

“No,” he said, reaching out and tugging my shorts down. “To help christen it with me.”

Cole’s hands were one of his best features, and they moved fluidly over my body like they had minds of their own. I stood there and let him strip me naked, then did the same to him. In no time we were kissing, our tongues dueling hotly as he popped the door open and dragged me into the shower. The hot spray enveloped us in a cocoon of heat and warmth, as the steam rose up around us.

  Mmmmmm…

His body felt warm and hard, pressed so wonderfully against mine. But it was his face I wanted to look at. I held his cheeks in my hands until his eyes found mine.

“This was an incredible thing you did for me,” I murmured, my lips still pressed lightly against his. “Thank you.”

“An incredible thing for an incredible woman,” he countered softly. “I’m glad it’s you.”

He kissed me again and again, until I felt dizzy. When I could speak again, it was barely a whisper.

  “Glad what’s me?” I asked.

“That I did this for,” he shrugged simply. “Not sure if you know this Serena, but you’re my girl. You make me happy, you occupy my thoughts. You’re all I ever think about.”

My heart soared. I felt the same way about him!

“Really?” I asked, my face breaking into a smile.

  “Really.”

“Because Cole, I’ve been thinking about you day and night. You and the others. I— I don’t think I could ever choose, though. It’s nothing I could—”

His hand caressed my face, even as he pulled me in by the asscheek with his other palm.

“Don’t even say it,” Cole said softly. “We already understand. We’ve also discussed it, and none of us would ever dream of asking you to make that choice.”

He kissed me, and I melted into him. Between our wet, heated bodies, I could feel his hardness jutting upward, pinned between his groin and my belly.

“Here, let me show you something else.”

In one smooth motion he spun me around, and suddenly his diamond-like hardness was nestled in the valley between my ass cheeks. His hands slid over mine. They pressed my palms into the opposite shower wall, and pinned them there tightly.

“I’ve waited all day for this.”

He bent me at the waist just enough to slide into me, easily guiding himself home. I bit my lip and sighed, it felt so amazing. Especially with his hands screwed so firmly and possessively over mine.

“The whole time I worked down here, I’ve thought about this moment.”

Cole stayed motionless for a long moment, just enjoying the feel of being buried inside me. He was kissing my neck. Letting the hot water stream down our bodies, as we continued grinding against each other in the steam.

When he finally began sawing in and out of me, I lowered my head in rapture. I had an apartment now. A tenant. One who just happened to be my boyfriend, too…

  Three boyfriends.

The thought of it made me even hotter, if such a thing were possible. I’d gone from flirting with these three gorgeous guys to spreading my legs and screwing them senseless. From a life of loneliness and independence to one of love and teamwork.

  Teamwork?

That part made me nervous. I hadn’t depended on anyone in years, and the last time I had I’d been let down. Eric had abandoned me so fast it left me no time to prepare, or even recover. And now…

Well maybe now I was growing dependent on these men too.

That part made me nervous, but it was a nervousness overridden by the intensity of my desire. I longed for these men, every day. Not just physically, but for the emotional bonds we were building as well. For the first time in ages my cold, empty house was filled with warmth and laughter. Every minute I spent at work, I looked forward to coming home. And yes, my sex life was supercharged — three times better than it ever was.

Everything was the exact opposite of a month ago.

I groaned as Cole’s hands slid to my hips, gripping them firmly as he increased the intensity of the pounding. The rush of pleasure broke me out of my daydream. The slap of his hard abdomen against my soft, rounded ass became more and more frequent, as he drilled me faster and faster.

  “You’re gonna…”

I sighed loudly, flipping my hair back. Water splashed everywhere.

  “You’re gonna make me coooo—”

The rest of my sentence was drawn into a long, beautiful orgasm. It spread outward from the mouth of my arousal, spreading like an inner fire as it enveloped my body and took over my brain.

  This is heaven.

Convulsion after convulsion, I came all over Cole’s incredible cock. The curve brought the head straight up against my G-spot, where he held it pinned tightly throughout my entire glorious climax.

I dropped my hands at the end, hanging there limply in his arms. He was kissing my neck again. Nuzzling my ear.

“Come for me,” I told him, still out of breath. “Please.”

The shower abruptly stopped. My lover popped the door open, and pulled an oversized towel — one he’d already somehow placed there — from a nearby towel rack.

“I will,” he whispered, his lips tickling my ear. “But not here.”

  JACOB

  “YO!”

It was my third ‘yo’ so far, and I hadn’t gotten a single ‘yo’ in response. The door had been unlocked, and the house was well-lit. Cole’s truck was parked out front, too.

And yet every room in the house was empty.

“You guys get abducted or what?”

I’d checked the bedrooms, the bathrooms, everywhere except…

  “Ah.”

Jogging down the steps into the basement, I saw lights on down there too. I could smell fresh paint. The air was warm and humid, with the hint of steam coming from the bathroom.

  “Mmmm…”

The sound was faint but unmistakable. Even more so, because it came from the bedroom.

  “Whoa…”

I walked in on a beautiful sight. Serena was on the bed, propped up on all fours, with her ass high in the air. Feverishly going down on my friend.

“Guess you showed her the place, huh?”

Cole nodded dreamily from the other end of the pillow, lost in the euphoria of our girlfriend’s hot mouth. I couldn’t blame him for not talking. I knew exactly what that mouth felt like, and it had rendered me speechless on many occasions.

Serena slid Cole’s curved member from her mouth with a wet ‘pop’, then turned to look at me over her shoulder.

  “Hi, baby.”

Her words made me stir instantly, below the belt. I was tired. Hungry. Over the course of the day I’d done seven lawns and a church picnic field, and had taken two classes this morning.

; But damn, I was suddenly reinvigorated.

“The shower works if you wanna clean up,” Cole sighed, as she went back to work on him with one wet fist. She was still looking at me, though. “There’s a semi-clean towel in there too.”

I peeled my shirt off, watching Serena’s eyes crawl my sweaty, dirty body. She looked hungrier than ever. Smiling, she shifted to wag her ass in my direction.

“Pretty sure he can shower afterward,” she purred happily. “Am I right?”

I was naked in seconds, stroking myself hard. By the time I made it to the end of the bed, Serena was already reaching back for me.

“Besides,” she said seductively. “I don’t mind my boys a little dirty.”

“Or a lot dirty,” I chuckled, looking myself over.

Serena’s subsequent wink told me she didn’t care. She turned back to swallow Cole all the way to the root, then licked up and down a few times. Just the sight of it made me all the rest of the way hard.

“Mmm--MMMmmm…” she mumbled, around my friend’s saliva-coated shaft. Her slender wrist pulled me right up against her dripping slit. “Don’t be shy.”

Her hips felt like a thousand degrees as my hands slid over them. Then, without doing much of anything, I was suddenly inside her. She’d bucked backward the second I was lined up with her molten channel, which somehow felt even hotter than her hips did.

“Fuck me,” I sighed mostly to myself, pulling out and sinking into her again and again. She was starting to become familiar. Just as exciting as always — probably even more so — but the feel of her body, and the way she rolled those hips as we came together for each stroke?

Well, that was the sort of thing that came with experience.

I watched the hot scene unfolding before me; Cole sinking his hands into Serena’s wet hair as she went down on him. I continued fucking her, squeezing her hips and sliding my palms over her ass. I leaned forward to cup her breasts from beneath, eliciting a groan of approval that vibrated her lips around my friend’s throbbing manhood.
