My Hero, Lincoln : Chosen Book 19
Page 4
"Holy shit," he moaned as his eyes rolled back in his head. "You taste even better than you smell."
I didn't know what that meant. Ten minutes ago, I wouldn't have taken that as a compliment considering I'd thought he'd been complaining to his brother about the way I smelled, but the look on his face said something completely different.
He licked at the barbell of my PA, flicking his tongue against the metal, before opening his mouth and taking my dick to the back of his throat. The air in my lungs left me on a noisy sign that fell somewhere between a groan and a whimper that sounded nothing like my normal voice. My knees gave slightly, and I had to reach behind me to steady myself against the wall of the shower.
He swallowed me down, moaning around my cock like he was the one being sucked off and I bit the shit out of my lip, whimpering like a fool as he pulled off, and then was swallowing me again.
His warm hand slid up my inner thigh before cupping my balls in his hand and lightly tugging them down. When his fingers slid behind them and then to the crease of my ass, I groaned, spreading my legs to give him access to whatever the fuck he wanted.
I felt my balls pull tight just as the pad of his finger brushed my puckered entrance.
"Fuck, Linc. I'm about to go," I warned, but was ignored as he pressed the tip just barely inside me and gave a slight tug at my rim.
I groaned, flooding his mouth with seed, pure ecstasy rolling through my body. He grunted around me and I watched in fascination as his dick jerked hard and rope after rope of seed shot from his tip against the bottom of the shower.
He'd just gotten off from sucking me. It was amazing and the hottest fucking thing I'd ever seen in my life, and my dick tried to jerk back to life to prove it.
"What the fuck?!" Decker yelled from the doorway and I looked up to see him spinning around, giving us his back. "Now I need fucking therapy."
"I told you not to come here," Lincoln growled, using my hips to pull himself into a standing position. "And you're a shifter! How did you not hear what was happening?"
"Because, dipshit," he said, and I fought the irritation rising inside me that Decker would talk to my man that way.
But Lincoln wasn't my man and they'd been fighting like this since we were young. Getting mad would be irrational. I didn't get irrationally mad. I refused to.
"You'd be surprised how much happy moans sound like unhappy moans, and you were pissed when I got off the phone with you," Decker grumbled, still not looking at us.
"So, you thought I'd come in here and beat the shit out of him?" Lincoln demanded, putting his hands on his hips forcefully. "And I wasn't mad at Crawford, I was mad at you!"
"I wasn't thinking," Decker snapped. "You had just shocked the shit out of me."
"I'm sorry, Deck," I said, cringing at the whole fiasco, wondering what that phone call had really been about, and if any of this was actually happening, because Lincoln Reed was still butt-ass naked in my shower, looking fucking hot as hell.
And now I'm getting hard again and I don't want to do that with Decker in the room.
"Don't apologize to him," Lincoln grumbled, pressing his body to mine and resting his cheek on my chest, a hand coming up to run fingers through the hair on my chest. "He knew we might be in a compromising position."
"He did?" I brought my arms up, unable to keep from wrapping him up and enjoying the way he felt against me. Though, I'd rather we got out and got dressed. I didn't really like standing around naked while talking to Decker.
"I didn't think you'd move that fast, you fucking perv," Decker grumbled. "I put your Chinese food on the coffee table."
"I didn't mean to attack him." Sable eyes met mine as he drew a plush brown lip between his teeth, letting it drag out so that it was slick and bitable. "But he was wet," Lincoln whined.
"Stop talking to me!" Decker yelled, practically springing away from the door. "I mean it. Forever! Never talk to me again!"
Running my hand over Lincoln's smooth back one more time, I sighed, putting him away from me slightly, so I could turn and shut off the water. I moved him aside again as I opened the shower door and stepped out, coming back with two towels. Slinging one over the top of the shower door, I stepped back inside, smiling softly as I worked the material over every inch of his glorious skin.
"Thank you," he said quietly when I'd finished, giving me a shy smile.
I stood, giving him a chaste kiss on the nose. I felt absolutely euphoric. I didn't know how long it would last, or if he would even want to speak to me once the high wore off, but I'd tasted Lincoln Reed and I was already addicted.
How was I ever going to give him up when he was finished with me?
After Lincoln and I got dressed––good thing I'd gone and fetched that bag earlier––he headed to the kitchen, grabbing waters and bringing them into the living room, handing me one and sitting so close there wasn't enough room between us to slip a piece of paper.
When Decker glared at his brother, Lincoln sighed, rolling his eyes, just as I noticed the take out containers.
"He smelled so good, Decker, you can't blame me!" Lincoln whined, and I stood quickly, not wanting him to have to eat dinner cold.
I scampered to the kitchen, rolling my eyes when I heard Decker growl at his brother. "Look what you did! You scared him off."
I snorted internally, rolling my eyes as I grabbed three plates, knowing there was no getting rid of Decker now that he was here. No matter how bad I wanted to get rid of my best friend, so I could happily make out with his gorgeous brother.
"I didn't mean to," I heard Lincoln say, sounding sad and I frowned, grabbing silverware and slamming the drawer.
"What's wrong?" I asked, when I stepped into the room and saw Lincoln's face. He looked so hurt. I apparently had missed something. I turned to glare at the only other person in the room. "Decker, what did you say?"
Decker gasped indignantly. "You always side with him."
"Nothing," Lincoln said quietly, giving me a fake smile. "I'm fine."
"I don't always side with him," I grumbled. "Just when I know you are being especially overbearing."
I put the silverware on the table, nervous about whether or not I should sit next to Lincoln. I didn't want to presume. What happened in the shower was the best sexual experience of my life and it only made me wish even more for a relationship with him, but that didn't mean he felt the same about any of it. But with that sad look on his face, it was impossible not to ease into the seat beside him, smiling softly when he looked at me out of the corner of his eye.
The unsure but sweet smile I got in return eased some of the tension and insecurity inside me over this whole thing. Whatever this unique relationship was between Lincoln and me, a phenomenal blow job in the shower hadn't ruined it, yet.
"I'm not being overbearing," Decker groused, crossing his arms and slouching down in the chair. I wasn't sure which brother was better at pouting.
"What time is it, Decker?" I asked dryly, rolling my eyes when he actually pulled his phone out and checked the time like I didn't already know the answer.
"A little after five."
Lincoln snorted and I shot him a look out of the corner of my eye. Sometimes being the mediator between the two was like dealing with kindergarteners, but it had been my job for as long as I could remember.
"I've only known you to leave your office before six o'clock for a few reasons. All of which were actual emergencies. Your brother is back in town less than an hour and you're freaking out because we had a misunderstanding."
Decker pursed his lips and wiggled his nose before looking away, and I had a moment to wonder why I always thought it was so cute when Lincoln did that, but it never seemed to affect me one way or another when Decker did it.
"What did you order?" the older brother asked, pointing his chin at the take out containers while doing his best to get me off track so he didn't have to admit I was right. "It smells amazing."
"Nice," I said dryly, shaking my head
.
"You're staying for dinner?" Lincoln whined, doing that flop thing he usually did when he was acting like a baby.
I found that shit oddly endearing also.
"Well, I did have to pay for it because you were blowing my best friend in the shower," Decker said, putting his nose in the air. "I even gave the guy a pretty big tip because he'd been standing out there for a couple of minutes."
"Stop bragging about your dick," I said chuckling, just as Lincoln crossed his arms, mimicking his brother's position and smirked.
"Yeah, well, I'm probably going to do it again," he said snottily.
I sucked spit down the wrong pipe and nearly drowned. I started coughing, not even covering my mouth, just hacking spit all over the place, but at least it wasn't going into my lungs. Lincoln reached out and patted me on the back, still smirking at his glaring brother.
"You okay, big guy?" he asked, sounding far too happy with himself, and I glared at him out of the corner of my eye as I tried to get my shit together.
Even when he'd being a little shit, he's still fucking cute. Always had been.
"Yep," I choked out between coughs. "I just forgot… how to swallow for a second. You know… one of the body's unconscious functions. Perfectly normal to forget."
"Lincoln didn't forget how to swallow," Decker said petulantly, making me groan.
We spent the next few hours like that. Talking, eating and making fun of each other. It was crazy how, even though it had been five years since we'd all been in the same room like that, and each of our lives had changed quite a bit, it didn't sound like we'd even spent a day away from it all. I fully expected Mrs. Reed to come around the corner of the door and get on to one of the boys, because their mouths got away from them while they were arguing.
I got up to grab everyone another beer and shocked the entire room into silence when I leaned over and kissed Linc on the temple as I got up. I froze, conversation stopped and Decker groaned.
"Why did you guys have to go and start liking each other?" he growled, letting his head fall back on his shoulders dramatically.
"Would it help if Crawford kissed your head too?"
"Maybe," Decker answered, making me roll my eyes, amused as always with the two.
Decker could sure sound like a giant child.
I chuckled, slapping the back of the couch and walking to the kitchen, tossing the empties in the trash and grabbing three more beers out of the refrigerator.
"Apparently it's not new anyway," I said when I walked back into the room, drawing their attention. "You should ask Linc about his binoculars."
Lincoln gasped, eyes wide as he looked at me. "Don't you dare."
"Oh, you mean how he used to perv on you from the window? I already knew. I watched him nearly fall out of it one day trying to get a better view."
"I remember that," Lincoln grumbled, crossing his arms and glaring at his brother. "He was running around in his underwear and was standing just on the edge of my view… so I changed my view."
"And almost broke your neck," Decker said, grinning like an idiot.
Lincoln shrugged, smirking. "It would have been worth it."
My body had changed a lot in the last five years. I wasn't usually self-conscious of it. Not really. But if he'd liked my body back then, I just wasn't sure my slightly mushier body would be his thing.
I frowned, letting my eyes wander to the clock on the wall and realized it was already fifteen minutes after eight.
"Shit!" I said, jumping up from where I'd just settled on the couch, about to put my arm around Lincoln's shoulders. "I didn't realize it was so late. I need to go to work."
"Hmm," Lincoln said, drawing my attention back down to him when he reached out and grabbed the bottom of my shirt. "You taking another shower?"
Decker groaned and I laughed, sending my disgusted best friend a smirk. "No time. I'll be back a little before four."
I rushed for the door, slipping on my shoes and grabbing my keys and wallet out of the bowl by the door.
I glanced back at Lincoln who'd been blatantly staring at my ass and wished I had time to get a goodbye kiss, but I had to settle for a small wave before I was turning and sprinting to the car.
***
I frowned as I slowly came awake, my head throbbing and mouth dry. Had I drunk last night? It had been years since I'd had more than a beer or two, but I felt like I'd been run over by a whiskey truck.
And where the fuck had I passed out? If I wasn't mistaken, my face was smashed into rough concrete, and every part of the front of my body was sore from the unforgiving ground. I slowly tried to open my eyes, grateful when the first lid cracked that the room was fairly dark. I didn't think I could take bright lights or even moderately bright lights at that moment.
I tried to move my hands to get them under me so I could push myself into a sitting position, but the sound of metal rattling and the tug at my wrist stopped me. Slowly, I turned my head to look down at the cuff at my wrist, gasping when I realized it was a shackle of some sort.
What the fuck?
Ignoring the pain in my head, I jerked it around, taking in my surroundings. Holy shit! It looked like the opening scene of a horror movie. People everywhere, all shackled to the floor, sleeping in awkward positions as they tried to accommodate their tethered limbs.
How the hell did I get here? I tried to remember… something. I remembered wanting to give Lincoln a goodbye kiss, but not having time or wanting to deal with Decker. I remembered checking the time every five minutes, wanting the night to go by faster. I remembered the bar getting packed and then the night did go faster. To the point I felt like there needed to be about four more of me.
By the time I was shutting out the lights and heading out the back door, I was so thirsty I had three-quarters of a water bottle chugged before something clumpy slid down my throat and I gagged, spitting water everywhere. When I'd raised the bottle up in front of me to examine it, I could clearly see the white, cloudy substance floating in the water.
I didn't remember much after that. I didn't even remember what I did next.
Scooting myself closer to the anchor bolt that secured my metal bond to the floor, I finally managed to sit up, my chain rattling loudly in the quiet room. I reached for the pocket I always put my phone in and unsurprisingly, found nothing.
"They took all the phones," a soft voice said from my right and I spun to see a tall skinny kid sitting with his knees pulled to his chest and his arms wrapped round his legs, looking at me with big sad eyes.
He couldn't be much older than seventeen or eighteen, with sandy blond hair that looked like it had once been decently styled in a quiff, but the product seemed to have done all it could and finally gave up, leaving the locks to clump together and fall across his forehead.
"Damn," I said, giving myself a once-over, hoping to find something that might be able to help get me out of this shackle. "Who's they?"
I tugged on the metal, testing the strength of the bolt that had been secured to the concrete and growling in frustration when my tugging did nothing.
"The tigers," another, deeper voice said, drawing my attention to the man chained a few feet from the other.
He was probably the same height and not much older than the skinny kid, but more filled out. Not quite my size, but definitely muscular. He had one leg propped up, his wrist lying casually across his knee. The other leg was stretched out in front of him and his dark head was tilted back against the wall behind him.
While the skinny kid looked scared and sad, the bigger guy looked resigned.
"Tigers?" I asked, blinking in confusion. "What tigers?"
"The men who can change from humans to tigers and then back," the kid whispered, his wide eyes glancing toward the door and then back.
"Shifters?" I asked, my air leaving me in a whoosh. "We're being held by shifters?"
I'd lived next to shifters for years. Was best friends with one. Was in love with another. I'd gone to a few parties
with Decker and Lincoln and their family when we were younger, where I knew everyone there was a shifter and I'd never had anyone drug and kidnap me.
"You know what they are?" the dark-headed guy asked, his head snapping up and a frown on his face.
"Yeah." I shook my head. "But this doesn't make any sense. What do they want? Why hold us like this?"
"Because you're chosen."
I turned toward the new voice, and a big guy stepped out of the darkness, eyes catching the low light in the room and glowing for just a moment. Shifter.
"Who are you?" I asked hesitantly, trying to figure out if I'd seen him before. He looked familiar. Maybe he'd been at one of those parties I'd gone to.
"Alpha Vance." His voice was rough and rumbled when he talked, almost like he was talking around a growl.
Recognition finally dawned and I blinked at the man. "I've heard of you," I said calmly. "You're Lincoln and Decker's alpha."
"Ah, you know the Reed boys?" His face went from serious and a bit angry to happy in a snap. "Such good boys. They're growing up so fast."
My eyebrows shot up as I registered what he was saying, a bit worried to notice how distant his eyes seemed.
"They're already grown," I said slowly, watching the alpha's face. Something wasn't right. And I didn't even mean because I was shackled to the floor. "Lincoln just graduated college."
"He did?" he asked on a whisper, blinking down at me for a moment before his eyes cleared. "Oh, yes."
"Are you okay, Alpha Vance?" I asked, becoming more nervous by the second.
I didn't know if this man was dangerous normally, but he seemed to be having some kind of episode, and even the least hostile of people could get violent when they were confused and scared.
"Hmm?" he asked, his eyes focusing back on me, clearing. "I'm fine, thank you."
"What are we chosen for?" I asked as he crouched down in front of me, clearly looking me over.
"To help the shifter population by having special children." He examined the artwork on my arms, seeing the tiger on the inside of my forearm and smiling.
