“Okay, here’s one! A baby girl.” She rubs the baby’s back, and cleans out her mouth and nose before bundling her up quickly and passing her to one of her sons.
“You got this, Zel. One more. Push when you’re ready.” About half an hour later there’s another baby born, crying out. “Another girl. Congratulations, mama. Sit tight and push when you feel the placenta coming.” She cleans up the baby and hands her off. The boys are identical triplets. Damn shifters and magic, no idea how they accomplished that shit. Lucifer ended up impregnating her at the same time as Vick, but Penelope was in her own sac and came out first like a bat of Hell. I chuckle.
These girls are identical twins, and I don’t think it would be possible to know who the dad is, if they even care, since they’re fucking identical. I laugh to myself and Luna gives me a look.
“Why are you even in here?”
I scowl at her. “Because you’re here.”
She rolls her eyes at me, “Did mom kick you out of the house and you snuck back up here?” I shrug and she shakes her head at me. Not to pick favorites or anything, but Luna has always had a special bond with all of us, especially me. Maybe because we were so young when we had her, or a special bond was formed with the mating bond after she was born? Shit it could have been the power blast after Maya’s powers unlocked.
We don’t talk about it, but none of us can go too long without being around her.
I hear a deep, gravelly voice calling out from behind me. “Hey babe, you need anything?” I look back and it’s one of the damn princes. Well, that answers that question. I don’t know if I can handle anymore of Luna’s grandchildren. Damn kids shape shift when they’re a couple months old and it’s hard to keep track of them. They have too much damn magic for their own good. Thank goodness for all of our familiars to help us out and chase them around the grounds of the estates.
I give him a look, “Which one are you?”
He laughs, “I have been eating at your house, coming on your vacations, and going to your clubs for decades, and you still can’t tell us apart?”
I shrug. “I’m lucky if I can tell my own children and grandchildren apart most days… now add fucking great grandchildren to the mix.” I nod over to the tiny twins that are being washed up and put into diapers and clothing.
“Ah. I’m Lust. Call me Lucian, that’s what Luna sometimes calls me when we’re in public.” He winks at me and kisses her on the lips.
“When did this happen?” I ask while pointing at them.
Luna rolls her eyes, “Probably about a year after I had those assholes.” She points her thumb over her shoulder towards her sons.
Malcolm growls at her, “We are your FAVORITE sons, you can’t talk to us like that.”
She laughs. “You’re my ONLY sons! Every kid I pop out after you lot has been a girl!”
I grumble. “Are you with all seven of the princes? The sins? Why do you hide it, I thought we told each other everything?”
“Why did mom take twenty years to bond with Brant, and hid it from literally everyone? We don’t actively try to hide it. We all flirt in public, I’m sure you’ve seen that. I just haven’t bonded to all of them because I don’t want the Hell realm to think I’m trying to take over and be supreme Queen or some shit. We’ve decided to wait to fully bond until Penelope takes over Lucifer’s duties in Hell. Probably in a few centuries, we have time. Plus, none of them want children yet anyway, or at all, so it’s not really an issue. Lucifer was nudging me to be with them after I felt some attraction anyway.” She shrugs and helps get Zelda cleaned up and into bed so she can heal her.
Luna kisses her daughter-in-law on her forehead, “You did amazing, Zel. I’m going to watch you for about another half hour before you can eat, okay?” Zelda nods sleepily, and cradles her babies to her to feed them.
I look around, “Can I get anyone anything?” Everyone shakes their heads and I kiss my Luna girl on her forehead. “I love you, my Luna girl. Congratulations on your first grandchildren. To many more.”

Finished my first series! Holy shit. Insanity! It was a lot of hard work figuring all of this shit out. Between outlining, editing, reading it several times, writing some more... Then publishing. Holy moly.
Maya's series has been a welcome reprieve from COVID, homeschooling, and for my darn mental health.
