“However, you can stay for a moment longer, can’t you?” He asks as his hands travel down my back. “I want to give you a proper send-off…”

“Hm,” I say. “I think I have a few more minutes to spare…”

Rinor grabs my hand and leads me back to bed. Back to where we rocked the entire Arcor Moon, to where he made me see stars, to where everything changed.

Last night I was the one in control, but this morning, the red warrior has other plans. He strips my pajamas off and throws me onto the bed before dropping to his knees.

“Finally I have you where I’ve always wanted you,” he grins from between my naked legs.

Never have I been so exposed, but with Rinor, it’s okay. He makes me feel safe, loved, and treasured. I used to think he was a cocky jerk, arrogant and self-absorbed, but now I know he’s anything but.

Well, he’s still a little cocky, but for good reasons.

He drags his tongue across my already wet folds, and I moan in pleasure. Rinor pushes my legs up, opening my body up completely to him, and I allow it. I submit to him, to his skilled tongue, his hard body, his dominating presence, his everything.

This morning, I am completely his.

His tongue enters me as he tastes me, and the look of pure contentment on his face makes my cheeks feel warm. He uses his fingers and his tongue in unison to get me off, my heart beating fast and faster, until I can’t hold back the pleasure building inside of me for one moment longer.

  “Rinor!”

I scream his name as my entire body trembles, as my world shrinks and shrinks until it’s just him, the godlike Zoran warrior who is between my legs, who is inside me, who is making me feel better than I ever thought possible.

Rinor rises up and buries himself inside of me to the hilt, his Zoran cock filling me up perfectly, as if we were made for another. His hips are a blur as he fucks me, our bodies moving as one. He blows his load deep, deep inside of me within minutes, and I just love how the powerful, famed warrior can’t control himself when he’s inside me.

My legs are still shaking hours later when I’m in the arena, facing Davik-Vorta in the semi-final of the Titan Games.

The half Zoran, half Rathnid defeated me last year. I’ve been focusing on this rematch ever since, but now that it’s here…

  I couldn’t care less.

Luckily, I do manage to dodge his stunning blows that, if they connected, would make me lose this round (and dramatically alter the shape of my face as well).

I end the match with a perfectly timed knee to the face, and pocket the winning chip.

It’s all a bit anti-climactic. This is what I’ve been training for, I have reached the final, but now that I’ve experienced true ecstasy with Rinor, I hardly even care. I just want to be back in bed with him.

I look for him in the stands, but I don’t see him. I assume he’s preparing for his own match, and head back to my dressing room, with a spring in my step.

On my way I catch sight of a screen, which states that Rinor’s match has been postponed.

  That is… strange.

  Chapter Seventeen

  Rinor

“There you are, I’ve been looking all over for you!”

Takara enters the dressing room looking exasperated.

“Why was your match postponed? And what…”

Her eyes drift to my armor. I’m wearing the colors of the Regiments, instead of my Titan gear.

  “What is going on?”

Her wounded eyes, filled with shock and betrayal, just about break my heart — but I have no other choice.

“I’ve decided to enlist,” I say. “After you left this morning, I got to thinking, and I decided I couldn’t bear seeing you get hurt again. You mean the world to me, and I only got to you just in time. That simply can’t happen again. We have to take SINTRA down — I shouldn’t be fighting in the arena, I should be out there, where it matters.”

Her violet eyes flare up with anger.

“That’s what I’ve been saying!” She says. “So you send me off to the arena, while you yourself don’t show?! Is that how it is?”

“I’m sorry,” I say, “But I’ve got to do this.”

  “So are you dropping out?”

  I nod.

She crosses her arms. “Why didn’t you just talk to me?”

  “I knew you wouldn’t understand.”

“No, you knew I would join you, and you don’t want that! You’re just like my father, always trying to hold me back!”

“It’s not like that, Takara, please.”

Before I can finish my sentence she’s already gone, storming out of the room. I watch her go with a heavy heart. Did I do the right thing? I just want to keep her safe, to protect her… is that so wrong?

  Takara

  “Rinor strong. Rinor safe.”

“I know that Gorba, but still… that doesn’t mean I’m not worried.”

And a little blind sighted, to be honest. I thought we were in this together! Not even sparring with Gorba can take my mind off him. All those loving words, his whole speech about how we were going to take on the universe together… and then he turns around and enlists without me!

  That’s a straight up betrayal.

I want nothing more than to follow in his footsteps, but I know father won’t let me. Even if I tried, he’s a general. He’s got too much pull. No regiment would take me without his approval.

I’m stuck being a warrior princess for the time being. Now that our relationship is all over the news, I can forget the Regiments ever taking me seriously anyway. All the headlines are some variation of “Romantic Rescue by Tournament God and Fan Favorite Rinor!”

I’m just a prop in his story. The damsel in distress.

And even if I win this year’s Titan Games, I won’t be able to face off against Rinor now that he dropped out. If I don’t defeat him fair and square, my victory will always be tainted.

With his little stunt, Rinor just ruined my entire career…

  Chapter Eighteen

  Rinor

“What do you think you’re doing?!” My father thunders.

  “My duty,” I say coolly.

My father has called me into his office, and I know that can only mean bad news. Turns out, I was right. He discovered I signed up for the Warrior Regiments, and he’s not too pleased about that.

“Your duty is in the arena! That is where you are needed!”

“Why? To entertain the crowds? They’ve invented the newsfeeds for that, they don’t need me.”

“You will return to the Titan Games at once, and that’s final, Rinor.”

  “I’ve already enlisted—”

“And your enlistment is already destroyed. I made a few calls. What did you expect, boy? That I had a sudden change of heart, just because of your ‘romantic rescue’?”

“Why?!” I scream, slamming my fist down on his table. “SINTRA is coming! I can fight them! I have powers unlike anything you’ve seen before, father! Let me use them! I’ll go myself if I have to! I’ll strap myself to a rocket and fire it onto Earth if that’s what it takes to get there!”

“You’re talking nonsense, Rinor. I almost lost you, okay?! Is that what you want to hear?!”

My father, normally so calm and collected, is now an emotional mess, his eyes filled with tears. “I almost lost you! And I can’t bear the thought of losing you again! I know that you’re hurting, but you aren’t the only one, okay? Yes, none of us have experienced the horrors that you’ve been through, but we still hurt in our own ways.”

I wipe away my tears and scowl at my father. If this is how he feels, why did he never tell me?

Perhaps… he’s right. I never really gave it much thought, how he and my mother must have felt. They’ve always been a bit distant, a bit standoffish, and I’ve always interpreted that as disinterest.

That’s why I became a Grand Champion in the first place — hoping to win their affection. Yet nothing I ever do feels li
ke enough. There are always higher mountains to climb, new titles to defend, new matches to win. It’s never enough.

“Return to the games,” father says. “End of conversation.”

I leave without saying another word, somehow feeling more confused than ever.

  Takara

My heart flutters when I pass by Rinor in the halls of the arena, the disappointment on his face as clear as day.

“Is SINTRA closing in?” I ask, my anger already forgotten. Now I’m just worried about his safety.

“They are, but I won’t be part of the battle. I’m to report back here tomorrow,” he sighs. “It seems I was a bit… impulsive.”

Rinor looks up at me, his eyes filled with sadness. “I’m sorry for running out on you like that. I was just trying to keep you safe, but it seems I can’t even do that.”

“You will always keep me safe,” I say. “You are Rinor! Do you know what that word means to just about everyone in the universe?! You’re a hero!”

“I want to be, but it seems we have something in common… fathers who hold us back.”

“Let’s talk about it back in my dressing room,” I say, dragging him along.

The moment I close the door behind me, we’re all over one another. He kisses my neck and rips my tunic off, his teeth sinking into my skin as his hands grope my breasts.

  “I’ve missed this,” he growls.

I reach back and grab his massive bulge.

“And I’ve missed this,” I say.

We’re both filled with frustration and anger, and the best way to get rid of it is to simply bang it out. Rinor lifts me up and carries me towards the full-body mirror. I lean forward, resting my hands against it while we make eye-contact through the glass.

While looking straight at me, Rinor enters me. We don’t break eye contact for even a second as he fucks me, passionately and relentlessly.

This is different from this morning. This is feral, animalistic, raw. The sounds fill the room and echo back to us.

There’s a knock on my door, but Rinor doesn’t stop for even a second.

  “Takara! Are you in there?”

It’s Niana! She always manages to show up at the wrong time, doesn’t she?

  “Yes!” I cry.

  “You okay?”

  “Yes!”

Rinor smirks at me as he delivers a slap, right on my round ass. That bastard is not going to stop until he’s emptied his balls inside of me, no matter who is on the other side of that door.

And I love him for that. The old me would never have done something so wild and daring, but Rinor is helping me live a little.

“I’ve got some sponsors here who want to talk to you. Are you coming?”

  “Yes, I’m coming!” I cry.

  And I’m not even lying.

Sponsors… because I’m so wholesome, so family friendly, right? Takara King, Warrior Princess… little do the sponsors now that Takara King is now being drilled from behind by Rinor, his fire red cock splitting me right open, his powerful hips making my thighs and ass jiggle with every thrust as he fucks me harder than ever before. If they knew I’m standing on the tips of my toes as I watch the sweat drip down Rinor’s massive frame as he fucks me, would they still want to hire me?

I don’t even know why my mind is going to this place. I suppose I like the idea of being bad. All my life I’ve been the good girl, I’ve been proper, I’ve been nice and friendly and sweet.

For once, I get to be bad. Naughty. Wild. Kinky.

With Rinor, I can just be myself. I don’t have to pretend to be something I’m not. The fire red Zoran has awakened something inside of, a side of me I didn’t even know I had…

Rinor looks me right in the eye and says the naughtiest thing ever.

“Are you ready to receive my seed?”

  “Yes!”

His body trembles as he fires off load after load of his hot seed into my unprotected womb. The feeling sends me over the edge, and my orgasm joins his, our minds on a higher plane of existence for a brief few, wonderful seconds.

I pull my panties up, turn around and kiss Rinor right on his wonderful lips before urging him to hide behind the folding screen. I quickly wrap a dressing gown around my frame and open the door.

Niana is waiting for me, arms folded.

  “What took you so long?”

“Sorry, I was doing some post-battle exercises. Had to relieve the tension, you know?”

“I guess. So are you coming? The sponsors won’t wait forever.”

“I’m not dressed properly,” I say. “A few more minutes, okay?”

Before she can argue with me, I slam the door in her face, run towards Rinor, hop in his arms and kiss him deeply.

“You’re wicked,” he laughs as his hands rest on my ass, holding me up.

“That’s all your doing,” I say between kisses. “That’s all you.”

  Chapter Nineteen

  Rinor

I best my first opponent in the Titan Games without even breaking a sweat. Tiga-Grek is up next, a mountain of a man. During our bout, I find my mind drifting to Takara.

All I can think about is how lovely our time together is, how amazing she looks when she cocks her head and smiles, how wonderful she smells, how soft her body is…

With my mind on auto-pilot, and using nothing but my base instincts, I finish off Tiga-Grek with a well-timed punch to the sternum. He goes down wheezing, and my second round winner’s chip is in the bag.

My fingers play with the chip as I head for the stands. It’s a heavy coin, intricately decorated. I used to live for this moment… but now? After I’ve ravaged Takara? I couldn’t care less about some weighty coin. She is all that matters to me.

My mate is waiting for me in my dressing room. She flings her arms around me, showering me with kisses, the moment I enter.

“Congratulations! You know what this means, right?”

  “What?”

“We are facing off against each other in the final, dummy!”

  Right.

The look on surprise on my face must be obvious, for Takara cocks her head. “Don’t tell me you didn’t realize that!”

“I, well, I haven’t really been giving the Titan Games much thought to be honest…”

“We can finally see who is the better warrior,” she chuckles as she punches my shoulder. “And we’ll both know it’s me!”

“Sure,” I chuckle… but deep down, I’m conflicted. I don’t want to fight my mate! I want to cherish her, to love her, to hold her and kiss her and protect her.

The last thing I want to do use my fists against her.

These thoughts are still swirling in my mind the next day, when I’m facing her in the arena for the final of the Titan Games. The Vinz Arena is absolutely packed, filled to the brim with alien dignitaries. The universe’s elite is all here, to watch us fight.

And my heart just isn’t in it.

Takara walks out, looking as beautiful as ever.

“Ta-Ka-Ra! Ta-Ka-Ra!” The crowd chants. This might be the first fight I’ve ever fought where the crowd is chanting for my opponent, rather than for me. If anyone deserves that, it’s Takara.

We saunter towards one another, as we await the sound of the gong. My heart is racing, an unfamiliar feeling taking hold of me. It’s… hesitation.

Takara nods, and then the gong sounds. She springs into action immediately, launching her spear towards my left shoulder. I avoid it deftly, leaning back quickly before whipping my sword in her direction.

Half-heartedly, I admit. The last thing I want to do is cut her.

With a spinning kick she sends my blade flying, before launching herself into a volley of punches.

I block them all to the best of my ability, and my trained eyes see a few opportunities to strike, to retaliate when her defenses are low, but… I don’t take them. I can’t bear the thought of hurting my baby, my mate.

This goes on for ten straight minutes. I block all of her stri
kes, and attempt some of my own, but without the conviction that they’ll truly land.

The gong sounds again, signaling the end of the match, and we’re both still standing. It’ a tie. We’re equals.

Takara is breathing heavily, the look of betrayal in her violet eyes ensuring me I’ve made the wrong choice…

  Chapter Twenty

  Takara

“How dare you!” I cry, throwing my hands up in the air, filled with frustration. This was supposed to be my big night, but Rinor ruined it by not even engaging with me. I pace through the dressing room, my adrenaline out of control. The judges have called for a rematch, and already I’m seeing whispers on the newsfeeds about the match being fixed. “I don’t need your help winning! I would have handed you your ass if you just fought, and now everyone will be wondering if you threw the match!”

“I’m sorry,” Rinor says. “I didn’t want to hurt you.”

“No, but did you want to humiliate me?! Because that’s what you did! Everyone could tell you weren’t taking the fight seriously!”

“Let me make it up to you.”

Rinor reaches out and touches my hand, and it all happens at once. The Port alarms sound, a high-pitched, blaring noise that cuts through walls and bone alike.

“They’re here,” I say, my mouth dry. The Titan Games feel silly all of a sudden. War is coming, and we’re arguing about who gets to take the trophy home… but does it really matter if it’s on my dresser or his?

  Same home, after all.

The very next second the by now familiar colors of the Rift start to envelop us. Our Zorashi symbols are glowing brightly, and Rinor pulls my body close. I hold him tightly, burying my face in his neck.

“What now?” I whisper. “Another teleportation?”

  “Hold on,” Rinor says.

The light engulfs us, pulling at us from every direction as gravity itself disappears in an instant. We’re tumbling through time and space, everywhere and absolutely nowhere at once, before our feet touch down on familiar, cold steel.
