Troublesome Roommate

by Chloe Grey

“Do it.” I gasped as he nibbled on the sensitive spot above my right collarbone.

“You’re still on the pill, right?”

  “Yes.”

“Okay,” he nodded. With a sharp thrust of his hips, he penetrated me, gifting me the fullness of his cock and filling up my soul.

“So. Damn. Tight.” Kevin gritted out, even as I dug my fingernails against his sides.

I cried out as he began his rhythm, not starting out slow like he usually did. Kevin fucked me hard and fast from the get-go, slamming his hips onto me. I followed his pace, moving my own hips with his. I didn’t mind this aggressiveness. I was wet enough, soaking actually, and the lack of sex over the past few days had driven me into a frenzy.

I showed how eager I was for him, urging him to go faster and harder before I claimed his lips with mine.

Kevin tried to pull back, but I held the back of his head, refusing to break the kiss. He moaned something, and I used a hand to tap his back three times, signaling him I knew he was close and giving him the green light.

I felt his whole body tensing up, and my body did the same. His moans were louder as thick ropes of hot cum spilled in me. I came a second later, digging my fingernails deeper into the hard slabs of muscles on his back. Time slowed down as he filled me up. But sooner or later, the beautiful moment was over and Kevin went limp on top of me, spent and sated. Both of us broke the kiss at the same time and our heavy breaths mingled with each other.

“Your lips taste like alcohol,” he commented, his lips back on my neck as if he couldn’t stop kissing me.

“I had a terrible few days.”

“You’re not touching alcohol again. Do you understand?”

“As long as I’m with you, I won’t. I promise.”

“Prepare for a lifetime without alcohol then.”

  “Kev.”

He stopped licking my neck and lifted himself to look at me. “Yes, babe?”

  “I love you.”

He stiffened, but I had expected that.

Clutching his cheeks, I whispered the rest of what was on my mind. “I love you, and I will wait for the day until you say that to me. I will wait, love, however long it takes.”

“Even if it takes ten years?”

I sucked in a breath. I hadn't expected him to say that. Maybe I really didn’t mean what I had said. “Uh.”

He laughed. “I’m just kidding. Don’t worry. If you keep being you, it won’t take long.”

  “Okay.”

“Minus your bitchy part, and your jealous part, and your—”

“Okay, okay,” I giggled, giggling harder when I realized I was capable of feeling happy again. “I know I need to change. Sorry for being a jealous, stupid bitch that constantly pisses you off. I’ll be better for you.”

“And I will change, too,” he said, pecking the tip of my nose. “Tell me my bad parts, and I will do my best. I want to be perfect for you.”

I studied his perfect blue eyes. “You are already perfect for me.” Then a thought hit me. “There is one thing.”

  “What? Tell me.”

“You can start with saying your please and thank yous.”

His smile made my heart flutter. “Thank you for allowing me one last chance with you. Even though this is all your fault.”

“And thank you for still wanting this miserable bitch.” I smiled at him, and he smiled back. “I still can’t believe it. Are you real, Kevin? I’m afraid I’ll wake up back in this hotel room and realized this is all a figment of my imagination.”

“Yes, this is a dream, and I’m not real. When you wake up, I want you to call Kevin immediately because he is pacing around his hotel room, thinking about whether he should call you despite a million warnings from Zane to leave you alone for now.”

  My grin widened. “I will.”

Kevin pulled out of me and crawled down a little to pay special attention to my breasts. I heard him sighing happily. “I missed you, babe. I really did.”

  “I missed you too, love.”

  Chapter 36

We were sitting on our beds in the hotel. Kevin and me on my bed. Zane on the other.

Kevin held up my hand and kissed it. “Again, I apologize for not being honest with you from the very beginning. I was just scared.”

  “Scared of what?”

“Of you leaving me.” He played with the diamond coin attached to my neck. “I know it’s incredibly dumb of me to think that since you and Emma are different, but still, the possibility scared me.”

“What are you talking about?” Zane asked before I could. He leaned forward, excited for the answer, and I gave Kevin’s biceps a squeeze to signal for him to continue.

“It’s stupid but...” He coughed into his fist. “Emma left me because I was broke.”

“What?” Zane and I both said in unison.

“She wanted the security of a man who could provide for his family, and I lost that privilege,” Kevin said.

Zane leaned forward again. Anymore and he might topple off the bed. “You were broke? So what about now?”

“That’s horrible,” I said at the same time. “How could someone do that?”

Kevin addressed Zane first. “Still broke, kinda.” Then he turned to me, cuddling me closer. “I don’t blame her. Emma came from a different background than both of you. She came from money and so had I. We both grew up with the mentality of ‘money means everything’ hammered onto us. She couldn’t handle the fact that I would be struggling financially from that point on, and the added factor that I made my mom’s health my top priority caused a strain in our relationship that couldn’t be fixed.”

I shook my head. “That’s terrible. She’s terrible.”

He shrugged. “She’s alright. But I was afraid that if I told you, you might, well, you just might do the same. After all, being rich is attractive.”

“I would never leave you over that. Never.”

“How are you broke?” Zane asked. “Is your company not doing well?”

“At that time, yes. But the main money sinker was my mom’s hospital bills. They were borderline criminal.”

“It can’t be that much money,” I said. “I wouldn’t know, but it shouldn’t cost millions.”

“No, but I never had much of a bank account. That was something Emma didn’t find out until it was too late.”

  “How—”

“I was stupid and young. Still stupid. But the majority of my cash flows went to nice cars, big houses, gifts for people. Everything I wanted, I bought it. I never considered the fact I might need some cash for emergencies, and that’s what happened.” His face grew grim. “And my dad stealing millions from me didn’t help.”

“That’s terrible.” I gave his arm another squeeze.

“Yeah. He’s a miserable drunk. That’s why I don’t want you drinking, babe. Anyway, I don’t want to get into that miserable old fart, or I would be rambling for an hour.”

I drew patterns on his blue-inked tattoo. Thank God he was still half-naked. I could admire and touch all I wanted. Kevin insisted that I stay half-naked too. Zane had seen my boobs multiple times, so I relented. “Why would you spend so much money that you don’t have? You still have your BMW. We still went out on expensive dates. Your mom still has that condo.”

He chuckled. “I told you I’m still stupid. My bank account is still empty, and I wanted to keep my image of being wealthy and secure and all.”

Zane and I started to talk, but Kevin cut us off.

“It may be dumb for you people,” I shot him a glare when he said ‘you people’. He smiled apologetically, “Sorry, but with the circle of people I have, I had to keep up my image. There was no other way, so I borrowed some money from Marcus to keep all those things you mentioned.”

“Marcus,” I felt bile rising up my throat. “Why him?”

He sighed. “He used to be a good friend of mine. But he—you know what he’s like now. But he also came from wealth—and a lo
t of it. His dad is a hotel tycoon, owning a shit load of fancy hotels all around the globe.”

“Okay,” I nodded. “What did he mean by whore the other day? And your mother?”

“Do you really want to know?”

  “Please.”

He sighed again, deeper this time. “The w word he mentioned was directed at you, babe.”

  “What?”

“Yeah. I had already paid most of my debt back to him, but there is still a considerable amount left. You pissed him off the other day, so he proposed a deal. I get close to you and give him your nudes, so he had blackmail material. In exchange, my debt with him would be settled.”

He stopped playing with my breasts and coughed into his fist. “You know about my mom’s condition, and I don’t know what goes around in that brain of his, but he thinks the money he loaned to me saved my mom’s life when I had already paid all the hospital bills. I just needed the money to keep my car and my mom’s condo, and maybe a little here and there to buy stuff I wanted. I still can’t resist my urges. I’m going to stop, though. But I thought it was a smart thing to move in to a cheap place to save a little money. Thus, me living with you two.”

“That doesn’t make any sense at all,” Zane said, breaking his few minutes of silence. “Just sell that stupid car and move in with your mom to someplace cheap. Didn’t you say she was still recovering? Live and take care of her for God’s sake. Get someplace cheap. And you don’t need to own fancy suits and go out to fancy restaurants.”

“Hey,” I cut in, feeling the need to defend my boyfriend although my friend was a hundred percent right. “You don’t make the best financial choices either, Zane.”

“Ditto to you. How much have you spent on alcohol this week?”

Kevin spoke up. “I don’t know if I have to say this, but, I didn’t accept that creep’s deal, and I didn’t send him your nudes. I told him to fuck off.”

“I never did send you any nudes anyway.”

“That’s going to change.” He rubbed slow circles on my stomach. “A man needs some entertainment, especially during a busy day at the office.”

Zane laughed hard, and I nuzzled against Kevin’s hard chest, feeling his steady heart beating against my ears and the rise and fall of his chest. “You should have told me all of this, Kev. I wouldn’t have left you if you had told me. In fact, I would do all that I could to help you out.”

“You’re in debt too, babe,” he reminded me.

I sniffed. “Yeah, but I would put my foot down at all your fancy dates and gifts.” I looked up at him, self-conscious of the fancy gift that was wrapped around my neck. “No more fancy dates and gifts. Is that clear? From now on, we eat homemade meals. I will help you out, of course, and we are saving every single cent we earn to pay off our debts. Is that understood?”

“Spicy.” Zane laughed from his bed.

  Kevin smiled. “Yes, ma’am.”

“We’re going to make this work,” I told him, feeling a little spark in my chest. “We’re going to start fresh, clear all our debts and make smart decisions from now on.”

Kevin poked me on my right breast, hardening my nipples again. “You’re not going to take a sip of alcohol anymore?”

“No more,” I said. “We will save as much as we can. Zane, I’m talking to you too. I know it’s hard, but until your music career can fully support you, you have to get a part-time job.”

  “Fine,” he grunted.

“You too, love. I’m being very serious here. No more gifts. No more dates that involve money. No off days. We take as much overtime as we can in the office. We can work on Sundays too.”

He chuckled. “I like the look in your eyes. It’s so—”

  “Kev.”

“You don’t have to keep repeating it. You—”

  “Kev.”

“Fine,” he grunted in the same way Zane had. Just much sexier.

“And you have to sell your car. We can use mine.”

“I’m not selling my car. No way.”

One look from my eyes and he grunted again.

  “Fine.”

“We have to move your mom to someplace cheaper, too. We cut every corner we can and suffer as long as we can. But it’ll be worth it in the end.”

“Kevin,” Zane moaned. “Could you please shut your girlfriend up with your mouth? I’m getting a headache just thinking about not being able to have fish and chips again.”

“Zane,” I snapped at him. “I am seri—”

My eyes went wide as Kevin did just that, shutting me up by covering my lips with his. He rolled me off him, so I was on my back. Deepening the kiss, his hand slipped under me and cupped my ass through my shorts. My hands went to his jeans and started undoing them.

“I said kiss,” Zane said, “not fuck. God.”

But we ignored him. A few seconds later, we heard the front door opening and closing.

“Love,” I said, between kisses. “You will be strong with me through all this, right?”

  “Of course, I will.”

  “No relapsing, no unnecessary expenses.”

“Yes, yes. Could you stop lecturing me and acting like my mother?”

He cupped my ass hard, and I couldn’t help it. A moan escaped my throat and I snapped my eyes shut, getting lost in the moment as my hands roamed all those hard muscles of his.

“To a new us,” I whispered as he shifted to line his thick cock against my soaking sex.

“To a new us,” he agreed, then thrust in.

  Chapter 37

  Two years later

“Kev?” I struggled to open our front door. Why the hell were there boxes behind the damn door? With some effort, I pushed the box away and called out to him again. “Love? Where are you?” My voice echoed, bouncing around the hallway littered with brown boxes.

  “In here.”

I followed his voice. Kevin was in our new bedroom, his fingers rubbing his chin and staring hard at my dresser.

“Where should I put the damn thing?”

I giggled. “It’s fine where it is.”

“No, it’s not.” He gripped the edges of the dresser and lifted it in one smooth motion. “I think it’s better on the right.” He set the furniture down all the way at the edge of our room. “How about here? Do you like here?”

“I think it’s better on the left.”

He sighed, and I held back my laughter as he lifted my dresser and set it down exactly where he had moved it from.

I crossed my arms and pretended to think. “No, I like it better on the right.”

“Move it yourself then,” he grunted but lifted it and set it at the edge of the room again.

“No, I think it’s better on the left.”

  “Very funny, babe.”

Smiling and shaking my head, I looked around. Everything was almost in place. Our new king sized bed had just been moved in, along with a bunch of other furniture, my favorite being the dresser. I had never had a dresser before and it would make life so much easier for me if I had a large mirror. Finally.

“How was your session with the shrink?” he asked me. “Any highlights?”

“Not really. All I do is gush about you, and most of the time I don’t even realize it until I ramble. Dr. Lee is kind, though. He never points it out or cut me off.”

He shook his head, but I knew he was pleased. He was well aware of how much I was head over heels over him.

“Where are the movers?” I asked my boyfriend.

“I told them to go for an early lunch. I thought they deserved it.”

I nodded and walked to him, accepting the sweet kiss he pressed on my lips.

“I still find this hard to believe,” I said, smiling against his lips. He pulled back and I gestured around us. “A new place. A new start.”

“You’d better believe it,” he muttered, running his tongue across his bottom lip. “You really made us suffer for the past two years.”

“But what did we achieve? You paid off
your debts to that pervert, and I paid off mine. Now we have enough savings to afford this, and emergency funds in case we—”

“Point taken.” He chuckled and leaned in to peck me again. That was one thing I loved about Kevin. He never seemed to be able to stop kissing me. Whenever we were alone, he was either feeling me up, touching me, or kissing me. He made me feel extremely sexy as hell. “I’m just so glad I could start bringing you out on dates again.”

I gestured towards the bed with my chin. “I like our choice of the bed. It’s big and bouncy and we could do a lot of stuff on it.”

“We’ll definitely make that purchase worth it.” He exhaled through his nose and brought his hand to my cheek. “You look beautiful today, by the way.”

That was another thing. He always complimented me whenever he could.

“Thank you,” I looked down and blushed like I always did whenever he called me beautiful. I never got tired of his compliments. “You look ravenous yourself.”

“Extra spicy,” I added, noticing his cleanly shaven face and perfect hair.

“Ravenous. Extra spicy.” He laughed. “I love your choice of words, and I love you.”

I broke into a wide grin. “I love you too.”

Kevin returned the smile and looked out the window. Living on the twelfth floor in our new condo, we had an excellent unobstructed view of what was below: an enormous park, a lake, a golf course a distance away, and a huge swimming pool.

I clasped my hands together and swayed on my feet. “Say that again.”

That was another thing I never got tired of. The endless I love yous he gave me.

He looked back at me, his blue eyes so bright. “What’s the magic word?”

  “Please.”

He leaned in and engulfed me in a magical kiss. When he finally broke away, I was wet, and he was hard.

“I love you,” he said again, staring into my eyes.

  “I love you too.”

“I know. You told me that like a billion times today.”

I punched his arm, and that had him chuckling harder.

“Anyway,” I smiled as he leaned down to give me one more quick peck. “You need a break. I came here to drag you out.”
